leaves to go astray, and none can guide I testify that there is none

worthy of worship and devotion but the Almighty Allah alone. And I

servant and His Messenger. O you who believe fear Allah as he

should be feared and die, not except in a state of surrender and

submission to your Lord. O mankind, be dutiful to your Lord,

Who created you from a single person, and from him, he created

his wife, and from them both, he created many men and women and

fear Allah through whom you demand your mutual rights and observe the

rights of your kin. Surely Allah is Ever and all water over you. O

you who believe, keep your duty to Allah, fear him and speak the

truth. He will direct you to righteous deeds and will forgive

your sins. And whoever obeys Allah, and His Messenger has

indeed attained a great achievement. The best speech are

the words of Allah, and the best guidance is that O Prophet

Muhammad, sallAllahu, alayhi wa ali, he wasallam. And the worst

things in the religion are the newly invented matters. For all

the newly invented matters and religion are heretical innovation

and bidah and every bidah is misguidance.

When the Muslims emerged with divine guidance from the Arabian

Peninsula, spreading the light of the truth, spreading the light of

the message of submission to the Creator

when they came out, spreading this to the world in good will,

pushing against the forces of oppression,

injustice and evil,

carrying the message that was

previously propagated by all the prophets and messengers,

from the time of Adam alaihi salam, through Nuh,

and then through Ibrahim and his children, Ismail and Ishaq and so

on and so forth.

All the prophets, Musa alayhi salam, Moses, Asa alaihi salam,

son of Mary,

the same message, the same divine guidance to humanity, reminding

them of the reality of their existence and that they should not

waste their.

But when the Muslims, as any other nation were going through the life

cycle of a nation, times of weakness and times of strength and

so on and so forth, but when divisions were wreaking havoc

among the Muslims and external forces were trying to fight and

destroy the Muslim ummah, from from a different front on

different fronts.

But it's only when the Muslims connection to their religion

started going down

that they started to lose the high place that Allah subhanahu wa gave

them,

and when we became infatuated with the dunya,

when this worldly life, no matter how nobly we put it,

and we try to make it look like a religious goal,

when we worship the dunya and it becomes number one in our life,

Allah will take away the strength that he gave the Muslims,

because Allah doesn't do favoritism Allah gave, or Allah

gives strength to the Muslims so they can enlighten other people.

But if you want power for its own sake. While you're worshiping the

dunya, you don't deserve it. You'll become an oppressor. You'll

become a force for evil. Whatever you call yourself, you can call

yourself Muslim, but if you are, if Allah is not number one in your

life,

if you're worshiping the dunya, you will not spread the truth. You

will be spreading falsehood,

and that would be bordering hypocrisy, because you would call

it Islam.

So when the Muslims became infatuated with the dunya, and

there was struggle or with different nations, but then

eventually, when the Muslims, when, when the European nations

became advanced in science, and they started to have more of the

dunya, more of this life. They started to have technology. The

Industrial Revolution. They had inventions. When the French army

landed in Egypt under the leadership of Napoleon Bonaparte,

they brought a lot of their scientists. They brought a lot of

their inventions. They brought those hot air balloons that could

carry passengers, and the Muslims were mesmerized by that. The

Muslims started doubting themselves and their religion.

They started looking up. Why? Because they already started

worshiping the dunya. So those who possess the dunya, they became

their role models.

And that's why you hear statements from Muslims at that time, when

they went to Europe to study famous statement that was said by

many, unfortunately Muslim, famous Muslim figures, they said we found

Islam in Europe, but we didn't find Muslims because you're

defeated. That's why you say this.

Because you yourself are suffering from inferiority complex, because

you worship the dunya and you see it the ultimate goal. That's why

you completely taken by that. That's why you completely thrown

out of balance. Whereas Rahu Binu Amr, that great Muslim, when he

saw all of the civilization of Persia, it didn't mean anything to

him, because the light of faith is far more important, is far more

impressive than the Muslims lost any level of confidence. They

started wanting to emulate the West, not eve not only in

civilization, not only in science, not only in even social sciences,

but even in how they apply Islam. So you had people who called who

called themselves reformers, starting calling the Muslims, the

Muslim women, to start taking off their hijab, thinking the hijab is

what holds the Muslims backward.

And these were mere copycats who had no level of intelligence. They

called themselves intellectuals at the time,

and they were just defeated from within.

They felt inferior, and they wanted to build a philosophy and a

project around that inferiority, when in reality, these people had

no place in the Muslim ummah. These people had no visa, no voice

in the Muslim ummah when the Muslim ummah held on to the book

of Allah, Subhanahu wa and

you know what? We still living in this phase.

We still living in this phase

when we worship Allah,

when we hold on to the.

Of Allah, and we know the reality of this life, and we never worship

this dunya, because we know that Allah created it as tools and

means through which we serve Him and we worship Him. Allah will

bring the dunya to us. Allah will bring the science to us. Allah

will bring technology to us. Allah will bring wealth to us. Because

that's what the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi

wa sallam said mankind, JAMA, Allahu, alashem, laho wa jal

bihiwa at a tudunya, wahi arahima, those who have Allah and the Last

Day as their main goal and ultimate goal, Allah will bring

their affairs together, and Allah will give them a sense of

abundance and wealth within themselves, and then Allah will

bring the dunya to serve them, even if it's against its will,

because Allah created the dunya to help us worship Him. So when we

fulfill that purpose, Allah allows the dunya to fulfill that purpose,

which is to serve us worship Allah.

But when we want the dunya for ourselves, and we say, yeah, the

Muslims have to be strong, Muslims have to be rich, Muslims have to

be educated. Haqi Bapt, it is true. It's good for the Muslims to

be wealthier. Generally speaking, it's good for the Muslims to be

more educated. It's good for the Muslims to be more civilized in

terms of technology, that's true.

But are you seeking this for Allah? Are you seeking this for

yourself? But you just found a nice way to sugarcoat it and put

it under the umbrella of Islam? Do you treat other matters in Islam

at the same level of priority, that would be a reality check.

So we Muslims need to free ourselves. If we are not free in

our hearts,

we will not be free in our circumstances,

if we're not putting Allah before everything everything we love and

everything we crave and everything we aspire, if we don't make all

our personal goals secondary to Allah subhanahu wa and what Allah

wants, we're going to continue to pay The price. Yes, we will

continue to pay the price

if Muslims don't worship Allah properly, and they don't make

Allah subhanahu wa their main and their top priority, if they get

all the wealth in the world, if they get all the science and the

knowledge and the technology in the world, and if they dominate

world's resources, will they bring any goodness to the world? No, by

definition, no. The name, the title, doesn't guarantee anything.

And

Allah subhanho wa Taala told us, in order to free us from the

Don't be deceived and deluded by what the disbelievers have,

power,

wealth, technology, whatever they have. Don't be deceived by that.

It's all short lived. It's all temporary.

What sets you apart as a nation is what come to your own matriliness.

You're the best nation ever brought forth to mankind. Why?

What makes you better? Your name, your title, your ethnicity, your

language? No, none of that.

It's the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala is that you become a

force of good, enlightening people, guiding them to the truth,

saving them, freeing them from captivity. For shaitan and the

soldiers that the servants of shaytaan in this dunya,

that's the excellence. That's the source of excellence of the Muslim

ummah. That's something we shouldn't forget. That's something

as parents we shouldn't forget. That's something our children

should never forget. We need to know our place in the world. We've

lost ourselves,

and the price that we pay is hefty,

the price our innocent brothers and sisters that are dying,

that are dying every day, the price the paying is hefty

in the lahatme, Allah does not change the state of a people until

important for us Muslims to understand.

Understand how history unfolded, how the Muslim civilization that

actually brought and carried the torch of justice, fairness

and true humanity and even science and advancement to the world.

And it's important to know that

civilization was interrupted by forces that claimed civilization

to themselves,

the years and the times of colonialism that were pure

occupation, that disrupted the flow of many nations and on the

earth

we still living the consequences of that.

And although many of the lands, seemingly Muslim lands, seemingly

were freed, the reality is that our hearts were not freed yet,

and you can't free yourself only through intelligence or through

education or wealth or anything,

the only way to free yourself is by becoming a slave to Allah

subhanahu wa in the true sense of the word,

in the true sense of the word. And if you are a slave to this dunya

in any way, any shape or form,

doing enough, then you are not fully a slave of Allah,

and that comes with a hefty price.

So we should not take this slightly.

We should be always aware of something like this. Remind

ourselves on a daily basis of who we are and what we are, the

history that we have, the recent history, and how a lot of our

circumstances and a lot of our thinking is a product of that who

engineered this, who shaped the way we think,

and we are adopting this unquestionably

that makes us slaves in our hearts to other than Allah.

If we don't wake up, and don't expect anyone to wake you up, if

you don't take that seriously in your own personal life, you're not

going to wake up. And if you don't wake up, you as you breed, you

will be breeding slaves, slaves of the dunya, slaves of the

disbelievers, slaves of systems. And that means you are

perpetuating

the weakness of the truth.

And a lot of humanity is denied access to the truth because a lot

of Muslims, simply, I'm not saying they're not inviting to Islam.

They're not even living Islam in their own life.

If your child doesn't see the embodiment of true worship of

Allah and prioritizing Allah, Subhanahu wa in your life choices,

everyday choices, they're not going to believe this lip service

that you give them, the kind of lectures that they know are empty.

You yourself don't even believe in them because you don't adhere to

them. They see the discrepancy and the hypocrisy.

So they don't trust you. They don't believe you. They look for

another role model. And they have no shortage of that. There's a lot

of influences online. There's a lot of examples wherever they go

to be so called educated. They have a lot of those examples who

are just going to take them down these routes that lead eventually

to the hellfire.

We have to wake up.

We have to wake up. And this is not an incitement to any hatred,

any violence, anything on the contrary,

Islam is an invitation to the truth. Islam is an invitation to

light. Islam is an invitation to justice. Islam is an invitation to

the highest moral standards.

And there is a lot of lying and deception against Islam to defame

Islam and give it a bad name. Why? Because these are the servants of

shaytaan, and they know that Islam spreads by itself,

and Islam dominates, and they know this power. They know this

inherent power and strength in Islam, and they don't want it.

They don't want it.

So they fight it under many guises. We ask Allah to guide us

and make us firm on the truth and help us fulfill the mission that

he entrusted this ummah with, Allah meaning,
