And perhaps it needs to take this long
for us to realize there's no overnight fix.
For us to realize we got to do
something different if we want to see something
different.
Because we have many just causes everywhere.
And humanity does as well and we should
be concerned about all of them.
But in the story of Yusuf Alayhi Salaam,
look, he got forgotten in the prison and
they never told the king there's an innocent
man inside.
If they would have remembered Yusuf and told
the king, the king may not have cared.
I don't care.
There's many people in the prison who say
they're innocent.
But it was when the king needed someone
to interpret the dream that Yusuf finally have
leverage.
He was mentioned at a time when he
was needed.
And that is from the great Qadar of
Allah.
It is almost like getting a business card
from someone at a time when you don't
need a plumber.
So you just throw it aside, right?
But that they have a pipe broken in
your house, that business card is everything.
And so Allah brought Yusuf to a place
where he could save the world by having
a skill that he awaited till it was
needed.
So be ready, be on standby, work, be
visionary, long term, think ummah and never lose
despair in a Lord that laughs.
May Allah forgive our sins and conceal our
flaws.
May Allah mend our ranks and strengthen our
resolve.
May Allah Azza wa Jal grant us life
so long as life is good for us
and put us to death whenever He knows
that death is better for us.
May Allah give honor and dignity to the
Muslims everywhere and grant sanctity and protection to
the innocent everywhere.
May Allah Azza wa Jal guide us and
guide with us and make us a means
for others to be guided in the future.
