Mubeen Kamani – Help Your Children in Salah

A question that often comes up

is how do I encourage my child

to pray salah?

Do I have to keep saying, pray your

salah? Have you prayed your salah?

Is your salah done? Did you pray fajr

today?

And the answer to that is

in our deen, there's no force.

You can force your child to come and

praise the law next to you,

but that would just be movements.

Their heart won't be there. Their mind won't

be there.

So

to help your child praise the law you

have to show them the reason why you're

praying.

You have to show them that this is

for the love of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

And through Allah's love Allah wants good for

us and that's why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

tells us to praise Allah.

To help your child praise salah, you yourself

have to bring salah into your life.

Show them the importance of salah

within your life first so they can bring

it into their lives.
