In
the name of Allah, the
Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
In the name
of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As they all stood on our path yesterday.
As they all stood on our path yesterday.
We went from this day to our last
night.
We went from this day to our last
night.
Helping the Jamal-e-Aqaba today.
Cutting the hair of Mina.
Making the Zikr of Allah.
We say Allahu Akbar.
We say Allahu Akbar.
Praise and thanks be to Allah.
It is only due to Allah.
It is only due to Allah.
Whose favours and bounties is in abundance.
And it is all for the creation of
Allah.
And therefore we say Allahu Akbar.
And He blessed us with this beautiful, And
therefore we say Allahu Akbar.
And on this day, The day of Rushriq
are the days of any celebrity celebration.
The day of Rushriq are the days of
any celebrity celebration.
Allah subhana wa ta'ala So if we
can celebrate and try and elevate ourselves spiritually
Gesetzentwurf Allah subhana wa ta'ala Allah subhana
wa ta'ala Allah has blessed us to
understand the meaning.
It is known as the day of awliya,
the day of sacrifice.
But not the sacrifice itself, we understand it.
We understand the sacrifice to be a sacrifice
of an animal.
And therefore I have chosen to give us
a bit of understanding which is the underlying
significance of sacrifice.
And therefore Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala honoured
us with two angels.
I am not talking about the day.
Allah blessed us with Angel Peter and Angel
Mary.
The Angel Peter, Allah commands us to purify
ourselves.
And on this day, the day of Eid
al-Adha, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala urged
us all.
In relation to Allah and to perform a
sacrifice to my dear brothers and sisters, it
brings us closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
And that is when we study the history
of Nabi Raheem alaihi s-salatu wa s
-salam.
We will hear Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
says in the Qur'an, He says to
his son, That in
itself is one of the greatest sacrifices that
could have been made at the time and
throughout history.
And that is to sacrifice the son that
you have been longing for all these years.
And then go to your son and say,
this is what I have received, the wahi
from Allah.
And the son says, you have Allah among
you.
And at the end of those verses, Allah
says, Now this was not full of Iman.
He did not need his Iman to be
tested.
Our Iman is speechless.
We are being tested on a daily basis.
As I speak to you, you are testing
me.
You are examining me.
I speak to you, testing every single day.
My dear brothers and sisters, as we are
urged today to sacrifice an animal.
And I want you to realize one thing.
What must motivate you to put your hand
in your pocket.
I never say nowadays put your hand in
your pocket because now there are new machines.
To say that BFT.
To say, do not mind.
What motivated you was your Iman.
It was your taqwa.
It was not just an act of sacrifice
that is going to happen.
No.
Because to do the act of sacrifice brings
you closer and closer and closer to Allah.
Allah subhana wa ta'ala, during this period
of Eid, we have a salah, we have
a khutbah.
And from these sermons that we hear on
the day of Eid, we are being taught
the greatest of lessons.
The true meaning, the true meaning of religion.
The true meaning of unity.
The true meaning of understanding Islam.
The true meaning of Inna Mal Kabeeruna Ikhlaq.
This is what the sermons will teach us.
Those who experience Eid, and those who understand
and comprehend what Eid is about.
And they know the wisdom of Eid.
They will actually hasten, not delay, but hasten
to do good.
And they will seek the pleasure of the
almighty Allah subhana wa ta'ala.
Because if you understand the wisdom of Eid,
you will in abundance read the salutations of
our beloved Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
In abundance, you will read the tadbeer, glorify,
magnify our creator, and say Allah Akbar.
Those who experience and understand Eid, they will
understand how to spend these days, especially until
the last day of Eid.
And establish Habib Rahim sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
He who performs this act, is following in
the noblest of principles.
And that is Habib Rahim alaihi wa sallam.
As our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam, not the best example, not the bad.
Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam was taught and
taught us that Allah teaches us in the
Quran, لَقَدْ جَهْدَ لَكُمْ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُصْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
It was not just their talk, it was
action.
When Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam commanded, when
Allah commanded, He implemented.
And therefore the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
said, سُنَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ بِرَحِيمٍ The sacrifice is what
Nabi Ibrahim alaihi wa sallam.
And so, Nabi Ibrahim alaihi wa sallam, Nabi
Ismail and all the Anbiya, all the Prophets
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam who I have reminded,
they were ready at all times to answer
the call of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And what was that?
Not just to answer the call but to
lay down their lives in sacrifice for Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And this is the ordinary mind sometimes.
We ask this question, why is it that
we cannot just give a charity?
Why can't we just say, okay, the qurban
is just a charity?
My dear brothers and sisters, understand this, the
answer to that is a resounding no.
There is a difference between a charity and
that of Allah.
And listening to the Imam of the Haram
story, while he was doing his Eid sermon,
he makes it very clear, not just to
the hijab, but he speaks to the Muslims
of the world and he says to them,
your qurban, your sacrifice must be done after
your Salatul Eid.
And it has a specific time limit.
And that is the three days of Tashreeq.
Calculate the days of Tashreeq, where they are
in Tashreeq.
That is the end of your term of
your qurban.
That was said in his sermon this morning.
And I can very well agree with you
100%.
Because sometimes we miscalculate.
We miscalculate the time capture of our qurban.
And he makes a point and says, if
you do your qurban before your Salat, it
is an ordinary salatah.
If you do it after the time, it
is an ordinary salatah.
It does not fall as a qurban or
a sacrifice.
So yes, we ask ourselves a question.
Why can't we just charity?
And we say no.
Because the sacrifice, I want you to listen
to this carefully my dear brothers and sisters.
The sacrifice of a Muslim throughout the world,
on the day of Eid, on this day,
he is intended to do what?
To make the Muslim's heart beat in unison.
That is what he is intended to do.
Throughout the world.
With a heart that is the unparalleled assemblage
in Haqq-e-Taliban.
Millions of Muslims, yes we heard yesterday, plus
minus 3 million, 3.5 million people went
to Aqaba.
Millions of Muslims were settled there from all
stages.
People who have sacrificed the comforts of their
life here.
They have given up every single piece of
comfort.
To be there, to perform the Hajj, and
when they are doing the walking Hajj, when
it is in the sun, but they have
given up their comforts here to sacrifice for
the Hajj that they are doing.
A sacrifice that you only understand when you
are on Hajj yourself.
Because it has no personal, no personal or
even national value in mind.
That is a sacrifice.
A sacrifice, however grand this idea may sound
to all of us, for the sake of
Allah SWT, it receives even a greater, a
greater understanding and gratitude from Allah SWT.
Because Allah in the Quran says, وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ
جَعَلْنَا لَا تَسَكَّرْ فَيَذْكُرْ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَىٰ مَا
رَضَقَهُمْ Every religion always have a kind of
sacrifice that they make.
Our sacrifice is different.
Our sacrifice means, I have given you the
religion of the animal or to buy the
animal, but it gives us
greater, greater understanding of the sacrifice itself.
Can you imagine?
One desire moves the hearts of the whole
Muslim world.
One desire moves the Muslim world from one
end to the other in one moment.
And this is made possible through what?
Through the institution of Quran.
Through the institution of sacrifice.
And this, my dear brothers and sisters, dear
listeners, it is the red letters that you
can all read, whether you are brilliant in
reading or not, you can all understand this,
nothing difficult to understand.
And this, that this institution of Quran, of
sacrifice, should also serve the purpose of charity.
This is the important thing.
Yes, we know in Islam, in our beautiful
religion that we have, the rich people, they
are not allowed to forget the Quran.
But at this time of Eid, it is
a time of joy and festivity.
I give the name of Allah SWT.
And charity is not, and I repeat, it
is not the underlying idea of sacrifice on
the occasion of Eid, or pilgrimage for that
matter.
And therefore we say this, no dear charity
can take the place of a sacrifice.
Because that sacrifice does not consist in the
act of shedding blood, nor it would mean
to consist of your death.
It is not the blood, it is not
the meat, it is not the meat of
your blood that is going to reach Allah,
it is only your tongue that is going
to reach Allah.
That is the color of the tongue.
As it was stated by Rasulullah SAW, before
that drop of blood, fresh blood that stood
in front of you, your tongue has reached
Allah.
And Allah accepts it.
Allah accepts our umrah and our sacrifices that
we are making inshallah.
It is not our flesh or our blood
that reaches Allah.
It is your piety that reaches Allah SWT.
That is the name of the people.
They have a different way of sacrificing.
They go to the mountain, they sacrifice, they
take an animal, they sacrifice.
Our sacrifice is different.
The act of sacrifice that we have done,
and the underlying factor is, the sacrifice of
an animal is connected to righteousness, to daqwah,
to submission to Islam, to the oneness of
Allah, to the humbleness of the heart, to
the patience of something.
It is the sacrifice of an animal that
is regarded as affecting the heart.
To us, it is just another reminder.
Wallahi, there are people who stand there while
the shaykh is sacrificing, and they will be
in tears.
It comes from the heart.
The beating of Allah for something that they
want, through that sacrifice.
This, my dear brothers and sisters, is what
makes the sacrifice so important.
It is not the empty mentions that we
are making.
Oh, mashaAllah, I have done ten shaykhs, I
have done five shaykhs.
It is the oneness.
And that is why I said today, what
is happening in Palestine, everyone is making a
sacrifice.
When you go to Palestine and you believe
in the oneness of Allah, then Allah will
bring peace to them.
Do that, my dear brothers and sisters.
Taking the life, that animal, you have control
over.
You can pick him up, you can take
him to the slaughtering places, that's up to
you.
But then you must understand one thing.
If you can do that, because you have
control over the animal, no one sins.
It becomes your duty to lay down your
life for Allah, because Allah is in control
of you.
So you must be able to lay down
your life for Allah, because Allah gave you
your life.
The air that you are breathing, Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala is the one who looks
after you.
So it becomes your duty to be able
to say, I will lay down my life
for Allah.
Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
My dear brothers and sisters, in the midst
of all these verses of Qur'an, in
Surah Al-Hajj, and I find this beautifully
laid down, and this is the Holy Qur
'an for us, how we find that the
verses are entwined with one another.
One follows the other, and there is so
much meaning in it.
Sometimes we just look at one verse, we
take it out of context, and we elaborate
on it.
But take these verses, especially the verse that
I recited earlier, take the verse that follows
it, which is verse 39.
What does Allah say about this?
I have given you permission, says Allah.
Ask yourself, what does this verse have to
do with sacrifice?
I have given you permission to defend yourselves,
to fight back.
Oh, my dear brothers and sisters, you really
believe in it?
You really carry out Allah's command?
قُلِنَا الَّذِينَ يُطَافَلُونَ Allah has
the power to bring you victory, inshaAllah, because
they have laid down their lives, they have
sacrificed.
مِن دِيَائِهِمْ مِن ضَلِلِ حَقِّمٍ They
have been evicted from their land, in the
end, because they said Allah is the Lord.
Allah is Allah.
That is why Allah says, قُلِنَا الَّذِينَ يُطَافَلُونَ
قُلِنَا الَّذِينَ يُطَافَلُونَ Now Islam comes along with
the Qur'an and invests a new concept
of sacrifice, a new meaning of sacrifice.
And this institute of sacrifice has been expected
from us, the nations of the world, in
one way or the other, to defend the
Palestinian brothers and to defend Mahdi al-Ansar.
My dear brothers and sisters, this principle of
ours in the Qur'an is universal.
It's not just for everyone.
And therefore, the outward sacrifice means not much,
the inward sacrifice means much more than if
I were lost in * all the time.
In Islam, for burn and sacrifice, is the
sacrifice of the sacrifice of himself.
Remember that.
I repeat it.
In Islam, it signifies the sacrifice of the
sacrifice of himself.
And thus, it becomes an outward symbol.
The outward is a symbol of his willingness
to lay down your life for Allah.
So imagine, when you ask for a quick
hand, it gives the person that I'm here,
this person, who is doing the sacrifice of
the animal, he is prepared to lay down
his life to sacrifice the animal within yourself.
That's it.
And that is not an easy task.
Then jihad begins to sacrifice that animal that
controls you to say, I'll sacrifice an outward
animal but I can't sacrifice a human being.
That's not fair.
Sacrificing an animal is much better than sacrificing
the outward one.
Because the animal will be mad.
He must remind me that he can be
sacrificed.
Again, all this departs from one end to
the world to the other end.
God sent us one idea, one particular tool.
And thus, this whole idea leads to the
development of the self-sacrifice in the entire
Muslim nation of the world.
In the life of a Muslim, my dear
brothers and sisters, sacrifice is primary for Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala, for the Prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam and for his family.
The sacrifice, my dear brothers, today, and I
say this with all honesty, and I say
this and I hope as many people can
listen to this before I say it now,
because our sacrifice is intended for true justice,
for true peace, for fraternity, for the truth,
for what is right, to remove oppression.
That is the sacrifice we must be making.
Today, I ask you, my dear brothers and
sisters, I'm going to ask you a very
personal question and you are answering honestly.
If we have a Khalifa in place today
and he calls us for jihad, who of
us are prepared to go for jihad?
I hope everyone.
And we can prepare ourselves.
If the day of the Khalifa comes and
he calls for jihad, we will be ready
to sacrifice our lives, not just their lives,
but sacrifice anything in our sacrifice.
Our fight is against injustice, against oppression, against
corruption, the enemy of Islam.
It is narrated in the book of Bukhari
and the book of Muslim that Rasulullah sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam said, we sacrifice on the
day of the Khalifa.
And then, Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam awaits
himself in the book of two rams.
And you see, I'm not saying two rams
because this is a normal interpretation, but believe
me, you don't need to believe that because
they are very, very connected.
Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the book
of two white, beautiful rams and he brought
one from Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and
his Ahlulbayt and family of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi
wa alayhi wa sallam and he said to
him, my Lord, how hard and tough it
is for you, O Allah, how hard.
How did our Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
1400 years ago sacrifice that for us?
Allahumma salli ala sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam raise the Lord of the Prophets Allahumma
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Allahumma sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam wa lillahi l-hamd.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim And
this is the true meaning of sacrifice, my
dear brothers and sisters, if you can get
up on this day, embrace one another with
sincerity, with sincerity, today we'll embrace one another
and show our teeth and then afterwards we'll
both love each other, we will bustle about
each other, we will be jealous of each
other, we will run down each other, we
will slander one another.
When you embrace someone, you embrace the one,
a person with sincerity, whose heart you are,
my heart is pure, I am Muslim, I
am Muslim and said by Muslim, I mean
he said he is Wahhabi, Wahhabi is Wahhabi,
Wahhabi is Wahhabi, Wahhabi is Wahhabi, Wahhabi is
Wahhabi.
When you embrace someone, you embrace sincerity, you
can't show your teeth like a lion and
then bite him to death.
No, let this day of age be a
day that we spend time with our families,
we spend time with our friends, let this
day of age be a day when we
try our best to look after the poor
and needy, let this day of age be
a day that will be filled with love,
compassion and sincerity towards one another.
Let us try and remove and sacrifice all
animosities that's there, all hatred, all selfishness, all
jealousy, all disputes, let us try and remove
it and think of the wonders of the
brotherhood of Islam.
If there are any ummah to call, ummah
al-wahya, wa ala muhammadun.
This ummah is one nation, let's think about
the ummah, let us not think about our
egos, let us not think about what we
do, which is right and this is wrong,
let's give guidance to the ummah.
Help us and assist us, to remove whatever
illness and everything in our hearts, so that
when we meet our creator, we will meet
Allah, because that is the key to paradise.
We will not enter paradise in the hereafter.
Islam demands from us that we must be
strong in our iman, our conviction must be
there, be strong in our belief, our trustworthiness
must be there, the message of Allah must
be there.
Do not be afraid when we are not
consistent to deliver the message of Allah, because
that was the message of Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam.
Allah has delivered it.
We sit
here today and we say 1400 years ago,
you must have a message and we see
it.
Nashham ya Rasulullah.
You should be a witness over the vision
of Allah.
Annaka balladha risal, that you have delivered your
message.
Wa nasaht al ummah, and you have guided
the ummah.
And you have exalted yourself in the path
of Allah in the true way.
We ask Allah to give you the best
and highest from all of us, from us,
for what we are today.
Because you deserve it and you get it.
So we carry the flag of Islam.
My dear brothers and sisters, as much as
it means for this day to day, I
can elaborate much and much more on this
idea of sacrifice and the relationship between the
people, I, Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, and
his beloved son Ibn Ismail, how they communicated,
what transpired, but I believe that tomorrow you
will know.
May God be with you.
May God be with you.
This is for all of us.
If not, then everybody's fault.
We do not know if we have to
answer this question or not.
So may the best of you.
Astaidh Billah.
Good to meet you.
Clean your hearts.
Speak to one another to get your intelligence.
Love and respect one another.
And that is, Inshallah.
And we meet our Creator.
And we meet our Creator.
Pure minds, pure hearts, Inshallah.
Allow me to say to all of you,
my dear brothers and sisters, Imams, students, whatever,
the listeners of radio services, on behalf of
my son, my wife, she has a brother
in the family.
I wish you a happy Eid Mubarak.
Enjoy the Eid Mubarak.
Please don't forget your Eid Mubarak.
Make sure that you eat as much as
you can.
Glorified and magnified Allah.
This is the day of the Eid Mubarak.
This is the day that Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam started his sermon on the day
of Eid.
And it is our time.
Moving into the day of Eid al-Adha.
Moving into the days of Tashrīq.
The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam gave his
sermon every day.
And that is why, when I was asked,
will you deliver his sermon tomorrow?
He said, yes.
I said, yes.
I didn't say no.
I didn't say it's not my Eid.
Why would I say no?
I said yes.
Because as much as I can ask for
the message, do whatever I can, may Allah
reward me for it.
Ameen.
May Allah keep us in His protection.
May Allah protect us as a Muslim.
May Allah protect this country where we are
in.
We know what happened and what is happening.
Everybody is aware of it.
But most importantly, may Allah make me in
His way.
Especially, especially, especially in Palestine, Lebanon, in Sudan,
Panama, in Congo.
These are all places where genocide is taking
place.
May Allah protect us.
Expose all Muslims that are betrayed and wretched.
May Allah protect.
The religion of Islam, which Allah promised, may
Allah protect us.
May Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, protect us
all.
InshaAllah.
This is humanity.
