Morad Awad – Important Advice from the Hijra

inshallah taking and extracting some benefit from the Hijra and

from the saving of Musa alayhis salam from the tarneit from. My

first advice is for our young brothers and sisters, or youth who

are students are going to school, any level of school, even college.

not be afraid as the school year begins to switch up your friends.

Do not be scared to leave what you're accustomed to.

If you discovered yourself this summer, if you committed to

becoming better, then don't go back into that same vicious cycle

and expose yourself to those same evils. No, you're a better person.

And no matter what you leave, it'll never equate to what

Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam left, that's number one.

And what we could learn from the story of Musa alayhis salam

is that he not only stood out, like a sore thumb amongst the

people of Egypt, in the pharaohs. But even on the day that he was

saved from the Pharaoh, even his own people been enthralled in who

he did everything for, he helped out, sacrifice his life, put

himself on the line for them. They all gave up on him at the end. And

is put your trust in Allah. Even if you stand out, even even if

fastest growing religion, if we given to every pressure of our

friends and our people. Oh, they're dressed this way. Oh,

they're talking about this. Oh, they're meeting up this place this

weekend. No, that's, that's not. That's not what made us know what

it is. So your patience, your perseverance, your steadfastness

is what's gonna keep you on the path and that's why Musa alayhis

salam was given what? Allah saved them because of that, right? So

let's split the ocean and they crossed the clock, split the sea

and he crossed the sea because of what because of his trust for

Allah subhanho wa taala. Right. So put your trust in Allah. Another

advice for the parents.

So the parents, I know we're going back into that cycle again. Right?

Sometimes it's tough, you know, the daily grind, work, pick up,

drop off, you know, get the stuff groceries, whatnot, and you know,

what parents can extract from there's so many lessons we could

take from the story of Musa alayhis salam and him being saved

that dishearten us. They make us sad. We wonder after everything we

did for them. Why are you saying this to me? Why are you doing this

to me? I'm putting my life I'm working. I'm spending I'm

providing him. I'm sacrificing everything for you. And then you

tell me this. Don't be disheartened.

But persevere. And be patient Musa alayhis salam after they said that

the new Islamic month. Let it be a year where we accomplish things we

never thought we can accomplish. Let us start this year as a person

and end it as someone who we always want it to be. Let us be by

the end of the year, the person who we look at Man, I wish I could

be that person.

I wish I could be like that person.

Is it hard? Well, life's not hard. So let's think of that. And let's
