Maryam Amir – Qualities of Manhood in Islam

four pillars, good character, generosity, humility and devotion.

forbearance in a time of anger and forgiveness in a time of power. Al

face. The second is loving kindness, and the third is

fulfilling the needs of others. Al fudil ibn iyel mentioned, whoever

has bad character has Dishonored his religion, his reputation and

his manhood. These scholars based their words on the example of the

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him who was the walking version of

the revelation of the Quran. He said, The Merciful will be shown

mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on earth and the

one in the heavens will have mercy on you. He was asked what Islam is

the best? And he said, to feed people and to greet people with

peace, those you know and those you don't know. He also said, the

strong are not the best wrestlers, verily, the strong are only those

who control themselves when they're angry. And in another

narration, he said, the stronger, not those who defeat people,

rather the stronger those who defeat their ego. That is the

example of the man who taught men that the best men are those who

are best to woman in.
