How are you guys doing?
I am gonna be the lead actor. Very
interesting,
and you don't have to wait too long.
Why? Because this particular drama has already been
filmed,
fully filmed,
has is a fully
professional production with
over a dozen actors and a whole production
team
is Netflix ready and it won't go on
Netflix. In fact, it's gonna be on this
very channel
as a reward
for you guys as loyal support for all
these years and it won't be behind a
pay wall. So we won't ask you to
pay a single penny for it and it's
gonna come out
on the 22nd
July, Monday 22nd July
7 pm, GMT, London time.
You can see,
on the screen some of the production
that's taken place here. What is the purpose
of this? What's the objective?
The reason why is look, you guys know
I've been doing social commentary for a very
long time. I've been doing political commentary, religious
commentary,
discussions, debating,
you know, all these kinds of things for
a long time.
About almost 10 years now actually on the
public.
Or 9 years on the public, front, right,
who've been doing these things. We thought, look,
we need to actually level up because 1
of and it's been the case for millennia,
the best ways
to
talk about one's struggles, to make a proper
portrayal of let's say Muslim people struggle, ethnic
people struggle etcetera is through the medium of
story.
Yes. Through the medium of story which is
why
I would probably wager that the majority of
people
watch either
consistently or have, at least in the past,
series,
films, etcetera.
And so I think now it's time to
fight fire with fire.
To have a proper portrayal,
you see, of
like our struggles
in this community, in this country, etcetera.
That's number 1. Number 2
is, I should probably put as a disclaimer
that a lot of you'll find a lot
of the stuff that is in this story
has happened to me in real life. Okay?
But a lot of it is dramatised because
you'll find there's like gang violence, this and
that. I don't want you to think
that I lived that life, you know,
this is dramatized. A lot of it is
dramatized, you see. And so that's the disclaimer
that I had to put out there but
the most important thing is this is us
trying to level up and trying to do
something new for the community
because we've been commissioned,
okay, I feel like we have been commissioned
as influencers or
to to do stuff like that, to take,
to try new things
and this is something that's gonna be enjoyable
and it's entertainment. It's pure
raw
entertainment.
I'll say to you, look, every Monday is
gonna come out, 22nd July. Don't miss it.
Assalamu alaikum.
