And so the days in which we are
in right now,
the first 10 days of this month of
Dhul Hijjah which began
on Wednesday,
These days are the best days of the
year. And so because these days are special,
because these days are virtuous,
Allah made good deeds
and haybada
to be more beloved to Him than at
any other time of the year. The Prophet
said,
That there are no days
in which good deeds, righteous deeds are more
beloved to Allah than during these days. And
so the companions, they asked, You Rasulawah,
Rasulullah, not even performing jihad in the path
of Allah. Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa wasallam said,
He said, no. Not even jihad in the
path of Allah, except a man who goes
out in jihad with his self and his
wealth, and he doesn't come back with anything,
meaning that he is martyred, he attained shahada
in the path of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
This hadith was narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas
and the one who narrated it from him
was Sahid ibn Jubayr. It is reported that
Sahid ibn Jubayr When these 10 days would
come, these first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah,

would devote himself to hibadah, to such an
extent
that if a person wanted to find him,
he would be able to find him, he
wouldn't be able to meet him. And so
the salah, they used to spend these days
in the hibadah of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
They used to devote themselves
and they used to seclude themselves in the
ibadah of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and not
busy themselves
with anything else.
