Right before Ramadan, I went to the dentist, and my prayer app
went off, and then she told me about how she has a friend who's
Muslim, the only Muslim in their entire friend group, who will
always take the time to pray. When they rent a cabin, the friend will
go to another room and make sure to do their prayer. They've asked
so many questions to this friend about salah. When they're out to
dinner or in public, they'll help them find a place to pray, or they
will schedule their activities around salah, just to make sure
that this person prays on time. When the appointment was done, I
was thanking her, and then she asked me, Would you like to pray?
We have a room in the back that has never happened to me before in
any capacity. And she said to me, when I told her that that's a
problem, you should always have a place to pray. This is such a W
friend group, such a W dentist office, such a W person and such a
W Muslim for choosing to be intentional about salah so much so
that they don't even know it's impacting Muslims in other places.
This Ramadan, are you going to start being known as that one
friend, that one Muslim friend who prayed?
