00:00:39 --> 00:00:41
			Alikum warahmatu Allahi wa barakato

00:00:46 --> 00:00:47
			last week we went over

00:00:48 --> 00:00:50
			the Battle of hijab

00:00:53 --> 00:00:58
			or the Battle of the Trench from the time

00:00:59 --> 00:01:11
			the enemy forces they arrive to find the trench in front of them until their withdrawal until they
withdraw.

00:01:13 --> 00:01:15
			And so we looked at some of the

00:01:16 --> 00:01:19
			minor skirmishes and duels that occurred

00:01:22 --> 00:01:26
			and then how their enemies laid the siege on Medina.

00:01:27 --> 00:01:44
			And then we looked at the strategy of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in breaking that
coalition army and then finally how this battle ended with Allah subhanho wa Taala spearing the
Muslims any fighting

00:01:45 --> 00:01:46
			as Allah said,

00:01:48 --> 00:01:54
			welcome Phil, Allahu me Nina, betta, ALLAH spirit, the believers fighting.

00:01:56 --> 00:01:58
			Now before we move on,

00:01:59 --> 00:02:01
			from the battle of hijab,

00:02:03 --> 00:02:04
			one final

00:02:05 --> 00:02:08
			item remains to be discussed concerning this battle.

00:02:10 --> 00:02:12
			And that is the fate

00:02:13 --> 00:02:14
			of

00:02:15 --> 00:02:19
			the treacherous tribe of Banu river.

00:02:22 --> 00:02:23
			So we mentioned

00:02:25 --> 00:02:26
			that then Kaurava,

00:02:27 --> 00:02:32
			the last remaining Jewish tribe, in Medina

00:02:34 --> 00:02:39
			they ended up participating in the Battle of hijab alongside

00:02:40 --> 00:02:43
			alongside Quraysh and their allies

00:02:47 --> 00:02:48
			now let's go back to

00:02:50 --> 00:02:51
			a conversation

00:02:52 --> 00:02:58
			that occurred between gad in acid who was the head of Bunker Eva

00:02:59 --> 00:03:02
			and he is the author awkward

00:03:04 --> 00:03:07
			who was one of the leaders of the new another

00:03:10 --> 00:03:13
			and we know that Ben will not lead were expelled from Medina already

00:03:15 --> 00:03:17
			and we know that some of them

00:03:20 --> 00:03:20
			were

00:03:22 --> 00:03:24
			some of them ended up going to a sham Syria

00:03:26 --> 00:03:29
			and others ended up going to haber just north of Medina.

00:03:31 --> 00:03:34
			So he had been locked up was one of those went to

00:03:36 --> 00:03:36
			Hiber.

00:03:39 --> 00:03:48
			But he carried on his fight against Rasul Allah, He said a long rally he was saying and we know when
we discussed the Battle of hijab,

00:03:49 --> 00:03:51
			how, you know this battle

00:03:53 --> 00:03:53
			ended up

00:03:56 --> 00:04:00
			starting in the first place, how is it that all these

00:04:01 --> 00:04:07
			various tribes brought their armies it was because of the efforts of men who unknowingly

00:04:08 --> 00:04:23
			who were expelled to hyper they wanted revenge. They themselves have no power. There are a small
tribe of the Jews. So they got Quraysh and a lot of and all these tribes to come and lay siege to
Medina.

00:04:24 --> 00:04:26
			Now before moving on,

00:04:28 --> 00:04:32
			some background on this individual Shoghi even awkward.

00:04:33 --> 00:04:41
			We previously mentioned a dialogue that took place between him and his brother, Abu Yasser

00:04:42 --> 00:04:45
			when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam arrived in Medina

00:04:47 --> 00:04:48
			from the Hijra

00:04:49 --> 00:04:51
			on the parcels on first comes to Medina

00:04:53 --> 00:04:56
			Abu Yassir asks his brother Hui,

00:04:57 --> 00:05:00
			if Mohammed is indeed

00:05:00 --> 00:05:03
			He the prophet that the Jews had been waiting for.

00:05:05 --> 00:05:06
			So he says, Yes, it's him.

00:05:08 --> 00:05:11
			So we asked him then asks, Are you sure?

00:05:12 --> 00:05:14
			So he says, Yes, I'm sure.

00:05:15 --> 00:05:19
			So then Abuja said he asked him, so what are you going to do about it?

00:05:21 --> 00:05:22
			He said,

00:05:23 --> 00:05:29
			again, a bit awkward. He said, by God, I will be his enemy for as long as I live.

00:05:30 --> 00:05:33
			I will be his enemy for as long as I live.

00:05:34 --> 00:05:38
			And so he had been awkward. He ended up

00:05:40 --> 00:05:44
			you know, keeping to his promise. And so although he was expelled from Medina,

00:05:46 --> 00:05:54
			with his tribe, then you unaware, he continues to conspire against Rasulullah sallallahu it was

00:05:56 --> 00:06:02
			so he went to Cabo even Essent who was the leader of blucora Eva,

00:06:03 --> 00:06:06
			the last remaining tribe, in Medina.

00:06:07 --> 00:06:08
			And we mentioned

00:06:09 --> 00:06:11
			that when the Aza became

00:06:12 --> 00:06:28
			the curator was inside Medina. And part of fortifying Medina included their homes and their forts.
So when caddy even acid sees, show you approaching, he locks his gates.

00:06:30 --> 00:06:31
			So you knocked on the door.

00:06:32 --> 00:06:35
			He says, Open for me.

00:06:36 --> 00:06:43
			GitHub says, damn, Yoo hoo, yay. You are an evil man. And you bring misfortune.

00:06:44 --> 00:06:49
			I have made a pact with Mohammed, that I am not going to break my agreement with him.

00:06:50 --> 00:06:54
			I have never found him to be anything but trustworthy and truthful.

00:06:56 --> 00:06:58
			So he says,

00:07:00 --> 00:07:01
			Open the door so that I could talk to you.

00:07:03 --> 00:07:15
			God is an asset he says I will not. Then he insults card by saying, I swear the only reason you're
locking meal is because you're afraid that I'm gonna share your dinner with you.

00:07:17 --> 00:07:20
			So this embarrass card. And so he opened the door.

00:07:22 --> 00:07:29
			So yay. He says, I bring you glory of all times and a sea of good news.

00:07:30 --> 00:07:39
			Caps and what are you talking about? Forget he says, I bring you Quraysh with their chiefs and their
nobles, whom I have left in camped

00:07:41 --> 00:07:47
			along with a lot of time with their chiefs and their nobles, who I have positioned near now.

00:07:48 --> 00:07:56
			They have made a treaty that they will not leave until we completely destroy Muhammad and those with
and those with him.

00:07:58 --> 00:08:00
			So Cab he responded back.

00:08:01 --> 00:08:03
			What you bring me I swear

00:08:04 --> 00:08:07
			is shame forever, and a cloud that has lost its rain.

00:08:09 --> 00:08:12
			So it's thundering and lightning, and there's nothing in it.

00:08:13 --> 00:08:22
			Damn you who you leave me to maintain my pact with him. I have never found Muhammad to be anything
but trustworthy and honest.

00:08:23 --> 00:08:34
			And so he he could not take no for an answer. He insisted for Bernie cooroibah to break their
agreement with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:08:36 --> 00:08:42
			And so that is exactly what ended up happening. He didn't give up until

00:08:43 --> 00:08:44
			he got

00:08:45 --> 00:08:48
			Khabib an acid and burn carova to

00:08:49 --> 00:08:56
			basically join that. And so this shows you how evil this man was created. Get caught up

00:09:00 --> 00:09:00
			now

00:09:02 --> 00:09:03
			the Battle

00:09:04 --> 00:09:05
			of Azov is over.

00:09:07 --> 00:09:10
			And Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam heads back home

00:09:11 --> 00:09:13
			and he takes off his armor.

00:09:14 --> 00:09:14
			And he takes a

00:09:16 --> 00:09:32
			shot all day long manhunt says and this isn't Sahil Buhari. She says when the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam returned from the trench and he had put down his arms and he had taken a bath
Gibreel came to him and said

00:09:33 --> 00:09:35
			so you have put down your arms.

00:09:36 --> 00:09:38
			We have not done so.

00:09:39 --> 00:09:45
			I swear by Allah proceed to them. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said were to

00:09:47 --> 00:09:49
			debris it says over there any pointed towards

00:09:51 --> 00:09:53
			the dwellings of Daniel Cordova.

00:09:55 --> 00:09:58
			Now the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as we know

00:09:59 --> 00:10:00
			and the Muslim

00:10:00 --> 00:10:08
			He's had suffered a lot during the siege. We spoke about this last week. They were exhausted, they
were cooled. They were hungry.

00:10:10 --> 00:10:16
			Now when they finally got time to rest Gibreel comes and tells them to go

00:10:17 --> 00:10:24
			and fight by Mukuro Eva, and so, there is no rest for them at this point

00:10:26 --> 00:10:30
			and so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he felt that

00:10:31 --> 00:10:33
			the matter was so urgent

00:10:34 --> 00:10:36
			that he got up and he called the Sahaba

00:10:39 --> 00:10:41
			and he told them to rush

00:10:42 --> 00:10:44
			to Bamako, Reva he said

00:10:47 --> 00:10:50
			la you saw Leanna had to come in Luffy when you Paraiba

00:10:53 --> 00:11:05
			he said do not pray until you reach binuclear do not pray salatu Rasul. Now you saw Leandra Comilla,
Surah, Illa, viewbank, Riva. So, it was a matter of urgency

00:11:09 --> 00:11:14
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was rushing them saying Hurry up, we don't have any time.

00:11:16 --> 00:11:21
			You know, it may be time for salata Rasul, but we'll pray when we get there.

00:11:24 --> 00:11:26
			And so, when the Muslims reach there,

00:11:28 --> 00:11:47
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam with an army of 3000 men. He laid siege to their dwellings
and their forts. As we know, the Jews of Medina, all three tribes. They had built forts, they would
live in forts surrounded by wolves.

00:11:48 --> 00:11:55
			And so it was not easy to just go and fight them. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
camped

00:11:56 --> 00:11:59
			out and laid siege to them.

00:12:00 --> 00:12:03
			And Allah subhanahu wa taala tells us about this.

00:12:04 --> 00:12:06
			After mentioning everything that happened in

00:12:11 --> 00:12:21
			after that, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, What nzlr lady you know whom I mean athletes treat him
well, culture fair view, Kenobi humor rod,

00:12:22 --> 00:12:37
			Fairy, you can talk to Luna, our taxi Runa Federica. And Allah brought down those from the People of
the Book, who had supported the enemy Alliance from their strongholds, and Allah casts terror into
the hearts.

00:12:39 --> 00:12:50
			You the believers killed some of them, and you took others as captives as we're gonna see. We're
gonna see what happens. Basically, in the end, they end up surrendering.

00:12:52 --> 00:12:57
			But Allah tells us here that it was he who brought them down from their forts.

00:12:58 --> 00:13:00
			They were hiding in their forts fortified

00:13:01 --> 00:13:07
			and Allah brought him down. And he put terror in their hearts fear, a roadmap

00:13:09 --> 00:13:45
			and Allah tells us, some of them you killed and others you took as prisoners and captors then Allah
subhana wa Tada says, Well Oh, right, they're coming out of the home. Where the wrong home while I'm
while at home, while Aruba limitata Ooh Ha, McCann Allahu Allah kritischen Khedira Allah also caused
you to take over their land and their homes and their wealth and their properties as well as lands
that you have not yet set foot on. And Allah is most capable of doing everything.

00:13:47 --> 00:13:48
			So, what ended up happening

00:13:50 --> 00:13:56
			the Muslims ended up laying siege for 25 to 27 days.

00:13:59 --> 00:14:00
			So,

00:14:02 --> 00:14:16
			cabin in acid, the leader we said the leader of mineral Karela he gathers His people and He gives
them options. He says, You are aware of the difficult position that we find ourselves in.

00:14:17 --> 00:14:20
			I am offering you three possibilities to choose from.

00:14:23 --> 00:14:28
			The first one is to believe in this man, Muhammad and to follow Him

00:14:29 --> 00:14:45
			by Allah Now we are definitely sure that he is a prophet sent by Allah. He is indeed the One who has
been described to us in our book. If you do so, you will spare your own lives and protect your
children and your families.

00:14:48 --> 00:14:51
			So his people objected. And they said

00:14:52 --> 00:14:55
			we will never abandon the Torah

00:14:56 --> 00:14:58
			and substitute anything else for it.

00:14:59 --> 00:14:59
			So

00:15:00 --> 00:15:18
			So Cab he said, since you refuse this possibility, then I suggest to you that we kill our women and
children, and go out to fight Mohamed and his followers. Let us kill our women and children, and
let's go and fight. If we do so,

00:15:19 --> 00:15:24
			we can fight much harder. Since we have no responsibility behind us,

00:15:26 --> 00:15:30
			we can fight him until Allah decides between between us and Him.

00:15:31 --> 00:15:38
			If we are exterminated, if we are defeated, then we will face death without any worry about our
families.

00:15:40 --> 00:15:45
			If on the other hand, we achieve victory, we will soon find new women and young children.

00:15:47 --> 00:15:48
			So they said,

00:15:49 --> 00:15:54
			What would be the purpose of our lives if we kill these poor women and children?

00:15:57 --> 00:16:07
			So cabbie, he said, If you refuse this also, then the only thing I can suggest to you is that since
tonight is

00:16:09 --> 00:16:10
			the night of the Sabbath,

00:16:12 --> 00:16:19
			Saturday night, it may well be that Mohammed and his followers may relax their watch,

00:16:21 --> 00:16:33
			thinking that we won't do anything serious. On this night, since we don't fight on the Sabbath, then
let us take them by surprise, and fight them to the bitter end.

00:16:34 --> 00:16:35
			So they said,

00:16:36 --> 00:16:51
			you want to spoil our Sabbath and violate it in a way that has never been done before except by
those whom you know, and they received the punishment. That's how the Sabbath except that Allah
tells us in the Quran,

00:16:53 --> 00:16:56
			so and what what ended up happening to them, or what turned them into

00:16:57 --> 00:17:05
			monkeys and pigs. So they're saying you want us to violate the Sabbath, and then the same thing is
gonna happen to us.

00:17:06 --> 00:17:08
			So one of them, he said,

00:17:09 --> 00:17:16
			How do you expect us to take him by surprise, when you can see that they are getting stronger day by
day.

00:17:18 --> 00:17:20
			In the early days of the siege,

00:17:21 --> 00:17:34
			they were in their positions during the day, and they were treating at night. Now we see them
maintaining the siege, day and night. So the surprise element is not there. It's not in our hands.

00:17:36 --> 00:17:47
			So CAD, even asset he ended up giving up, he said, none of you has ever made a firm decisions since
he was born. He basically gave up on them.

00:17:48 --> 00:17:54
			You know, I've given you all the possibilities, all the options, and you don't want to take any of
them.

00:17:55 --> 00:17:59
			So now, they were thinking of surrendering.

00:18:01 --> 00:18:05
			So they sent for one of the companions

00:18:07 --> 00:18:08
			and he was

00:18:10 --> 00:18:13
			OBU Baba probably a long way. No bad.

00:18:14 --> 00:18:16
			Why did they send for him?

00:18:17 --> 00:18:24
			Because he used to be one of their allies in the days of Jahangir before Islam.

00:18:26 --> 00:18:28
			So they seek his advice.

00:18:30 --> 00:18:31
			A guru Baba goes there.

00:18:32 --> 00:18:33
			And they come out

00:18:35 --> 00:18:37
			with their women and their children crying and sobbing.

00:18:39 --> 00:18:43
			So they wanted to, you know, show this emotional scene

00:18:44 --> 00:18:46
			so that perhaps he can have pity for them.

00:18:48 --> 00:18:49
			So they asked them to do better.

00:18:50 --> 00:18:54
			What do you think Mohamed will do if we surrender?

00:18:56 --> 00:18:58
			So Abu Baba, probably Allahu Akbar.

00:18:59 --> 00:19:03
			He pointed to his throat, and he made a gesture.

00:19:04 --> 00:19:05
			Right like this.

00:19:08 --> 00:19:12
			He will say that the Prophet SAW Selim is gonna kill you.

00:19:13 --> 00:19:14
			But then

00:19:15 --> 00:19:17
			Abu Dhabi one,

00:19:18 --> 00:19:23
			he immediately realized the mistake that he committed and what was that?

00:19:26 --> 00:19:27
			A huge mistake.

00:19:28 --> 00:19:29
			And that is,

00:19:30 --> 00:19:37
			he felt that he had been retrieved the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam by exposing to the enemy
a secret

00:19:39 --> 00:19:40
			at a time of war,

00:19:42 --> 00:19:46
			telling them what the prophets of Allah when it was, the next move is going to be

00:19:47 --> 00:19:50
			so a Buddha he rushes back to me.

00:19:52 --> 00:19:54
			And he goes into the masjid

00:19:55 --> 00:19:59
			and he ties himself to a pillar of the masjid

00:20:01 --> 00:20:08
			And he says, I am not going to untie myself from this pillar until Allah accepts my repentance.

00:20:10 --> 00:20:12
			So obudu Baba will be Allah when

00:20:13 --> 00:20:16
			he remains tied in the masjid for six days.

00:20:18 --> 00:20:26
			His wife would go to him at the time of Salah, untie him, let him you know, make will do and pray
and then she would tie him back again.

00:20:27 --> 00:20:29
			And it's continued on for six days.

00:20:32 --> 00:20:33
			One night,

00:20:34 --> 00:20:36
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:20:37 --> 00:20:38
			he was

00:20:40 --> 00:20:45
			in the house of Onselen or the Allahu Anhu and he smiled.

00:20:47 --> 00:20:58
			So on Selma, she asks ya rasool Allah, what is it? Why you smiling? The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam said, Allah has accepted the Toba of Abu Bab

00:21:00 --> 00:21:15
			in so unsellable, she said, Shall I not go and deliver the good news to him? So the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, sure if you want to. So she goes, she opens the door of her poker
room.

00:21:16 --> 00:21:28
			And we know that 100 the rooms of the wives of the puzzle, some are attached to the mystery. So she
opens her door and she goes and tells Abu Dhabi the good news.

00:21:31 --> 00:21:33
			And then after that,

00:21:35 --> 00:21:46
			all the Sahaba they come rejoicing and you know, they come rushing to untie him, because that is
what he had said, right? I'm not going to untie myself until

00:21:47 --> 00:21:49
			until Allah accepts my repentance.

00:21:50 --> 00:21:52
			But then he said No, leave me.

00:21:53 --> 00:22:05
			I don't want anyone to untie me except Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. So when the prodigal
son and went to priests a lot on federal, he untied a Buddha Radi Allahu Allah.

00:22:07 --> 00:22:07
			Today,

00:22:08 --> 00:22:11
			there is a pillar in LMS today never we

00:22:12 --> 00:22:14
			written on top of it

00:22:17 --> 00:22:22
			is to honor it a tilde and Abu Zubaydah, his name is written on top of it.

00:22:23 --> 00:22:25
			In fact, many of the pillars in the old part of the masjid

00:22:28 --> 00:22:32
			they have names to those pillars, mentioning important,

00:22:34 --> 00:22:39
			important significance regarding those particular places. So this particular pillar,

00:22:40 --> 00:22:46
			it says on top of it, that this was the pillar of Inktober the one that a Buddha had tied himself to

00:22:48 --> 00:22:55
			now, Bernal kuruva. Still, although they got a hint of their fate

00:22:57 --> 00:23:03
			they knew what's going to happen to them if they surrender they got the hint. But they still agreed
to surrender.

00:23:05 --> 00:23:08
			But they only agreed to surrender when they knew that

00:23:09 --> 00:23:13
			sad had been wired or the long run would be the one

00:23:15 --> 00:23:15
			to judge

00:23:17 --> 00:23:18
			their case.

00:23:20 --> 00:23:23
			Salad they'd been wild or the Allahu Han was

00:23:24 --> 00:23:26
			their ally from the days of Jackie Leah.

00:23:29 --> 00:23:32
			So they surrendered and they were tied up.

00:23:33 --> 00:23:39
			And sad. ibn Muhammad was given full authority to rule in their case, meaning

00:23:40 --> 00:23:41
			what should we do with these people?

00:23:43 --> 00:23:49
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave full authority to sad even more had to decide how did
this happen?

00:23:51 --> 00:23:52
			Why him

00:23:53 --> 00:23:54
			in one narration

00:23:55 --> 00:23:56
			at and aos.

00:23:58 --> 00:24:05
			They came to rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and said hand over Bunraku Reva to us

00:24:06 --> 00:24:12
			just like you hang it over then clean our to our brothers from an has ranch.

00:24:14 --> 00:24:16
			Remember that when

00:24:18 --> 00:24:21
			remember that when Abdullah even obey

00:24:23 --> 00:24:27
			the leader of the munafo he was also the leader of the huzzah Raj.

00:24:29 --> 00:24:34
			When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam laid siege to bundle como car

00:24:35 --> 00:24:39
			and then the siege was over with and he has them now.

00:24:40 --> 00:24:42
			He was planning on killing them.

00:24:44 --> 00:24:49
			Now if we if you recall when we discussed what happened to benoquin, aka

00:24:51 --> 00:24:59
			the Prophet sallallahu he was on wanting to kill them. But Abdullah even obey, who was their ally,
the ally of

00:25:00 --> 00:25:05
			When kangaroo court he came pleading to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam begging him to set
them free.

00:25:08 --> 00:25:13
			So, the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam complied and he allowed them to go free.

00:25:14 --> 00:25:20
			And so they ended up being expelled from Medina. They went north to Russia to Syria

00:25:22 --> 00:25:23
			so now

00:25:26 --> 00:25:28
			and oh send al Hassan they always used to compete.

00:25:30 --> 00:25:39
			And now else they wanted a similar opportunity for themselves, because they used to be the Allies
have been Karela.

00:25:40 --> 00:25:41
			So

00:25:44 --> 00:25:47
			the bed the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:25:50 --> 00:26:04
			to allow them to decide what happens with benaco River. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam handed over a bundle Karela to their leader, the leader of Laos, and that is sad. Even words
are only Allah.

00:26:06 --> 00:26:07
			Now, remember,

00:26:08 --> 00:26:10
			we mentioned this last week

00:26:11 --> 00:26:13
			during the siege.

00:26:15 --> 00:26:16
			During the Battle of it is

00:26:17 --> 00:26:20
			sad, it'd be more hard robiola who and was injured.

00:26:23 --> 00:26:25
			He was shot with an arrow in his arm

00:26:26 --> 00:26:30
			that ripped through the major artery.

00:26:32 --> 00:26:35
			At that time, sad, he made a dua

00:26:36 --> 00:26:37
			because this was fatal.

00:26:39 --> 00:26:40
			He's going to die from this injury.

00:26:42 --> 00:26:42
			So he made this too.

00:26:44 --> 00:26:48
			He said, Oh Allah, if we are going to fight Quraysh ever again.

00:26:49 --> 00:26:52
			Then allow me to live for that fight.

00:26:53 --> 00:27:03
			There are no people who I would love to fight for your cause more than those who oppose your
messenger rejected him and forced him out from his hometown.

00:27:04 --> 00:27:08
			And so sad rhodiola, who had been the head of

00:27:11 --> 00:27:22
			being the head of allowes, and one of the heads of the Onsala. He wanted to carry on the fight
against Quraysh if there is any fighting left in the future.

00:27:24 --> 00:27:38
			He wanted to fulfill his pledge that he made with rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam of
protecting him. And that was the pledge of an AKA right that he was a part of

00:27:40 --> 00:27:49
			Saudi bin Mohammed was one of those unsolved, who left Madeira while the province Olson was living
in Mecca, and he went to Morocco during the Hajj season.

00:27:51 --> 00:27:54
			And there was the pledge of Allah Okada.

00:27:55 --> 00:28:05
			The entered into this agreement, that come live with us in Medina. And we will guarantee you to
protect you. So here

00:28:07 --> 00:28:34
			Sahadeva radula, who wanted to fulfill that, till the very end, that he went on to say, Oh Allah, if
you have willed that this encounter between us and them will be the last. So Oh Allah, if you have
willed that this will be the last encounter with Croatia, we won't have to fight them again. Then I
pray to you, Oh Allah, to make this wound of mine, to be my way to shahada to martyrdom.

00:28:36 --> 00:28:37
			Let me die because of this one.

00:28:39 --> 00:28:44
			So here, sad Rhodiola and was asking Allah to make him die.

00:28:45 --> 00:28:52
			If there is no more fighting left with courage, and this shows us how sad had been wild or the one

00:28:53 --> 00:28:57
			he had no wish to live on, in this dunya

00:28:58 --> 00:29:01
			unless it was to fight, Jihad feasable Allah.

00:29:02 --> 00:29:12
			He doesn't want to live on to earn money to get married to women, for the sake of the dunya but
rather, he would like to live on for noble purpose.

00:29:13 --> 00:29:27
			Then he says, Oh Allah, if you have willed otherwise, then do not let me die until I see our affair
with Ben Reva having a happy ending for Islam.

00:29:29 --> 00:29:30
			This was

00:29:31 --> 00:29:33
			right when he was shot by the arrow

00:29:35 --> 00:29:38
			at the Battle of Amazon, and now the battle is over.

00:29:41 --> 00:29:42
			And

00:29:43 --> 00:29:53
			you know, this is before Djiboutian came to tell the Prophet SAW Selim rush to fight against battle
kureta the Prophet sallallahu Ellingson had no intention of doing

00:29:54 --> 00:29:58
			and here Assad or the Allahu and he's asking Allah let me witness

00:30:00 --> 00:30:03
			A good ending for Islam with Ben coryza.

00:30:04 --> 00:30:12
			So sadly, Ben Wilde was better at what they had done, how they had betrayed, you know his own ally.

00:30:14 --> 00:30:21
			How they had betrayed him and the Muslims and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:30:22 --> 00:30:23
			Subhan Allah.

00:30:24 --> 00:30:27
			Look at how Allah made him to be the very person

00:30:28 --> 00:30:32
			to be the judge in the case of Bankura.

00:30:34 --> 00:30:36
			Now rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:30:38 --> 00:30:43
			had prepared a tent for Saturday been wired in the masjid.

00:30:45 --> 00:30:47
			He was placed in that tent,

00:30:48 --> 00:30:50
			so that he could be taken care of.

00:30:52 --> 00:30:53
			Because he was injured.

00:30:55 --> 00:31:01
			And it was made in the masjid, so that the process and could easily come and visit

00:31:03 --> 00:31:07
			you know, Saturday bin Muhammad was one of the close companions of the Prophet SAW Salah

00:31:09 --> 00:31:10
			from among the unsought.

00:31:12 --> 00:31:13
			So

00:31:15 --> 00:31:17
			sad was recovering from his injury.

00:31:19 --> 00:31:21
			But he still needed to be carried.

00:31:22 --> 00:31:30
			So he was carried to where Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and the Muslims and the Jews have
been a credo we're meeting

00:31:32 --> 00:31:33
			on his way there.

00:31:35 --> 00:31:43
			His tribe of a house, they accompanied him and they were giving him advice to take it easy

00:31:45 --> 00:31:47
			with them, take it easy with them.

00:31:49 --> 00:31:52
			Just like Bunkai nucar, Abdullah ibn obey.

00:31:54 --> 00:32:00
			He pleaded on their behalf and let them go free. They were saying Sadie been wild, you should do the
same.

00:32:02 --> 00:32:05
			So sadly been while he was listening silently.

00:32:06 --> 00:32:06
			In the end,

00:32:08 --> 00:32:10
			he said, when he reaches there,

00:32:11 --> 00:32:14
			he says, It is now time for sad

00:32:15 --> 00:32:21
			to disregard any possibility of criticism. It's serving Allah.

00:32:24 --> 00:32:27
			It is time now for sad to ignore

00:32:28 --> 00:32:30
			any possible criticism

00:32:31 --> 00:32:34
			when it comes to serving Allah.

00:32:35 --> 00:32:37
			So as soon as he said this,

00:32:38 --> 00:32:39
			some

00:32:40 --> 00:32:41
			of a house.

00:32:43 --> 00:32:51
			They went back and they went to Ben arriva delivering their condolences, saying, you know, he's
going to kill you.

00:32:53 --> 00:32:56
			And so, what did sadly been what I mean by this.

00:32:59 --> 00:33:03
			What he meant was, that he will do what pleases Allah.

00:33:04 --> 00:33:11
			He will not look into the consequences of his actions, and how it may anger some people

00:33:13 --> 00:33:20
			how it may displeased some people, he's not going to play politics. He's not going to give

00:33:21 --> 00:33:22
			a judgment

00:33:24 --> 00:33:25
			to please some people.

00:33:26 --> 00:33:26
			Right.

00:33:28 --> 00:33:29
			But rather,

00:33:30 --> 00:33:32
			you know, he's going to do what pleases a lot.

00:33:33 --> 00:33:35
			You know, he's not going to

00:33:36 --> 00:33:38
			bend over due to pressure.

00:33:39 --> 00:33:42
			Because that's what they were doing. They were trying to pressure.

00:33:44 --> 00:33:50
			And so just this statement of his alone was enough to make the Sahaba understand what he was going
to do.

00:33:52 --> 00:33:54
			And they all knew the crimes

00:33:55 --> 00:34:01
			committed by North Korea, and they knew that that was sufficient. Enough of a punishment. That, you
know,

00:34:03 --> 00:34:11
			the punishment for this crime was that they deserve to be killed. And that's exactly what sad.
They've been mad had decided.

00:34:13 --> 00:34:14
			It's so sadly Ben will have

00:34:15 --> 00:34:25
			he was brought in to where they were. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when he saw him
being carried in. He told everyone to stand up.

00:34:26 --> 00:34:28
			He said, Kumu is a ye Deacon.

00:34:29 --> 00:34:31
			He said, Stand up for your master.

00:34:34 --> 00:34:41
			Even though we know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has forbade us from standing up for
people.

00:34:43 --> 00:34:46
			However, this situation was exceptional.

00:34:48 --> 00:34:55
			Here are going solo la he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told them to stand up for sad, even mad and
respect for him.

00:34:57 --> 00:34:59
			So they all did in two lines and

00:35:00 --> 00:35:00
			them.

00:35:01 --> 00:35:04
			They told Sally to give his judgment and his verdict.

00:35:06 --> 00:35:08
			And so sad had been wild. He looked at the Jews.

00:35:10 --> 00:35:12
			And he asked them, Do you accept my ruling?

00:35:13 --> 00:35:16
			Before he gave it? They said, Yes we do.

00:35:19 --> 00:35:29
			And then he points towards the Muslims. And he asked them, Do you accept my ruling? Now here, he
didn't look at the Muslims, White,

00:35:30 --> 00:35:36
			who was among the Muslims Rasul allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and so he was too shy

00:35:37 --> 00:35:42
			and embarrassed to ask the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, do you accept my ruling? Like who am
I?

00:35:44 --> 00:35:47
			So he just pointed towards the Muslims and asked them Do you accept my ruling?

00:35:49 --> 00:35:52
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam responded and said, Yes, we do.

00:35:54 --> 00:35:56
			So this was a very critical moment.

00:35:57 --> 00:36:03
			As you know, this decision of his would affect the entire tribe. It's men, it's women.

00:36:05 --> 00:36:12
			And so it would affect the future of an entire tribe that had lived in Medina for ages.

00:36:13 --> 00:36:15
			So sad, it'd be more odd. He said.

00:36:16 --> 00:36:24
			Therefore, I rule that the men have been will kureta should be killed.

00:36:25 --> 00:36:32
			Their properties should be seized and divided, and their women and they and their children should be
enslaved.

00:36:34 --> 00:36:42
			When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam heard this, he said, You have ruled the same ruling of
Allah from above the seven heavens.

00:36:44 --> 00:36:47
			Meaning that this is Allah's judgment as well.

00:36:49 --> 00:36:51
			It is the ruling that would please Allah.

00:36:53 --> 00:36:54
			And so

00:36:56 --> 00:36:59
			the number of men that were executed

00:37:01 --> 00:37:06
			it's mentioned in various narrations that they were between 409 100

00:37:08 --> 00:37:08
			however,

00:37:10 --> 00:37:11
			it was most likely 400

00:37:14 --> 00:37:20
			And these men were a fighting age. So they are enemy combatants.

00:37:23 --> 00:37:25
			Only one woman was executed.

00:37:27 --> 00:37:30
			And that was because she had killed one of the sahaba.

00:37:31 --> 00:37:33
			So during the siege of their forts,

00:37:34 --> 00:37:35
			she had thrown a rock

00:37:37 --> 00:37:38
			over him and it killed him.

00:37:40 --> 00:37:45
			And this woman was sitting with a shot on the Allahu anha when the men

00:37:46 --> 00:37:48
			were taken away and they were being killed.

00:37:49 --> 00:37:51
			No huge trenches were dug

00:37:52 --> 00:37:57
			in the main market of Medina and they were brought in groups and they were being killed.

00:37:58 --> 00:38:05
			While this was happening, this woman was sitting there with Aisha Radi Allahu Allah. And someone
called her her name.

00:38:07 --> 00:38:13
			So, I showed her the logline. She didn't know what this woman had done. So she asked her

00:38:16 --> 00:38:17
			Why are they calling you?

00:38:19 --> 00:38:23
			She said perhaps they want to kill me. And she was laughing

00:38:25 --> 00:38:26
			and she was smiling and joking around.

00:38:28 --> 00:38:34
			So how shallow the Allah who had her she asked why would they want to kill you? So she said because
of a crime that I committed.

00:38:36 --> 00:38:51
			Hi Aisha Radi Allahu Han has says about her so she was taken away and she was killed. Aisha Radi
Allahu Anhu says, I will never forget how high spirited she was, and how much she was laughing even
though she knew that she was facing death.

00:38:55 --> 00:38:57
			So all of the men were killed

00:38:59 --> 00:39:00
			except for

00:39:02 --> 00:39:11
			a very small number. Who were spared because they proved not to be treasures. They

00:39:12 --> 00:39:14
			did not join their tribe.

00:39:16 --> 00:39:22
			In backstabbing Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and they also became a sir.

00:39:23 --> 00:39:25
			But they were only a handful.

00:39:27 --> 00:39:32
			But what this shows us what this shows us something very important. And that is

00:39:35 --> 00:39:36
			that

00:39:37 --> 00:39:41
			if the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam killed the Jews,

00:39:42 --> 00:39:45
			it was not because of their race or their ethnicity.

00:39:48 --> 00:39:51
			And that is the very definition of anti semitism

00:39:53 --> 00:39:59
			that you hate on the Jews, and you target them because of their race because of their ethnicity.

00:40:00 --> 00:40:00
			But,

00:40:02 --> 00:40:05
			you know, there is no anti semitism in Islam

00:40:08 --> 00:40:12
			where if a Jew wants to accept Islam you welcome him.

00:40:13 --> 00:40:21
			And so look at how the Prophet sallallahu speared, some of them simply because they are willing to
accept Islam.

00:40:24 --> 00:40:26
			Now one of the women who were taken as slaves

00:40:29 --> 00:40:33
			she was taken as a slave. Her name was Rihanna Ben Tamra

00:40:34 --> 00:40:39
			and she was taken by Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as a slave.

00:40:40 --> 00:40:48
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave her Dawa and in the beginning she refused to accept
Islam but eventually, she became

00:40:50 --> 00:40:55
			then Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave her the option.

00:40:57 --> 00:41:01
			Do you want to remain a slave or I can free you and marry you.

00:41:04 --> 00:41:07
			But she preferred to remain as a slave.

00:41:08 --> 00:41:13
			In fact, she remained as a slave until the death of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:41:14 --> 00:41:24
			And the scholars mentioned that the reason for this was perhaps, that she saw that the burdens and
responsibilities of Romania as a slave is easier

00:41:25 --> 00:41:29
			than the responsibilities of being a wife and Alana was best.

00:41:31 --> 00:41:32
			Now one of the Sahaba

00:41:34 --> 00:41:35
			stabbing him in place.

00:41:37 --> 00:41:40
			He appealed on behalf of one of the jurors

00:41:42 --> 00:41:43
			because

00:41:44 --> 00:41:47
			this man had done him a favor in the days of Jamelia.

00:41:48 --> 00:41:51
			So that bit of increase, he wanted to pay him back for that.

00:41:52 --> 00:42:02
			So he went to Rasul Allah, he sort of login and he was allowed to appeal for Zubia in Delta, one of
the Jews have been Kurita.

00:42:03 --> 00:42:08
			Now this Jew, he was an old man, and he had become blind.

00:42:09 --> 00:42:12
			So Tabet he went to the Prophet SAW Selim asking him to spear his life.

00:42:13 --> 00:42:21
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam agreed. But then, this man, he said, What would an old man

00:42:22 --> 00:42:24
			who would not have a son,

00:42:25 --> 00:42:27
			who has no family do with his life,

00:42:28 --> 00:42:35
			so far, but he went to the prophets of Allah when it was setting him and asked him to free his wife
and his children?

00:42:36 --> 00:42:39
			So the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam agreed,

00:42:40 --> 00:42:43
			then, this man, he said, What should become

00:42:45 --> 00:42:49
			a household in hijas that has no property, how could they survive?

00:42:50 --> 00:42:57
			So sad, it goes to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and asked for the home and the property
of this man to be given back to him.

00:42:58 --> 00:43:01
			Because we said, the men were ordered to be killed,

00:43:03 --> 00:43:09
			the homes and the properties would be taken and divided among the Muslims and

00:43:10 --> 00:43:12
			the women and the children would become slaves.

00:43:15 --> 00:43:42
			So sort of like in SallAllahu, alayhi wasallam, he ended up giving him back his property. So now,
this man Zubayr he is free, his wife and children are free, and his property is given back to him.
But then he asks sabot it in place for the long run? He says, What became of gab even acid whose
face was like that of a mirror?

00:43:44 --> 00:43:45
			To have it said he was killed.

00:43:47 --> 00:43:54
			Zubair, he then says, What happened to the master of the cities and the deserts forgiven?

00:43:55 --> 00:43:57
			That dabit says he has been killed.

00:43:58 --> 00:44:06
			He says, Then what happened to our Vanguard in the attack and our protector in plate, iser in
Seminole

00:44:09 --> 00:44:10
			he said, he has been killed.

00:44:12 --> 00:44:23
			So then he says, What became of the two councils, he said, they have been dispersed and they have
been killed. So he's mentioning all of these leaders have been coryza.

00:44:24 --> 00:44:28
			And these noble men have been coryza what happened to them?

00:44:30 --> 00:44:41
			So then, when he found out that there are that they are all dead, he says, I therefore ask you to be
either for asking this habit, by your obligation to me.

00:44:42 --> 00:44:43
			Let me join my people.

00:44:45 --> 00:44:48
			There is no good in life for me now that they have all gone.

00:44:49 --> 00:44:56
			I cannot stand postponing joining my loved ones for so long as it will take to fill an empty bucket

00:44:59 --> 00:44:59
			what

00:45:00 --> 00:45:07
			He was saying is that there is no point in living. If all of my people are gone

00:45:08 --> 00:45:09
			I'd like to join them.

00:45:11 --> 00:45:12
			So kill me basically.

00:45:14 --> 00:45:17
			So sad it even Chris Rhodiola right he took him and he killed

00:45:18 --> 00:45:25
			according to his own wish. Now when the news of this reaches Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Allah, what does
he say?

00:45:27 --> 00:45:29
			Abu Bakr Obi Wan says,

00:45:30 --> 00:45:32
			By Allah, He will definitely meet

00:45:33 --> 00:45:37
			his family that he loved his tribesmen that you love

00:45:38 --> 00:45:44
			by Allah, He will meet them in the fire of *, where he will dwell in it forever with them.

00:45:49 --> 00:45:50
			Now

00:45:52 --> 00:45:56
			the spoils of war, were divided.

00:45:57 --> 00:45:58
			We have all this wealth,

00:46:00 --> 00:46:02
			the homes, the properties,

00:46:03 --> 00:46:05
			all of their treasures.

00:46:06 --> 00:46:12
			Everything is now in the hands of the Muslims. four fifths of it was divided among the fighters.

00:46:13 --> 00:46:15
			As we know that is the ruling of minima.

00:46:16 --> 00:46:39
			And 1/5 went to Rasul Allah He SallAllahu ala Usila. How did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
use his 1/5 in one narration, he mentioned that he dispatched sad Abizaid with the captives taken
from Donald Karela. He told them to go to next where he would sell those captains in exchange for
weapons.

00:46:41 --> 00:46:55
			In another narration I mentioned is that the Prophet also sent sadly had been regarded with the
captives to a sham where he sold them in exchange for horse horses in exchange for horses and
weapons.

00:46:56 --> 00:47:01
			So this is what ended up happening with Ben Craver.

00:47:02 --> 00:47:04
			Now, this battle of Ben Craver

00:47:06 --> 00:47:11
			it was unique and different in many ways, from so many other battles

00:47:12 --> 00:47:21
			that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam fought. First of all, it was commanded by who? By
Gibreel added his salah. Secondly

00:47:22 --> 00:47:23
			Gibreel

00:47:24 --> 00:47:32
			actually accompany the Muslims, right? And as a Ben Malik, Radi Allahu, he says, and this is in
Sahih al Bukhari.

00:47:33 --> 00:47:42
			He says, it is as if now I am seeing as if now I could see the dust rising in the streets, and then
one due to the marching of

00:47:44 --> 00:47:52
			the troops of Gibreel Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had sent set out for bunker Eva.

00:47:53 --> 00:47:55
			So they're seeing all this dust rising.

00:47:57 --> 00:47:58
			And that was explained to me,

00:47:59 --> 00:48:02
			the army of Gibreel rushing to

00:48:03 --> 00:48:04
			the new caravan.

00:48:05 --> 00:48:06
			Also,

00:48:07 --> 00:48:12
			this, the affair, the fate of bento kuruva.

00:48:13 --> 00:48:18
			It was decided by Allah, but delivered on the tongue of who

00:48:20 --> 00:48:21
			said it when

00:48:23 --> 00:48:25
			it wasn't decided by the Prophet sallallahu added himself.

00:48:26 --> 00:48:27
			And

00:48:30 --> 00:48:41
			finally, this battle removed the last tribe of the Jews from Medina. So we can see how this has
worked. That was what I've done. coryza was unique in so many different ways.

00:48:42 --> 00:48:45
			Now, before we conclude,

00:48:48 --> 00:48:52
			we have seen the important role

00:48:53 --> 00:48:57
			played by Sam, Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Rhodiola one.

00:49:01 --> 00:49:03
			And there was a reason for this.

00:49:07 --> 00:49:07
			And that is

00:49:09 --> 00:49:11
			the high status of Saudi being worth.

00:49:13 --> 00:49:27
			You know, we often hear of the Sahaba who have a very high status among all the Sahaba we hear of
Abu Bakr of aroma, the Holy Father Rashi do we hear of the early Muslims,

00:49:29 --> 00:49:34
			Hadith or the Walkman? The wives of the Prophet SAW Selim, we hear the virtues of VLAN

00:49:36 --> 00:49:41
			and I'm not a Vinyasa and all these wonderful companions

00:49:42 --> 00:49:43
			but how sad they've been why

00:49:45 --> 00:49:48
			he was special. Let's look at some of his virtues.

00:49:49 --> 00:49:50
			Number one,

00:49:52 --> 00:49:56
			Allah subhanahu wa Tada answered his dua, as we mentioned

00:49:58 --> 00:49:59
			in when he was injured

00:50:00 --> 00:50:01
			He made a DUA

00:50:02 --> 00:50:08
			and his dua, Allah answered it. First of all, there was no more fighting with Quraysh.

00:50:09 --> 00:50:13
			This was the last battle and we mentioned this last week.

00:50:15 --> 00:50:20
			From here onwards, the Muslims will take the fight to them, they will never come back.

00:50:22 --> 00:50:29
			Secondly, he died as a Shaheed that was his wish that was his do not Allah fulfill that doubt. And
thirdly, he saw

00:50:30 --> 00:50:36
			a happy ending for Islam with a bunch of Quran. He had made that to her.

00:50:37 --> 00:50:39
			Number two from the virtues of Sadie Benoit.

00:50:41 --> 00:50:54
			What did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam say when he entered? Who moody say Edie can stand
up for your master? He is the only man whom the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ever told the
Sahaba to stand up for

00:50:56 --> 00:51:09
			number three, when the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam heard the news of Sadie Benoit dying, he
rushed to him and told us a harbor to to come with him.

00:51:10 --> 00:51:18
			Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was walking so fast that the shoes of the Sahaba were tearing

00:51:19 --> 00:51:22
			and their clothes were falling off.

00:51:23 --> 00:51:25
			And they complained about it.

00:51:26 --> 00:51:28
			To the Prophet sallallahu he was

00:51:29 --> 00:51:34
			like ya rasool Allah, slow down wait for us. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,

00:51:35 --> 00:51:36
			I want to go there.

00:51:39 --> 00:51:40
			Because

00:51:41 --> 00:51:42
			I'm afraid

00:51:43 --> 00:51:50
			that the angels will reach there before us. And they will wash him like they had washed. Humble
Allah will be long.

00:51:51 --> 00:51:54
			And so the angels were also rushing

00:51:56 --> 00:51:56
			to be there.

00:51:58 --> 00:52:01
			In the final moments of sad even.

00:52:03 --> 00:52:10
			Number four, when sad had been Mohammed was dying when he had passed away. And the Prophet SAW Selim
now enters.

00:52:11 --> 00:52:14
			He sees his mother crying.

00:52:15 --> 00:52:18
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when he saw this, he said,

00:52:19 --> 00:52:20
			every mourner,

00:52:22 --> 00:52:26
			every person who mourns they're dead, and they cry.

00:52:27 --> 00:52:28
			They're exaggerating,

00:52:29 --> 00:52:34
			except for the mother of sad eating wild, meaning that

00:52:36 --> 00:52:37
			this is something to cry for.

00:52:39 --> 00:52:45
			Right? You know, he is a loss. He is truly a loss.

00:52:46 --> 00:52:47
			Number five.

00:52:50 --> 00:52:54
			When they carry the janazah of sad, it was very light.

00:52:55 --> 00:53:13
			And the Sahaba they told the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, how late it was. So the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, and why should it not be light? When angels have come down, who
have never kicked who have never come down to the dunya they came down to carry the janazah upside
up.

00:53:16 --> 00:53:24
			Number six, and this is truly one of the greatest virtues, something that we have not heard for
anyone else.

00:53:26 --> 00:53:27
			And this is mentioned

00:53:28 --> 00:53:29
			in Sahih Bukhari and Muslim.

00:53:31 --> 00:53:33
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said

00:53:36 --> 00:53:40
			it doesn't show zashiel Rahman remote decided on

00:53:41 --> 00:53:46
			the Throne of Allah shook because of the death of Saudi Benoit.

00:53:48 --> 00:53:48
			Imagine that.

00:53:50 --> 00:53:52
			Some of the scholars say the reason for that

00:53:54 --> 00:53:55
			was because of the commotion

00:53:56 --> 00:54:00
			that was caused by the angels who are carrying the Throne of Allah.

00:54:03 --> 00:54:04
			When they heard

00:54:05 --> 00:54:07
			the death of this noble companion

00:54:08 --> 00:54:09
			I'm a little harsh.

00:54:13 --> 00:54:14
			Number seven,

00:54:15 --> 00:54:18
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will never forget about Syed

00:54:21 --> 00:54:22
			even later on,

00:54:23 --> 00:54:25
			one day, when

00:54:27 --> 00:54:29
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:54:31 --> 00:54:32
			had received some gifts.

00:54:34 --> 00:54:43
			There were pieces of cloth that he had received as a gift. And the Sahaba had never seen pieces of
cloth like that before.

00:54:44 --> 00:54:50
			They were holding it and they were amazed at how soft and how nice this

00:54:51 --> 00:54:59
			you know this fabric was. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he asked them Are you amazed
at how soft they

00:55:00 --> 00:55:02
			As fabric is said yes,

00:55:03 --> 00:55:14
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said the man ideal the handkerchiefs of side had been wired
in Jannah are softer and better than this cloth.

00:55:17 --> 00:55:18
			Finally,

00:55:19 --> 00:55:21
			when they were burying Sadie Benoit,

00:55:23 --> 00:55:25
			and they were luring him

00:55:27 --> 00:55:28
			into his grave,

00:55:29 --> 00:55:38
			and they were thrown the dirt over, and they covered his grave. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam was standing right there over his grave.

00:55:40 --> 00:55:42
			They were done with the burial.

00:55:44 --> 00:55:47
			And we know what happens right after the burial,

00:55:48 --> 00:55:49
			the fitna,

00:55:51 --> 00:55:53
			50, metal Condor, it begins

00:55:56 --> 00:56:00
			what we face in the grave, that test and the punishment.

00:56:02 --> 00:56:02
			So

00:56:03 --> 00:56:08
			he's standing there, the Prophet also standing there, and suddenly his face changes.

00:56:10 --> 00:56:12
			And he says, Subhan Allah three times.

00:56:14 --> 00:56:16
			Like, you know, he's

00:56:17 --> 00:56:18
			in shock.

00:56:19 --> 00:56:23
			And he says, Subhan, Allah and the Sahaba if they repeat after him.

00:56:25 --> 00:56:31
			In the narration, it mentions the entire graveyard is echoing with Subhan Allah. Then,

00:56:33 --> 00:56:41
			after a few moments, the feasts of the Prophet SAW Selim, it goes back to normal. And he says Allahu
Akbar three times.

00:56:43 --> 00:56:45
			And the Sahaba they repeat with him.

00:56:46 --> 00:56:51
			Then they asked him Yasuda Allah, why did you make to speak and to greet?

00:56:52 --> 00:56:55
			The Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam said,

00:56:58 --> 00:56:59
			I saw the Greve

00:57:02 --> 00:57:06
			right now squeezing the body of Sadie Benoit.

00:57:10 --> 00:57:15
			He said, and if there was anyone who would be spared

00:57:16 --> 00:57:18
			of that suffering, of the squeeze of the grave,

00:57:20 --> 00:57:25
			if anyone in this world would be spirit of that, it would have been him.

00:57:26 --> 00:57:28
			But even he was not spirit of it.

00:57:29 --> 00:57:33
			And so I was saying, subhanAllah, what's going to happen? But then

00:57:35 --> 00:57:38
			the grieve it released his body.

00:57:39 --> 00:57:47
			So it was just for a moment. And that was it. That is the only squeeze that he would that he would
experience.

00:57:49 --> 00:57:59
			And this is the one the squeezing of the grief that almost everyone is going to go through. And so
the Prophet SAW Selim, when he saw that he was happy, and he said,

00:58:01 --> 00:58:12
			Allahu Akbar. So we ask Allah Subhana vumatel, to spare us from the punishment of the greed, we ask
Allah to make our time in the greed to be a time of blessings.

00:58:14 --> 00:58:16
			And so, these are the virtues of

00:58:17 --> 00:58:19
			Sati been why they chose us

00:58:20 --> 00:58:22
			how special of a companion he was.

00:58:24 --> 00:58:27
			And so now, with the end of Banach, Reva

00:58:29 --> 00:58:34
			Medina, is completely in the hands of the Muslims.

00:58:36 --> 00:58:39
			And this dangerous internal threat

00:58:40 --> 00:58:42
			from the enemies of Islam,

00:58:44 --> 00:58:56
			which was a real threat, they were capable of doing a lot of damage, through their conspiring with
the enemies of Islam, on the outside, with Quraysh. You know, it was now eliminated.

00:58:57 --> 00:59:00
			And the hopes and the dreams of Qureshi are now shattered.

00:59:01 --> 00:59:05
			Because they used to rely on this, you know, internal enemy.

00:59:08 --> 00:59:19
			And we also mentioned last week, how after this battle, the battle of Zab, the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, what did he say? He said, From now on, we will attack them,

00:59:20 --> 00:59:26
			and they will not attack us. And so, the Battle of Assad was a turning point

00:59:27 --> 00:59:31
			in the life of Rasulullah, sallallahu alayhi wasallam. It represented

00:59:32 --> 00:59:38
			the move from the stage of defensive jihad to now offensive jihad.

00:59:40 --> 00:59:52
			So next week, we will move on to this last stage of the spirit of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam until his death. And so now let us quickly go through

00:59:53 --> 00:59:54
			some of the lessons that we learn

00:59:55 --> 00:59:59
			from the battle of mental Paraiba. First of all,

01:00:00 --> 01:00:14
			Among the kuffaar, there are evil people who will rally others behind them, who don't really want to
be involved in a war against the Muslims pressuring them.

01:00:15 --> 01:00:23
			And so they are among the kuffar. Those who don't have any problem with the Muslims.

01:00:26 --> 01:00:29
			They see that it's in their best interest to live peacefully with the Muslims.

01:00:31 --> 01:00:32
			And to leave them alone.

01:00:34 --> 01:00:36
			But then there are evil people among them,

01:00:37 --> 01:00:39
			who will pressure them and bring them

01:00:40 --> 01:00:41
			to join

01:00:42 --> 01:00:54
			their war against Muslims. And we see this in how he'll yay even above. He went to great lengths to
bring Cabot in acid, and then we'll carry over into this war, even though

01:00:56 --> 01:01:08
			you know, he was resisting. And he saw no reason to do so. You know, he was saying, I want to keep
this agreement between me and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. I see him as being honest and
trustworthy,

01:01:09 --> 01:01:10
			and why you bring him into this.

01:01:12 --> 01:01:19
			But he ended up falling into that pressure. And we see the same thing happening today.

01:01:21 --> 01:01:24
			It started with the global war on terror.

01:01:25 --> 01:01:41
			You know, the US alone, rallying the entire world, to fight and wage this war against so many Muslim
countries, to the point where even making muslims to fight the Muslims.

01:01:42 --> 01:01:45
			And we see it again today, with Israel

01:01:46 --> 01:01:49
			and the US trying to get the whole world to back them

01:01:50 --> 01:01:51
			in their aggression

01:01:52 --> 01:01:55
			against the Muslims in Palestine.

01:01:56 --> 01:01:56
			Number two,

01:01:58 --> 01:02:01
			there is room for differences of opinion.

01:02:03 --> 01:02:05
			When it comes to matters of fit

01:02:08 --> 01:02:11
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam What did he tell the Sahaba

01:02:13 --> 01:02:21
			he said do not pray Salah to the hustler except when you reach by nuclear Eva. So now the Sahaba
left.

01:02:22 --> 01:02:24
			However, the sun was setting

01:02:25 --> 01:02:31
			and they had not yet reached but in Cordova. So they discussed what should we do?

01:02:32 --> 01:02:48
			A group of them. They said, what the Prophet salallahu Salam meant was that we should hurry up. You
know, he was just encouraging us to get there as fast as we can. He did not mean that we should
delay our Salah till the sunsets.

01:02:49 --> 01:02:51
			So they stopped and they prayed.

01:02:52 --> 01:02:54
			And then they continued, but another group.

01:02:55 --> 01:03:12
			They said no, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam give us specific orders. Do not pray except
once you reach on kuruva. He said we're going to continue. They said, We're not going to pray until
we get there. And so that's what they did. When they got there, the sun had set. And then they
prayed.

01:03:13 --> 01:03:16
			When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came,

01:03:17 --> 01:03:21
			and they told him what had happened. And they told him we disagreed.

01:03:23 --> 01:03:24
			We had this dispute.

01:03:25 --> 01:03:32
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when he heard both sides, he did not object to either.

01:03:33 --> 01:03:39
			He did not reprimand either group. He said, what both of you did is correct.

01:03:40 --> 01:03:49
			He did not disapprove of one group over the other. And so what this shows us is that there will
always be disagreements

01:03:50 --> 01:03:52
			in interpreting the Sharia.

01:03:55 --> 01:04:00
			And this will always be present. If it happened in the time of the sahaba. Then

01:04:02 --> 01:04:39
			it will obviously happen after their time until the Day of Judgment, when the prophets also is not
alive. Right. And so from the time of the Sahaba, until the present, the scholars of Islam have
differed over many, many different things when it comes to rulings of FIP. Why? Because there are
different ways of looking at the evidence. It's not that some scholars ignored evidence, no,
sometimes over one heavy there will be two different opinions based on

01:04:41 --> 01:04:44
			different interpretations, different ways of looking at it.

01:04:45 --> 01:04:46
			And so,

01:04:47 --> 01:04:49
			we say when it comes to matters of fit.

01:04:52 --> 01:04:53
			There is flexibility.

01:04:55 --> 01:04:59
			But who is this for? It's not for the layman. This is for the scholars.

01:05:00 --> 01:05:02
			Villa for them,

01:05:03 --> 01:05:06
			to look into the evidences, and do what is known as HDR.

01:05:08 --> 01:05:14
			try their best to look into the evidences and use their knowledge to come up with the right answer.

01:05:15 --> 01:05:16
			Right.

01:05:20 --> 01:05:22
			As a Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says,

01:05:23 --> 01:05:24
			When

01:05:25 --> 01:05:28
			the scholar gives a ruling based on his HD head,

01:05:30 --> 01:05:34
			each of them gets either one reward or two.

01:05:35 --> 01:05:38
			He gets one reward for his HD head.

01:05:40 --> 01:05:44
			But he ends up being wrong. And he gets two rewards. If he does he had.

01:05:45 --> 01:05:47
			And then he ends up being right.

01:05:48 --> 01:05:56
			As for matters of Elpida or the fundamentals of the deal, then here we say there is no room for
flexibility. You can't say,

01:05:58 --> 01:06:00
			oh, let's interpret the evidence.

01:06:01 --> 01:06:07
			And we should respect differences of opinion, or other matters related to the foundations of Islam?

01:06:08 --> 01:06:12
			No, this is where there is room for

01:06:13 --> 01:06:14
			it interpretation.

01:06:16 --> 01:06:20
			Thirdly, why was the punishment for binocular evil so harsh?

01:06:22 --> 01:06:22
			Why were

01:06:24 --> 01:06:25
			hundreds of men slaughtered?

01:06:27 --> 01:06:33
			Why were their women and their children enslaved? Why was their property taken?

01:06:34 --> 01:06:39
			And this is a very, very important question to answer, because

01:06:40 --> 01:06:48
			of how the enemies of Islam have taken this one event from the sea run and spun it.

01:06:49 --> 01:06:52
			And you used it to undermine Islam

01:06:54 --> 01:07:04
			and use it to say how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was an anti Semite. And the Muslims
are anti Semites, look at how they committed this massacre?

01:07:05 --> 01:07:06
			And so

01:07:07 --> 01:07:10
			to answer this question, we answer with one word.

01:07:11 --> 01:07:12
			And that is

01:07:13 --> 01:07:13
			treason.

01:07:17 --> 01:07:21
			They're not kuruva. They were citizens of the Islamic State.

01:07:23 --> 01:07:25
			And what did they do? They committed treason

01:07:27 --> 01:07:30
			and aliannah or treason.

01:07:34 --> 01:07:36
			It is such a huge crime,

01:07:37 --> 01:07:44
			that no nation on the face of this earth, even until today tolerates it.

01:07:45 --> 01:07:49
			In almost every country, the punishment for treason for treason

01:07:51 --> 01:08:01
			is either death to be executed, or a very, very harsh sentence. They don't tolerate it. Because you
know, you are undermining the security of the country

01:08:03 --> 01:08:07
			by giving information to the enemy, by siding with the enemy.

01:08:10 --> 01:08:20
			And so here you had been coryza, committing treason against the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi
wasallam. You know, here, we're not dealing with any ordinary man,

01:08:21 --> 01:08:29
			or any particular head of the state. We're King, Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, you know, he
is the messenger of Allah.

01:08:30 --> 01:08:42
			And they betrayed him. They broke their agreement with him, they lied to him. And they conspired
with his enemies against him, not at times of peace, in the middle of a war.

01:08:44 --> 01:08:46
			And we can also add to this,

01:08:47 --> 01:08:51
			that their punishment, it matched the level of their crime.

01:08:53 --> 01:08:56
			You know, they had put the lives of the Muslims in danger.

01:08:58 --> 01:09:00
			And they had put the properties

01:09:02 --> 01:09:18
			of the Muslims in danger of being seized by the Assad. And they had put the women and the children
of the Muslims in danger of becoming slaves. So now, since that is what they did, that is a
punishment that they deserve.

01:09:21 --> 01:09:24
			And that brings us to the next lesson.

01:09:25 --> 01:09:35
			Sadie had been wired. He refused to be lenient, in his ruling, because he knew that leniency in such
matters

01:09:36 --> 01:09:38
			is a sign of weakness.

01:09:40 --> 01:09:42
			It is not a sign of mercy.

01:09:43 --> 01:09:48
			So there's a difference between being merciful and compassionate

01:09:49 --> 01:09:50
			and being weak.

01:09:51 --> 01:09:56
			Right. In such situations, you have to be firm.

01:09:57 --> 01:10:00
			So the perception that some Muslims

01:10:00 --> 01:10:07
			Have today that we mustn't should be merciful, we should be lenient so that Islam doesn't get a bad
name.

01:10:08 --> 01:10:13
			You know, they want Muslims, they want people to think that we Muslims are tolerant and peaceful.

01:10:14 --> 01:10:17
			You know, we shouldn't do such harsh things so that,

01:10:18 --> 01:10:20
			you know, people don't call us terrorists.

01:10:22 --> 01:10:24
			When it comes to the laws of Allah

01:10:26 --> 01:10:27
			there's no playing around.

01:10:28 --> 01:10:31
			You know, this is a sign of weakness.

01:10:33 --> 01:10:44
			And we see how, whenever Muslim leaders are soft, in return, the enemy becomes emboldened, and
arrogant. And all we see it happening today.

01:10:46 --> 01:10:51
			Look at how all the Muslim leaders are not doing anything. They're letting

01:10:52 --> 01:10:55
			Israel do whatever it wants, they're silent.

01:10:57 --> 01:10:59
			They'll say, oh, we should, you know, not,

01:11:00 --> 01:11:01
			we should not

01:11:02 --> 01:11:03
			allow

01:11:05 --> 01:11:07
			other countries to get involved.

01:11:08 --> 01:11:10
			You know, we shouldn't allow

01:11:11 --> 01:11:16
			the region to become involved in this, right.

01:11:18 --> 01:11:21
			And so what happens, the enemy becomes even more emboldened.

01:11:23 --> 01:11:27
			Now they're doing this, they're committing these atrocities, because

01:11:29 --> 01:11:32
			no one's doing anything about it, no one's coming to stop them.

01:11:33 --> 01:11:34
			And so

01:11:35 --> 01:11:42
			the point here is that sometimes the sword needs to be used and other times.

01:11:43 --> 01:11:45
			Other times the word of wisdom needs to be used.

01:11:47 --> 01:11:57
			Sometimes the sword needs to be used, sometimes the pen needs to be used. It all depends on the
circumstances. Or as the Earth man had been a fan or the loggerhead, he says

01:11:59 --> 01:12:01
			that sometimes Allah can fulfill

01:12:02 --> 01:12:06
			some objectives of the deen through the Sultan,

01:12:07 --> 01:12:11
			through the authority, that cannot be fulfilled through the Quran

01:12:14 --> 01:12:16
			meaning that

01:12:18 --> 01:12:23
			sometimes, it is the punishments, you know, by force

01:12:24 --> 01:12:30
			that will prevent people from committing certain crimes, the Quran, and it's reminders are not
enough.

01:12:32 --> 01:12:34
			And so the point here is

01:12:35 --> 01:12:36
			that,

01:12:37 --> 01:12:38
			you know, we need to

01:12:39 --> 01:12:44
			understand when to be lenient, and when to be harsh.

01:12:45 --> 01:13:01
			If sad had been Mohammed was, he went soft on them, and he let them free, then he was sending a sign
to the other enemies that look, you can come fight us Muslims. And if in the end, we are victorious,

01:13:02 --> 01:13:03
			we'll let you off.

01:13:04 --> 01:13:09
			Right. So this sends a message that no, we are not going to tolerate such behavior.

01:13:10 --> 01:13:12
			Finally, the last lesson that we can mention here

01:13:14 --> 01:13:15
			is

01:13:16 --> 01:13:19
			the sacrifices of the absorb

01:13:21 --> 01:13:23
			and specifically sadly been wired or the Allahu Ahad.

01:13:26 --> 01:13:28
			Here was a great Sahabi

01:13:30 --> 01:13:33
			he was 37 years old when he died.

01:13:34 --> 01:13:41
			Which means that when rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam meet hijra, he was around 30 years
old.

01:13:43 --> 01:13:45
			You know, the prime of his life.

01:13:46 --> 01:13:48
			He gave his life

01:13:50 --> 01:13:52
			for the service of Allah.

01:13:54 --> 01:13:54
			And this

01:13:56 --> 01:13:56
			is how

01:13:58 --> 01:14:00
			you support the deen of Allah subhanho wa Taala

01:14:02 --> 01:14:02
			it's not that

01:14:03 --> 01:14:04
			you know,

01:14:05 --> 01:14:16
			you stay at home. And you know you attended some conferences, you go stay in five star hotels. And
then you think you have done your best for the deen of Allah.

01:14:18 --> 01:14:20
			Unfortunately, this the state of the Muslims today

01:14:22 --> 01:14:23
			you know, you

01:14:25 --> 01:14:27
			go to the masjid in in the summer.

01:14:29 --> 01:14:43
			When and you put on the AC in the winter you put on the heater without spending a dime without
shedding a single drop of blood for a loss of Hannah Montana. And then you think that you have done
something?

01:14:46 --> 01:14:47
			Is that what the Assad did?

01:14:49 --> 01:14:51
			They the spirit nothing for

01:14:52 --> 01:14:58
			for the surface of Allah and His Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. They give everything

01:15:00 --> 01:15:01
			They gave everything

01:15:04 --> 01:15:09
			including their lives and that is why they deserve this title of the Ansari

01:15:11 --> 01:15:13
			that is why they were given this title.

01:15:16 --> 01:15:21
			The helpers alongside the helpers they did truly help

01:15:23 --> 01:15:26
			the deen of Allah and Allah and His Messenger sort of long it was

01:15:28 --> 01:15:41
			so how Nicola gonna be humbuckers shredwell Allah Allah, Allah and Sophie recover to rake, also li
