Maryam Amir – Allah listens

Particular dua for over 10 years. It's a very emotional dua, and I

constantly make it. I had the blessing of making a toaf a month

and a half ago where I spent the majority of this toaf making this

particular dua. And when I finished, I tried to go out of the

toaf area, but there were so many people pushing me in a particular

direction that I couldn't go the way I was planning, and instead, I

had to go a different direction. And in front of me, Subhan Allah,

I saw sister Naima, who had only met online, and Allahu Akbar, I

met her in person. In front of the Kaaba, she told me a little bit

about her life, and in her life story, do you know what she said?

Part of her story was literally the DUA that I have been making

for over 10 years. In that moment, I felt like, even if my dua has

not yet been answered, I know that Allah listens. If you've been

making a dua for a very long time, never give up hope it might not

come in the way you're asking. But he knows, and you never lose a

DUA.
