When I had the blessing of being in Mecca with my family, we got
out of the taxi, my dad looked at my grandma and said, it would be
really helpful if we had a wheelchair. And within moments of
him making the statement, this young man runs up to us with a
wheelchair, drops it off and runs away. We're just shocked, and my
dad is calling out to him, like, Excuse me. Can we pay for this?
What do we do with this? Can we tip you? He's gone SubhanAllah.
Within moments of my dad making that statement, Allah had
literally brought us exactly what he asked for. Allah listens not
only to your DUA, but also to the needs of your heart, the wishes of
your heart. And I know that there are times that you wonder if he's
listening, but he promises that he does. Allah is generous and shy
that when you raise your hands to him, he is shy to allow those
hands to drop without giving you something. It might not be exactly
what you ask for, but he promises to answer. So have hope and keep
on asking. And PS, don't forget.
