We move on to the next parable which is in suited to the fact.
In fact it is a last verse the last I have sought to fetch
and this parable Allah subhanahu attallah presents to us concerning the companions, the Sahaba of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
Allah Subhana who Allah says, Mohammed is the Messenger of Allah.
And those who are with him,
are severe.
Our stern against the disbelievers while being merciful and compassionate among themselves.
You see them bowing and prostrating
rock and so Jaden making record making sujood. In Salah,
seeking bounty,
and pleasure from Allah.
Their mark is on their faces from the trace of their sujood.
That is their description in the Torah.
And their description in the Injeel is like a seed that sprouts its branches, making it strong, then it becomes thick, standing firmly on its stem, delighting the sores, the planters, the farmers, so that
through this allow me in rage, the disbelievers so that allow me in rage by them by these companions, the disbelievers
a lot law has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them. Allah has promised them forgiveness and a great reward.
Now what is the background of this parable, basically similar to what was revealed concerning the famous event that took place in the life of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam
the soul of alhuda via the Treaty
of a baby.
And so, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and his companions were heading to Mecca to meet korumburra
and
Before they were able to reach Mecca,
on the outskirts way before Mecca, they
ended up
negotiating with
the co founder of koresh.
And it's a long story, but the point here is that
the mushy Kuhn of Mecca,
they tried to make the believers to compromise.
And so when they entered into their treaty with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
and they were, you know, just starting to write out the treaty.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam began by
writing Bismillah Ar Rahman AR Rahim, In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious.
And so the co founder of Quraysh, right away, they stopped him.
And they said, we don't
we don't agree that
these are the names of Allah.
Then the prophet SAW Selim said, Okay, no problem. And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
wrote, this is a treaty between Mohammed Rasool Allah, Mohammed, the Messenger of Allah.
And right there and then the co founder of Croatia again stopped him and said, No, no, no, no.
We don't recognize you as being the Messenger of Allah. If we did, we wouldn't be here today.
And so
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Okay, no problem, we'll just rate Mohammed.
So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
was in a very difficult position, because
he had to compromise.
And he had the companions with him.
Who It was very, very difficult for them to accept such compromises.
To the point where Mr. Ravi Allahu Allah, he said, you know, sudo LS now I will help go home and battling
we upon the truth, and they're upon falsehood. Why should we be humiliated in such a way.
And so it's a very long story, you would study this in the Syrah, the biography of the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, this event, and what took place, and how a law revealed sort of took effect.
Right after this treaty took place,
and how Allah revealed his surah, to console the Prophet sallallahu, Alayhi, wasallam, and unbelievers, that look,
it was not a defeat,
the compromises you made, you made them
for the greater good.
And this treaty was not a defeat, but rather, it was a victory. And that is the meaning of effect, or effect means victory,
and conquest.
And so this treaty was actually a victory for the believers. And once again, I don't want to get into the details of it. But why was it a victory? That is something that can be
learned in the spirit of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The point here is
that Allah subhanahu wa taala revealed this ruler to console, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the believers and this area. This last verse, is an example of that.
A loss of Hannah who Allah says Mohammed Rasool Allah.
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,
to console the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the believers, when the disbelievers said no, don't write that down because we don't recognize you as being the Messenger of Allah. So Allah revealed, Mohammed Rasulullah, to console the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the believers that whether you like it or not, oh, kuffar, almost recon, whether you like it or not, he is definitely the Messenger of Allah.
And the testimony of ally sufficient.
So don't worry about what they say or Mohammed, or companions Don't worry about what they say. Allah has testified from above the seven heavens, that you are demonstrator of Allah.
And then coming to the parable that Allah gives us here. A law compares the companions of the messenger
Allah Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Allah compares his Sahaba, to a strong plant.
And this comparison and description that Allah gives, Allah mentions that it is mentioned in the NGO. It is mentioned in the NGO, the NGO being the gospel that Allah sent to resolve his Salaam
that does not really exist in its original form anymore.
And so Allah tells us, this is the description
of the supporters of the Prophet sallallahu, how do you sell them
in the NGO,
and so
a strong plant
that will give you good fruits and vegetables.
It is the one that has a strong firm stem
from which branches off shoot, they stick out.
And on these branches, we find the fruits and vegetables.
And this is the kind of plant that every single farmer, every single planter
is delighted to see.
The plant that he started with just one seed, and then he cultivated it,
taking care of it, maintaining it until it grew.
To stand on its own,
it stem becoming thick and strong. And then
it branches sticking out with the fruits and the vegetables on them.
And so it is like this plant that Allah has described the Sahaba the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And Allah told us that this this description is mentioned in the Injeel as a glad tidings of a prophet to come in the future, who will have such supporters with him.
And so the Prophet here in this parable, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is like the grower of the seed, the farmer, the planter. And the companions are the offshoots that supported him.
And so when Islam began, how did it begin?
It began very small,
with only a few supporters.
And that is like the seed that you plant.
It starts small,
and then it starts to grow. Likewise, Islam when it began in Mecca, it began small, with only a few supporters, but then it started to grow.
And it grew and grew and grew, until Islam stood on its own
and established a state in Medina.
And just like the plant standing on its own stem,
just like the plant that stands on its own stem
independent not needing anything to to to hold it up. Likewise, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was in Medina.
And those who were supporting him were his companions. But how did all of that happen?
It happened with the support of the of the companions. And so Allah subhanahu wa tada it says,
at the very end here, Allah subhanho wa Taala says de la be human kofa Allah gives us this picture
of the companions with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And then Allah tells us
that
this scene, it delights the plant grower,
and at the same time,
it is a source for dismay.
It is a source of rage for the disbelievers. Meaning that when the kuffaar they see this description of the companions around the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam it enrages them and causes them envy.
Like the munafo cool
and the other kuffaar in Medina
when they saw the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, having established his state
Having these companions, the Ansari and mohajir known as his supporters, every time they would see such a scene, it would enrage them.
It would cause them to become envious.
Look at their power look at their,
their, they're looking at how they grew to become strong like this.
And so this is the parable that Allah gives us concerning the companions of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Among the lessons that we learned from this parable is first and foremost,
the only source of the glory, of power of elevation for this oma
is by uniting upon the rope of Allah,
holding fast all of us together, to the rope of Allah, adhering to the Quran, into the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
upon the understanding of his companions, who were his supporters, if we hold on like this, then not only will we be successful as an owner, but also we will be a source of rage for the for the co founder and their enemies of Israel.
But that, unfortunately, is not the case today. But rather, the enemies of Islam have divided the Muslims upon nationalistic lines, ethnic lines, racial lines, tribal lines. And so when they look at us, they don't look at us
and have this rage that
the enemies of Islam did have in the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam when they looked at the Muslims, instead, when they look at us today, they look at us and they laugh.
And they're hesitant Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that a day will come
when our enemies will divide us and eat us up, like a group of people come together around a dish, and each one taking a bite, eating from that plate.
The second lesson that we learned from this parable is
the great virtue and status of the Sahaba of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
Allah has praised them in this one verse, along with many other ayat in the Quran,
Lacan robiola who
I mean, me, Nina you value Runa Cata shahdara. In the same Surah Surah. Allah says he is pleased with the believers who gave you their pledge of allegiance under the tree. Again, this is related to the story of the Treaty of Westphalia.
And so
the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
are not like any other people to ever come in history, but rather, they have a certain status
that deserves our respect and honor.
For had it not been for them.
After a loss aid and support,
then this Dean would never have reached where he did.
And this Dean would never have reached me and you today, had it not been for them? Who took what they learned from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
and then spread it
across the globe.
And so, the companions of the Prophet sallallahu, how do you sell them? They deserve our utmost respect.
And it is part of our airmen to love them,
to respect them,
and not to dislike a single one of them, not to disrespect a single one of them.
And whoever does disrespect them
and accuses them of any evil, then there's no doubt that such a person
he has put himself in a grave danger.
And
there are so many sects out there who attribute themselves to Islam who curse Oh, right curse. The Companions of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, especially the best among them, like Abu Bakr and Omar, and the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, there is no doubt that such sects are far from Islam. And there's no doubt that whoever does such thing, curses the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, there's no doubt that they are doomed.
And far from the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala. The third lesson that we learned from this parable
is that although the companions really Allahu anhu him, although these are pastors, and had the chance to be with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and support him
to the point where Allah gives us this parable of how they supported him.
Although they surpassed us they had that chance and we didn't have that chance.
We do have the chance of catching up to them, by loving them, by respecting them by supporting them as they supported the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, because as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
Nah, Nah, man,
that a person is with those who he loves.
A person will be with those who he loved in this dunya whoever you loved, you will be with them on the day of judgment in the
if you love the companions of the Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam if you love the Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam and you prove your love to him and to the companions, then you will be with them on the Day of Judgment. And in that era. If you love
evil people,
and you followed in their footsteps, and you will be among them.
And so, we have the opportunity, a huge opportunity to catch up to the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and that is by loving them by respecting them and supporting them as they supported the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
