Alhamdulillah, had the honor of being in Medina for less than 24
hours a couple of weeks ago. And I want to share with you the
journey, because so many people wonder about getting there. This
is from the train station in Jeddah, going to Medina. It's
about a two hour ride, and prices vary, but you can get tickets for
around $35 going through the desert where the Hijra was made. I
kept thinking about how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi was sent
them, Abu Bakr Al yalahari and the companions of the Allahu Akbar
left everything behind so that they could go from Mecca to
Medina. And I kept thinking about how we can make Hijrah when we
leave everything behind that's not beloved to Allah anywhere we are
in the world. We took a bus from the train station to Mashad and
Nabawi. We arrived after salatul Jabbar. So you can see 1000s upon
1000s of people leaving mashira, Nabawi And subhanAllah, how the
Prophet, sallAllahu, alayhi wa salinam called every single person
his people to Allah. And now from all over the world, people answer.
People have answered and left everything behind to go and
worship Allah and the masjid of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam, to send Salawat on the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam. And of course, you can send Salawat to the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam from anywhere you are. So Allah Nabi Na
wa Habibi na Muhammad, I kept thinking about how accessible the
Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam was to every single person, the
compassion, the Mercy, the love O Allah take us there.
