Maryam Amir – Allah is so gentle

This grandmother told me that every day she would take a walk on

a path that was overlooking the ocean and had apartment buildings,

and she would look at a particular one with a patio that had a chair,

and think she wished she could just sit there, drink some tea and

overlook the ocean. Today, she just made a very intense straw.

She was lonely. Her husband passed away. Only Allah enter him into

the highest paradise that he said, and all of her loved ones, Emmy.

So she just begged Allah for a friend. And the next week, she's

taking a walk on this path, and this woman makes a beeline to her.

She's never seen this woman before, and the woman starts

talking to her. They hit it off. And the woman is like, I never do

this, but do you want to come over? I live really close by. And

the grandmother is like, she never would say, No, I feel comfortable.

So okay, so they went to her apartment, and the woman invites

her to go out to the balcony. And she goes out to the balcony, and

she sees the same chair, and this woman brings her tea, and they sit

together drinking tea in the same chair that she always wished she

could sit in, overlooking the ocean. Sometimes you may not feel

like Allah is answering you, because you don't see the answer

in the really big but he knows what's right for you in the really

big and even in the small.
