Mohammed Faqih – Dua for protection from Calamity, Misery, Evil Destiny, and Mockery

			Salam alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa salatu salam ala Rasulillah
sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam, welcome to another episode of daily duets. Today I would like to share
with you a prophetic prayer that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam himself used to say very
often, and he also used to tell his companions and members of his community to use the prophets

in Allah azza wa jal from Jadwal Bella from the difficulties and the hardships of calamities and
afflictions that could actually overwhelm us and exhaust us and drain us. So are all the becoming

			and from from these turmoils, and from these trials and tribulations. It is given that each and
every single one of us My dear brothers and sisters will face some sort of difficulty and hardship,
but to actually be overcome by it to the point where it causes us misery in our lives. And it
interferes with our relationship with Allah subhanho wa taala. It is something that we don't want to
be in so we seek refuge in Allah azza wa jal from Dhaka Chaka from you know the depth of misery

us with both good and evil. But we don't have again, we don't have to be completely overtaken or
destroyed or overwhelmed by evil destiny. And this means that if Allah subhanaw taala grants you
what you're asking for that yes, you will experience some misfortunes. However, it is not going to
destroy you. It's not going to go beyond that particular test. You know, sometimes you're tested
with something with some evil in your let's say, you know, wealth, some some sort of financial loss,
but it does not have to go beyond that. Right. It does not have to be so devastating that it will
		

			destroy you emotionally, or in other ways. So was too ill cada, Allah subhanaw taala tests us with
evil and we ask Allah azza wa jal and seek refuge in Allah azza wa jal from that evil. Now mind you,
my dear brothers and sisters, that there is no contradiction between that and being content with the
decree of Allah subhanho wa taala. Right? Allah azza wa jal tells us to be content when something
happens. However, the province of Salem teaches us right, based on what Allah subhanaw taala has
inspired him with to seek refuge in Allah because only Allah subhanho wa Taala can help us get
through any difficulty or hardship. The last element of the process is that sallallahu alayhi wa
		

			sallam I mentioned is was shy man that he had. And this can be translated as the triumph. Rejoice or
celebration that your enemies my enemies have or your enemies, right if you're if you're making the
DUA. So you know, again, when you are in difficulty or hardship or you you're, you experience a
loss, it doesn't have to be devastating, but sometimes what could be devastating is seeing people
that hate you and people
		

			that, you know, carry some hatred in their hearts harbor some hatred in their hearts against you,
seeing them rejoice or you know making mockery of you. So we seek refuge in Allah azza wa jal from
that as well. So we ask Allah subhanaw taala again and seek refuge in Allah azza wa jal from these
