Moutasem al-Hameedy – The Monumental Tafsir #72 Surah Al Qamar
AI: Summary ©
The upcoming Halacha event will focus on the Halacha, a series of events that will include Halacha, Halakha, and Halakha. The event will not be a complete stop, and individuals need to recognize their biases and weaknesses in order to avoid mistakes and loss of good behavior. The importance of understanding the dynamics of life and the power of Allah's command to fulfill people's deeds is emphasized, and the reality of everything is based on the rules that are made.
AI: Summary ©
So we continue with Surat, Al Qamar. And
just before we begin,
an announcement,
and I'm sure,
some,
brothers and sisters will come later on. So
hopefully towards the end if you can remind
me, most likely I'll forget, but if you
can remind me to make the announcement again,
next next 2 weeks we have guests for
the Halacha. So I'm not going to be
giving the Halacha next 2 Fridays.
Next 2 Fridays.
So we will,
resume
in
September
insha'Allah.
In 3 weeks from now and when we
have our Halukha in September it's going to
be after Maghrib because by that time Maghrib
is gonna be, I think,
earlier than 8, probably 7 something.
So we're gonna pray Maghrib and then have
the Halakha. So again, we're going to inshallah
resume our Halakha. I believe the 1st Friday
in September,
and
the Halakha will start after salatul Maghrib be'idnillahi
ta'ala. Keep that in mind. Next to Fridays,
we have guests.
Okay. Inshallah.
I believe we reached the verse number 33.
Story of
The people of Luke rejected the warnings when
Luke Alaihi Salam called them to worship Allah
alone with no partner or or associate
and he forbade them to ascribe partners to
Allah or commit shameful deeds that were unprecedented
among other nations.
But they rejected him and persisted in the
polytheism and evil deeds to the extent that
when the people of Ruth heard about the
angels who came to Ruth in the guise
of guests, they came rushing,
wanting to commit shameful deeds with them and
demanding that he let them have their way
with them. So Allah commanded Jibir, alayhis salam,
to blind their eyes with his wing, and
their prophet warned them of the punishment of
Allah, but they doubted the warnings.
Early in the morning, a lasting punishment overtook
them. Allah overturned
their houses on top of them, turning them
upside down, and he followed that with a
shower of stones of baked clay, one after
another,
specifically
marked and kept with their with your lord
for the evildoers.
But Allah saved Nuud and his family from
the great distress as a reward to them
for their gratitude to their lord and their
worship of him alone with no partner or
associate.
A practical
like point we can take from this story
this,
story of Lourd alayhis salam here specifically in
this Surah is that and if you notice
this is a pattern
with all of the nations
that worshipped other than Allah.
That shirk,
kufr,
worshipping others than Allah,
failing to worship Allah and give him his
rights,
doesn't stop there.
It breeds
sins
because it's
the greatest sin. The biggest sin
is shirk
or kufr.
To disbelieve in Allah,
to associate partners with Allah,
to not give Allah his right to be
worshipped alone.
That's the greatest sin
and this sin breeds
other sins. So if you
notice with all of the nations, Allah mentions
that the prophets invited them to worship Allah
alone and to desist. And Allah mentioned
the sin in each nation, the sin that
was
most dominant. It doesn't mean that's the only
sin they engaged in but that was the
most prominent sin in that society.
That was the most prominent sin. So this
is why there is no goodness with Kufr
and the notion that some Muslims have.
That there are people who disbelieve in Allah
but they in terms of their behavior, in
terms of their morality, they are better.
It's important to distinguish and again distinguish between
the nuances.
Good
versus evil.
Good is one substance, is one element.
It cannot be compartmentalized.
Now it is made of parts but it
cannot be compartmentalized.
It's one entity
made of parts, but they are strongly
interconnected.
Evil is the same.
So
each good leads to more good.
Evil leads to more evil.
The greater the good that you're engaged with,
the more good is going to draw in.
The greater the evil you engage
in, the greater the evil is going to
draw in.
Good breeds good, evil breeds evil.
This is why we have famous statements
about from the early generations.
One of them would say, sometimes they won't
be so fearful of a specific sin because
of itself,
but because of the sin that is going
to bring afterwards,
it's going to draw in.
Why? They
were aware of this dynamic
in evil
and Allah says
and those who were guided Allah increased them
in goodness
Allah increased them in guidance
Allah says about Bani
Israeel, When their hearts turned away from the
truth We increase them in that evil.
So good breeds good, evil breeds evil.
It's important to understand this. So the notion
that there are people who
don't believe in Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And that
they are better
They are better than Muslims,
right?
Again, it's not a simple case, but let
me say generally speaking,
we are very selective and we are very
biased when we say this.
In the sense,
we saw something that is good about these
people.
Okay, they
are non Muslims.
Let's say they're atheist.
But this person has such a beautiful demeanor.
That's just one aspect of their life.
There are so many things about their life
that you don't know of.
So don't be quick to judge whether positively
or negatively.
Be careful with this. So this is why
it's important to recognize our tendency for bias.
We humans are very selective,
very biased. And when we are biased it
means we blind ourselves to important facts.
So we tend to appreciate if you appreciate
if you are someone who appreciates for example
good treatment between people, good manners, good mannerism
in dealing with other people.
Then when you see someone with good treating
people well soft hearted,
you tend to inflate this
at the expense of pushing some other things
to the background where you don't notice them.
So you will underplay many of their flaws
and you will again magnify this one. So
you have a very biased assessment.
It's important.
And when someone, let's say someone's very good,
believes in Allah
but again they have this very rough demeanor.
And this is for you it's a killer.
It's a deal breaker.
So you're actually gonna magnify this about this
person
and see that as if there's nothing good
with these people.
And this is why it's important not to
judge. Again,
I'm not speaking from this
modern notion. Don't judge people.
Okay. No, I'm not talking. I'm not speaking
from that background. What I'm saying, don't make
a final judgment and recognize your own bias
and your own weakness as you look at
things.
We humans have this kind of of bias.
One manifestation of this is what is known
and documented in social sciences and the literature
as the halo effect.
I think many of you know about the
halo effect. What's the halo effect?
Halo effect is you see a good aspect
of a person. They have very positive a
positive trait in one area. And it means
a lot to you.
You tend to view to assume that all
of the areas
in their life
are just as good as this area.
Let's say someone who's
very common.
You approach a Sheikh, someone who's very knowledgeable
about Islam.
You assume,
you assume automatically
that this person knows so much about raising
kids.
Like I know someone
very very, masha'Allah,
excellent excellent scholar. An excellent scholar.
Very educated, very well informed,
prolific.
And
I remember people asking him so much about
raising kids.
But his kids are messed up
big time.
They have so many issues.
So many issues. And many of them are
his fault.
That's his weakness.
That's his weakness. But people assume you know
the Quran, you know you know about Islam,
then you know about raising kids.
It's not it's not necessary.
It's not necessary. There is a there is
a lot of links but it's possible that
someone is very educated
in Islam, but they're not a good father.
And they don't know much about good parenting.
It's possible.
So this is the halo effect. It happens
a lot with leaders when someone has charisma
we automatically assume every decision they make is
perfect and very well studied.
And this is why people think charisma is
a good thing in leadership for example, but
many of the experts in leadership, they actually
think charisma is very dangerous.
Because when someone is charismatic,
you know, you tend to ignore facts for
the because of the power of their presence.
So they blind you to facts. So it
becomes a liability and it's been documented and
studied.
So it's important to And sometimes you see
a bad trait, a very prominent bad trait
in one person and it means a lot
to you. This area of life means a
lot to you. You're gonna
again paint the whole life of this person
with the same brush.
And you're gonna neglect, you're gonna assume that
everything in their life is just the same.
That's a human bias.
You don't have to be victim to it.
And the way you can escape from it
is just by recognizing that I have this
bias. So I can hold back judgment and
not, you know, make sweeping judgment about everything.
I can form an opinion about what I
know specifically, but I should not build so
many assumptions
based on that.
So that's the same thing when we judge
Muslims, non Muslims.
We say sometimes, oh, non Muslims have better
manners.
Recognize the bias.
And it's good actually to if someone is
good, say they're good and recognize that good.
Because there is a danger when you
repeat this and say it so many times,
and by the way in the Muslim world
this is very very common.
This is common and its opposite is as
well as common because as as a reaction
to it. Is that, Oh, you know, these
these are the the non Muslims,
they, they're way better than Muslims.
You deal with them, it's way better than
Muslims, way better than Muslims, way better than
Muslims. Recognize you're talking about specific areas.
Recognize that. It's important.
And then there are people who would say,
you know, non Muslims, there's nothing good about
them.
That's also unfair.
It's also unfair.
Most likely the good, and take this as
a rule, the good that you will find
in non Muslims
comes from 2 possible sources.
Remnants of fitra
that have not been corrupted.
So that goodness comes from Allah.
It doesn't mean, oh they don't
like they don't take credit for it. Alhamdulillah.
We give them credit because that's how human
interaction should be based on justice.
But we should recognize it is the fitrah
that Allah instilled in them that was not
fully corrupted in some areas. It was still
there.
That's the first source. 2nd source and many
times they come together. 2nd source is circumstances.
When you live in favorable circumstances,
in better government systems,
they don't have to be good systems, great
systems. They're just better than the
the mess that you have in the Muslim
world. Right?
Obviously, it's gonna have an impact on the
demeanor of people.
Right?
The social norms. People tend
if certain social norms are reinforced,
people tend to comply with them. We're social
we're social beings. So we we learn a
lot from society and we just follow society.
And
and by humans, we are conformists by nature.
We conform to the norms.
Okay. Unless we have a strong reason.
So that's where they come from.
The problem when we repeat that, oh, non
Muslims, you know, are better, like their manners
are better than Muslims' and things like that.
Your mind starts to draw conclusions that their
goodness is because of their disbelief.
And it happens and it's very subtle. That's
very dangerous.
And this conclusion start to poison many of
your thoughts and creates a lot of assumptions.
And then it starts to breed doubts in
your mind about Islam.
So that's why it's very important to sort
of break these things down.
And,
Yeah, sort of take it
apart, take things apart and look at exactly
where things are coming from.
And
a simple a simple exercise would be Okay.
Let's say these people that you see as
good manners.
Okay.
Let's assume or let's try to
imagine that these people grew up in the
same conditions as in a country where I
don't like the demeanor of people,
with the same living conditions, the same challenges.
How would these people be?
That's a strong exercise to engage in.
Okay?
So what you will find what brought us
here is that, you know, aqeedah,
your belief, your iman, your faith, what you
believe, your worldview. Call it whatever you want
to call
it. It's the same thing. Worldview means 'EMA'
means belief. Your faith. Your 'Ateeda'
It has a lot.
It has a lot to inform, you know,
your way of life, your behavior, your actions,
your choices.
So you will find that Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala when he sends prophets to different people
that these different people they had shirk or
they had kufr. And what did they have?
Some major sins there. So Allah points them
out and Allah addresses them.
And that should inform you that there's no
goodness
without Islam.
And we say, oh what about the goodness
that you have with non Muslims? As we
said, these are remnants of fitra
or these are pragmatic
norms.
They are there because they are conducive for
life.
They're practical.
Because morality is practical by the way. Many
people think, Oh, morality
is about sacrifice.
We just have to stick to it regardless.
No, no. Morality is strategically
practical.
It's very very pragmatic. It's the language of
life. It's the dynamic of life. It's
the language of life. That's what Allah taught
us. Taught us these things. It's not just
to test you whether you do this or
you do that. No, no, no. It's not
arbitrary.
These are the rules of life.
These are the real rules of life that
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala set. Okay. So they
are practical.
And this is why you will find those
who think strategically always think, Oh, honesty for
example in the business world,
right, is a very good strategy long term.
So, yeah.
So kufr, the major sin, is gonna produce
more evil.
It doesn't bring good.
And the good that you see is contingent
on certain
conducive conditions. Remove those conditions, the evil will
come in.
This good will not hold.
It's very important to understand this. And this
is why in those societies when there is
no faith, no belief in Allah
when conditions,
living conditions go downhill,
you know, it becomes a jungle.
It becomes a jungle. And now, you know,
subhanAllah,
in recent years a lot of
what we deemed sacred
in the secular world, right? Things that
we thought were perfect in every sense
are coming out to the surface, right?
A lot of research
especially has to do with health,
has to do with medication,
has to do with nutrition,
with ingredients that are in our food.
Now the news is coming out
that a lot of this research
was financed by these big corporations,
data was manipulated,
Certain results were hidden and downplayed and others
were brought to the forefront.
A lot of research that lasted for months,
they only took the results of the first
two weeks because the results in the first
two weeks
support their business. But what comes afterwards,
you
know, this is going to ruin their business.
So they canceled the data afterwards and they
discarded it.
And the stuff is coming out now in
books, in documentaries and things like that. And
when we thought, oh, a world a lot
of the things that you were taught were
actually
good for optimal health, they turned out to
be
damaging to your health.
Why? For profit.
For profit.
Yeah, a lot of policies you thought that
they were done for the welfare of people,
they were actually done. So
the scholars say,
Beyond disbelief,
beyond
No sin.
If you have committed the greatest sin,
everything else is easy. All the other sins
are easy. And this disbelief breeds sin. So
with disbelief,
what comes about is degeneration.
And many in many cases it's a matter
of time.
So a lot of the things that we
see positive with non Muslim societies
are transitions.
They're long transitions. They might last for decades,
sometimes for centuries, but these are transitions.
That evil is producing its results
gradually.
It has not shown its real ugly face
yet. So don't jump to conclusions.
That's important. It's important to to keep that
understanding of the dynamics of life. So you
don't fall for the, you know, for the
flashy results
and the very powerful marketing machine
that is
manipulating our perception.
Okay.
So yeah, the point here is with kufr
don't expect good.
And if there is good, it's contingent.
Okay? Just because it is needed,
just because it serves another purpose, this is
why it's there. It's not original.
It is
not original.
Kufr,
it brings degeneration,
moral degeneration
and
decline in every area of life.
In every area of life, that's what kufr
breeds.
And eventually it's gonna bring complete human destruction.
That's what it's gonna bring.
With iman and faith, only good comes about.
So faith again
doesn't only fix our destiny in the hereafter
but even in this world.
There is good in this world and there
is good in the next. That's how it
is. That's the it's the optimal functioning of
humanity.
Okay. It's important to understand this. The understanding
the nature of good and the nature of
evil is very important
so that you are not deceived by what
you see outside by the temporary transition transition
transitory
states
of things.
You judge something too early
as good or bad but maybe it's just
a phase.
Maybe it's a phase. All right. You know
it happens with teenagers
sometimes
like once they hit 14, 15, 16,
they start to develop skin issues.
They they they grow up. They they grow
up in
in ways sometimes that
that are not balanced.
Okay. Let's put it this way.
And you say, oh, what's going on with
this guy? Like with this girl or with
this boy? They were so cute when they
were young and now they just look so
weird.
Right? We tend to judge them like, oh,
as they grow old sometimes they lose this
appeal or this beauty. But sometimes give it
2 3 years and then they get to
a new point of balance where everything is
just symmetric.
Right? It happens.
So don't judge things too early.
Some marriages go through struggles
and that's common.
And people have this very
idealistic view of marriage that's supposed to be
a smooth ride, beautiful. No. There's gonna be
some really tough times in marriage.
So if you just call it off,
either the man or the woman, just because
you can't be patient with it, that's why
patience is a virtue. It helps you go
through these,
you know,
to hold on during these transitions,
which are part of life. So you don't
jump to conclusions too early.
So they start to say, oh, you know,
this is this is not gonna work out.
I don't feel happy. It's too early.
It's too early.
You have to let that, you know, take
its full course.
Sometimes you're actually in the best
possible relationship. Maybe you have a beautiful dynamic
in the making.
And these
conflicts at the beginning are just changing you
in
incremental
ways,
in micro ways but that are gonna build
up something that's beautiful. You guys are gonna
reach a point of balance.
So don't give up too early.
A lot of success goes through some turmoil,
right? But if you push through it eventually,
you know things start to fall in place.
Sometimes
magically, seemingly magically.
Well that's the nature of things. It's just
you have to realize our perception is limited.
So
don't judge things at the time of transitions.
And sometimes these transitions for nations and for
societies
they can be long like as we said
decades, sometimes centuries.
Okay.
Indeed, warnings came to the people of pharaoh.
Allah sent Musa to them and supported him
with clear signs and irrefutable miracles
and caused them to witness signs that he
had never caused anyone else to witness. But
they rejected all the signs of Allah, so
he seized them with the vehement grip of
one who is almighty, omnipotent, and drowned them
in the sea, him and his troops.
The purpose behind recounting these stories is to
warn the people and those who disbelieved in
Muhammad salallahu alaihi wa sallam.
Hence, Allah says, are you disbelievers, o Quraysh,
better than those, that is, are these people
who rejected the best of the messengers better
than those believers who
whose destruction Allah tells us about and describes
what happened to them? If they are better
than them, then they could be saved from
the punishment and they would not they would
not befall them that which befell those evil
people.
But that is not the case. If they
are not worse than them, then they are
not better than them either. Or have you
been promised immunity in the earlier scriptures? That
is, has Allah given you a promise and
a covenant in the scriptures that He sent
down to the prophets, so you believe that
you will be saved on the basis of
a promise from Allah?
That is not the case. In fact, it
is not even possible. According to reason or
according to the text, for them to have
been granted immunity in the divinely revealed books
that are based on justice and wisdom. It
is not wise for people such as these
stubborn disbelievers who rejected the best of the
messengers and the dearest of them to Allah
to be saved.
So there is nothing left for them but
to have their own strength
by which they by which to prevail. And
indeed Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala tells us that
they said, we are united, we are a
united group bound to prevail. Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala says, highlighting their weakness and the fact
that they will be defeated,
this group will be defeated and they will
turn and flee. And that happened as he
foretold, Allah defeated their great gathering on the
day of Badr and killed many of their
leaders and prominent figures, thus they were humiliated
and Allah granted victory to his religion, his
Prophet
and his party, the believers.
Moreover, they will have an appointed time where
the first and the last of them will
be gathered together,
as will those among them who who suffered
in this world, and those who enjoyed the
pleasures of life. Hence, Allah says, what is
more? The hour is is their appointed time
when they will be requited
and scores will be settled with them on
the basis of justice.
And the hour will be more calamitous and
more bitter. That is, it will be more
serious, more difficult, and more distressing than anything
one could imagine or that could possibly cross
one's mind.
Verily, the evildoers that is those who committed
a lot of evil deeds and grave sins
such as ascribing partners to Allah and other
acts of disobedience
are in error and will be in the
raging fire. They are misguided in this world,
straying from knowledge and straying from righteous deeds
that could save them from divine punishment.
And on the day of resurrection, they will
find themselves suffering a painful punishment
in the fire that will rage around them
and burn their bodies until it reaches their
hearts.
On the day when they will be dragged
in the fire on their faces, the face
is the noblest part of the body where
pain is felt more intensely than pain elsewhere
in the body. Thus, they will be humiliated
and disgraced, and it will be said to
them, taste the agony of *, that is
taste the pain of the fire and its
anger, rage, and flames.
Verily, we have created all things according to
a determined measure.
This includes all creatures in the upper and
lower realms. Allah alone created them and they
have no creator other than him. No one
had any share in their creation.
Allah created them according to a decree of
which he had prior knowledge and that had
been written by his pen with regard to
its timing and predetermined measure
and all its characteristics and qualities. That is
easy for Allah. Therefore, he says our command
is but a single word which is fulfilled
like the twinkling of an eye. When he
wills a thing, he merely says to it
be and it is as he wills, like
the twinkling of an eye with no resistance
or reluctance on the part of the thing
in question.
We have destroyed many a nation like yourselves
of the previous nations who did deeds such
as you have done and disbelieved as you
have disbelieved?
Is there then any who will pay heed?
That is, is there anyone who will pay
heed and realize that Allah's way of dealing
with the earlier and later generations is the
same? And that just as his wisdom decreed
that the earlier evildoers be destroyed,
these people are just like them. And there
is no difference between the two groups.
Everything they did is recorded in the books
of their deeds. That is all that they
have done, good or bad, is already recorded
against them in the books of their deeds.
And everything, small or great, is written down.
This is the reality of the divine will
and decree that Allah
knows all things and has written them down
with him in Allahu al Marfoo. Whatever
Allah wills happens and whatever he does not
will not will
does not happen. Whatever befalls a person could
not have missed him and whatever misses him
could not have befallen him. Verily the righteous
who fear Allah by doing what he commands
and refraining from what he forbids, who avoid
ascribe who
avoid ascribe subscription of, partners to Allah and
sins both major and minor, will be in
the midst of gardens and rivers, That is,
they will be in gardens of bliss, in
which there is that which no eye has
seen, no ear has heard, nor has it
ever crossed the mind of man, such as
fruitful trees, flowing rivers,
lofty palaces, elegant houses,
delicious food and drink, beautiful and
splendid gardens in paradise, the good pleasure of
the sovereign judge, and the attaining closeness
and attaining closeness to him. Hence, he says,
seated in honor in the presence of the
sovereign omnipotent.
After that, do not ask about what their
lord will give them of honor and generosity
and what will and what he will bestow
upon them of immense blessings.
May Allah make us among them and not
deprive us of the best of that which
is with him because of our evil deeds.
Amen.
Subhanallah, already
stands out in these verses
is a sense of complete control by Allah.
That everything is in the hands of Allah.
This
life that we are witnessing and that we
are playing a part in
is designed perfectly completely by Allah.
Yet we are choosing
in certain areas that Allah allowed us choice.
We are choosing
and we are playing our part, but Allah
has control over everything.
He designed all of that. He created all
of this with all details.
All the details have been,
you know, have been documented,
have been written down.
And Allah has control over everything.
Those who
follow the divine guidance, worship Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala, give him his right.
I'm just gonna
sorry those who worship Allah and give him
his right. Those people are gonna end up
in what? In the best place ever.
In that place of truthfulness and honesty with
Allah
which is a place of honor and dignity
and closeness to Allah
Those who refuse to give Allah his rights,
those who instead
insist on crimes because sins are crimes
And many of us Muslims think in very
secular terms.
We think oh this like
this person didn't commit
like
they are sinning but they're not committing any
crimes.
This kind of dual thinking
is a sign of corruption in our minds.
In our aqeedah. In our aqeedah because
what is the sharia of Islam? What does
it say? It defines what's good and what's
evil.
It defines what's a crime and what's a
noble behavior.
People think, oh no, Sharia is just something
that is stipulated by force by Allah
It's not about sense,
right?
It's just for it's just test us. So
it's something we have to we have to
abide by.
Not necessarily understand it. There's no logic to
it, right? It's arbitrary.
That's a problem.
That's a problem because
the and Muslim scholars have always pointed out
what you good
and legitimate in Islam are synonymous.
What is good in general and what is
legitimate in Islam is synonymous.
And what is evil in general and what
is haram in Islam
are synonymous.
What is good and beneficial
is synonymous with what is legitimate in Islam.
What is prohibited in Islam
is synonymous with what? What is harmful and
what is evil.
And Allah knows and you don't know.
So this kind of split that we have,
Oh, it's just he committed sin but he
didn't commit a crime. Allah is calling these
Mujdimeen.
These are the criminals.
What is obey Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala?
Again, this is a spin from shaitan, from
the non Muslims. They have to sort of
cast
this on Islam and the legislation in Islam
as something that has nothing to do with
life. It's just some kind of arbitrary system,
foreign system that is forced on you, humanity.
And for some reason because you believe you
have to follow it.
But the rules that we make
are the ones that make sense. They're based
in in logic.
One of the biggest lies we've been told
and we've swallowed.
And the the reality of these, again, legal
system is that they are just a replacement
of the divine legal system. That's as simple
as that. And who legislates in that way
is actually the divine, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So these are very very serious areas.
Very serious areas. Allah says, With this
Everything we've created it,
what? According to a precise measure.
Everything
and everything about it. So again, in this
world, this just tells you, describes the reality
that you live in. There's no mistakes.
There's no randomness here.
There's no flaws.
Everything is intended for a wise reason.
There's no accidents.
There's no accidents
in this world. Everything is measured.
Every Imagine
when you have a recipe, when you cook
something and you have a recipe that and
you measure things by the milligrams.
You have this very sensitive scale. You measure
things by the milligrams.
And say, you have like 20 ingredients
and you have to add each ingredient at
a specific second or millisecond.
And if you miss, you messed up the
whole thing.
And that's just a very simple recipe, right?
And this is precise measure
in terms of size, quantity,
weight, time, sequence, etc.
Same thing with this world, with this your
life, your circumstances.
You think there's all randomness. This person just
happened to come into my life random. They
happened to bump into this. Oh, this
this, you know, I don't know. Project failed
is just
it shouldn't have failed. That's wrong. I shouldn't
have been through this. No. You were meant
to go through this.
I shouldn't have witness I shouldn't have this
type of childhood.
Who said so?
This is how it was designed.
According to who? It should have been something
else.
Don't let shaitan mess with you. Everything that
comes into your life comes for a reason.
Everything that happened with you happens for a
reason and it's a wise reason and it
comes from Allah's rahma.
It comes from Allah's rahma. It's when you
detach from this fact and you forget it,
your life becomes suffering.
Other than that, whatever Allah allows you to
go through, it's for you. It is for
you. And the prophet said, Amazing is the
state of the believer. Everything that happens is
good for them. That wasn't just a play
on words.
That's a real thing.
When you truly see this, life is designed
for you by Allah.
Provided you don't lose faith in Allah. You
don't think bad of Allah.
But we have swallowed again the non Muslim
narrative. Everything is random, it's just life happens
and you just like a feather in the
wind circumstances.
You're just taking the surface narrative. There's more
depth to it. There's more stability. There's more
logic and reason.
This story is perfect. It's divine. It's a
divine narrative.
It's a divine narrative. Don't fall for these
lies. They're flashy but wallahi they are full
of deception.
Right. We'll stop here inshaAllah. There's much that
can be said but I think that
we took a long time with Surat Al
Uqamar.
And unfortunately I wanted to take some questions
but no time. We have a minute. I
want to just point out something. 1st, some
people approach me with personal questions
and they say I wanna have time and
I wanna
time to discuss this. 1st, I really don't
deal with personal questions. The reason is, and
this is something that
we do ourselves the greatest service.
You know, every situation is different and there's
a lot of details in every situation.
And that takes a long time to understand.
Even sometimes your personal history. Sometimes something a
detail that you think has no connection can
really change the whole can can like put
a new twist on the situation and the
answer.
So
please just,
so that's why I don't deal with personal
questions. It takes a long time and I
don't have the time or the effort or
the capacity to deal with it. That's number
1.
Yeah. Number 2, please before you ask a
question think about it. Is there a point
in asking this question? How does it benefit
me?
Because will I you think it depends on
the will have narrations from them when someone
was asked they would push the question to
someone else. We think it's luxury. No.
It's a huge responsibility.
And if I don't need to give it,
if I don't have to give it, if
there's no great value in giving it,
I'm gonna, you know, opt out.
So if the question is not necessary and
there's no benefit in it, don't just ask
for the luxury of asking questions.
InshaAllah, next 2 weeks, next 2 Fridays, we
have guests. We're not gonna have the halakah.
September when we come again,
inshaAllah, the halakah will be after mihrib.
