Now I'll be someone to admit, I get
so confused between Aad, Thamud, Salih and Hud.
So we're gonna resolve everything today inshallah, jahazeen,
ready inshallah?
So let's explain.
Prophet Musa alayhi salam was sent to who?
Prophet Musa was sent to who?
Go ahead.
Try.
Close, close.
Bani Israel.
So Prophet Musa was sent to Bani Israel.
Fantastic.
What about Isa ibn Maryam?
Who was he sent to?
Go ahead.
Also Bani Israel, right?
All right.
Now, last one before I go to the
conclusion.
Who was Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sent
to?
Us?
Okay, dear boy.
Okay, may Allah bless you.
Who was Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sent
to?
Everyone.
Rahmatan lil'alameen.
Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was not sent
to a group of people or anything.
He was sent to all beings, ancient beings.
Not just us human beings, also the jinn.
Now the people of Thamud, Hud, Salih, Aad.
This is how we resolve it inshallah.
The ones that rhyme are not actually together.
So out of the four, Salih, Thamud, Aad,
Hud.
Which two rhyme?
Go ahead.
Masha'Allah alayka.
Allahumma barik.
Thamud and Hud, they rhyme.
So, you know, they're not together.
Khalas?
So this life was not meant to be
easy.
All right.
So Hud was not sent to Thamud, though
they rhyme.
Hud was sent to Aad, and Salih was
sent to Thamud.
Fantastic.
Now the people of Salih, where did they
live?
There's a whole chapter named after the location
of where they lived.
It's chapter 15.
Surat, excellent, Al-Hijr.
May Allah grant you Jannah.
Surat Al-Hijr.
Now, many people wonder why is Prophet Salih
and Prophet Hud not really mentioned in many
biblical resources, correct?
So the ones that know a little bit
of the Bible, you see about Zakariyya, you
see about Yaqub, you see about Yusuf, Joseph.
But why there's no Hud and there's no
Salih?
There's no Aad.
There's no Thamud.
Ibn Kathir, rahimahu Allah, he says they were
known to Bani Israel.
Oof.
They were known to the people of the
book.
Do we have evidence?
Yes, he gives you evidence from surah 14,
which is named after Prophet Ibrahim.
This one rhymes too bad.
So surah 14 is surah Ibrahim.
Allah says in the Quran,
And all people on earth want to disbelieve
in Allah, فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ They know
Allah doesn't need you.
Well, Allah is praiseworthy, whether you praise Him
or dispraise Him.
طيب, where's the ayah?
The next one.
أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ يَا جَمَعَة بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلٍ O children
of Israel, did you not hear the stories
of those who came before you?
قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودٍ So they clearly knew
the stories.
Why were they not documented?
Many reasons.
One of them, some of the ulema said,
because they were two of the very few
prophets that were Arab.
Right?
They were Arab.
And who were the four prophets the ulema
say were Arab?
Hud, Salih, Shu'aib, and Muhammad ﷺ.
And Allah knows best why other reasons.
Another thing you get confused, a book that
is claimed to be coming from Allah, right?
Where is the speech about hellfire?
كتاب سماوي ما فيه عقاب A book sent
from God, there's no details about hellfire and
the punishment and so on and so forth.
So that's something to appreciate the Quran that
we have and may Allah make us all
people of the Quran.
Say ameen.
All right, we move forward.
Now the people of Thamud, I'm going to
do this so I can see where I
am clicking.
And this was the ayah I referenced about
Prophet Musa ﷺ.
Now the people of Salih, what are they
called, people of Salih?
Thamud, we got that down, Thamud.
They were so so blessed, we'll share with
you a few blessings.
One of them is that they were the
next superpower after the people of Ad.
Superpower.
Allah ﷻ says in the Quran, وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ
جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ عَادِ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ
Allah made you be established on earth.
You were like the supreme power on earth.
Number two, they had a lot of resources.
Allah says, جَنَّاتَ You have so many gardens.
وَعُيُونَ And so many springs and waters.
وَزُرُوعَ And all the vegetation.
وَنَخَلَ And all the fruits and fresh high
quality dates.
Where is Al-Hijr?
Where is that location?
We said Al-Hijr, but where is Al
-Hijr?
Where is it?
Yes, you're very close.
It is between Madinah and Tabuk.
And the Prophet ﷺ in the ninth year
of Hijrah, he passed by that area.
Really he did?
Yes, he did.
And you know what happened?
In several authentic Ahadith, when Rasulullah ﷺ was
passing by the place, you know what is
it called today?
It's called Madain Saleh.
The dwellings of Saleh or the sites of
Saleh.
And some of the ruins are still there.
Some of the homes a little bit still
there.
So what did the Sahaba do?
And pay close attention, because this is a
very important lesson.
Some of us have never heard it before.
When Rasulullah ﷺ was passing in the ninth
year of Hijrah, some of the Sahaba, they
saw a well in that area.
Bi'r.
They got the water, and they filled their
jugs, and they cooked food with it for
themselves.
Includes like meat or so.
And for the cattle, Al-Ibl.
When the Prophet ﷺ, he saw them doing
that, what did he say?
Irhqu.
Throw away the water.
What?
Throw away the water and the food and
everything you cooked that water with.
I want you to keep in mind.
They're travelers, so they are exhausted.
They are travelers, so they are hungry.
They're travelers, so how much water do they
have?
Very limited.
As limited as it sounds, get rid of
all of it.
Why?
Rasulullah ﷺ, he says, whenever you pass by
a city that was punished by Allah, fear
that you may go through exactly what they
went through.
وَيُصِيبَكُمْ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ Except in one condition.
You want to go, you have to go
because that's a shortcut or so, no problem.
Islam is realistic.
Go back in.
Go in state of fear.
Go concerned that if I disobey to Allah,
I will go through this.
Go, you're worried.
I don't want to be of the kuffar.
Go, you're optimistic.
You want Allah's rahmah.
That's how you go.
Otherwise, you may face what they faced.
So the fact of going to these places
as means of vacation, tourism, in terms of
entertainment, that's not what the Prophet ﷺ is
teaching us.
Fair enough.
But some ulama said, there's one well only
that you can drink from in that area.
Only one well.
What's that well?
We'll continue and we'll mention that to you
inshallah.
So they were so blessed.
They had what?
Allah's power, resources, and what's the third one?
Any guess?
What do you mean guess?
There's so many other blessings.
Tell me one of the grandest blessings you
can ever be blessed with besides Islam.
One of the greatest blessings.
Go ahead.
Money.
May Allah grant it to you.
So they had money, resources, good job.
Resources, money, for sure.
Go ahead.
Jannah.
May Allah grant you Jannah.
Ahsanti.
But in dunya, before some of them went
there.
Go ahead.
Children.
MashaAllah.
A child saying children.
MashaAllah.
MashaAllah.
May Allah bless you.
May Allah make you such a blessing to
your parents.
Say ameen.
Wallahi sadaq.
A righteous child is one of the greatest.
Go ahead.
Health.
Super, super close.
Because health can be supreme power, strength, resources,
excellent.
Why am I taking my time?
For a reason.
Because once we mention it, we want to
all be grateful.
Last one.
Go ahead.
Life.
Ahsanti.
That's a pretty good point.
It is security, safety.
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Say Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
He says, من أصبح منكم.
Whoever wakes up.
You guys all woke up today, right?
I'll give you three things, three boxes.
Tell me how many of the three you
will check.
Bismillah.
Bismillah.
Whoever woke up in the morning, آمين في
صربه.
You feel safe.
You're not worried there might be an earthquake.
You're not worried someone may break into the
house.
You're not worried that, you know what, this
house may eventually someone come and, you know,
a police order that evacuates you and you're
wanted by the police for whatever reason.
آمين.
You woke up safe.
There's no fear.
You like that?
All of you like that, inshallah?
May Allah make it easier for all of
you.
Because not all can actually raise their hands
for this one, even in Dearborn.
Right?
Some people wake up scared.
May Allah make it easy for all of
us.
So if you are of those who can
check this box, الحمد لله.
Number two.
Then he says, مُعَافًا فِي جَسَدِه.
Healthy.
You woke up not having a migraine.
You woke up, you're able to walk and
talk, understand, comprehend, and move on to your
job and work.
الحمد لله.
مُعَافًا.
You checked the other box?
Many of us did.
Most.
الحمد لله.
What's the third one?
Third one.
عِندَهُ قُوتُ يَوْمِهِ.
You have food enough for how long?
A month?
A week?
For the day.
If you have food enough for the day
and you're healthy and you're safe, فَقَدْ حِيزَتْ
لَفِي جَسَدِهِ.
عِندَهُ الدُّنْيَا.
You basically own the world.
يعني meaning, what does it mean?
Whatever you don't have besides the three, you're
not missing out.
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ.
This is the نِعْمَة.
May Allah grant us wisdom.
يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ.
So may Allah allow us to be of
those who appreciate all these blessings.
Did they appreciate?
They didn't.
They didn't appreciate at all.
Look what Allah says about them.
استَكْبَرُوا.
Allah says فَارِهِينَ.
Wasteful.
Allah says مُسْرِفِينَ.
Transgressors.
Allah says مُفْسِدِينَ.
Corrupters.
Allah says They are liars.
Allah says لَا يُحِبُّونَ النَّاصِحِينَ.
لَا تُحِبُّونَ.
They are haters.
And number seven, they are what?
Disbelievers.
كُلْ هَذَا.
That's how evil they were.
They're so blessed and they did all of
that evil.
Arrogance.
They were a superpower.
But when you are rich, it doesn't mean
you look down upon people.
Rasulullah ﷺ, he said whoever has arrogance as
how much?
How big?
Atom weight of arrogance in their heart.
And you cannot see it with your eyes.
It has to have a microscope, right?
If you have that amount of arrogance in
your heart, you will not go to Jannah.
One of the Sahaba was nervous.
He doesn't know what he said to the
Prophet ﷺ.
He said, Rasulullah, arrogance and pride.
He said, Rasulullah, we like to wear nice
clothes.
We like to wear nice shoes.
What is the Prophet ﷺ saying?
إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَمِيلُ يُحِبُّ الْجَمَالِ Allah is beautiful.
He loves beauty.
So yes, keep doing that good stuff.
Wear nice clothes.
Wear clean clothes.
Fresh clothes.
No problem.
Then he explains.
He says, arrogance.
بَطْرُ الْحَقِّ وَغَمْطُ النَّاسِ It is rejecting the
truth.
Someone gives you a piece of advice.
You know they're right and you're like, whatever.
Mind your own business.
Don't talk to me.
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ Why?
هَذَا الْأَرِغَنْسِ That may take us to hellfire.
وَغَمْطُ النَّاسِ Looking down upon people.
Someone from that nation, I'm not going to
talk to.
Someone from that country, I'm not going to
listen to.
And these are not random examples.
I spoke to a brother one time about
a حَلَقَةَ that was taking place in a
masjid.
So then I told him, Shaykh, so and
so is coming.
He did not know him.
He asked me one question.
مِنْ أَيْ شُوَّةَ مِنْ أَيْ كُلْتْرَ What ethnicity?
So I said, he is from so and
so.
You think I'm going to tell you?
مَجْنُونْ أَنَا I'm not going to tell you.
I said he's from so and so place.
This is what he said.
He said, أَنَا You want me to learn
Islam from someone from that country?
والله العظيم Because where he's from?
Ta'barba his degrees and all that stuff.
Imagine, you know what he's saying?
I will not listen to Bukhari.
All the hadith nullified.
Why?
Because he's from Bukhara.
لَا حَوْلَ يَقْوَةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ May Allah grant
us hikmah and wisdom.
يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ So they were arrogant, rejecting
the truth.
And they were wasteful and transgressors.
الإصراف Especially us here.
We have an issue with israf.
Agreed, Shoaib?
In North America, in the West, Allah gave
us so much.
But we have the issue of israf.
Whether we eat or the way we drink.
And Allah has no problem with eating and
drinking.
Look what Allah says.
يَا بَنِي آدَمَ Listen, very nice.
Allah says, يَا بَنِي آدَمَ O children of
Adam.
Yes, Ya Allah.
خُذُوا ذِينَتَكُمْ Wear nice, clean clothes when you
go to the masjid.
Fantastic.
وَكُلُوا وَشْرَبُوا Eat and drink.
Then Allah says, وَلَا تُسْرِفُوا But don't go
beyond the limit.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ Allah doesn't like
those who are wasteful.
Allah doesn't like those who ruin things like
that.
Subhanallah.
So please, inshallah, something whether it comes for
food, for example.
Whatever you want to put in the plate,
keep in mind this is what you will
eat.
And I propose that rule.
Feel free to take it.
It's family by family.
Subjective.
I don't want no problems.
Okay?
I have a rule.
Whoever puts the food in the plate is
responsible for whatever remains behind.
What does that mean?
Let's say there's a child and the parent
wants to put food for them.
Look here, eat.
Then they eat halfway.
They're like, I'm done.
Why do you mean you're done?
Eat it.
You're the one who put the whole plate.
So the penalty is the one who poured
the food, eats it.
So now what did the parents say?
Nafsi, nafsi.
I'm not putting food for you.
So now the kids, they put their own
food and they know whatever I put, I
gotta eat.
I remember one time I was invited over
one of my teacher's homes.
May Allah bless him, Ya Rabb.
I went to his house.
Allahumma barik.
The amount of food he had was so
nice that I became disturbed.
Awwal marra.
I just so much.
I'm like, there's not that many people and
the food was all over.
How?
So then I'm like, he's a shaykh and
imam and knows the deen.
Like, unless he knows people, okay, but I'm
just confused.
Anyhow, we ate.
The food was remarkable.
After we were done, and I kid you
not, I was a little bit, it's in
my memory, the food upstairs, it was so
good.
I want to go for seconds.
I did.
Thirds.
It doesn't matter what happened after thirds, okay?
But there's still a lot of food.
And Subhanallah, may Allah grant him Jannah.
Allah taught me something so nice.
As everybody was leaving, him and his wife,
mostly his wife, not him, his wife, because
he was sitting with us, right, she packed
food for all those who stayed behind.
Subhanallah, it was all ready and packed up
and given to the friends.
Here we go, here we go, here we
go, and the food eventually was distributed among
all of us.
So no cooking the next day.
Allahu Akbar.
It's amazing, Subhanallah.
So he was able to show generosity and
he was able to go generosity without any
extravagance and wasteful food.
Allahu Akbar.
So may Allah grant us Jannah.
Ya Rabbal Alameen.
These people didn't care.
Every limit Allah put, go beyond it and
cross it.
And they were corrupters.
And he missed facet.
Facet is what?
What's facet?
Corrupted.
Humma mufsideen.
What does it mean?
And they are corrupted and they are spreading
corruption.
And you have, for example, may Allah make
it easy for all of you.
Someone has a drinking problem.
Mashing, a drinking problem.
Why would you go to someone and take
a sip?
This is your problem.
Why are you sharing it?
Right?
You're getting the hookah.
You get the hookah.
Mashing, and you go to someone else's house.
The guy doesn't smoke and even if he
does, why contribute to that?
Right?
And they hate anyone who gives them advice.
La yuhibboon nasihin.
You correct me, he hates you immediately and
the worst of all, kafa rabba.
They have no respect to Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
Does this sound a little bit similar to
those that attended the last session?
Very similar.
But you know what's the difference?
These people are a lot worse, are a
lot worse than the people of Aad.
May Allah protect us.
How?
You will see shortly.
So what happened?
Are they evil?
Will you guys say they're pretty evil like
out of 10?
10 out of 10.
As evil as they were, Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala still gave them a chance.
Allah from his rahma, he sent them a
prophet.
wa ila thamud akhahum saliha.
Allah sent them a prophet.
So what do I take from it?
People are as evil as thamud.
Allah gave them a chance.
Why should we give up on each other?
I'll give you one chance.
Give at least one chance.
Why that one chance at least?
Why?
For your sake, not for their sake.
What do you mean?
I'm confused.
Because if you don't give them that one
chance, they may see you yawm al qiyamah,
the day of judgment and say, Ya Allah,
they didn't tell me.
I was doing the wrong right in front
of her all these years.
She never opened up her mouth and corrected
the way I was making wudu.
Then you're like, Oh, I was so shy
to tell her.
Shyness in this case will not benefit you.
So at least one time, correct the person,
especially if it's a correction that is needed,
that is urgent and so on and so
forth.
May Allah not make us be faced by
the people we did not advise.
Ya Rabb, may Allah make it easy for
us.
Ya Rabb al alameen.
So Allah is giving them that chance, which
is called as iqamatul hujjah, leaving no excuse
behind.
Now, who is that prophet?
Salih alayhis salam.
He was from among them.
What did he say?
Ya qawmi.
What does ya qawmi mean?
My people.
But how do you out of respect and
love?
Ya qawmi, my people.
You know when you say that's my people?
I remember one time there was a guy
next to him with his cousin.
So this cousin was no good.
Okay?
No good.
So then the person was saying who are
you guys?
So, let's say for example my name is
Ahmad and his name is Abbas.
Okay?
But usually what do you say?
This is my cousin Abbas.
But he didn't want to associate.
But you have nothing to do with him.
I don't want to.
So this Abbas, he says, by the way,
I'm his cousin.
Alhamdulillah.
Right?
So Salih is trying to be as perfectly
respectful as possible.
He could have said ya kathabeen, ya liars.
It's there.
He could have said ya mutakabeen, ya arrogant
people.
It's there.
He could have said you losers.
It's there.
But he says, ya qawmi, my people.
I'm one of you.
Allahu Akbar.
Adab, wa ihtiram, and respect.
So be very, very careful.
Especially if you're into calling people to Allah,
the noblest job.
And one time, I remember one of the
teachers.
Subhanallah, we slip sometimes.
We all make mistakes.
Right?
Don't cancel him over this.
Relax.
He's like, what's up with some of the
sisters?
He's like, she put her hair in the
blender.
So she had an abdu and she came
to a lecture.
Do you think the sister who has the
abdu, who you said, why you put your
hair in the blender?
She's like, wallah, you touched my heart?
She's like, I'm walking out and put the
blender in your head.
Okay.
So you have to be very careful, subhanallah.
People get so excited and things of that
sort.
May Allah grant us wisdom.
So he says, ya qawmi, my people.
What is he going to say?
Out of everything they did, I shared with
you seven.
I shared with you how many?
I told you arrogant.
I told you liars.
I told you kada, kada, kada.
Out of everything they did, what will he
address first?
Here, undak.
Right?
Worship Allah.
Hada ahamshi.
You want to talk to someone about Islam?
Number one, Allah.
The existence of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
The power of Allah.
Allah's capabilities.
Allah's mercy.
That's what you talk about Allah.
Once you agree on that, you move to
A, B, C, D, whatever, all the letters
in the world.
Fair enough?
I'm telling you, it might sound rude, but
I'm telling you, inshallah, it's sometimes not worth
going to the branches of Islam until you
establish this first.
Not everybody has a lot of time.
They ask you, for example, there's a very
good question.
A person was asked a very good question.
He says, you guys believe Quran came from
God.
This was this week.
That's true.
Sah?
Yes.
He said, isn't it not true that some
verses which you all agree are from God,
there's no difference of opinion, we said yes,
not I, but someone else.
He said, why are there different interpretations?
This is what he said.
Now, if he was Muslim, we would talk
more.
But he does not believe Quran is from
Allah.
Why waste his time and my time?
So let me go back to tell you
who is the one who sent it, his
wisdom, his capabilities and so on.
Then I go to that.
You guys agree with me?
Just out of curiosity, anyone disagrees?
Who would dare disagree?
And for you to disagree, raise your hand,
may Allah grant you Jannah.
Say Ameen.
By the way, you can disagree, it's not
black and white.
So he says, عُبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ
إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ Then he says, هُوَ أَنْشَأَكُمْ مِنَ
الْأَرْضِ وَاسْتَعْمَرَكُمْ فِيهَا Allah says to them, through
Salih Alayhissalam, teaches them, you came from Earth.
What was your beginning?
Remember where you came from?
Then he says, وَاسْتَعْمَرَكُمْ فِيهَا So remember where
you came from and remember where you're at
today.
Everyone here, wherever you are today is because
of Allah.
You think you came to this venue because
you're righteous?
You actually thought that?
You thought I'm giving this talk because I'm
righteous?
That's the reason?
لا مُشْتَحِين Who guided us to here?
What did the Prophet ﷺ say in Al
-Khandaq?
He says, لَوْ لَا اللَّهَ مَا احْتَدَيْنَ مَا
احْتَدَيْنَ Muhammad ﷺ says, لَوْ لَا اللَّهَ If
it was not for Allah, we would have
never been guided.
That's the Prophet saying that.
Without Allah, you would have never showed up
here.
Without Allah, I could not even put a
sentence together.
So when we think of this, what happens?
We're humble, right?
استَعْمَرَكُمْ فِيهَا Then فَاسْتَغْفِرُوا Since He created you
from earth, since you are successful in dunya,
then seek the forgiveness of the one who
gave that to you.
وَثُمَّ تُوبُوا إِلَيْهِ Then return back to Allah.
إِنَّ رَبِّي قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبٌ Allah is what?
Close and responsive to your supplications.
As bad as you may seem, what people
say about you, when it comes to Allah,
there's an open door policy.
You can always go back to Allah.
He's saying that to the people that did
all that evil.
What about you and I?
Correct?
May Allah protect us.
So don't give up on Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
After knowing Allah gave these people a chance.
Don't ever lose hope.
May Allah grant us hope that is wise
in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Say ameen.
قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبٌ You see these two names in
the Quran often.
Give me one ayah where قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبٌ besides
this one is in the Quran.
These two names, close, responsive.
These are two names of Allah.
Where do you find them as well in
the Quran?
Go ahead.
The next word.
أَحْسَنْتُ May Allah bless you and may Allah
make you near to him and respond to
all your du'a.
Say ameen.
I should have raised my hand.
اِرَاحَتْ عَلَيْهِ Right?
May Allah bless her.
Say ameen to her family.
So Allah says to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam, when they ask you about me, about
Allah, Allah is so close he does not
tell the Prophet tell them I am near.
Allah cuts that.
If you put this in your English essay,
the teacher will take a mark off.
Because you're supposed to say, generally, then tell
them I am near.
No, Allah takes that portion off.
He's so near, he does not tell the
Prophet to tell you.
He does not tell Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam to tell you.
فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبٌ I'm near and I respond.
What do you benefit in knowing that Allah
is near?
Allah could have said I respond.
Why the name near?
What do you guys think?
What does it make a difference?
If Allah says I respond, but this time,
the other time, he puts these names together.
قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبٌ قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبٌ What do you benefit
that he's near?
Go ahead.
The conversation, right?
You need to know that he's so close
to you, that he hears you.
And you know what do you benefit with
قَرِيبٌ?
When you know Allah is قَرِيبٌ, that means
he knows everything about you.
He knows everything.
So sometimes, when there's someone who doesn't know
much about you, you get shy.
But the one who knows everything about you,
you're very relaxed with them.
So some people, for example, they say, can
I make dua for like Jannatul Fardowsiya?
Of course.
There's other things they want to ask.
Can I make dua for the Samsung 23
Ultra?
They would never probably ask this question.
I had one person ask me this question.
It was on Facebook.
Even though he saw me, but he's like
an unknown name.
Can I make dua for a phone?
Because he's embarrassed.
Allah is قَرِيبٌ, he already knows what you
want.
So the fact that he's قَرِيبٌ should make
you comfortable to ask whatever you want.
يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ TV plasma 64 inch for
the Super Bowl.
يَا رَبَّ You see, you guys laughed.
Allah SWT hears and he already knows what
the person wants.
May Allah grant us Jannah and protect us
from the Super Bowl.
Anyway, let's move on.
And now I'm in trouble again for the
Super Bowl comments.
So when Salih alayhi salam, he spoke to
them, he said, إِنَّ رَبِّي قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبٌ What
was the response?
Do you think they were positive or negative?
Respectful, there's a chance for you.
Don't lose hope in Allah SWT.
Allah is always there for you.
Seek Allah's forgiveness.
Because when you seek Allah's forgiveness, Allah will
give you more.
Yes or no?
Allah will give you more.
Don't think if you become more Muslim, practicing,
you will lose the blessings.
لا فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُ رَبَّكُمْ One scholar had a
person walk in.
This scholar had a partner.
When that person walked in to that circle,
he asked the sheikh, يَا إِمَامَ I have
an issue in terms of wealth.
I don't have money and I really want
any advice, any dua.
So he told them, ask Allah to forgive
you.
يَا إِمَامَ Okay.
So the guy, the partner is like, okay.
Take notes down from the sheikh.
Another person came in.
He said, Oh sheikh, I have a problem.
What's the problem?
You know, I've been trying for the longest
time to have a kid, a child, and
it's not been working.
Any advice?
He said, يَا إِمَامَ I pray to Allah
personally to grant all of you righteous children.
يَا إِمَامَ Then another person came.
يَا إِمَامَ Oh sheikh, I have a problem.
What's your problem?
I need it to rain.
I've got a farm business.
I've got cattle.
I need some water.
We don't have rivers here.
So he said, just say, استغفر الله استغفر
الله استغفر الله.
Then he walked out.
The guy sitting next to him is like,
This is plagiarism.
Copy-paste.
He's like, the guy asked for children, استغفر
الله.
Once rain, استغفر الله.
Once money, استغفر الله.
How?
On what basis?
He says, Allah says in the Qur'an,
فَقُلْتُ اِسْتَغْفِرُ رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًۭا Allah says
in the Qur'an, saying استغفر الله.
What happens?
يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًۭا If you say استغفر
الله, Allah will make it rain.
That means, relax, part of the reason there's
drought in some areas, one of the possible
reasons is the lack of استغفار.
The excess in sinning and no repentance.
So Allah stops the rain from coming down.
That's why when the Dajjal is about to
come, the year he's about to come, not
a single drop of rain will come on
earth.
So people will actually start dying.
That's how bad.
And when the Dajjal comes, it's like almost
the peak of what sin and so on.
بَلْحَمْدُ اللَّهِ مَهْدِينُ But they all go into
a lot of details.
So the rain will come down.
استغفار.
Then what next?
يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًۭا وَيَمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ You want
cash?
Cash, not even credit cards, cash.
أَمْوَال Jewelry, gifts, gold, silver and so on.
استغفار.
And the last one وَبَنِينَ And children.
May Allah grant all righteous children halal wealth
and rain.
يَرَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ So here, when he said that
to them, what did they respond?
قَالُوا يَا صَالِحَ لَا لَا لَا لَا لَا
What is this nonsense?
He says قَدْ كُنْتَ ثِينًا مَرْجُوًا قَبْلَ هَذَا
We had good thoughts of you.
You were cool and everything.
What happened to you now, becoming all religious?
No!
We used to come to you and want
advice.
We used to think you're such a good
person.
In one narration it says they were even
going to elect him to be their leader.
لا لا لا You're very disappointed.
Why they're so disappointed?
What's the sin he made?
What's the مصيبة he did that he's disappointing?
What was it?
Read it.
أَتَنْهَانَ أَنْ نَعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا You're telling
us not to worship the gods, our parents.
Our parents used to worship.
لا وَإِنَّنَا لا في شَكٍ مِمَّا تَدْعُونَ إِلَيه
مُرِيد.
And we even doubt what you're saying to
begin with.
No, we can't accept this.
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ This whole time they never criticized
him.
He never worshipped idols, but the moment they
start giving advice, correction.
No, it's more like a party party pooper.
صح؟
أنت تخرب.
You ruined the event.
Oh, here's the shaykh.
خلاص.
Turn off the TV.
You see these jokes?
You know what happens, right?
And then like, don't invite that.
That sister, اسحب.
We start talking, and that sister says, جماعة,
this is bad biting.
Right?
Before that, she was cool and everything.
On a Super Bowl party, don't forward the
WhatsApp to this brother.
This brother comes in, guys, let's do a
حلقة in the halftime, so انشلوا الحلقة.
Cadillac is spending two million dollars on an
advertisement to pass it, to hear your حلقة.
You see what I'm saying?
هذو الناس خلاص.
قد كنت مرجون.
You used to, كفينة مرجون, used to have
hopes.
No, not anymore.
May Allah protect us, يا رب العالمين.
You know, this can happen even in the
workplace.
I remember one of the jobs I had,
the manager asked me to come to a
meeting, one-on-one.
And when it's not scheduled like that, we
can get nervous sometimes, right?
Like, why is this urgent, immediate meeting?
So I sat into the meeting with that
manager, and they told me, listen, I was
a contractor.
There's a difference between contract and direct hire.
Anyhow, so I was a contractor looking to
get a direct hire from the company.
And that manager told me, we want you
to eventually grow in the company, become a
direct hire, give you a raise, all the
good stuff.
What's the problem?
They mentioned to me my lack of physical
contact with women.
What do you mean?
Like, you really avoid handshakes, you act awkward,
like, I got a laptop, I do all...
Because I actually did that, right?
Sorry.
Why did you bring the laptop to the
meeting?
You don't need a laptop.
But you do everything, right?
You wear a mask sometimes, whatever it takes.
So then I said, well, this is part
of my faith, and so on and so
forth.
Then she told me, listen, I'm going to
be very transparent with you.
By the way, she can get in trouble
for what she said.
She can get in big trouble.
I respect her honesty.
She said, the way you're behaving and you're
committed to your religion, it may hinder your
process or progress in growing in the company.
This is, subhanAllah, at a baby scale, to
what is told Salih, right?
And to what you're being told, and what
you're being told at university, at work, this
and that.
You have to go to the happy hour.
Come on, don't be the guy who does
not show up to the 34 members meeting
after work.
No, it's okay.
It's my deen.
I don't want to be in the area
of alcohol, for example, right?
So that pressure came.
SubhanAllah, I was hesitant.
Do I share this with you or not?
Because I made a big mistake.
I made a big mistake.
I tried to use logic.
So I said, you know, I don't maybe
hug, or hi, whatever, Jessica, whatever her name
is.
Anyways, but then I said, well, there are
germophobes.
Why don't you talk to them?
So I was blind for a second.
She said, Majid, germophobes are not gender-biased.
And they'll say, oh, it's all men and
women.
What you're doing, Majid, she said, you're doing,
you're strictly avoiding handshakes, hugs, and whatever the
case is with women.
And I'm like, that's when you use logic.
Sometimes you think you're smart, and then we
got cornered.
So what do we say next time?
Allah said so.
Because Rasulullah it was said about in an
authentic hadith, He never touched a woman that
was not halal for him to touch.
On a good note, Allah is my witness.
Literally, few weeks after that meeting.
Do you think I started shaking hands?
May Allah make it easy for us.
Right?
So then, right after this meeting, a few
weeks later, it was tough, it was a
fitna to me.
I had one child, second one actually, second
one came.
And I'm thinking of that, I want to
grow and have a direct position.
Because contractor, you can leave any moment.
Allah is my witness.
Allah sent a contract from another company.
And what do we usually do if you
love the original company?
You show them the contract so they can
match.
So I got the contract, I threw in
a number for the salary, and they accepted.
Allahu Akbar!
It's not that crazy, relax.
Especially if you're a physician, ana miskeen.
Aqbal zakah from you, maybe, right?
May Allah bless all physicians, say ameen.
And businessmen, and women.
Relax.
Okay?
So then the contract came, I told my
manager, I got this job offer, I think
I'm going to have to accept it, I'll
give you respectfully two week notice, don't do
brother, sister, don't do this whole thing, I'll
leave the next thing.
Case by case, but avoid that.
So she said, no, no, we want you.
Aha, now you want me.
Right?
She said, no, we want you.
Share the contract with us, we'll take you
to HR, we'll match the offer.
I'm like, I don't know if you can
match it.
She's like, what do you mean?
Show me the contract, what was it?
So I showed it.
He's like, oh my god, that's like more
than me.
Because the Razzaq is not hers, it's Allah.
Right?
So then she said, you know what, I'll
still try.
She went to HR, they said, khalli.
We can't match this, right?
So eventually, Alhamdulillah, moved on, and so on
and so forth.
So the test comes, sometimes I fail, sometimes
I pass.
May Allah make us all pass, and if
we fail, may Allah make us all repent.
So eventually, he said, Now when they said
that to him, Salih alayhi salam is about
to explain himself.
Let me explain myself a little bit.
Three parts to it.
Ready?
How many?
Three parts.
Number one, he wants to explain him and
his personality.
He says, ...
I'm a trustworthy person.
You guys always knew.
I never lied to you.
All my life.
He's been with them for decades.
Never betrayed them.
Never lied once.
Absolutely kept every promise.
...
Fear Allah and listen to me.
Then he says, Why do you guys doubt
me?
Like we doubt you're even saying the truth.
I'm not asking for money.
Did I ask you for membership fees?
Did I ask you for this?
Did I ask you if I tell you
this, you pay me that?
Because in his case, the prophet, ...
The one who's going to pay me is
Allah, the Lord of all beings.
What's he going to do next?
Remind them of their blessings.
He says, ask for you ...
Do you guys think you have all this
forever?
Do you not think you guys are so
rich?
You have the vehicles.
You have the homes.
You have the big families.
All the good stuff.
Okay.
God bless you.
All right.
But do you think you will not be
held accountable for whatever Allah has given you?
...
You have gardens.
You have water.
You have palm trees.
Not just that.
You guys are not thinking of accountability.
In addition, you're going above and beyond.
He says, ...
...
And you guys are just so wasteful that
you start carving homes in mountains.
Do you know how bored you have to
be?
Right?
There's not ...
means ...
as well.
They're very exceptionally artistic.
But ...
also means wastefulness.
And if it was danger because of certain
thunderstorms, carve a house in the mountains.
Sure, live in there forever.
Doesn't matter.
But they're doing it out of just wastefulness.
How much time does that take?
I'm going to have this ceramic from Italy
on my kitchen.
...
No hating.
...
but if this is coming at the expense
of missing your salah, a brother gets a
phone call, he's like no I'm gonna miss
Jumaa, why?
because the phone calls from Italy now we're
having issues, you see what's happening?
enjoy your time, get that tile from Italy,
no hard feelings but not at the expense
of your religion, fair enough?
so he says all these things, you're gonna
be held accountable, do you guys hold yourself
accountable sometimes?
how does it feel?
how does that feel when you get on
a Sunday or however you program it, your
phone usage increased by six hours 31 minutes,
right?
the phones want to hold you accountable, right?
and the steps, today you walked 66 steps
out of 10,000, you see the accountability
and you're like I gotta better myself, we
do all that good stuff, keep it up
what about the deen?
do you look back?
I missed Hajar today, I cannot miss Hajar
tomorrow, hold yourself accountable, I gotta sleep early,
every time I hang out with these people,
we have dinner, I order extra food, I
have food coma and then I stay up
to digest, to trick myself, I don't want
to sleep right after I eat, so I
stay up three hours to feel good, so
then I miss Hajar, we go through that,
that's why the example is so real, right?
so all these things are happening, so you
hold yourself accountable, you try to sleep early
and you wake up for Hajar, may Allah
make it easy for all of us, think,
think, I remember when I moved to the
new job, when I moved to the new
job, a guy's name is Alan, he's like
imagine, I encourage you to put a percentage
of your salary into the 401k, I'm like
tell me more about 401k, as Muslims you
get nervous, 401k haram and all that stuff,
relax, right?
so he says listen, 401k you put in
your money, then the company matches up to
4% or whatever the case is and
this is for your retirement plan, okay tell
me more, so basically you cannot, any technically,
pull money out of the 401k until you
retire, if you pull that before retirement, they
take from you 20% taxes and 10
% withdrawal fee, 30% it's a lot,
so he said yeah you take it till
when you retire, so I told Alan, Alan
is a very old guy, okay, I'm coming
in I was like the youngest person in
the whole department at that time, and yeah
so then I told him that Alan, 63,
retirement age and so on, it's a long
way, why not enjoy it now, that's what
I told him, I'd rather enjoy it now
instead of me putting it into the account
and making it grow until I'm 60 plus
which there's a, I'm not sure the chances
of me living till then, he said oh
don't say that man, I promise it'll pay
off, now Alan is about to retire this
year, right?
may Allah grant him guidance, see what I
mean, so then my manager comes, his name
is Paul, he's like imagine, I asked him
what about 401k, what do you think, he's
like I recommend for you put the maximum
amount, and this is not the highest I
would share with you guys, right, depending on
your case, he said put the maximum amount,
at that time was 18%, so 18%
of your salary, put it in the 401k,
I was nervous, I'm sorry, right, because all
people get able to retire any minute, I
still have a long way ahead, inshallah, so
anyhow eventually I listened to them, I increased
the percentage down the road and subhanAllah what
they did was what we need to do
with Yawmul Qiyamah, when I was preparing this
I never thought about it until this lecture,
this lecture, I'm like this was his akhirah,
their 401k is their akhirah, prepare, right, you
sacrifice, you have to put money from take
from the paycheck, don't enjoy it now, enjoy
it later, it's all about the ending, this
is akhirah, Allahu Akbar, so we had to
learn from Alan and Paul, right, so what
we do, we want, رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا
حَزَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَزَنَةً so I put 18
% and I'm looking for akhirah inshallah, may
Allah make it easy for all of us,
say ameen, but may Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala allow us to invest in which is
halal, ya rab, so the point being here
is that you have the aspect of accountability,
you know in several narrations, do you know
what was the last thing Umar al-Khattab
was thinking of when he died, Umar al
-Khattab رضي الله عنه and inshallah there's a
lecture coming up by the ICD next Friday
inshallah, Sheikh Michael Smith about Umar bin Khattab
رضي الله عنه, so Umar al-Khattab رضي
الله عنه as many of you perhaps know,
he had a beautiful sad ending يعني he
was martyred رضي الله عنه and he was
stabbed by a hypocrite, right أبو لؤلوة so
when he was dying and without being very
descriptive and the blood was coming from his
stomach and so on, when he drinks milk,
it actually comes out from the stomach, that's
how much it was torn and he was
having his head on whose thigh his son,
what was his name, the very famous son,
Abdullah bin Umar, when Abdullah bin Umar Umar's
son was having Umar's head here, it was
very devastating news and people are seeing and
who walked in, Uthman bin Affan, Uthman bin
Affan he says I was there the last
moments of Umar, he said when I walked
in Umar رضي الله عنه eventually tells his
son and he's in and out you know
in terms of conscious, so he says put
my cheek on the floor, like move the
thigh, put my face on the floor so
Ibn Umar tells him like the ground or
my thigh, like what's the difference, stay here
خلاص, then he says put my cheek and
my face on the floor and you lose
your mind, which is an attribution, just listen
to me, put my face on the floor,
puts his face on the ground, then he
says وَيْلُنْ لِي وَوَيْلُ أُمِّي إِنْ لَمْ يَغْفِرُ
اللَّهُ لِي woe to me and how sad
is it for my mom to know and
how devastating it is to Allah, to me
in front of Allah, if Allah does not
forgive me وَيْلُنْ لِي وَوَيْلُنْ لِي أُمِّي إِنْ
لَمْ يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لِي إِنْ لَمْ يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ
لِي because he became Muslim when he was
about 36 years old so he had a
lot of Kufr and Shirk pre-Islam, he
wants Allah's forgiveness and throughout Islam we all
make mistakes and he passed away having the
accountability being prepared for Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
How is our situation?
Allah says Allah says you're hearing, your sight,
your heart Allah will ask you what did
you hear?
Allah will ask you will you watch?
Allah will ask your heart who do you
love and who do you hate?
Yes, what you love and what you hate
you will be held accountable for.
Just like if you love the prophet you'll
be with him, if you love the wicked
and evil Allah knows what will happen to
you and I, right?
So keep that in mind and Rasulullah sallallahu
alayhi wasallam when he speaks about all these
beautiful things one time a man went to
al-akhirah then Allah tells this man he
was a very evil man so Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala basically presented the books the
book of deeds right so this man he
says ya Allah no no no no no
I can't accept whatever is written about me
do you not say oppression is prohibited on
you?
Allah says yes so the man says I
want to be my own witness let me
tell you what I did don't let people
tell you what I did I want to
speak on my own self about my own
self so very rude guy right very rude
so Allah says go ahead and speak so
while he wants to speak so basically what
happened?
Allah has sealed their mouth but how is
that fair?
Allah says we zip their mouth and then
the hands start to speak ya Allah he
touched this and he's going crazy and he
clicked on that and he sent that message
and he struck that person bullied them then
who speaks?
the legs and he walked there ya Allah
the speech speaks and he's going crazy I
can't do anything about it and he did
this with me Allah then once everything was
done Allah unzips what was the first thing
he says shame on you you're losers losers
don't challenge Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so
then he told the whole story right told
us the whole story then he says shame
on all of you for you I was
fighting for your sake and now look where
we're all gonna go which is hellfire may
Allah protect us so hold yourself accountable before
it is too late may Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala make it easy for all of
us and what's number three number three is
a bit risky he warned them how he
says he says to the people he's giving
a talk and then he says do not
obey the transgressors the evildoers the ones that
are pushing you away then he elaborates the
ones who spread corruption on and they do
not want any khair they don't want any
good not an ounce of goodness in them
these people avoid them now this is sensitive
but sometimes we have to do it correct
and by by the way people of the
mood the elite got so angry you're telling
people not to walk with us not to
hang out with us and sometimes you have
to say what salih said you agree with
me I remember in one masjid there was
one brother walking with the other brother one
of them is known to be a big
time troublemaker so he's walking with another guy
who was a good brother and I was
like man he's walking with him he's hanging
out hey look take me there take me
here but then this good brother is starting
to get affected badly and I felt mad
you gotta say something do I talk to
his parents do I talk to him I
said amen I have kids they will eventually
get older inshallah they might befriend bad people
so I want someone to tell my daughter
don't be you know what I mean so
I told the the guy who I saw
to be good so I said listen I'm
telling you I thought a lot about this
but I'm going to tell you because I
care about you and I love you okay
do not walk with this man again just
don't hang out with him he's like really
I'm like trust me I know him very
well you probably saw what he's doing anyway
just just don't hang out with him he's
like okay and he took my advice sincerely
apparently and he stopped hanging out with him
now what happened the guy now is asking
him how come you're not coming how come
you're not walking and hanging out with me
so he's like I don't worry he's like
no no what happened he's like a brother
magic told me brother magic told you right
just I don't know anything don't lie brother
magic told me so what happened this guy
he's a lot younger than me he came
right in my face he's like this did
you tell him not to hang out with
me I'm like I'm your best friend all
right this was many many years ago now
we're different we're older right so I told
him listen okay there might be good in
you there might be good in him okay
but your combination it does not work okay
I'm just separating both of you both of
you can be fine separately but when you
get together it's like a problem happens subhanallah
about 10 years later the man who I
advised and he was upset that I cannot
criticize him like your behavior is not the
best 10 years later he's married with children
and he is the one who reaches out
to me the most of the people that
attended that time allahu akbar and you know
as hard as it sound the advice I
gave him and I was kind of like
you know you guys together it's not good
wallah he says jazakallah khair subhanallah so inshallah
eventually people will come to the parents that
have problems with their children and so on
as they get older like you know what
mama baba you're the best I'm so sorry
for the hardship I caused you you taught
me well may Allah make it easy for
all of us and yes I do have
bad stories as well of people that never
came back or maybe they were good and
then they moved out away from the deen
so anyhow so he warned them then what
happened do you guys believe that uh people
believed or no we think all disbelieved okay
I have a question for you who believed
among samud who believed let's ask a question
a little or a lot little or a
lot little uh rich or the poor the
fishway rich no some of the rich believed
but the majority where the next slide the
poor yes and this is the sunnah of
allah on earth subhanallah in authentic narration what
happened heraclius the roman empire the leader of
it he says the weak people are the
major following of the prophets usually they're the
ones who follow muhammad and the prophets that
were sent but I want to ask you
a question why is that the case why
do you think the majority of the people
that accept islam muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
why are they of the poor and weak
why what do you guys think help me
go ahead the rich were arrogant corrected arrogance
reject the truth excellent but what else what
do you think you know this is you
really have to think of it but yeah
so islam promotes humbleness you know some sense
of equality in certain things right paying zakah
if you're not qualified you have to be
demoted someone else is qualified it's not about
money right and so on and so forth
last one last one go ahead what is
it hope oh mashallah very very very well
said hope right because the poor people they
have been oppressed for the longest time and
then there's someone that may bring them the
rights back and made them feel they're human
beings made them feel they're valuable made them
feel i'm not okay to be stepped upon
so they listen and they respect that's why
we have to keep this in mind that's
the way the world works subhanallah so when
people who come to islam they do not
criticize them oh here comes another no people
do that that's unacceptable right look at what
he's wearing that's the majority of the followers
of the religion they feel no hope anywhere
in the world they saw hope in islam
i am valued though i'm poor i'm valued
though i may not be as attractive i'm
valued though my net minus i'm valued in
this religion i love it so you have
to be very respectful towards that as an
authentic narration now allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala he
says that when these weak people accepted islam
do you think it was easy to mention
it no it's very hard because they work
for these elites they work for the leaders
look what allah says there was a face
-off allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala says in the
quran now they're what the leaders they're like
i feel iman islam entered your heart and
now they want to tell them and ask
him a question ready do you want to
confirm that did you really become muslim look
what happened allah says do
you guys really believe that salih is a
messenger from god what did they reply focus
i shouldn't appreciate the quran as much as
you can they asked they asked do you
believe salih is a prophet what would the
answer be yes we believe salih is a
prophet their belief was so strong their fear
was completely gone and i want you to
imagine the ones speaking may lose their job
because they work for these people so they
don't say yes salih is a what did
they say we believe everything salih says yes
he's a prophet prophet and every word he
says we will follow and believe what kind
of iman what kind of confidence may allah
grant us such confidence say ameen unbelievable may
allah make us proud of our religion because
they come to know they heard allah is
one who provides they heard salih was always
a good guy never lied about dollars never
lied about food never lied about anything he's
gonna lie about god no way he says
that which is the truth respectful man it's
right these people are arrogant that's why he's
saying he's standing up for us and salih
was actually from the very respected people so
all that impacted them so they so strong
so if they did not fear thamud you
and i should not fear those who hate
islam especially that we have a lot more
rights than these weak people may allah make
it easier for all of us fear it's
okay but not the fear to the extent
that puts you away from the religion we
want this we want this confidence like khaled
bin walid he writes a letter to who
he writes a letter to the leader the
king of biladi faris the king of the
persian empire look to what he says he
says if you guys want to fight khaled
the sword of allah says if you want
to fight then i'm coming with people i'm
coming with people that love death the way
you love life and how can you fight
these people and it's okay just kill yourself
no that's haram i want to be killed
by you killing me as a cat like
i'm looking forward like come on man do
a better job right they want to be
shuhada and martyrs how can you beat these
people unbelievable jabir his father when he was
uh he was martyred in the battle of
what uhud so allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala revealed
something to the prophet this is authentic hadith
so the father of jabir when he passed
away in the battle of uhud jabir was
so what sad my father died so the
prophet said yeah jabir why you're sad let
me tell you something allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala
spoke to your dad without any deal no
like no curtain between allah my father spoke
to allah he spoke to allah one-on
-one let me tell you the conversation tell
me allah told your dad ask me for
anything that you want he the father of
jabir just died in a battle now he
returned back to allah what does jabir tell
him the father of he says yeah allah
my wish is to go back to dunya
why i want to go back to dunya
then i get killed for your sake it's
heavy how can you beat these people because
of the sweetness of worshipping allah so allah
tells him i cannot do that not because
he cannot he said because i made a
rule whoever dies never comes back you never
come back so he says yeah allah if
that's the case i cannot come back and
fight for your cause once again then tell
the world about my situation and now allah
told it to muhammad then the prophet told
it to jabir and now i say in
2023 how beautiful is that right then allah
revealed the verse do not say about those
who die in the path of allah don't
say they're dead don't say they're and may
allah accept all those brothers and sisters that
died in the earthquake as shuhada say ameen
so allah says don't say these martyrs are
dead they're alive may allah grant you the
reward of martyrdom even if you die a
regular death say ameen and that's what the
prophet told us we can get it so
now when they faced off and they were
going back and forth the kuffar when they
saw that they were so angry they said
okay you believe in what he sent we
will not say we don't believe he's a
prophet we will say just like you we
disbelieve in everything he says the other extreme
then they get so angry why because they
saw salih is impacting the community people are
accepting islam people are listening to what he's
saying people are obeying him this is getting
out of control so now they get so
angry and when you're angry and i'm angry
what usually happens our true colors appear and
now they will share why they're not believing
ready they said foreign they
said you want us to follow an average
human being from among us we would then
be truly misguided and insane why was he
chosen from all of us so they just
exposed one of the real reasons why they
never believe this whole time why him and
not me why not me why him what's
so special my average guy why the wahid
nobody why is that you see how bad
jealousy and envy can be it's very sad
there's a very nice statement by a man
his name is alex from mosey he says
only poor people think someone else succeeding means
they are failing only poor people think someone
else succeeding means they are failing if salih
is succeeding that means the whole community succeeds
it's not a competition in a way it's
a compliment you do this i do this
you attend we do that you give i
we all work together i rise you rise
you rise i rise you go down i
go down i go down you go down
we're all in this together so they were
just so focused like why him why him
and that's the disaster that many of us
may go through you know what happened in
summary they looked at the one who was
blessed they did not look at the source
of the blessing if we're able to focus
on that line inshallah which allah is teaching
us we will have a much better life
one more time they were obsessed about the
one who was blessed and they ignored did
not pay attention or whatever the case is
towards the one who is the source of
that blessing why why that make a difference
because if they realize who is the source
they will know i can get what he
gets you see what just happened there so
don't be jealous oh how come they got
married before me they're not as method and
accomplished they're not as eloquent they're not as
good looking what the one who got her
married is allah he can get you married
simple it has nothing to do with her
or him it has to do with allah
the way he decided so once we look
at the everything changes so may allah grant
us success so when you have this thinking
now you're in the other end you're the
receiving end now i'm not gonna talk about
people of samud i'll talk about salih specifically
when he comes to the conclusion i am
who i am because i worked hard yes
or no no i am who i am
because i have always been righteous no i
am who i am because allah gave it
to me so when he keeps this in
mind he will be humble and will never
show off because since he gave it that
means he can take it and just like
how i have it today i may not
have it tomorrow done so when we keep
thinking of that anytime you succeed the success
came from allah these people ignored the source
focused on the one who's blessed and they
got ruined by that jealousy and envy may
allah protect us so what happened they're now
going all over the place you know like
like a system error error error that's what
they went through you're this you're nobody now
they curse him you're a liar not just
that they say you're a liar you're bewitched
now when someone starts resorting to bad name
calling you realize very likely is because they
are defeated there's nothing intellectual to talk about
now so they went and just accused what
character shaming defaming and so on the talk
about the content talk about what was sent
talk about what i said don't go into
like um bewitched bewitched i am magician i
am a liar tell me exactly what's going
on they couldn't so be careful if you
see yourself falling into that you're having a
discussion with someone no i think the right
thing to do is this and that then
they got everything like you know what you're
a loser you're gonna go to * anyways
why right you know what i know you're
insincere how do you know he's insincere where's
sincerity where is it where's sincerity sincerity is
the heart is the sincerity is in the
heart right can you check that out well
now i'm a surgeon that bad don't don't
don't don't unbutton my shirt no matter who
no matter who you are you will never
know my intention not a single person here
knows my intention i can be the biggest
show-off in the world i can be
the biggest sincere man in the world you
will not know okay so what do you
just mean based on what i say and
what i do you're not naive you can
see signs but don't have a confirmation even
towards good people the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
says if you ever want to praise someone
and you really want to do that do
not do not go with affirmation like do
not say i see taqwa in your eyes
where's taqwa where's shia i mean where is
he where's taqwa where's taqwa in my eyes
the prophet says taqwa is here taqwa is
here it's in the heart you don't know
taqi but what do you say i don't
praise on allah's behalf allah knows best i'm
not the ultimate judge but i think three
things i don't praise on allah's behalf allah
knows best and what's number three i think
he is such and such shook the prerequisites
because if you attach your heart so much
to the messenger and the messenger falls you
will fall that's why many people like oh
i came with the sheikh did that i'm
not gonna respect islam because we got too
attached to the guy giving the message when
we should have been so attached to the
message itself not the right but we're blessed
with muhammad the best messenger and the best
message right may allah grant us all jannah
so don't go to name calling be very
careful don't be like this guy in in
that toyota dealership what's your dealership i'll tell
you i took my 2012 toyota sienna van
all right okay so i took it because
there was a recall on the sliding door
it's an electric sliding door you press it
it just opens by itself and then you
go in fantastic so i was struggling with
the door it was having having in terms
of opening issue but once i open it
it's still it's good so there was a
recall allahu akbar so i got to fix
it at no cost so i go to
your dealership i give him my car a
few hours i wait there once i'm done
your sir your car is done we wash
that up for you as a complimentary wash
whatever i already paid for it through the
recall anyhow so then got the car so
i said let me just try it so
i open the door it's opening nice but
then it's sliding then it stops does not
lock so it just slides and it stops
so you can go in but it didn't
lock so what's the problem if you put
your hand it can easily just go right
but if you just properly open it and
there's no issues it will come and then
it will lock so it will not go
right and left so i told the guy
you know what the thank you for fixing
it and the belt and everything but i
never had this issue before like when i
open it yes i struggle but once i
go in it locks and now it's not
locking so anyone who is holding the door
it will wiggle so or slide so he
says i don't know i didn't touch this
area man i just fixed the belt uh
that's the situation i said i appreciate that
sir but my car wasn't like that it
used to lock like this is a safety
problem it's like man i'm telling you once
again i had nothing to do with this
area i fixed that belt over here i
said sir i do understand that but i
would have never came to fix a smaller
problem when a bigger one existed make sense
i would have fixed this before the belt
keep it manual forget the electric he's like
you know what man i there's nothing i
can do for you i'm like sir this
is a safety problem listen he told me
listen your car is 10 years old it
has over 150 000 miles your lucky warranty
covered it lucky my warranty recall covered it
wallahi the moment he said i was upset
but i said for you saying that you
just confirmed you ruined it that's exactly what
i told you doing that you're the one
who ruined it and you know it because
he started name calling what does it have
to do with 10 years old inshallah 50
years old inshallah farhan drove it that doesn't
matter right doesn't make any difference okay it
never existed like that since i'm like okay
i'm like you know what i'm not going
home with a car like that and i'm
usually laid back our lands were stolen we
have to do wallah you have to take
whatever you can within your within your means
you want to forgive forgive but when you
can forgive i forgive them because you can't
do anything the proper forgiveness is when you
can knock him out and you say like
you know what i'm not going to do
that that's the elite forgiveness right to be
honest i'm gonna say i'll forgive you no
because i can't do anything no inshallah i
will try to get something then i will
think to forgive you or not okay so
then i went in to the serviceman i
said listen i got this car this happened
it was locking and the guy said 10
years old 150 000 miles nonsense then he
says sir we might have to charge you
if there's a problem i'm like you're not
charging me a penny the car never came
like that i wanted to you know what
take off the belt take off the old
thing and return it he's like no i
said you know what and i flexed i'm
an engineer for over 10 years i'm a
supplier to you i flexed so much my
shirt got tight i said this is molded
this is a place and you flex as
much as you want he says sir let's
see then i said i'm not going with
the car i promise you and i said
ready for this take it whenever you need
but don't abuse it i'm going to complain
to toyota corporation this is like malik ul
maut really i'm telling you as a side
note from that pro tip because if you
say you want to complain to the manager
the manager and them is all one team
toyota corporation and in the email i'm an
flex let's see what we can do anyway
see what you can do see what you
can do and hear what you can do
okay so he went and i went back
to work to my stuff then he came
back who the guy who says the 150
000 miles he's like sir it was a
simple fix it just required some lubricants and
we able to you know solve the lock
problem you're all set good to go i
said to him thank you so much but
that's all what you had to do just
check it out see is it from you
is it from me but don't ever resort
to start calling the car old to start
saying how many miles it has on this
is not how it goes all right it's
like yes sir come on he's super nice
allah knows the intention the whole toyota corporation
shook them right anyhow then i drove off
so what's the moral of the story the
moral of the story we as a community
have to come together and buy me a
new minivan inshallah okay and we have to
get a honda not a tiara why to
rub it in his face by the way
the four nice souls in the crowd that
are thinking to open a gofundme page i'm
just joking a lot all right just go
give to the icd inshallah i'll get my
card differently may allah grant you may allah
bless you say amen so they start accusing
him and everything of that sort so then
they said there's nothing special so what do
they ask for a sign give me a
sign that you're a prophet question what's the
difference between the people of thamud and ad
ad i want to focus ad said you
did not come with a sign right there's
no bayina thamud said give us a sign
see the difference so when they ask for
a sign if you're really truthful show us
a sign now here you have to appreciate
something salih alayhi salam does not really snap
on them because if someone speaks to you
like that you would snap right you're a
loser you're a magician you're possessed you're crazy
you would lose your cool but he was
able to maintain himself allahumma barik may allah
make us like salih alayhi salam amazing he
could have snapped and said everything but he's
like you know what no i'm not going
to do that and he prayed to allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala ya allah help me
with my people ya allah help me allah
in one narration not in the quran is
a books of tafsir it says that they
requested the sign specifically but this is not
in the quran's tafsir just to maybe just
add to the story what happened they said
we want a specific camel this kind of
color this kind of size this isn't that
why why a camel remember the miracle is
related to the people and they lived where
in the arabian peninsula and camels were the
thing at that time and allah knows best
so they asked for something that specific or
allah shows it allah knows best and what's
our miracle the quran so their their quran
is the camel at that time in addition
to what salih alayhi salam have said okay
what happened there eventually the camel came exactly
how they asked and this was an absolute
shock and let's hear the three things about
the camel ready because these are very very
important points number one he says a sign
from your lord has come this is a
camel that belongs to allah there's no owner
on earth for it who's the owner let
it eat from allah's land it will eat
by itself don't feed it it will take
care of everything okay all right and don't
you dare touch it don't scare it don't
hurt it in any way then you'll be
severely punished okay then he says and tell
them that the way the water will be
drank remember the well that i mentioned earlier
in the session previous session i'll mention again
for those that came later so there's several
wells or so the camel used to go
to one well the camel used to go
to what one well so the salih alayhi
salam is telling him number one you know
this is a camel from allah this is
your sign let it eat whatever it goes
don't touch it you'll be punished painfully number
two it will drink one day and the
day it drinks you don't drink from any
well one more time all the water in
the city no one is allowed to drink
the water the day the camel is to
drink from the water next day the camel
will not drink the water you guys drink
the water so every other day you have
what water resources fantastic fantastic then he says
another ayah and don't touch it different word
first one was second time here what severe
catastrophic punishments or painful catastrophic number three what's
the third rule the day the camel drinks
from the water you the one tafsir says
drink from its milk so one day you
drink water and the other day you drink
the milk from the camel the day the
camel drinks from the water third time do
not touch the camel then you have the
punishment will be so fast and swift so
it will be painful catastrophic and very quickly
subhanallah allah was always close and near but
their behavior made the punishment now very near
allah is always there for us so don't
substitute allah's mercy to allah's anger allah's mercy
has surpassed his anger may allah make it
easy for all of us and remember just
like how they cannot harm that camel and
they have to respect the camel we too
have to respect the quran the miracle allah
has given us think of the quran respect
it don't make jokes out of it and
allah says help me allah said we made
the quran easy to memorize easy to understand
easy to apply easy to live by that's
what allah says then allah says who is
willing to take on this task on themselves
who is willing to take the quran seriously
so may allah make us of them ya
rabb it's a miracle to be proud of
go and read as much as you possibly
can and learn and wallah you see isn't
it a miracle that people cannot put one
sentence one sentence in arabic they cannot put
it together but they had the whole quran
memorized i what miracle what miracle it's unbelievable
look i read the whole quran i remember
one time i got to read the whole
quran then after that i would not one
shot won the whole quran but he was
a hafidh coming to the taraweeh i speak
them in arabic like i'm trying to flex
the arabic brother i don't speak arabic you
have over 6 000 lines of arabic he
doesn't know the language it's a miracle it's
absolute miracle so use that use that to
your for yourself for your confidence massey high
school it's in windsor people from windsor mashallah
from canada allahu akbar may allah bless you
all say ameen ah this is where it
all started windsor mashallah may allah bless you
guys right so massey high school they had
like an you know there's a religion class
they teach like one time christianity they teach
judaism they teach islam so each chapter they
try to get a speaker to present the
religion and something cool about it so they
came to me the students they said brother
can you come like you know do something
about islam so i said you know what
i have an idea let's do an ex
and show a miracle of islam which is
the quran it's like how i'm gonna give
me brother adan brother adan is known in
windsor to have the quran memorized more than
i know my name he's okay what do
you want to do i said listen we're
gonna bring him to class during that islam
chapter and then we're gonna get a quran
transliteration and then we're gonna tell any student
who wants to volunteer including the teacher to
choose any chapter while adan cannot see what's
the quran and let him continue 114 chapters
in the quran more than 600 pages and
i told him he will read it not
just the meaning he will read it word
for word letter by letter the way it's
written transliteration really now when i told the
students and the brothers like your thing's gonna
work i'm like well inshallah all right all
right so then we went to the class
so i told the teacher this is a
quran obviously they heard about it that's our
holy book and one of its miracles this
has been preserved to the dot right and
he is someone who memorized the whole quran
the whole thing every single word everything of
it everything of it you know don't help
me i didn't make a mistake so i
said you choose any chapter i will not
even volunteer okay let's say chapter 10 i
worked it out on the side no you
choose so like okay so then the i
remember was surat ibrahim chapter 14 so the
teacher read a part of it then he
continued one more one more one more then
the students said one more one more one
more subhanallah it's amazing something to be proud
of guess what happened guess how many people
accepted islam in that class after this zero
it's about the effort not the results okay
all right i told you i'll tell you
good stories i'll tell you but it was
very impressive allah maybe some of them are
muslim now adnan is still doing good he
got married takbir allahu akbar right fantastic right
may may allah brighten his face may allah
brighten his face the way he brightened our
face and reputation in that school come on
they start speaking of it non-stop wow
how did you do that and like can
we do that in the bible quiet which
edition which edition 70 plus editions right our
quran with allah's help is preserved right with
different dialects in certain ayat when he brought
the miracle do you think they believed so
how come you guys are so confident no
why in my story said half the class
it was a miracle but why you guys
said no that's your right allah says what
was the reaction this was the reaction they
ignored everything you know why not why they
ignored but they did not need the sign
they asked for and many of us sometimes
like allah show me the sign show me
this if you're really there do that you
don't need it you have enough your existence
is a sign allah said look at yourself
don't even look outside don't even turn on
the light think of yourself your heart your
stomach your cells your brain think of it
what do you want a sign you're a
sign yourself and be very careful to ask
allah for a customized sign is it haram
no nothing it's haram but be very careful
if you ask allah if you're there please
move the speaker okay assuming you're not questioning
allah but just want to strengthen your faith
why because if it happens and the speaker
is moved and you don't believe allah punishes
that person double any one human being on
earth so i'm not going to ask for
signs smart person and that's why the people
of mecca did an authentic hadith they went
to the prophet say sallallahu alayhi wasallam make
dua to your lord people of mecca told
muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam tell your god to
make the mountain of safa turn it into
gold can allah do that yes he can
so then muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam made dua
to allah ya allah ya allah turn the
mountain to gold because he really wants the
best for his people and thinking this will
be the best who comes to the prophet
who comes jibreel alaihissalam and he tells you
if you want i can turn the mountain
to gold but under the condition if they
do not believe after that they'll be punished
in a way no human was ever punished
before or i do not turn the mountain
to gold but i will leave the door
of repentance open then what did he choose
that the door of repentance open fair enough
because there are so many miracles they did
not need an extra customized one there's a
brother this is personally personally wallah if it
was not if i was not present i
would have never shared the story i think
so i was walking this brother it was
university of it was at night time we
think the brother to be a good man
that's what we think of him and mashallah
in the masjid and everything so we're walking
in the empty parking lot caw parking lot
and you know what's in front of the
university of windsor is the ambassador bridge and
i was right there so then he was
saying oh man i just need like i
believe in allah and everything brother but i
just need like just one sign like you
know like my life and everything just needs
like like like just something allah can show
me like he's like there i know he's
there like he's referencing now ayah like for
my heart to be more certain allah's my
witness he says ya allah i'm like oh
this is serious ya allah please please i
know you're there show me the sign guess
what he asked for the ambassador bridge has
a lot of lights a lot of lights
right so he says ya allah turn off
i don't remember the exact number but along
the lines of the third light on the
right after the r ambassador the third light
turned off the light i heard that allah's
my witness and guess what happens i got
you now like i don't know what to
say yes or no like the classic example
i got you money it turned off the
only light bulb that just turned off oh
boogie boogie no i didn't do that right
like how did you do that so this
brother nighttime empty parking lot he start crying
crying and he made such in the asphalt
parking lot i was like him but almost
jealous fourth light on the left right so
anyhow so we're walking we're walking and now
we're walking towards the actual river the detroit
river and you're walking on my left was
the detroit river and as we were walking
he's like man unbelievable then he saw in
the in the detroit river they have an
orange cone with a light that goes on
and off like maybe emergency or safety so
he looked at he paused he said ya
allah yara i promise he lost one wallah
he lost i just want to make sure
the first one wasn't like a you know
technical issues ya allah make the orange light
on up make just make it stop make
it not turn it back on again because
it's like this what happened what happened nothing
nothing happened so what did this brother prove
to all of us don't think the sign
you're waiting for is the sign that will
make you like khalas live the best life
ever right i want just one thing that
one thing that one sign that the one
sign is that actually that one sign now
this brother allahu ta'ala i don't judge
on allah's behalf but generally when someone asks
for a sign and does not end up
believing they are in a disaster alhamdulillah so
far he's a muslim i'm telling you this
about 12 13 years later alhamdulillah he's still
muslim because he's gonna be pretty deadly so
here they ask for the sign what what
did they do they basically rejected it coming
to the end rejected it well well well
after they rejected salih was very disappointed he
says you
feel it's reaching the end they he said
to them why why you guys are always
like that why look why you you have
the free will he's a test you have
the option to believe you have the option
to disbelieve why do you choose the wrong
over the right what's the matter with you
just seek allah's forgiveness after all that he
still says make tawbah allah's door is still
open before it's too late seek allah's forgiveness
may allah not make us regret too late
see i mean these two are not being
moved so they tell salih what does it
mean you're bad luck anything that goes wrong
in the city that day they didn't sell
enough someone got sick the rain was delayed
water was not as clean they said it's
because of salih and his people so salih
says now we're bad luck now now you're
taking omens you had you had a problem
believing in allah but have no problem believing
in luck right like you're bad luck knock
on wood may allah protect us so then
he says and he says before that allah
is the one who destined things what did
they show you again they're focused on the
person not the source do you see what
has happened you are bad luck who's the
source of the qadar allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala so then brothers and sisters they gang
up to do what very very bad plan
now they come together the elite to go
end that sign and kill the camel he
says don't touch it now they don't just
want to not touch not touch it they
want to kill it so they gathered up
and allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says how
they came about nine of them and plotted
how to kill it allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala says they asked one of the wickedest
of people the worst of them his name
was so then the ashqaha went to the
camel and salih he felt they're plotting to
kill the camel and he knows the sign
they rejected the sign they will eliminate our
quran you want to reject and not read
from it the camel they want to slaughter
it so he says this is allah's camel
let it drink from the water do not
disturb it he grabbed the camel grabbed the
sword with the other hand and he slaughtered
the camel killed the camel salih was sad
salih was devastated and allah says not just
who killed how many people killed it one
and another ayah allah said what what does
that mean they killed it it's only one
man because they did not stop him though
they could have and those who see oppression
and they could have done something about it
they could have within their capacity and means
and they do not stop it you are
just as guilty as the oppressor they killed
it was one man ashqaha when he killed
it look at the audacity he killed the
camel then he says you're a prophet show
us what you promised of punishment if we
killed it yalla here you go killed it
what's the punishment may allah protect us from
any arrogance so then at this point he
knows salih this is over this is game
over i'm not going to tell you seek
allah's forgiveness i'm done i'm not going to
tell you repent that's over may allah not
make us reach that state so he says
you have three days it's over you guys
are done but the punishment will come not
in a year or two remember he said
what three words the punishment is alim painful
the punishment is alim catastrophic and the punishment
is very near three days that's all what
you got enjoy your life for three days
this is a promise allah will never break
three days what do you think they did
please no no no no what do you
think they did they regret too late so
since his punishment is coming and now they
know the camel was a miracle what are
you going to do next i told you
they're worse than people of ad they got
a sign they killed it that's already worse
than ad they heard about who they heard
about the story they didn't take any lessons
they're gonna go kill salih they're gonna now
go kill salih alayhis salam allah says the
nine ganged up listen this is the plan
we're gonna kill this loser how say you
swear swear to god that we're all gonna
be together in this we swear this is
the plan we're gonna go at a time
where no one notices any one of us
and one of us will go and kill
salih if anyone asks us do you guys
know about what happened because now we're probably
gonna be accused we're gonna say no we
were not even around salih let's kill salih
what does it mean and his family right
at night time and we're gonna swear we're
saying the truth like yeah we we're not
gonna go as far as killing them like
i'm an islamophobe but i've never go as
far as like ruining your house and they
did it right so what happened allah says
allah says they plotted allah subhanah says they
plotted when who else plotted you want to
plot against our prophets you want to plot
against my servants who are righteous i will
plot and allah's plans are the ones that
will always go through brothers and sisters the
day has come it's over all of a
sudden third day is done on that day
a very loud noise very very loud noise
they're killing them the noise and you know
that's very loud sounds can kill about 185
decibels i was reading about it can actually
make your lungs explode very loud i'm going
crazy like that subhanallah the camel very likely
the camel yelled and cried as it was
being hurt suffer the way you made the
animals suffer cry non-stop and yell as
loud for the sound is going to be
very disturbing to you it was so loud
the second punishment so so loud and the
earthquake took place their homes were becoming to
collapse and the houses were being crushed and
from allah's rahmah subhanallah some ulama said that's
why in the dwellings of salih today between
medina and tabuk some of their homes still
exist still it's a little bit not the
fancy homes are on the mountains all that
is gone so when this is happening now
they realize salih was right salih was right
they realized it before this happened but now
it's way too late allah says all the
things that they rejected salih for status didn't
benefit you the money that you sold your
faith for the money is not benefiting you
the family you had you gave up all
your family for that thing never benefited you
may allah not make us go through this
because you know what happens yom qiyamah one
of the most painful ahadith about the day
of judgment allah subhanallah shares with us people
actually in the break time someone asked me
in the break how are you telling us
stories yom qiyamah this happened this happened this
happened and yom qiyamah never took place allah's
telling you in the present form to basically
affirm it's happening so allah's telling you what's
going to happen in the future and a
very famous line allah knew what happened and
allah knows what is happening and allah knows
what will and i'll do the fourth one
and allah knows what will happen if something
else has happened right so allah's sharing the
future with us so he says a man
will come at the end of time yom
qiyamah and he's being punished he says ya
allah i will give up the whole world
just save me for one day i'll give
up everything the billions i had the fame
i had the influence i had everything i
have i'll give it all up just save
me allah tells them i asked you to
give up a lot less than that and
you said no how painful is that i
just said for example cut your hours of
sleep for example instead of eight make it
seven and a half to wake up for
half hour now you're gonna give up your
life for one day i asked you for
a lot less that was doable oh hellfire
all this and i told you respect your
parents right you were unjustifiably disobeying them unjustifiably
disrespecting them what are you doing i'll give
everything it's too late right oh it's so
hot in here i told you wear respected
islamic clothing okay it's sweating and now hellfire
came what was worse the son of the
dunya or the jahannam of akhira i asked
you for a lot less it's too late
may allah make it easy for us say
ameen then allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says
they became like sticks and then they became
completely destroyed and the buildings collapsed and all
of them and the last remark salih alaihissalam
he says is this one this is the
last one he says the following and this
is maybe the first time he goes into
like judging them in a way he says
salih was so sad because allah saved him
and saved the believers from allah's mercy then
he said to them i told you the
message i told you the truth i advised
i wanted the best for you but you
guys do not like those who advise you
you do not give room to be having
any constructive criticism you always want to do
your way and own your way and you
were never willing to change your way even
knowing it's wrong so may allah not make
us like them so be the one as
amon khattab says may allah have mercy on
the one who gifts me my mistakes because
when you know your mistakes that's how you
improve you see what's your shortcoming you take
it to the next level so may allah
make us of those that give proper advice
and receive proper advice and salih moved alaihissalam
and then another prophet came and who is
that prophet shuaib alaihissalam we'll see you march
10th inshallah
