al Hamdulillahi, Rabbil Alameen

wa Allah Adi. He was sahabihi ajima in
Allah. Tina Hadi
watahi, rubana a was Akina,
WA ja, Anna, Min Olia, ikad, mukura, Bin rahmatukaya or hamara,
himI,
alhamdulillahi, ladi, Hana, Ali, hada,
OMA Kun, Lina, tadi Allah and hadan Allah.
We thank Allah,
we praise Allah, and we acknowledge our need for him,
and we ask Allah, Subhanahu, taala, to bless this beautiful,
immensely, tremendously beautiful location and occasion.
Brothers and sisters,
this place, Al Maqasid, is truly, truly blessed,
and it is an honor from Allah subhanahu wa that any of us can
attend these gatherings, to be in the presence of these wonderful
and beautiful teachers and honored guests and distinguished guests,
and what is to come as the years go by and the months go by and the
weeks go by and the days go by is even greater than what we are
currently experiencing.
Fahmadullah, Allah,
praise Allah and thank him for that,
for verily, there are people right now?
There are people right now that are in absolute, dire need of this
light and of this Noor, of this beauty that we are drinking from
and that we are experiencing and that we are tasting.
There are those of us that have been blessed to meet the wonderful
and beautiful ulama and awliya of this time. And there are many, I
can say for certain. There are many wonderful, close and pious
and righteous servants of Allah right here, right now, in this
gathering Alhamdulillah.
But as I was saying that many of us have been blessed to meet some
of these great, incredible awliya and ulama and scholars the likes
of Sayyidi al habibra Omar or Sayyidi al Habiba Ali and many
others, may Allah bless and preserve them all. However,
just because you've kissed the hand,
just because you've visited a land, it doesn't mean that you are
protected and preserved, if you will, all the time indefinitely if
you don't do what's right.
So recognize the blessing that Allah subhanahu wa has graced you
with and give it its due, because there is a due to every right and
every blessing that you have been given,
and the right and the blessing of guidance is to give thanks to
Allah subhanahu wa because at any moment
it can be taken away, because it is not you,
it's not you, and it's not about you, it's him, and it's about him.
And so all of our intentions, all of our directions, of our hearts,
of our gazes, of what we listen to, of what we look at and what we
see, has to be for Allah subhanahu wa, because if it's not, then
watch out.
Don't be like the one who had guidance, who had light, who had
this beauty but then lost it. Don't be like that one.
Allah subhanahu wa says in the Quran, describing the situation of
those that have no light,
it is as if they put out their hand in front of them, and there's
so many layers of darkness they keep.
Can't even see it. Voluma about either adahulaha, that if he
brings out his hand, he can't even see it. Just imagine that it's
your own hand.
It's your own appendage, and you can't even see it because of the
extreme darkness that you find yourself in
Omaha, nuran familial that whomever Allah does not give
light,
there is for that person no light. And also look at a very subtle
indication in this ayah, in this verse, that whomever Allah does
not give light, Famille who min Nur,
it doesn't say, from Allahu Nur, which obviously would be enough,
he doesn't have light,
doesn't have any light. None,
none
the source of light is from Allah, Subhanahu wa and our Prophet
Muhammad, sallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam is that beacon by which we
understand and learn to manifest that light may Allah bless this
place. May Allah bless all of our mashaykh. May Allah bless Sidi Aya
and Sidi Amjad and Sidi Hassan and Sidi Yusuf and all Sidi Abdul
Fattah and all of the blessed, beloved mashaykh and asatida and
teachers that we have in this location. Finally, brothers and
sisters, I want to leave you with this one thought or this one
share, if you will.
I have been honored and blessed to be here for the past year,
Alhamdulillah
and unfortunately, fortunately, Allah knows what is best. But I
will be departing. I will be leaving to go back to Virginia,
but I hope that I will be able to visit you and again and again and
again and drink from this beauty and experience this light and be
able to see you all again, please. I ask you, in parting to make dua
for me. Inshallah, this poor Fakir, your brother, Khalil, make
dua for me, please, and for my family. JazakAllah, Wan wa salam
Ali Kumar, Ahmed Allah will offer me a.
