My dear brothers and sisters.
This global community of ours is being tried.
As it has been the case
throughout time,
every now and then we
go through a very intense trial
in Allah Subhana Allah and the Quran tells us that this is the nature of this life.
That we will be tested. We will be tested individually we will be tested communally we will be tested.
Globally, we will be tested.
The life of a believer is full of tests and trials and tribulations.
Allah made that very clear. And if meme has given us what you took away, and now I'm left unknown, do people think that they will claim or say that they have believed without being tested your Eman your faith is going to be put to the test.
And Allah Subhana Allah tells us that most people fail the test.
And an exceptional group of people actually hold on to their faith and make it through the test.
And we are being tested. Every day you and I experienced all kinds of tests. Some of these tests are blessings.
And some of these unfortunate obviously, and some of these tests are misfortunes and losses.
But this particular
test that the OMA is going through
is something unlike anything that we have seen or experienced before.
And what I see, I see a contrast
between those who are directly impacted by this trial and test
and they're taking this hit on behalf of the rest of us
and those who are
far away from what is happening.
Yet we are involved.
Directly or indirectly.
And we are impacted by this.
Because we see it we witnessed it we experienced it and many of us feel a sense of responsibility and obligation
towards what is happening to our brothers and sisters, particularly everywhere in the Muslim world. But particularly in the USA.
And obviously here, as American Muslims as taxpayers,
there's that added
responsibility that added sense of guilt.
Without going into the analysis of this particular dichotomy,
and this particular
complex situation without going through the details and analyzing it, we'll leave that for
some other setting.
What I find to be disturbing
is that those who are
getting killed, bombarded,
bombed.
They are driven out of their homes, their houses are being bombed, do they seek shelter somewhere they get bombed.
If they go to a hospital, they get bombed, if they go to a mosque, they get bombed, if they go to a church, they get bombed.
And they're told that there is no safe place anymore.
And they're being asked and pressured
to leave.
And if anyone is
really confused about it, what is expected is to see an exodus
and for the demographic
of that
area, that small tiny area to be completely changed
the plan is to
get rid of
the Lhasa
problem once and for all.
Yes,
we find these incredible
human beings.
We find these
civilians, defenseless and I use the word defenseless loosely.
Because Allah Subhana Allah classes in Allahu Akbar, Allah, Allah, the anamod, we find these men and women standing their ground and saying, we're not going to leave our homes, we're not going to leave our lands.
And in many of these reports, and video clips, we are seeing incredible examples of steadfastness
and resilience.
Yet, many of us, we can't take the images anymore. We can't take the reports anymore. We cannot take the pressure anymore.
And many are experiencing second hand
trauma. And many are feeling that their Eman is being shaken. And that's what I want to address today.
That's what I want to address.
Because the last thing
that those
oppressed individuals need from us, is for us to sit helpless and cry.
The last thing they want from us is for us to claim victimhood
the last thing that they want from us to be hopeless, and helpless.
The last thing they want from us is to fall into a state of despair. The last thing they want from us is for us to be too scared to say anything or do anything within our capacity.
But this requires a level of steadfastness and Eman that many of us are struggling to maintain.
So where can we get that
level of resolve that we need? Because courage requires the resolve and Eman
and know that our Eman is our greatest tool. The secret of our victories our Eman we do not struggle we do not fight back. We do not do or say anything without that amount of hours.
And we see that in the example of
the greatest people of our past.
So where can we get that? Let me my dear brothers and sisters carry on from where I left off a day before this whole thing started.
I'm talking about the recent because this started 75 years ago just in case someone because what we are seeing is
is a symptom of the actual root cause that the international community continues to ignore.
Yet Alhamdulillah we see a lot of awareness, we see a shift in public opinion. People are getting informed and they're learning because some people are persistent
and sharing the truth.
So, let me carry on from where I left off. If you remember the last book that I gave a day before October 7, it was about the Quran.
And that's, that's where we need to start.
So Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us that the Quran came for the believers.
And one of his purposes, one of the one of the objectives of this book is to make the believers firm. youth have better living in harmony.
And Allah Subhana Allah tells us in the Quran, and this is my first point
that the disbelievers
wondered why this Quran was not revealed all at once upon the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa ala the in a cover.
Letter.
The disbelievers wondered, why isn't this Quran revealed all at once? Why does it keep coming in small segments and small portions?
So Allah Subhana Allah tells us that the purpose of that revelation to come into small portions to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and for the prophets in his community and the Sahaba to engage it, digested, study it, internalize it. And then another set of verses will come on
is that it would actually result into making his heart or his resolve or his Eman firm. So Allah subhanaw taala says, Kelly, Kelly knew better behave well advocate
who taught at law.
So what do we learn from this?
That unless we engage the Quran,
in a steady and gradual fashion on a regular basis, and we have a rigorous and continuous relationship with the Quran,
we're not going to achieve this steadfastness or firmness that we're looking for. Our Eman is not going to get stronger. We're not going to have result. Because this is the source of iman, the Quran canaliculi neuffer Beterbiev who either want to tell now hooter Tila when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us a hobbit in an authentic narration, we are told that he told the companions that a time will come where there will be trials and tribulations and the companion said, then what are we going to do messenger of Allah what is the resorts? What is where do we go when that happens? And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam one of his recommendations.
The prophetic prescription was the Quran.
The Quran, come back to the Quran, because that's the first place the reason we are in this miserable state
of division. And weakness is because we abandon the Quran
we turned away from it.
So we have and we have to be honest with ourselves. The Quran is the source of our strengths as a community as believers.
Number two, Allah Subhana Allah to Allah in the Quran
tells us
that Allah subhanho wa Taala gives firmness and steadfastness and Sadat
to the believers,
through their commitment to one statement to a word
Allah azza wa jal talks about the Colima
La Ilaha illa Allah
the statement of faith and EMA
and after talking about it
and saying that the example of that Kenema is like the example
of
deeply rooted strong treat Allah Subhana Allah to Allah says, with a bit Allahu letting in Amman who will only serve it if inherited dunya of Allah. Allah subhanaw taala makes the believers firm in this life and in Africa, in this life in the grave and on the Day of Judgment.
So what does this mean?
With a bit hula? Hula Dena Armand, who Allah azza wa jal gives firmness and steadfastness and resolve to those
To believe in this kalima not only say it but actually live it.
And Allah azza wa jal tells us that if we are confronted with any challenge
even in the battlefield, yeah, you and Adina ammonoids are lucky to go to the stairs, stand your ground
with Corolla cathedra. Remember Allah subhanaw taala.
Part of what lie in our Halal Allah means is that there is no God worthy to be worshipped, except Allah subhanho wa taala, that there is no Lord in this universe except Allah subhanaw taala that there is no super power or supreme power in this universe except Allah subhanho wa taala.
That there is no sovereignty, actual sovereignty except in the hands of Allah Subhana Allah that Allah azza wa jal is in control of everything.
We cannot lose sight of that. So when we turn we turn to Allah subhanho wa taala. First and foremost, everything else we use as a tool. But ultimately our faith is in Allah azza wa jal. So we need to stop getting disappointed and hurt. Because some people that we put our faith in failed us.
They didn't fail us we fail ourselves by putting our trust or our faith in individuals or systems and establishments that were not there to begin with, to meet our expectations and serve us,
but rather to use us and abusers.
So we need to wake up and turn to the one
that promises subhanho wa taala. And it's not unconditional. It's conditional promises, victory, promises, relief, promises help to those
who are willing to commit to the one condition that many are not willing to commit to. In Tunsil, Allah hails you have to put your faith in Allah azza wa jal put your trust in Allah subhanho wa taala. Turn to Allah azza wa jal
that turning to Allah azza wa jal, my dear brothers and sisters, I have to tell you this does not doesn't always work, when we are only in trouble call upon Allah subhanaw taala to service to come to our aid to come to our rescue. Rescue so Allah subhanaw taala when we're not willing to commit to the kennemer throughout our entire lives, our lifestyle, my dear brothers and sisters, I beg you and I beg, and I actually urge myself to really consider after what we have seen, I've never seen anything like this.
And every time we experience something, we say, oh my god, this is huge. This is I've never seen anything like this. It just the trials and tribulations just keep getting more and more intense.
So we really have to take a hard look at ourselves and consider serious lifestyle changes.
reconciled with Allah subhanho wa taala.
And it begins with us really
living La Ilaha illa Allah
saying La ilaha illallah calling to La Ilaha illa Allah
with a bit of Allah living in harmony with the holy Sabbath even higher in dunya.
Number three,
Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us in the Quran in surah, Nisa.
And this is
really
direct.
Allah azza wa jal says, what an emphatic Omar you will never want to be healed, I cannot shut that Vita.
If they were to fulfill and practice what they were commanded to do, then that would be better for them. And that will be more affirming and more strengthening for them. That's what will keep them steadfast and firm.
Not listening, not being entertained, not researching, but actually practicing and doing what they were told to do. See, we love to listen to this and pass on messages left and right. And we get entertained or we get mesmerized and we get really, you know, many things. But when it comes to practicing it, we fail.
You see, in the old days, whenever victory or relief is delayed,
the community used to really dig deep into their practices and their lifestyles and see if there was something missing. If there was a sunnah that was abandoned if there was a violation that was committed.
And tonight we'll talk inshallah to Allah in the Friday night program, as we explore a couple of stories from the life of the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam.
And we will see, I'll give you an example. The companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, they almost
defeated Christ for the second time
in the battle
and there was a turning point where some of them decided to disobey the prophets of Allah or they said, instructions and orders.
And that victory turned into a defeat.
One order one prophetic command in order, it was very clear, they violated it.
For dunya
and they, they learned a very painful lesson.
And the messenger of Allah Azza wa sallam was with them.
We're not better than them.
And we don't have a promise of Salam with us.
And we expect to get exceptional treatment from Allah subhanho wa taala.
That doesn't happen.
Last, the fourth source last for this particular portion in a shallow time, I will add one more. The fourth
element that will help make us firm and steadfast
and increase our resolve
is to really examine it and engage the lessons of the past. Learn from the history. Allah subhanaw taala in the Quran tells us about previous nations and communities of believers, including but not limited to bandwidth.
And the reason Allah subhanaw taala relates the stories and the stories of the prophets as well as the story of the Sahaba of the early community is for us to really reflect and ponder upon those stories and learn lessons because Allah Subhana Allah these Sooners are repeated.
History repeats itself as they say
the Sunnah of Allah doesn't change doesn't get altered.
Soon that Allah will tell you that he should that Allah hit Abdullah it won't be
different story for us. So Allah Subhana Allah tells us and tells the province Allah Allahu Allah, you will send them the reason Allah as we just released stories for us in the Quran, like the people of the cave.
Or like the story of bamboo straw eel.
Or like the story of the people of dude is for us to learn lessons from it. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to tell the Sahaba about previous nations and communities and the kinds of trials and tribulations and hardships and challenges they have to face and experience.
There are some communities that were completely wiped out and annihilated.
Completely,
not a single person survived. They died upon a man they landed in Jannah.
And this is what Allah Subhana Allah promises, believers who are firm upon their faith, you're either trying
and you are victorious.
If you commit to establish what Allah subhanaw taala wants you to establish, you're either given that or shahada
martyrdom
and neither one of them is easy.
So Allah Subhana Allah tells us that the reason these stories are mentioned is for us to really learn from them
and be inspired by them. They're not meant to entertain us. So Allah azza wa jal says to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in solitude, what could learn?
Your Rosalie man was happy to be here for either
McAfee had to give help warm or whatever to where they crawl in more money. We relate to you from the stories of those prophets and messengers before you and their communities, that which will make your heart firm upon this faith. That's which will will strengthen your resolve, make you steadfast
and this is the truth that has come to you.
But it's also a lesson and a reminder for the believers.
So we need to look back what happened.
And Allah azza wa jal tells us that those who stood their grounds, they were victorious or Allah subhanaw taala honored them. So we have examples like Ibrahim we have example like Musa La Silla.
And then we have examples like yeah, here is a Korea
and others.
Whichever it is that Allah subhanaw taala chooses for us, we have to stand our ground and be firm and be steadfast May Allah Subhana Allah keep you an eye
upon the right path, may Allah subhanahu wa taala make you an eye as a steadfast as he would want us to be Subhana wa Tala colada. Allah Allah welcome. First of all we have Phillip wala for Rahim
hamdu lillah wa salatu salam ala StaffHub about
the fifth and perhaps,
maybe the most important
element and means for us to achieve steadfastness
and increase our resolve is to ask Allah Subhana Allah and beg Allah azza wa jal for it and not to ever take it for granted.
It's a gift from Allah subhanaw taala.
It's an endowment from ALLAH SubhanA wa to Allah.
And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam teaches us
to turn to Allah azza wa jal even at times of ease and prosperity, and ask Allah Subhana Allah to keep us grounded,
to keep us anchored to keep us firm, to keep us steadfast.
My dear brothers and sisters a Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told his companions, even the young ones, even the little ones,
get you know Allah subhanaw taala times of prosperity and Allah azza wa jal will be there for you at times of adversity.
Turn to Allah subhana wa to Allah and ask Allah azza wa jal to keep you firm.
And ask ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala to keep you upon the right path and beg Allah subhanaw taala for desperately.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam of his
most frequently repeated dua was Allahumma yam was a bit of clue. Oh Allah, one who keeps hearts firm and resolve. Submit Colby Aladeen keep my heart upon your religion. This is the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam, he would turn to Allah subhanaw taala.
So ask Allah Subhana Allah, Allah to keep you firm upon his religion. And keep in mind that Allah subhanho wa Taala is well aware of what is happening. He is well aware of the suffering of the oppressed, he is well aware of the plots
and the actions and the conspiracy of the oppressors will love him you What are mo here.
And he expects subhanaw taala and he wants for the oppressed and for those who are wrong, and for those who stand by them,
to do everything they can
without fearing anyone except Allah subhanho wa taala.
To counter this oppression, and to speak against it, and to try to change it.
There is a lot that falls upon our shoulders. As we enjoy these freedoms and these privileges that we have.
And many of you are aware of these options that we can exercise.
So I urge you, my dear brothers and sisters, to come together as a community as one global community
and unite upon this faith of ours or uncertainty in the Promise of Allah subhanho wa Taala
and realize
that the pain of one part of this ummah, affects everyone else.
And realize that Allah subhanho wa Taala
has promised us that personal gain one of two beautiful outcomes
victory and triumph
or Jana
May Allah Subhana Allah Allah grant us both.
May Allah subhanho wa Taala relieve
the pain and the suffering of our brothers and sisters everywhere. May Allah Subhana Allah Allah protect and preserve the people of Gaza. May Allah subhanaw taala liberate between this May Allah subhanaw taala revive this ummah bring it back or bring back its days of glory.

Salam alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. If you can give us a few minutes we have a few announcements to share with youth as important for our community. Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen wa salatu salam ala Rasulillah Allah Amato Fibonacci molto bottarga rabbil aalameen We asked her these difficult times that Allah guide us through that space
so I wanted to, May Allah guide us to what's best for our community in these difficult times. Era BL Alameen. As you see, the Ummah is going through a difficult time so we go through difficult times, but not as difficult times as our brothers and sisters inshallah Afghans in Gaza and Afghanistan. Don't forget Afghanistan uribl al Amin. So we have a few things that we want to make sure as we're Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen, you can appreciate that Allah gave us amazing leaders who are spiritual leaders in these difficult times like ship for a ship for sag a ship, your set of five this ship, Omar Salam Alhamdulillah unifying our community so let's unify as the OMA Allah and
Delilah and be our support. And also remember this is a test not only for them for for us, and how do we know if we were successful? At the end of the day, if we are closer to Allah before the test after the test, then we succeed otherwise towards calamity so as we raise our hands to Allah subhana wa Taala let's raise for the our voices for our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Afghanistan particularly in Gaza because they cannot raise their voices. So we have slides is length can you put put the slides so please contact the White House contact them in the senators contact your representatives believes please amplified the voices send the message but also remember like she
asked her for reminders. Remember everything you said our monitor on watch so say something constructive. Number five, we are citizens of this country. We love this country. But what our sunnah teaches us to raka Dalaman Omar lumen
support your brother in fake if they are wrong, or if they are right if they are wrong, established from the wrong our country is blindly supporting
injustice, we tell them that's wrong, you're going to lose the reputation of his standing for justice and freedom that's going to come and hurt us. So we Loudly say, not in our name, not in our name. Not it will be disastrous for our country. So we, as citizens of this country, want to protect this country was good, and for good for our past. So please, message has to be constructive. It has to be polite, but it has to be consistent. So let's do that in sha Allah Rabbil Alameen so we have all those things. Also, we have a dinner coming in emergency dinner by Islamic Relief Fund this Saturday for our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Afghanistan. Yeah. Rabbil Alameen please join them
Yara Alameen. As soon as you can support that in sha Allah Rabbil Alameen we also have beatnik fall has been cancelled, because what's happening in Afghanistan and in Gaza particularly, so please forgive us for that. We also have a march that schedule in taking place in sha Allah, this Saturday in sha Allah being Ramadan, so is organized by Muslim voices for Palestine. And it starts I think, two o'clock, it starts from Tom lay bark. So please start from FedExForum Anderson and Tom Lee bar, bliss are asking each and every one of you. This is a test for each and every one of us. And it could be a blessing or catastrophe for us. So how do we respond at the end that if we do everything
we can, and we did not lose our faith, and we are closer to Allah and we are closer to our brothers sister at the end of the test, then it has been a blessing in disguise. So let us come together as OMA and it's not a Palestinian issue. It is not a this it is a humanitarian issue. It's a genocide. It is an occupation and colonization. Don't be defensive about it. It is apartheid, like Nelson Mandela said, is a bad thigh. Like
Jim Carter, the President of the United States said these are our birthright. It is not complicated. It is a European coming to Asian country, colonizing it and destroying the local population is not complicated, so don't feel apologetic about it. And don't feel it's complicated. May Allah subhanho wa Taala give us the courage and the eraser to stand up when we're new to cellcom with low Hadler. Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah.
Oh
correction correction, the March is sent in Sunday, not Saturday, Saturday starts from FedEx Forum, and at the same time Billy bark starts at two o'clock soccer
