00:00:00 --> 00:00:03
			their respective brothers and sisters in Islam, Somalia

00:00:08 --> 00:00:09
			and to our respected

00:00:11 --> 00:00:15
			non Muslim guests, friends, neighbors,

00:00:16 --> 00:00:18
			we asked of Almighty God

00:00:19 --> 00:00:21
			that He provides him with guidance

00:00:24 --> 00:00:26
			here or after here.

00:00:31 --> 00:00:33
			I'm very grateful and very honored

00:00:37 --> 00:00:40
			to be invited by this noble foundation.

00:00:42 --> 00:00:48
			And I pray to Allah subhanaw taala for the success for the work that is been endeavored.

00:00:52 --> 00:00:58
			And I asked the last panel to Allah to have the future association with such foundations.

00:01:01 --> 00:01:09
			I'm also here tonight and feeling very honored to have this opportunity to address you on this
topic. And I'd like to say

00:01:12 --> 00:01:14
			that this is not a lecture and

00:01:15 --> 00:01:18
			and I'm certainly not a preacher.

00:01:20 --> 00:01:30
			If someone wants to refer to myself or other speakers about Islam or presenters about Islam, if they
want to call us preachers,

00:01:31 --> 00:01:34
			which is a familiar terminology in the Western world.

00:01:35 --> 00:01:38
			We will accept that, but that is not exactly correct.

00:01:40 --> 00:01:43
			We are, we are presenters of Islam.

00:01:46 --> 00:01:51
			We're not merely preachers just objectively just talking about Islam.

00:01:52 --> 00:01:56
			We are presenting Islam to the best of our ability through our behavior.

00:01:58 --> 00:02:03
			We are presenting Islam through the evidence of the Quran and the Sunnah.

00:02:05 --> 00:02:07
			And we are inviting towards Islam,

00:02:09 --> 00:02:13
			in the best way is using the best resources that we have available to us.

00:02:15 --> 00:02:17
			And this is not a lecture.

00:02:19 --> 00:02:21
			I'm not prepared to lecture.

00:02:24 --> 00:02:27
			And if there's one non Muslim in this audience,

00:02:29 --> 00:02:32
			I want to make it clear that this presentation is for you.

00:02:35 --> 00:02:38
			We have a saying in English in the church,

00:02:41 --> 00:02:45
			that the minister he doesn't need to preach to the choir.

00:02:46 --> 00:02:48
			The choir has already there.

00:02:49 --> 00:02:51
			They already believe what he's saying.

00:02:52 --> 00:02:54
			But the message is for the visitors.

00:02:57 --> 00:02:58
			And if there is a

00:03:01 --> 00:03:04
			disappoint disappointment that I have with Muslims

00:03:06 --> 00:03:11
			who have the knowledge who have the resources.

00:03:12 --> 00:03:17
			It is that they don't realize that in a country like this.

00:03:19 --> 00:03:25
			And in this collection in this cluster of countries like the UAE

00:03:26 --> 00:03:29
			you may have over 2 million

00:03:31 --> 00:03:34
			non Muslim workers

00:03:36 --> 00:03:47
			who are sitting at your left and right whom you are eating with dealing with who they work in your
homes or in your factories or your offices.

00:03:49 --> 00:03:56
			You also probably have 30 million non Muslims passing through

00:03:59 --> 00:04:01
			a country like Dubai.

00:04:03 --> 00:04:23
			And why is it with such a beautiful religion? A beautiful system of life with all the resources that
we have available for us. Why is it difficult? That when you and I come to a place like this with
the theme that we have, why is it that you came along?

00:04:25 --> 00:04:39
			Why weren't you able to bring a colleague, a co worker, a neighbor, a friend, a non Muslim? Why were
you not able to convince them? Why couldn't you bribe him?

00:04:40 --> 00:04:49
			Why couldn't you drive them here? Why couldn't you give them 100 Dylan's to come here, but lecture
after lecture

00:04:50 --> 00:04:59
			year after year. Muslims are organizing lectures all over the world and they are coming by
themselves with their family members.

00:05:01 --> 00:05:01
			That's like

00:05:03 --> 00:05:07
			my wife and myself preparing a dinner.

00:05:08 --> 00:05:14
			And we invited all the neighbors. But my family members, they got there first and they ate all the
food.

00:05:18 --> 00:05:20
			So if there's a non Muslim here,

00:05:22 --> 00:05:29
			if there's one or two, or three, or whatever many of non Muslims, this presentation is for you.

00:05:32 --> 00:05:38
			Because I'm not here to entertain the Muslims. I'm not Michael Jackson, I don't have any white
gloves.

00:05:43 --> 00:05:44
			And we Muslims.

00:05:48 --> 00:05:50
			We are not part of the popular culture,

00:05:52 --> 00:06:01
			where we put up banners, and words and slogans, and we invite the Muslims to come there to see
popular speakers,

00:06:03 --> 00:06:05
			we have to have an objective for what we are doing.

00:06:07 --> 00:06:15
			This is the part of our media, this is a part of the sign of our class. And this is one of the
reasons how last one except

00:06:16 --> 00:06:17
			so I'd like to know

00:06:20 --> 00:06:20
			is there

00:06:21 --> 00:06:25
			are there any non Muslims in the audience?

00:06:29 --> 00:06:32
			If you do, can you raise your hand, please? One,

00:06:37 --> 00:06:37
			two,

00:06:38 --> 00:06:43
			then, if you don't mind, come forward. So I can see you please.

00:06:45 --> 00:06:46
			Please take the best seat right here.

00:06:50 --> 00:06:52
			Please, please come and sit in the seat here.

00:06:57 --> 00:07:01
			Because this presentation is for you.

00:07:02 --> 00:07:19
			Whatever money that it costs, it's for you. Whatever organization, the organization that has been
done, it has been done for you. And therefore, the best seat in the house should be reserved for
those whom the lecture it was done for.

00:07:22 --> 00:07:26
			And I'd like you to be there. So that from time to time, I can look directly at you.

00:07:32 --> 00:07:38
			As I mentioned, I'm not prepared to lecture. But what I have prepared

00:07:39 --> 00:07:44
			is sort of an advice and advice even for myself. Because I can remember

00:07:46 --> 00:07:49
			that I was sitting in a chair just like you

00:07:51 --> 00:07:52
			a few days ago,

00:07:54 --> 00:07:56
			a few years ago, just a little while ago,

00:07:57 --> 00:07:59
			I was sitting right there.

00:08:00 --> 00:08:02
			When you are a Christian,

00:08:03 --> 00:08:04
			or non Muslim,

00:08:06 --> 00:08:13
			whatever nationality, it doesn't matter, a human being that at that time, was not aware of Islam.

00:08:14 --> 00:08:21
			And at that particular time, I didn't really understand what was the purpose of life.

00:08:22 --> 00:08:26
			So with that note, I would request you to think of what I am saying to you as a

00:08:27 --> 00:08:32
			source of information, some advice, not a selection.

00:08:33 --> 00:08:38
			The information I want to share with you may seem to be a bit expensive.

00:08:39 --> 00:08:42
			But when you consider the capacity of the human brain,

00:08:43 --> 00:08:54
			and the amount of information that it can store, and that it is able to decipher that a few pages of
information tonight, I'm sure will not overburden

00:08:55 --> 00:09:04
			It is my responsibility to address the topic of our discussion tonight. What is the purpose of our
life?

00:09:05 --> 00:09:13
			I'm honored to have this opportunity. And I would like to begin by saying that all of you have an
equal responsibility.

00:09:14 --> 00:09:16
			And that responsibility is to listen

00:09:18 --> 00:09:19
			with an open heart

00:09:20 --> 00:09:25
			and an open mind because hearts and minds that are open.

00:09:27 --> 00:09:31
			I like a glass that is sitting this way.

00:09:32 --> 00:09:34
			But hearts and mind that are already

00:09:35 --> 00:09:44
			subjective and closed and restricted and prejudiced. It's like a glass that's upside down. If you
pour something on it you will never get filled.

00:09:47 --> 00:09:59
			In a world filled of prejudice and cultural conditioning. It is very hard to find people that are
able to take a moment like yourselves to think about life objectively.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:14
			To try to arrive at truth, truth about this world and the real purpose of our lives. Unfortunately,
when you ask most people the question, what is the purpose of our life?

00:10:16 --> 00:10:18
			such an important question.

00:10:19 --> 00:10:29
			They won't tell you what they have concluded from observation or analytical reasoning, because in
most cases, we haven't thought about it.

00:10:30 --> 00:10:39
			Rather than most cases, they will simply tell you what someone else said. Or they will tell you what
is commonly presumed

00:10:40 --> 00:10:49
			what my father said, the purpose of life is what the Minister of my church said, the purpose of life
is what my teacher in school said what my friend said.

00:10:52 --> 00:10:54
			But if I ask anyone,

00:10:56 --> 00:10:58
			what's the purpose of eating?

00:11:00 --> 00:11:06
			Why do we eat they will say, in one way or another, it's because we need nutrition to live.

00:11:07 --> 00:11:09
			it sustains our life.

00:11:10 --> 00:11:12
			If I asked anyone why they work,

00:11:13 --> 00:11:23
			they will say it's obvious. Because it is a necessity in order to support myself, and to provide the
needs of my family.

00:11:26 --> 00:11:39
			And if I ask people, why they sleep, why they wash while they dress, etc, they will answer these
have well known. This is a common necessity for all human beings.

00:11:40 --> 00:11:53
			We can follow the same line of questioning with 100 questions and receive same or similar answers,
from anyone, in any language in any place in any time of the world.

00:11:54 --> 00:11:55
			Then I asked you,

00:11:57 --> 00:12:00
			why is it that when we ask the question,

00:12:01 --> 00:12:07
			what is the goal and purpose of life? Why do we get so many answers?

00:12:09 --> 00:12:13
			Why do people have to scratch their heads and think about it?

00:12:14 --> 00:12:17
			It is because people are confused.

00:12:18 --> 00:12:20
			They don't really know.

00:12:21 --> 00:12:27
			They are stumbling in the dark. And rather than to honestly say, I don't know,

00:12:28 --> 00:12:33
			they just offer any answer that they have been programmed to give.

00:12:36 --> 00:12:37
			What I want you to think about it tonight,

00:12:39 --> 00:12:50
			is our purpose in this world simply to eat, sleep, dress, work, acquire some material things, and
enjoy outside ourselves. Is this the whole purpose of life?

00:12:51 --> 00:12:53
			Why were we born?

00:12:55 --> 00:13:06
			And what is the object of our existence? And what is the wisdom behind this creation of man and this
tremendous universe? Think about that question.

00:13:08 --> 00:13:35
			Now, some people argue that there's no proof of any divine origin, that there is no proof that
there's a God, and that there is no proof that this university and this universe has come about
through any divine purpose. And some people they argue this way, and they say that perhaps the world
came about by chance. And they say that human beings, they evolved from monkeys, excuse me, Mr.
Darwin.

00:13:39 --> 00:13:41
			But I never saw monkey cry.

00:13:43 --> 00:13:48
			I've never saw a monkey build up a rocket ship. I never saw a monkey fly a plane.

00:13:50 --> 00:13:54
			So if we have evolved from monkeys, monkeys should still be evolving.

00:13:56 --> 00:13:58
			And human beings should still be evolving.

00:13:59 --> 00:14:04
			And if we evolved from monkeys, monkeys should have the same sentiments.

00:14:05 --> 00:14:10
			They should have the same capacity. They should have the same emotion.

00:14:12 --> 00:14:16
			But monkeys do not have sentiments and they do not have emotions.

00:14:17 --> 00:14:19
			And they don't have the capacity to think

00:14:21 --> 00:14:41
			they act on instinct like all other primates. But human beings are able to cry and human beings are
able to laugh and human beings are able to feel sadness. The human being is able to feel joy,
because they have a mind and they have sentiment that is synchronized.

00:14:46 --> 00:14:52
			There are people who argue this way and they say that perhaps this world came about by chance.

00:14:53 --> 00:14:57
			Well, I want to discuss this whole idea of chance.

00:15:00 --> 00:15:17
			They argue that life doesn't have any different definite purpose. There is nothing that can be
proven, either by logic or science, that there is a God there is a purpose for any divine reason
behind this world. Here. I would like to mention a few verses of the Quran.

00:15:19 --> 00:15:24
			And there are probably people in this room who could recite this verse better than myself.

00:15:26 --> 00:15:27
			But as a Muslim,

00:15:29 --> 00:15:31
			most of us we know this verse

00:15:33 --> 00:15:36
			out of the blue live seminar in English and Tamil Nadu Bismillah.

00:15:38 --> 00:15:39
			In Luffy hulka some of it will

00:15:41 --> 00:15:42
			walk the last lady when

00:15:45 --> 00:15:52
			Al Bab Allah v of t Aman, Odin, movie,

00:15:55 --> 00:16:01
			Robin, math had ba tienen su Tanaka, Tina,

00:16:03 --> 00:16:04
			let me translate.

00:16:06 --> 00:16:47
			We seek the protection of the last panel data from every evil thing, a lot of power to Allah,
Almighty God most high mentioned to us in the Quran, that to Allah belongs the dominion of the
heavens and the earth, and that Allah has power over everything. And he says, Behold, in the
creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, they are indeed
signs for people of understanding human beings who celebrate the praises of Almighty God standing,
sitting, lying down on their sides, as they come to play, the wonders of the creation of the
heavens, and the earth was the thought,

00:16:48 --> 00:17:05
			our Lord, our sustainer, not for any foolish random purpose, has now created all of this Glory be to
the give us salvation from penalty of the help file. Now, here in these verses.

00:17:06 --> 00:17:55
			Almighty Allah, the creator, your creative mind, has mentioned very clearly to us by first drawing
our attention to the creation of ourselves, the different postures of the human body, the different
attitudes of the human psychology, he draws our attention to the heavens, the alternation of the
night, and the day, the permanence, the stars, the constellations, and then he says to us, that he
has not created this, he has not designed all of this here to any foolish or random purpose. When
you consider the heavenly bodies, you know that the design of it is beyond human capacity, and
beyond our own calculation, and imagination, it cannot be random, or it cannot be without purpose,

00:17:55 --> 00:18:06
			because we can see that it has been designed, if it has been designed like you and I would design
something for a purpose that Almighty God has designed all this for what

00:18:08 --> 00:18:19
			a purpose. It certainly cannot be just thrown together. For instance, if I took a you took 10
marbles, and we mocked him one to 10

00:18:21 --> 00:18:24
			different colored marbles, and we bought them one to 10.

00:18:26 --> 00:18:46
			We put them inside of a bag, and we shipped that bag up without looking inside of the bag. See how
many times you would have to go inside that bag? If you wanted to bring out marble number
1-234-567-8910. All in a row? Do you know how many chances that would take

00:18:47 --> 00:18:54
			in one bag and reached inside without looking? Do you know the chances of bringing them out? In
order?

00:18:55 --> 00:19:00
			The chances mathematically of 36 million to one.

00:19:03 --> 00:19:04
			Therefore

00:19:06 --> 00:19:07
			what about

00:19:09 --> 00:19:10
			the heavens?

00:19:13 --> 00:19:13
			What about

00:19:15 --> 00:19:19
			our solar system? our solar system has nine planets.

00:19:22 --> 00:19:34
			And our solar system is only one system inside of the Milky Way. Because our sun is one of the
smallest stars in the Milky Way.

00:19:36 --> 00:19:39
			And the Milky Way is one of millions

00:19:41 --> 00:19:43
			of galaxies.

00:19:45 --> 00:19:47
			And our galaxy

00:19:48 --> 00:19:53
			is one of millions of galaxies that form the cluster of a nebula

00:19:54 --> 00:19:57
			but yet our Earth has an organized environment

00:19:59 --> 00:20:00
			and I was

00:20:00 --> 00:20:18
			Solar System is an organized solar system. And our galaxy is an organized galaxy. And the cluster of
galaxies are also organized. And if we can see further than that, we'll see organization, micro and
macro organization that is all about what

00:20:19 --> 00:20:20
			it's all by design

00:20:22 --> 00:20:38
			must be respected brothers and sisters, we have to ask ourselves a further question. When you see a
bridge of building on automobile, you automatically consider the person or the company that has
constructed like, the beautiful buildings that we see in this country.

00:20:39 --> 00:21:09
			When you see an airplane, a rocket, a satellite, a large ship, you also think of how incredible a
vehicle that is, when you see a nuclear plant, or an orbiting space station, a super International
Airport, like which exists here in this country, you have to be thoroughly impressed with the
engineering dynamics that are involved. Yet, these are only things that are manufactured by human
beings who have limited minds.

00:21:10 --> 00:21:31
			Then what about the human body? With its massive and intricate control systems? Think about it.
Think about the brain, how it thinks, how it functions, how it analyzes, how it stores information,
how it retrieves information, how it distinguishes and categorize information in a million for the
second, just like that.

00:21:33 --> 00:21:35
			And it does that constantly.

00:21:36 --> 00:21:59
			Think about the brain for a moment. This is the brain that made the automobile, the rocket ships,
the boats, the so on, this is the brain who made that brain. Think about the heart pumps
continuously for 60 or 70 years without missing a beat. How many of you are controlling the beating
of your heart right now?

00:22:00 --> 00:22:04
			Who's controlling your lungs going in and out right now?

00:22:05 --> 00:22:20
			Who's controlling your pulse? Who's controlling even the blinking of your eyes? Who's controlling
your kidneys? And its function? Who's controlling? Who designed that this is being done by your
party without you're even asking for that?

00:22:22 --> 00:22:23
			Think about that.

00:22:25 --> 00:22:26
			What about the kidneys?

00:22:27 --> 00:22:57
			What kind of function? Do they carry? The purified infant of the body that performs hundreds of
chemical analysis simultaneously, and also controls the toxicity and the content of the body? And it
does this automatically. Think about your eyes, the human camera that adjust focus, interrupt
evaluates applies color automatically, the natural reception and adjustment to light and distance
automatically. Think about that.

00:22:58 --> 00:23:06
			Who created that? Who mastered that? Who designed that? Who plans that? And who regulates that?

00:23:07 --> 00:23:35
			The human beings themselves? Absolutely not. Then what about this universe? Think about this earth,
one planet and our solar system. And our solar system is one of the systems in the Milky Way. And
the Milky Way is one of the constellations in that galaxy. And there are millions of galaxies like
the Milky Way Think about that. And they are all in order. And they are all precise. They are not
colliding.

00:23:36 --> 00:23:45
			They're not conflicting. They're not conflicting with each other and they are not and they are just
swimming along as the Quran says. Is

00:23:47 --> 00:23:49
			that a catch up deal as

00:23:51 --> 00:23:55
			they are swimming in an orbit that has been determined for them previously?

00:23:57 --> 00:24:21
			have human beings set this into motion? And our human beings maintaining that precision? No, of
course not. Think about the oceans and the fish and the insects and the birds, the plants and the
bacteria, the chemical elements that have not been discovered and cannot even be detected with the
most sophisticated instruments, yet each of them has a law and an instinct that they follow.

00:24:23 --> 00:24:36
			did all of this synchronization balance harmony variation design maintenance, operation and infinite
numeration? Did this happen by chance? Or did it happen by design?

00:24:38 --> 00:24:47
			And also do these things function perpetually and perfectly by chance or by design?

00:24:48 --> 00:24:54
			And do they keep on reproducing themselves and maintaining themselves by checks

00:24:55 --> 00:24:56
			or by design?

00:25:00 --> 00:25:10
			No to say they have come about by chance, and that we came into existence by chance, and that our
lives are based upon chance, that will be illogical.

00:25:12 --> 00:25:21
			That will be foolish. And that will be an act of denial. And actually, you know, the word denial, it
doesn't mean a river, in Egypt.

00:25:26 --> 00:25:55
			At least it would indicate that however we came to be, that however this world came to be, it is
totally outside of the realm of human consciousness, and outside of the realm of human capability,
we would all agree to that. So it is outside the realm of human capability, and consciousness, yet
it is designed, it had to be designed by a supreme designer.

00:25:57 --> 00:26:01
			That be that almighty power of God,

00:26:03 --> 00:26:27
			your Creator, my Creator, who has the knowledge to design to proportion, who has given all of this
and is responsible for maintaining all of this is the only one that is deserving praise, recognition
and gratitude. That is, praise, recognition, and gratitude. If I gave each one of you sitting here
today, 100.

00:26:28 --> 00:26:30
			Just for coming here tonight, would you say thank you?

00:26:32 --> 00:26:33
			Of course you.

00:26:34 --> 00:26:35
			I'm not going to give it to you, though.

00:26:38 --> 00:26:39
			But you would be thankful.

00:26:43 --> 00:26:44
			So therefore,

00:26:45 --> 00:27:01
			what about your eyes? What about your kidneys? What about your brain? What about your life? Your
breath, your children? What about that? Who gave that to you? is the one who gave that to you, the
benefactor that gave you life?

00:27:03 --> 00:27:04
			Is he not

00:27:05 --> 00:27:06
			worthy of praise?

00:27:08 --> 00:27:11
			should not be grateful. And thank Almighty God.

00:27:13 --> 00:27:16
			Is that God, your creative mind?

00:27:18 --> 00:27:22
			Is that God not worthy of your recognition,

00:27:24 --> 00:27:25
			Your Worship and your gratitude?

00:27:26 --> 00:27:27
			My brothers.

00:27:28 --> 00:27:33
			That, in the nutshell, is the purpose of life, to be grateful,

00:27:34 --> 00:27:35
			to recognize

00:27:38 --> 00:27:49
			and also to worship. And worship basically means give to Almighty God the do which is doing, for
instance, if you live in someone's house, and you sign a contract called a lease.

00:27:51 --> 00:27:52
			Isn't that landlord?

00:27:53 --> 00:27:56
			Isn't they do you to pay that?

00:27:57 --> 00:28:00
			Yes, of course, you pay as a tribute.

00:28:01 --> 00:28:09
			You sign a contract, and you pay that rent religiously. Because you know, if you don't pay you will
be on the outside on the street.

00:28:11 --> 00:28:17
			What if Almighty God your Creator, my Creator, if he ordered us to pay rent for our bodies.

00:28:19 --> 00:28:41
			you rent cars, you rent phones, you rent houses, and you pay for it religiously. And when that red
comes up and they send you a notice you are very frantic to go and pay it so that your lights can
get cut off. You're very frantic to pay it so you don't get put out. You're very frantic to pay, but
you have been given a body,

00:28:42 --> 00:28:54
			your soul, your person is inside of a body and you're using that body to house you. But you don't
pay anything for it. Even you don't want to say thank you God.

00:28:55 --> 00:28:58
			Even you don't want to recognize God.

00:28:59 --> 00:29:08
			And you don't want to pay homage to God for what he has given you. Not that God needs your pay.
Because God is rich. He is

00:29:10 --> 00:29:17
			he is beyond the need of anyone giving something to him because he's the owner of everything.

00:29:19 --> 00:29:21
			So Almighty God says in the Quran

00:29:28 --> 00:29:46
			in the jambu verily, I have not committed the min max laughter Jimmy will ends in the afternoon
except for the worshipping the recognition and gratitude towards me, Almighty God our Creator. He
has made all of us

00:29:48 --> 00:29:51
			presently in this world, over 6 billion human beings.

00:29:52 --> 00:29:59
			And since human beings came and were arrived on this planet, he arrived he created all of them with
the same design.

00:30:00 --> 00:30:03
			For what purpose, that they will be grateful

00:30:05 --> 00:30:08
			that they will recognize that Almighty God has won.

00:30:10 --> 00:30:19
			And that they will be grateful to Almighty God, and that through their conduct and through their
behavior towards God, and to their conduct in the behavior towards one another.

00:30:20 --> 00:30:23
			This would be a form of worship.

00:30:25 --> 00:31:03
			This one Almighty God says, so our purpose in this life is to recognize the Creator, to be grateful
to that creator, to worship that creator, to surrender ourselves that creative, to obey the laws
that that creator has determined for us. So it means worship, this purpose in life. And what have we
do in the course of this worship, that system, the eating, the drinking, the dressing, the working,
the enjoying between the life and the death, all of this is just consequential, for we have been
created for worship. And that is the purpose of our lives.

00:31:05 --> 00:31:13
			I don't think that anyone who is scientific, analytical, or dialectical should have any argument
about that.

00:31:14 --> 00:31:30
			They may have some other complications inside of their personal lives, they may have some other
motivations inside of their hearts. But that is a set of dynamics, they will have to reconcile
within their own consciousness, and on the day when everyone will be judged.

00:31:31 --> 00:31:34
			And we know that there has to be a time

00:31:36 --> 00:31:38
			that we will all be judged, there has to be a time

00:31:40 --> 00:31:44
			for nobody goes to school, without the anticipation of a test.

00:31:46 --> 00:31:50
			Nobody goes to work without the anticipation of getting paid.

00:31:51 --> 00:32:01
			This is a part of life. So in fact, creator has designed us and made us and given us this, and we
are beneficiaries of all of this, it means to me that

00:32:02 --> 00:32:04
			there has to be a test.

00:32:06 --> 00:32:07
			There has to be a judgment.

00:32:09 --> 00:32:14
			And that's why we are concerned with this question, what is the purpose of life?

00:32:16 --> 00:32:18
			Now some non Muslims may ask the question,

00:32:22 --> 00:32:24
			what is Islam and the Muslims?

00:32:27 --> 00:32:29
			Islam is that system of faith?

00:32:31 --> 00:32:37
			In one scholar, or one point, he said it like this, and Islam is this land

00:32:38 --> 00:32:43
			law even though he will love it

00:32:44 --> 00:32:47
			was too shabby. We'll cover what?

00:32:48 --> 00:32:51
			So I've translated. He said, Islam

00:32:52 --> 00:32:59
			is that system of submitting to Almighty God, to the obvious principle that there is a creator.

00:33:00 --> 00:33:02
			According to the strict

00:33:04 --> 00:33:08
			principle of monotheism, that means that God is only one,

00:33:09 --> 00:33:20
			not five, not 500, not half of something, not something at all, not a part of something. But the
owner of all things. So monotheism, like Abraham

00:33:22 --> 00:33:29
			was a doula who and surrendering to him being helpless to him and submitting oneself to him

00:33:30 --> 00:33:35
			and being obedient to God and what he has ordered us in Scripture.

00:33:36 --> 00:33:50
			And rejecting all types of polytheism and rejecting all kinds of disobedience and disbelief. And all
of the branches that are attached to that

00:33:53 --> 00:33:57
			these young men that are sitting in front of me I'd like to know their names. What's your name, sir?

00:33:58 --> 00:34:01
			George, George, and your name sir.

00:34:05 --> 00:34:06
			Alan.

00:34:08 --> 00:34:10
			Mashallah, and your name sir?

00:34:11 --> 00:34:13
			Lloyd. Lloyd.

00:34:15 --> 00:34:19
			William, Mashallah. And this is not an unusual

00:34:25 --> 00:34:28
			Mashallah, so look, you for gentlemen.

00:34:30 --> 00:34:33
			You found your way here, this means you are responsible.

00:34:35 --> 00:34:38
			Maybe you were invited here by a Muslim friend.

00:34:40 --> 00:34:42
			Maybe you have read something about Islam before.

00:34:43 --> 00:34:50
			I would like to ask you how many of you would be willing to say that you would witness that we have
to have one creator.

00:34:53 --> 00:34:54
			That there is one creator.

00:34:57 --> 00:34:58
			George, do you witness that

00:35:00 --> 00:35:01
			Hello,

00:35:03 --> 00:35:04
			Boyd, Lloyd,

00:35:06 --> 00:35:07
			William

00:35:09 --> 00:35:09
			and

00:35:13 --> 00:35:14
			Toronto.

00:35:15 --> 00:35:20
			Do you recognize this 1321? Yes.

00:35:21 --> 00:35:28
			Have you read something about Islam? Have you read the Quran? And do you know anything about the
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon?

00:35:30 --> 00:35:41
			You have, okay? If you have thought about Islam as a system of life, and if you ever read something
about the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him as

00:35:42 --> 00:35:46
			a prophet as a messenger, as a pattern of conduct.

00:35:47 --> 00:35:56
			And if you have considered the principles of Islam as a system, would any one of you consider

00:35:57 --> 00:35:58
			to accept Islam?

00:36:01 --> 00:36:05
			Whichever one of you would like to consider accepting Islam, please just stand up.

00:36:16 --> 00:36:16
			Bring the dog

00:36:19 --> 00:36:21
			now, George,

00:36:22 --> 00:36:23
			Allah and Turin

00:36:25 --> 00:36:31
			the words I'm going to say what, brother William? And by the way, my father's name was William.

00:36:33 --> 00:36:35
			The words I will say to him,

00:36:36 --> 00:36:41
			if you accept those words, then you also can just end income.

00:36:42 --> 00:36:45
			And they become a Muslim is that like some kind of?

00:36:46 --> 00:36:47
			It's not some kind of,

00:36:48 --> 00:36:50
			we call it like a, there's no

00:36:52 --> 00:36:53
			special procedure.

00:36:54 --> 00:36:55
			There's no ceremony.

00:36:57 --> 00:37:05
			It is just two statements that resonates in your mind and inside your heart. Once you accept that
statement.

00:37:07 --> 00:37:09
			No, no, he can stand right there. Thank you.

00:37:11 --> 00:37:17
			There's two more non Muslims behind George, whether they'll come in and sit, so I can see them,
please.

00:37:20 --> 00:37:20
			Let them come.

00:37:22 --> 00:37:23
			Thank you very much.

00:37:25 --> 00:37:32
			If there's any non Muslim here that like to come here, and join us, just just come here and sit
stand next to William.

00:37:33 --> 00:37:39
			Even if there is a lady who's a non Muslim, you don't have to be shy, just come and stand next to
William.

00:37:41 --> 00:38:04
			what you will get is the benefit of guidance. When I'm selling something, we're not forcing anybody.
We're not trying to convince somebody we're not trying to bring him in, change his life, because
that will please us know, we're offering to him the same guidance that we have embraced. And that
just in America, just last 10 years, more than 600,000 people have accepted just like

00:38:11 --> 00:38:12
			brother William,

00:38:14 --> 00:38:19
			you bear witness, you understand that there's nothing nothing to be watched except for Monica.

00:38:22 --> 00:38:28
			And you understand that by accepting this, you mean that? God has no partners,

00:38:29 --> 00:38:31
			that he is supreme.

00:38:34 --> 00:38:49
			And you accept that Mohammed? is a prophet and a messenger, just like Jesus, like Adam, like Moses,
like Abraham, like David, like Solomon, but that like Adam is the first man. Muhammad is the last
prophet, you accept that?

00:38:53 --> 00:39:06
			Then I want you to just say these words, because the words are for you. As a testimony, you know,
there's a scientist that said, every sound that we make,

00:39:07 --> 00:39:10
			the universe registers that sound forever.

00:39:13 --> 00:39:14
			So when you say this word,

00:39:15 --> 00:39:25
			we will recognize that witness, and the universe will recognize and witness and on their judgement,
the universe will bear witness to what you have said.

00:39:28 --> 00:39:32
			So this is for your benefit. And it's been written down just

00:39:35 --> 00:39:44
			so say after me, I'm saying in Arabic, because it's a prescription. You know, when you go to the
doctor, and after he examined, he writes a prescription right, you don't know the language.

00:39:48 --> 00:39:50
			But you trust the doctor.

00:39:51 --> 00:39:54
			And then he sent it over to his cousin to pharmacist

00:39:56 --> 00:39:59
			and you trust the pharmacist that he will do what the doctor has to say.

00:40:00 --> 00:40:09
			So I want you to trust me that when I say this Arabic words and you say after me, I'm going to
translate it but you got to trust what I'm saying. This is exactly what it is okay?

00:40:10 --> 00:40:10
			Say

00:40:26 --> 00:40:29
			Mina Mina sh shaytani

00:40:30 --> 00:40:35
			r rajim Bismillah Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim

00:40:37 --> 00:40:37
			Allah

00:40:39 --> 00:40:43
			Bob Vila Mohamed Mohamed brosseau, la,

00:40:44 --> 00:40:48
			la, la, la, la, la, la La,

00:40:52 --> 00:40:57
			la, la, la la, la la, la la la, la, la,

00:40:59 --> 00:40:59
			la,

00:41:01 --> 00:41:02
			la, la,

00:41:03 --> 00:41:03
			la,

00:41:06 --> 00:41:06
			la,

00:41:09 --> 00:41:09
			la La,

00:41:11 --> 00:41:15
			la, la, la la. wa salam.

00:41:19 --> 00:41:19
			Yes.

00:41:21 --> 00:42:04
			And we love Jesus, his mission, his message, and his example we love him. But the Prophet, peace be
upon him told us that when the Christian people accept Islam, they should say something else to be
clear. And that is to say that Jesus Christ, that He is the son of Mary, and that he is a spirit and
a word from God, and that his mother is pure, you accept them. So say that after me, I bear witness
have been a witness and Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ. He is, is the son of Mary, and that he is a word
that he is a word and as a spirit from Almighty God from Almighty God,

00:42:05 --> 00:42:07
			and his mother's peel. Amen.

00:42:19 --> 00:42:22
			Brother, William, he has made his transition

00:42:23 --> 00:42:24
			from

00:42:25 --> 00:42:28
			having no knowledge about Islam,

00:42:29 --> 00:42:42
			to at least say in the words of Islam, he has become a Muslim. William by you're accepting Islam, if
there are any sins you committed against God, those sins have been eliminated, they've been
cancelled.

00:42:43 --> 00:42:51
			If you had any debt, with God, that debt has been canceled. But if you owe somebody else money you
got to pay.

00:42:54 --> 00:42:57
			You are the best Muslim in this house today.

00:42:59 --> 00:43:01
			We ask God to guide you to preserve you.

00:43:08 --> 00:43:16
			Strengthen you give you light. So when you go back to your non Muslim family, you will have the
strength to be able to keep this conviction will not be easy.

00:43:17 --> 00:43:35
			But if you feel God, He will give you a way out. He will give you solutions. And he will provide you
from somewhere which you cannot imagine. Now Muslims, I know you want to hug William, you want to
save me and all that. But you know what? We don't need the taxpayer.

00:43:37 --> 00:43:42
			You can save the tax bill. Reach in your pockets and take out some money.

00:43:43 --> 00:43:44
			That's what I said.

00:43:46 --> 00:43:48
			Reach in your pockets and take out some money

00:43:49 --> 00:43:51
			and give them a gift.

00:43:52 --> 00:43:56
			Maybe there's something he needs to do as a new Muslim.

00:43:57 --> 00:44:25
			And he will use that gift. Maybe he will use that gift to buy some books. Maybe we'll use that gift
to go visit his mother. Maybe you use that gift your semi in some way that you will also share with
him what he has done here tonight. And so when I give anybody Shahada, I pass the Shahada on to
them, I tell the audience take out some money. So most Muslims, that's what you do now. Take some
money out, they will pass something around, they will collect it and inshallah they will give it to
him as a gift.

00:44:26 --> 00:44:27
			You understand what I said?

00:44:30 --> 00:44:48
			This is the gift of nonprofit peace be upon me Never refused any gift. You didn't accept Islam for
that. But this is a sign of our recognition. And it's a contribution from us to you. To help you in
your struggle with Islam. I will give you my my card.

00:44:49 --> 00:44:59
			My administrative assistant will give you our card so that myself as a person holding your hand
transferring this to you I'm responsible, but the brothers who have this local office

00:45:00 --> 00:45:08
			They are also responsible. But when you go home and wash, you know as a celebration, and you pray
pray for me for us.

00:45:12 --> 00:45:15
			You remember that? Did you pray for everybody else? Okay.

00:45:17 --> 00:45:34
			So we're mela, mela provide you whatever you need to shop up, this is your Muslim family. So you
already have your own family, your blood family, and you rely upon them for something and you are
responsible towards them. But now this is your Muslim family, all of the brothers and sisters here.

00:45:42 --> 00:45:49
			For the other non Muslims, this is the starting point for you. Think about what we have discussed
here this evening.

00:45:50 --> 00:45:52
			Talk to your Muslim friend,

00:45:53 --> 00:45:59
			colleague, co worker, read the Quran, read about the life of the Prophet Muhammad peace.

00:46:00 --> 00:46:01
			And for the Muslims.

00:46:02 --> 00:46:04
			Think about what I said in the beginning,

00:46:05 --> 00:46:12
			that when you come from your homes, to come to a lecture, or Mahavira, or some convention or
whatever.

00:46:13 --> 00:46:29
			Think about the non Muslims that you pass by the ones that you work for the ones that you work with
the ones that work in your homes, and inside your places of business, think about them, because on
the Day of Judgment, they will be witnesses for you, or against you.

00:46:30 --> 00:46:33
			I want to again, I want to thank His Highness.

00:46:34 --> 00:46:59
