Maryam Amir – Your secret Allah

This was nothing short of a sign from Allah. I went to a janazah of

a sister who was just 30 years old. She passed away in her sleep,

may Allah enter her into the highest paradise. Her janazah was

very sudden. No one was expecting it, and so when there was an

announcement made, she was very active in the community. And

everyone mashaAllah, everyone came, the entire parking area and

everywhere around it was completely packed. The Masjid also

announced that there was going to be another janazah. A father had

suddenly passed away. May Allah enter him, and this sister, and

all of our brothers and sisters in khazad and Sudan and all of those

who passed away into the highest paradise of ahrisami. This father

had just moved to the city. His wife, when he passed away, was

calling people because they knew literally no one. She had met,

like a couple of people at the masjid, and she was calling them

and asking them to call everyone else, asking for anyone to please

come to the janazah, because otherwise it would have just been

him on a random weekday in the middle of the day, and she was

worried that no one would attend, because no one knew him.

Subhanallah Allah had destined that this sister would pass away

in her sleep, a sister who knew everyone in the community. It was

written that they had two very different lives, very different

types of passing but Allah had written that they would be

preyed upon their janazah would be on the same day, at the same time,

in the same masjid. And for both of them, the Masjid was packed.

Allah knows what type of life they both lived to be honored in this

way, one in which a community came together to honor a sister who

they knew, and another in which Allah brought a community together

to honor a brother that they didn't know was a part of it. You

don't know what secrets people have with Allah, and you don't

know what secrets you might have with Allah.
