one year of the genocide.

EPIC is having an expo for all the
brothers and sisters that moved recently and they're
asking questions about schools and halal restaurants and
supermarkets and doctors and tutors or whatever.
You come and you present, showcase your business

Very important announcement is that tonight Isha is
at 8 p.m. And the most important
announcement is that after they change the time
on Sunday, Jum'ah will be 12.30
and two o'clock.
12.30 and two o'clock.
So this Salat will be two o'clock
next week, inshallah ta'ala.
There are a few brothers and sisters that
passed away in our community.
Brother Sayyid Ali Akbar, Brother Sayyid Ali Akbar,
Brother Rizwan Ahmed's mom, Brother Dameel Yusuf's grandmother,
Sister Maha Jabouri.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala forgive all
their sins.
Allahumma aghfirlahum warhamahum, wa'afihim wa'afu anhum,
waakrim nuzulahum wa wasi' mutkhalahum.
May Allah grant them the highest place in
the Firdaws al-A'la.
We also have a few sick brothers and
sisters.
There's a baby, baby Yusra.
She's in the ICU.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala give her
shifa and bring her home.
And yesterday, an accident took place on the
75.
Three people died.
And one sister, 21-year-old, subhanAllah.
As we speak, her leg is being amputated.
21 years old.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala make an
easy surgery and may Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala give her and her family the patience.
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest, Allah
is the Greatest.
I bear witness that there is none worthy
of worship except Allah.
I bear witness that there is none worthy
of worship except Allah.
I bear witness that
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
I bear witness
that Muhammad is the Messenger of
Allah.
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
Come to
success.
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
I
bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship
except Allah.
I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger
of Allah.
As-salamu alaykum
wa
rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
from them many men and women, and fear
Allah in Whom you ask for help and
mercy.
Indeed, Allah is ever watching over you.
O you who have believed, fear Allah and
speak a just word.
He will amend for you your deeds and
forgive you your sins.
And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has
won a great triumph.
My dear, beloved, respected brothers and sisters, I
ask Allah Azza wa Jalla who gathered us
in this masjid to gather us Yawm al
-Qiyamah with Sayyid al-Mursaleen Muhammad salallahu alayhi
wa sallam.
Ameen.
Allah subhana wa ta'ala has decreed that
everything, everything has a beginning and an end.
The days, the weeks, the months, even our
own life.
It has a beginning and it has an
end.
After that, it will be either eternal Jannah,
may Allah make us all from the people
of Jannah, or it would be *.
May Allah save us all from the Hellfire.
But the question that I want to post
to myself first and to my brothers and
sisters is that what would the world lose
after my death?
What would the world miss after I'm gone?
What would my community miss after I'm gone?
What would my neighbors miss?
What would my family miss after I'm long
gone?
From the wisdom of Allah subhana wa ta
'ala is that he did not make the
legacy of a person, the legacy they leave
behind depending on how long they lived, what
food they ate, what neighborhood they lived in,
how many cars they had.
This is not how the legacy is measured.
The legacy is measured by the difference we
make in people's lives.
The legacy is measured by how much we
have impacted people around us.
It is the kindness you have shown, the
lives that you have touched.
And now we go back to the question
every single one of us, what would the
world lose after my death?
And this is not just another question, I
really want you to ponder upon this question.
There are people when they depart, not only
their family cries, but the heavens and the
earth cry.
Really?
It's in the Quran.
Allah subhana wa ta'ala said in surat
al-Dukhan, ثَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ And
the heavens and the earth, they did not
cry when they died.
Ibn Abbas, Sahaba came to Ibn Abbas radiallahu
anhu, and they asked him, What does that
mean that the heavens and the earth did
not cry?
Ibn Abbas radiallahu anhu said, Everyone has a
gate in the heavens through which his provision
comes down, and his deeds ascend.
When that believer dies, that gate is closed,
and it misses him and starts weeping for
his departure.
Their place of salat and remembrance of Allah
on earth will miss them, and weeps because
of their departure.
Will the earth and the heavens cry after
myself or you depart?
My brothers and sisters, those people whom the
heavens and the earth weep after their departure,
their main concern from the moment they wake
up till the moment they go back to
sleep, is Allah pleased with me?
All day long, 24x7.
That's all they worry about.
That is their main concern.
The pleasure of Allah Azza wa Jal.
Those people, their slogan is, عَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ
لِتَرْضَ And Ya Allah, I hastened to you
so you can be pleased.
I hastened, I rushed to you Ya Allah,
so you can be pleased.
When they see a brother and sister in
need anywhere in the world, they rush and
they help.
When they see someone in the community behind
in their rent, they rush and they help
financially.
When they hear that someone in the community
is sick, they rush and they go and
visit.
When they hear that there is an orphan
that is in dire need, they rush.
يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ They rush to do good.
Their main concern is the pleasure of Allah
Azza wa Jal.
Why?
Because Allah Azza wa Jal is عَلَىٰ كُلِّ
شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٍ They figured, why should I please
so and so, Why should I please this
guy or that guy?
They are not عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٍ They
are not capable of doing anything.
They do not know the unseen.
The only one who is capable of doing
anything, the only one who knows the unseen,
the only one who permits into Jannah and
prevents hellfire, is one and only one, and
that is Allah.
How can it make any sense pleasing other
than Him?
If I'm looking for that eternal life to
be in Jannah, I have to please the
owner of Jannah.
I have to please the only one that
allows people into Jannah, and that is none
but Allah Azza wa Jal.
When we gain the pleasure of Allah Azza
wa Jal, may Allah be pleased with us
all.
I beg Allah on this blessed day of
Friday, Ya Rabb, Ya Allah, do not take
our soul until you are pleased with us.
Ameen, Ya Rabb al-alameen.
When we gain the pleasure of Allah, what
is the reward?
رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرَ When
we earn the pleasure of Allah Azza wa
Jal, then Allah will please us.
When He's pleased with us, He said four
times in the Quran, رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ He
is pleased with them because of what they
are doing, and that led for them to
be pleased in this dunya, and in the
akhirah.
So the rida of Allah Azza wa Jal,
when we are trying to please Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala, Allah will please us in
the dunya and in the akhirah.
My brothers and sisters, we are not the
same in the sight of Allah Azza wa
Jal.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said in surah
Al-Imran, هُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ They are
of different grades in the sight of Allah.
Why?
We all have two eyes, two ears, one
nose, two legs.
What's the difference?
What made me different than you?
Or you different than him?
هُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ Why?
Because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala بَصِيرٌ بِمَا
يَعْمَلُونَ Because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is
judging us according to what we do.
Our actions determine our grade, our status, our
level in the sight of Allah Azza wa
Jal.
It's all about, my brothers and sisters, it's
all about what we have done when we
are still above the ground.
It's all about what we have done when
we are still alive.
It's all about how selfish or selfless we
were.
My brothers and sisters, that's why when Rasulullah
ﷺ was asked a beautiful question.
He said, Ya Rasulullah, who is the most
beloved person to Allah Azza wa Jal?
He said, أَنفَعُهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ The one who brings
the most benefit to humanity.
This is the most beloved person to Allah.
What does it mean the most beloved person
to Allah?
Do you think Allah will throw in the
hellfire the most beloved person to Him?
That means He's pleased with him.
My brothers and sisters, as long as we
are still breathing above this ground, we can
still leave something behind that will stay very
possible till the day of judgment.
The Messenger of Allah was standing with the
companions and a funeral procession passed by.
The Messenger of Allah said, مُسْتَرِيحٌ أَوْ مُسْتَرَاحٌ
مِنْهِ The companions said, Ya Rasulallah, what does
that mean?
مُسْتَرِيحٌ أَوْ مُسْتَرَاحٌ مِنْهِ He said, The believer
is مُسْتَرِيحٌ The believer is relieved after his
death from all the hardships and the problems
of this dunya.
And the wicked person, the people, the cities,
the trees and the animals are relieved from
him after his death.
So all of us are either مُسْتَرِيحٌ أَوْ
مُسْتَرَاحٌ مِنْهِ What do you want to be
said when your janazah passes?
What would your children say after you pass
away?
My brothers and sisters, The throne of Allah
shook.
The throne of Allah shook for the death
of Sa'd ibn Mu'ath.
Out of happiness and joy welcoming him.
And you know how old he was in
Islam?
Six years.
A person that lived only six years.
The throne of Allah shook for his death.
It's not about how long we live.
It's about what did we achieve in this
period that we lived.
How many people we changed their lives.
How many people became Muslims because of your
behavior?
Because of your manners?
How many people you touched so much that
they started praying because of you?
Sisters, how many people they were so impressed
by your hijab that they start wearing the
hijab because of you?
How many families tasted the beauty of life
only after their father departed from this dunya?
Because he was so stingy.
There was a brother who was so stingy.
Millions and millions of dollars.
Tens of properties overseas.
And he used to walk with a flip
-flop.
And that's all he owned, a flip-flop
and a thawb.
One filthy.
To the level they start calling him Abu
flip-flop.
And he constantly deprived his family from everything.
When he died, they refused.
The children refused to pay for the janazah
of the father.
The imam has to call people to donate
to bury a millionaire.
How many peoples cannot wait for their father
to leave because of the misery that he
put them in?
How many countries would rejoice when their president
or their king pass away because of his
oppression?
And at the same time, on the other
hand, how many people weeped when a righteous
scholar passed away?
How many people weeped when a mujahid passed
away?
How many people weeped when a god-fearing
commander died as a shaheed?
How many people cried when a caller to
Allah had passed away?
There are many people among us that are
dead even though they are breathing and eating
and drinking and walking.
And there are so many people that are
still alive even though they passed hundreds of
years ago.
How many times per day the name Bukhari
is mentioned on earth?
How many times per day the name Abu
Huraira is mentioned on earth?
Is it because of their wealth?
Abu Huraira used to fall down because of
hunger.
How many times a day the name of
Salah al-Din al-Ayub is mentioned?
How many times a day Khalid ibn al
-Walid, after long gone, they are mentioned, they
are still alive.
And we have people that they are dead
and they are still eating and drinking.
Nothing, no benefit whatsoever from them.
My brothers and sisters, there was a man
who died recently, 2013 or 2014.
His name was Abdulrahman Sumait.
Go search his name on Google.
S-U-M-A-I-T, Abdulrahman.
Abdulrahman, he was a doctor from Kuwait.
Subhanallah.
May Allah have mercy on him.
Till this day, even though it's only 10
years, we're still saying, when he mentioned his
name, may Allah have mercy on him.
Millions, millions of people became Muslims because of
his efforts.
Millions in Africa.
Hundreds of orphanages.
Hundreds of schools.
Thousands of wells.
If there's one person I'm envious of, it's
this man.
He left all the dunya, he's a doctor.
He left all that and dedicated his life
to serve Allah Azza wa Jal.
And his legacy will stay.
Everyone who took shahada because of his efforts,
after the will of Allah Azza wa Jal,
he will get the ajr, even though he
could be hundreds of years, he passed away
hundreds of years ago.
My brothers and sisters, please listen carefully.
If you drop dead tomorrow, I'm not going
to tell you the word, what will this
masjid lose?
Is it going to take us half an
hour to identify you?
Oh, the brother who did this, he used
to come, he's tall.
Or the brother who used to always, subhanAllah,
take care of the parking.
The brother who, mashallah, he donated so much
to build this masjid.
The brother who's always doing the pantry outside.
The brother who's giving people shahadas.
What will this masjid lose after your departure?
How many hours, how many minutes per week
you volunteer in the masjid?
Someone else will do it.
And similarly, someone else will get the reward.
You are so big, you don't have the
time.
You're a big shot.
You don't have the time for half.
Last week I asked for one hour a
month.
A month.
To come and help outside in the pantry.
Because the brother, may Allah bless him and
reward him, he's been doing it for four
years.
He said, Sheikh, I just want one Saturday
off.
One hour a month.
This masjid and other masjids, they are all
running on the actions, may Allah bless, few
people.
And the rest, either they are not doing
anything or they are complaining.
What would your children say?
Would they be very happy that you departed?
Or, because he used to beat me all
the time, he used to yell every time
he comes inside the house.
Or, they are, subhanAllah, he used to bring
me to Fajr every day.
I missed him so much.
He's the one who taught me the Quran.
That's my father.
Ask yourself this question and let's fix them
before it's too late.
Let's fix them before it's too late.
My brothers and sisters, one wise man once
said, if you don't want to be forgotten,
then either write something worth reading, or do
something worth writing.
Your legacy is your story told in the
life of others.
Isa, peace be upon him, he said something
so beautiful in the Quran, وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ
مَا كُنتَ And I'm full of barakah wherever
I go.
I wish, wallahi, that I and you can
be full of barakah wherever we go.
Wherever we go, people look forward to see
us.
People know that by just being with him
or with her, I'm gonna benefit something.
I love their demeanor.
I love the way they treat others.
I love their smile.
مُبَارَك Every gathering, before the gathering is over,
brothers, sit down, I just want to remind
you of something.
كُتْحَدِيث Brothers, you know what?
Yesterday I found out that someone is sick.
يلا, let's go, let's go visit him.
Brothers, there's someone in the community that needs
really, really bad, he's in dire need to
pay his rent.
He's always مُبَارَك wherever they go.
This could be me and you also.
مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتَ May Allah put barakah
in all we do.
My brothers and sisters, this is the time,
if we want to leave something to be
remembered after we pass, this is the time.
We don't want to be from the people
after they are gone.
رَبِّ يَرْجِعُونَ Ya Allah, bring me back.
Ya Allah, if you bring me back, I'm
going to show you.
The masajid I'm going to build, the Islamic
school I'm going to support, the wells I'm
going to dig, Ya Allah, I'm going to
show you.
Just bring me back.
And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said in
surah al-an'am, to answer this person,
وَلَوْ رُدُّوا لَعَادُوا لِمَا نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَذِبُونَ
If I bring them back, he's the alim,
they're going to do the same exact thing
all over again.
They are liars.
Because me and you, we get fooled by
talk.
But he knows what's in here.
Bring me back, bring me back.
And then when they're back, Allah said, they
are liars.
They're going to do the same thing all
over again.
Maybe they will do it a day or
two, and then go back again.
I beg Allah azza wa jal to make
us mubarakeen, wherever we are.
I beg Allah azza wa jal to make
us from the people who leave something.
Ya akhwan, can you think, we always, if
someone stood up right now, and said, brothers
and sisters, I have an investment, Allahu akbar,
you put a dollar, it will give you
four, five hundred dollars, you cannot believe the
return.
We will rush.
And he guarantees it, and he brings lawyer
to sign for it, and we will rush
to invest.
Subhanallah.
This investment will stop after my death.
What about an investment that keeps giving till
the day of judgment?
Till the day of judgment.
I taught someone Quran, and then he taught
somebody, and that guy taught his kids, and
the kids taught the grandkids, and I'm dead.
And the hasanat are recurring.
Because of one amal salih, I built a
masjid, I dug well.
Subhanallah, there's so many opportunities that Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala gave us to invest, and
leave a legacy behind us.
Allahumma dammir a'da'ahum tadmeera.
Allahumma dammir'hum tadmeera.
Allahumma dammir'hum tadmeera.
Allahumma khudhum akhda'azizum muqtadir.
Allahumma aqith ikhwanana fi rubnan, wa fi sudan,
wa fi yaman, wa fi pakistan, wa fi
iraq, wa fi syria, wa fi kulli makan,
ya kareem, ya mannan.
Allahumma ya rabbal alameen, atina fil dunya hasana,
wa fil akhirati hasana, waqina athab al-nar.
Rabbana la tuzik qulubana ba'da idh hadaytana, wahab
lana min ladunka rahma, innaka anta al-wahab,
wa qumu ila salatikum.
Please come from the hallway in the two
rooms and fill up the main hall please.
Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar.
I bear witness that there is no god
but Allah.
I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger
of Allah.
Come to prayer, come to success.
Come to prayer, come to success.
Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar.
I bear witness that there is no god
but Allah.
Allahu akbar, alhamdulillahi

Allah Akbar Sami
'a Allah Liman Hamidah Assalamu
Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Insha
'Allah the Asr is in three minutes By
the time we are waiting for the Asr
Subhanallah Subhanallah it's very sad that many of
our youth are having doubt about their Deen
Sometimes they inform you and many times they
don't But Alhamdulillah at least they are trusting
the Shuyukh and they are coming and asking
them instead of asking strangers Questions Why did
Allah create the non-believers if he is
going to throw them in the * fire
anyway Why did Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam marry
a six year old Why did Rasulullah Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam copy the Quran from the previous
religions And many many other questions that they
have so much doubt And if you go
to the internet to get the answers you
not get the right answers So Insha'Allah
on December 14 I have invited some scholars
to tackle literally these questions And we are
going to send a survey to the community
That all the youth in the community will
send all their questions And then we will
pick 10-12 most common questions And we
will present them to the Shuyukh on December
14 So please mark this date and bring
your children Whether you think they have doubt
or not I was telling the brothers two
days ago that when I was in Hajj
A brother called me from the community and
he insisted He said no I have to
talk to you my son just left Islam
And Subhanallah like another brother told me He
said I would rather get a message that
my son died Than to get a message
that my son left Islam May Allah protect
all our children May Allah keep them steadfast
on their deen Always bring them to the
masajid Bring them to the classes, bring them
to the halaqas Even though maybe they do
not understand But trust me the environment itself
will help a lot And don't say oh
he is only 5, 6, 7, 8 Trust
me they start from that age When they
become older They will make dua for you
That you are the one who made them
from the people of the masajid Okay we
are going to change the mu'adhin Do
you want to make adhan?
His brother will make it inshallah
