The Battle of Elbye was a major event after the previous year, with the Jews having a plan to rally all the army against the Prophet sallal. The Battle was a massive army of thousands of men, and the agreement was that they would provide thousands of men for the Jews to pay. The speakers discuss the rise of Islam in the United States, including the use of military equipment and warfare, and the importance of protecting oneself and others during difficult situations. They stress the need for optimism and building upon one's own successes, and emphasize the importance of not denying oneself and not denying oneself the Prophet sallama's desire to bring peace to Yemen and the history of the United States.

00:00:00 --> 00:00:05
			Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen wa

00:00:06 --> 00:00:11
			Salatu was Salam ala at Emanuel Ax Melania. Allah. Allah He urged Marian

00:00:13 --> 00:00:19
			Bala Ali, he also had to be women to be heavier. was still going to be so naughty he la yo Medina.

00:00:21 --> 00:00:23
			Alumni alumni in Verona, when found out

00:00:24 --> 00:00:25
			was it didn't

00:00:27 --> 00:00:35
			already know how to help on TV I already know about the Lebel, bleeding edge, Tina. But John and me
men used

00:00:37 --> 00:00:43
			to be a seller about Salam alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

00:00:47 --> 00:00:52
			Last week, we covered the story of Elif

00:00:54 --> 00:00:56
			the cylinder

00:00:59 --> 00:01:04
			and the details of how it unfolded, and the aftermath.

00:01:07 --> 00:01:11
			And the many lessons that can be derived from that story.

00:01:12 --> 00:01:20
			And we mentioned how this incident took place. On the way back from what was what, Benny, almost
Talak.

00:01:24 --> 00:01:32
			So this was the last major event before the Battle of his app.

00:01:33 --> 00:01:39
			And so today we move on to the Battle of elhassan, which took place in

00:01:40 --> 00:01:42
			Chawan, of the fifth

00:01:43 --> 00:01:45
			year after the Hitler.

00:01:48 --> 00:01:50
			And so we start by looking at the background

00:01:52 --> 00:01:53
			of this battle

00:01:54 --> 00:01:55
			and

00:01:56 --> 00:01:57
			how it came about.

00:02:00 --> 00:02:06
			Previously, we had discussed the presence of the Jews in Medina.

00:02:08 --> 00:02:11
			And we mentioned how there were three tribes.

00:02:13 --> 00:02:17
			And we saw how two of these tribes so far

00:02:19 --> 00:02:26
			betrayed their agreement and their pledge with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and so they
were expelled.

00:02:27 --> 00:02:33
			First it was been by Luca, and then it was then you know, we

00:02:35 --> 00:02:38
			we also mentioned, how many anomalies

00:02:39 --> 00:02:45
			were expelled, and many of them worked were to

00:02:46 --> 00:02:47
			hybrid.

00:02:48 --> 00:02:50
			So many of them now are in labor.

00:02:52 --> 00:02:53
			And this is north of Medina,

00:02:55 --> 00:02:57
			about 175 kilometers north of Medina.

00:03:00 --> 00:03:02
			However, they didn't like what happened to them.

00:03:04 --> 00:03:07
			And they were filled with the venom and hatred

00:03:09 --> 00:03:10
			for the Muslims

00:03:12 --> 00:03:14
			wanted to take revenge.

00:03:15 --> 00:03:18
			And so that is exactly what they decided to do.

00:03:19 --> 00:03:26
			But obviously being small in numbers, weak militarily, they couldn't do it on their own.

00:03:27 --> 00:03:29
			So they came up with a plan.

00:03:31 --> 00:03:41
			Their plan was to rally all the forces over the various Arab tribes who are hostile

00:03:42 --> 00:03:46
			to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and the Muslims starting with

00:03:47 --> 00:03:49
			the number one enemy and that is Polish.

00:03:52 --> 00:03:55
			And so they went to Mecca

00:03:58 --> 00:04:02
			some of their leaders went from keyboard all the way to to Mecca

00:04:04 --> 00:04:05
			to meet Quraysh.

00:04:07 --> 00:04:08
			And

00:04:10 --> 00:04:12
			you don't get them to join

00:04:14 --> 00:04:19
			along with other Arabs, other Arab tribes to attack Medina.

00:04:22 --> 00:04:27
			Now the Arabs used to consider the Jews to be

00:04:28 --> 00:04:34
			the educated ones, the learned ones, they knew how to read and write.

00:04:35 --> 00:04:36
			They had the Scriptures with them.

00:04:37 --> 00:04:39
			So when the Jews arrived in Mecca

00:04:42 --> 00:04:44
			some of the chiefs of courage asked them

00:04:46 --> 00:04:47
			you are the learning demand.

00:04:49 --> 00:04:53
			You are the People of the Book. So tell us

00:04:54 --> 00:04:55
			who is right.

00:04:57 --> 00:04:58
			Who is upon the truth.

00:04:59 --> 00:04:59
			US

00:05:00 --> 00:05:03
			Are them meaning us Quraysh or

00:05:04 --> 00:05:05
			Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:05:07 --> 00:05:11
			So the Jews would tell them, You are upon the truth.

00:05:14 --> 00:05:15
			And

00:05:16 --> 00:05:21
			it is concerning this that Allah subhanahu Attallah revealed in Surah Nisa.

00:05:22 --> 00:05:24
			And I'm Tara Illa Latina.

00:05:25 --> 00:05:41
			Yes. Ramune LM Tara era Latina o to na si dominant Kitabi you mean una Bill GBT? What would be your
Cullotta? Little lady in Cafaro? How olare Amina Latina, ammonoosuc de la.

00:05:42 --> 00:05:44
			Have you not seen those who are given

00:05:45 --> 00:05:48
			a portion of the Scripture, these Jews?

00:05:49 --> 00:05:59
			Yet they believe in idols and false gods. And they reassured the disbelievers meaning kurush that
they are better guided than the believers.

00:06:02 --> 00:06:04
			One would wonder what

00:06:06 --> 00:06:12
			in the world would make the Jews to claim that these pagan machinery cool

00:06:14 --> 00:06:16
			are more guided than the Muslims?

00:06:18 --> 00:06:21
			The Jews have much more in common with the Muslims,

00:06:22 --> 00:06:24
			then these should be cool.

00:06:25 --> 00:06:26
			And so the answer

00:06:27 --> 00:06:28
			is simple.

00:06:30 --> 00:06:35
			The Jews had this jealousy, this envy and hatred

00:06:36 --> 00:06:39
			for Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And the Muslims,

00:06:41 --> 00:06:43
			even though they knew very well,

00:06:44 --> 00:06:47
			that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has been sent by Allah.

00:06:48 --> 00:06:50
			They recognize him as Allah says,

00:06:52 --> 00:06:57
			even more than they recognize their own their own sons and their own children.

00:06:58 --> 00:06:59
			Also,

00:07:01 --> 00:07:03
			the Jews came to Mecca

00:07:04 --> 00:07:07
			on this particular mission, to please correct

00:07:09 --> 00:07:12
			and convince them of doing what they had come for.

00:07:14 --> 00:07:16
			So this now paved the way

00:07:18 --> 00:07:18
			for

00:07:20 --> 00:07:20
			Quraysh

00:07:22 --> 00:07:22
			to join.

00:07:24 --> 00:07:30
			Now, this basically gave Qureshi even more of a reason to answer the call of these Jews.

00:07:34 --> 00:07:43
			So they went to Mecca. And they managed to rally Quraysh and other tribes around Mecca as well.
tribes that were

00:07:45 --> 00:07:47
			in an alliance with Quraysh.

00:07:52 --> 00:07:56
			Especially one particular tribe, and that is a tribal quarter fan.

00:07:59 --> 00:08:01
			And so they managed with all of these different tribes

00:08:03 --> 00:08:08
			to bring together a coalition of 10,000 men strong.

00:08:10 --> 00:08:19
			And this is why Allah referred to them as an zap, which means the Confederates, or the allies,

00:08:20 --> 00:08:27
			and this was the largest army ever brought together against the Muslims until this point.

00:08:31 --> 00:08:33
			The Battle of Bethel was

00:08:34 --> 00:08:35
			1000

00:08:37 --> 00:08:38
			The battle was offered was

00:08:42 --> 00:08:43
			3000

00:08:45 --> 00:08:48
			and now we have 10,000.

00:08:50 --> 00:08:53
			The agreement was that this tribe of Hunter fan

00:08:55 --> 00:08:57
			would provide 6000 men

00:08:58 --> 00:09:06
			in exchange for the Jews paying them the entire date harvest or half of the date harvest of Hiber
for one year.

00:09:10 --> 00:09:17
			And so a lot of hand, we're known among the Arabs as being mercenaries.

00:09:19 --> 00:09:20
			You just needed the right

00:09:22 --> 00:09:26
			price to offer to them to secure their services.

00:09:28 --> 00:09:30
			And that's exactly what the Jews did here.

00:09:31 --> 00:09:31
			So,

00:09:32 --> 00:09:38
			the tribal Hatha fan we're in it for, for the money, nothing else.

00:09:39 --> 00:09:43
			Whereas the Jews and Quraysh

00:09:44 --> 00:09:46
			they were in it to eliminate

00:09:47 --> 00:09:49
			the Muslims want to once and for all.

00:09:51 --> 00:09:53
			So here you have 6000

00:09:54 --> 00:09:59
			Soldiers from a hunter fan and the rest were from coration the other day

00:10:00 --> 00:10:00
			other trials.

00:10:02 --> 00:10:03
			So now,

00:10:04 --> 00:10:10
			news of this huge army reaches Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:10:11 --> 00:10:14
			And so he holds in emergency meeting

00:10:15 --> 00:10:17
			Assura to consult

00:10:19 --> 00:10:24
			the Companions, he wanted ideas on what to do.

00:10:25 --> 00:10:32
			How can we defend ourselves from this massive army, the likes of which we have never seen before.

00:10:34 --> 00:10:36
			And so among them was

00:10:37 --> 00:10:39
			Samantha Pharisee Robbie, a wild man.

00:10:41 --> 00:10:44
			And so when he saw that no one was offering

00:10:45 --> 00:10:48
			a concrete practical plan.

00:10:49 --> 00:10:50
			He made a suggestion.

00:10:52 --> 00:10:53
			He said, Yeah, rasool Allah,

00:10:54 --> 00:11:00
			in our land of Persia, remember Sandman. Pharisee was not an Arab. He was not from there.

00:11:02 --> 00:11:05
			And we learned from his story and how he ended up in Medina.

00:11:07 --> 00:11:11
			Previously we spoke about that. And so he came from the land of Persia.

00:11:12 --> 00:11:26
			He says, y'all rasool Allah in our land in Persia, if we fear an enemy army coming with their
horses, their Calvary, we would dig trenches all around us.

00:11:27 --> 00:11:30
			He said, O Messenger of Allah, why don't we dig a trench.

00:11:32 --> 00:11:35
			So Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam liked the idea.

00:11:36 --> 00:11:40
			The Muslims, they liked the idea, even though

00:11:41 --> 00:11:43
			it was not something

00:11:44 --> 00:11:52
			that the Arabs were familiar with. It's not something that the Arabs had ever used as a tactic in
military in warfare.

00:11:53 --> 00:11:56
			And so the idea was approved and now it was time

00:11:57 --> 00:11:58
			to plan.

00:12:00 --> 00:12:04
			Now, it was impossible for them to

00:12:05 --> 00:12:08
			dig a trench all around Medina.

00:12:10 --> 00:12:13
			The reason for this was that they didn't have the manpower.

00:12:14 --> 00:12:16
			Nor did they have the time.

00:12:17 --> 00:12:22
			You know, in a few days, the Army is going to be here. So

00:12:24 --> 00:12:26
			they chose a vulnerable location,

00:12:28 --> 00:12:30
			which was the Northern Front of Medina.

00:12:32 --> 00:12:37
			This was because Medina was naturally protected.

00:12:40 --> 00:12:41
			From the east and west.

00:12:43 --> 00:12:46
			The areas of the East and the West are filled with

00:12:48 --> 00:12:50
			volcanic lava rock.

00:12:51 --> 00:12:53
			Fields of black,

00:12:55 --> 00:12:55
			sharp,

00:12:57 --> 00:13:02
			lava rock, leftover from volcanoes that erupted 1000s of years ago.

00:13:05 --> 00:13:11
			And these fields of lava rock or they are present until this very day, if you were to go to the
outskirts of Medina,

00:13:12 --> 00:13:14
			to the east or to the west, you will find

00:13:15 --> 00:13:17
			large fields.

00:13:18 --> 00:13:20
			It's like black in the middle of the desert.

00:13:21 --> 00:13:23
			And you could see it if you're in the plane.

00:13:25 --> 00:13:33
			So it was impossible for an army with its horses to travel over, over these volcanic

00:13:35 --> 00:13:35
			fields.

00:13:36 --> 00:13:39
			So this is the east and the west as for the south of Medina.

00:13:41 --> 00:13:43
			This was an area that was filled with farmland,

00:13:45 --> 00:13:45
			agriculture.

00:13:47 --> 00:13:51
			And you had closely attached homes

00:13:53 --> 00:13:54
			that were built up very high.

00:13:56 --> 00:14:06
			And these were the homes and the fortresses of the Jews. And so the southwestern part of Medina.

00:14:07 --> 00:14:12
			This is where you had the last remaining tribe that existed in Medina and that is

00:14:13 --> 00:14:15
			Ben Cora Eva.

00:14:16 --> 00:14:17
			So

00:14:19 --> 00:14:28
			the southern front of Medina also makes it difficult for an army to penetrate through. So all we
have left is the northern part. And this is the side

00:14:30 --> 00:14:40
			that is vulnerable. The army can easily enter Medina from this side. And so the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam decided to dig the trench in this location.

00:14:42 --> 00:14:44
			And there is a small mountain in this location.

00:14:45 --> 00:14:48
			The prophets of salaam said we will leave our backs to the small mountain

00:14:50 --> 00:14:54
			and we will face the trench. That mountain is called Jebel Salem.

00:14:57 --> 00:14:59
			And so the work started off

00:15:00 --> 00:15:01
			digging the trench.

00:15:02 --> 00:15:03
			Every 10 men

00:15:04 --> 00:15:09
			were given 40 feet of land to dig.

00:15:11 --> 00:15:12
			They split into groups,

00:15:13 --> 00:15:14
			and they started to dig.

00:15:16 --> 00:15:18
			But the conditions were very difficult.

00:15:20 --> 00:15:27
			But Emma did a Muslim or the one where he says, our nights during the digging of the hunt duck was
daytime.

00:15:28 --> 00:15:31
			Meaning that they had to work around the clock.

00:15:33 --> 00:15:37
			They had to work all day and only because they didn't have any time.

00:15:40 --> 00:15:42
			In sahih, Al Bukhari and Muslim

00:15:43 --> 00:15:45
			mseb Malik are on the wall right? He says,

00:15:46 --> 00:15:55
			the Messenger of Allah went out to the trench as they were digging, and he found that the mahadji
rune and the Ansari were busy digging.

00:15:56 --> 00:15:57
			It was a cold morning,

00:15:58 --> 00:16:02
			and they had no servants or slaves to do the work for them.

00:16:03 --> 00:16:42
			When he saw what they were suffering from, the hard labor and the hunger, he said Allahumma in Ella
Ayesha Ayesha era furtherfield Ansari will Mahadeva he said, Oh Allah, life indeed, is that of the
African life. The true life is that of the afterlife. So forgive the unsought and the mahadji rune.
So, meaning that their life may be difficult in this dunya look at what they're going through, but
their real life is in Africa. So, when the Sahaba heard this,

00:16:44 --> 00:16:45
			these are rhyming words

00:16:46 --> 00:16:57
			like poetry. So they responded with something similar. They said national Liliana Barea room Hamedan
energy her Dima the cleaner and

00:16:58 --> 00:17:09
			they said we are the ones who pledged to give them to we are the ones who pledged to Mohamed to
fight Jihad forever as long as we live.

00:17:12 --> 00:17:38
			Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Sahaba would also recite as they were digging the
trench, they would say Hola Hola. Hola. Hola. Hola. Hola. Hola. Hola, internet. Dana. What are the
Soldotna wala Selena? Oh Allah without you, we would not have been guided nor would we have been
charitable. Nor would we have prayed

00:17:39 --> 00:17:50
			for en Zeeland Sakina tener Halina was a bitter academic in Latina. So send tranquillity upon us and
make us stand firm when we meet the enemy

00:17:51 --> 00:17:55
			in the Lula DiBello Allah in our in order to fit metal Elena,

00:17:56 --> 00:17:58
			they had wronged us

00:17:59 --> 00:18:04
			and they want to put us through a fitna a trial, but we will not let them

00:18:10 --> 00:18:12
			now we mentioned that

00:18:14 --> 00:18:15
			the conditions were extremely tough.

00:18:18 --> 00:18:19
			They were laboring very hard.

00:18:21 --> 00:18:23
			And at the same time, they were suffering from hunger.

00:18:25 --> 00:18:26
			There wasn't much food.

00:18:28 --> 00:18:30
			And so in social Buhari,

00:18:32 --> 00:18:33
			and he said Ben Malik robiola,

00:18:34 --> 00:18:37
			he says they would have a handful of barley

00:18:39 --> 00:18:41
			and some foul smelling

00:18:42 --> 00:18:43
			animal fat

00:18:45 --> 00:18:46
			as a meal for them.

00:18:48 --> 00:18:54
			He says hungry as they were it struck in their throat and smell that this was there food.

00:18:56 --> 00:18:58
			They didn't have anything else to eat.

00:19:00 --> 00:19:02
			But they ate this because they had nothing else.

00:19:04 --> 00:19:05
			You know, some rotten fat,

00:19:06 --> 00:19:09
			long expired and some barley.

00:19:11 --> 00:19:19
			Even Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was so hungry that he had tied a stone or flat stone to
his stomach

00:19:20 --> 00:19:21
			to suppress the hunger

00:19:23 --> 00:19:24
			but his spirits were high.

00:19:28 --> 00:19:30
			In sahih, Al Bukhari and Sahih Muslim

00:19:31 --> 00:19:33
			Jad jab at bin Abdullah robiola, right?

00:19:35 --> 00:19:38
			He tells us a story as they were digging.

00:19:39 --> 00:19:48
			He says, When the trench was being dug, I noticed signs of hunger on the face of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:19:49 --> 00:19:55
			So I went back to my family, my wife and I said to her, Do you have anything in the house?

00:19:56 --> 00:19:58
			Do you have anything to eat?

00:19:59 --> 00:19:59
			I have seen

00:20:00 --> 00:20:04
			signs of severe hunger on the face of the messenger of allah sallallahu. It was.

00:20:05 --> 00:20:14
			So she brought out a bag that contained one SAR, which is a measure equal to three kilograms.

00:20:16 --> 00:20:18
			She brought a one size of barley.

00:20:20 --> 00:20:24
			She said our job, he says, we also had a lamb

00:20:26 --> 00:20:28
			a lamb that was at the back of the home.

00:20:29 --> 00:20:31
			So I slaughtered the lamb

00:20:33 --> 00:20:43
			and she ground the flour for baking bread. She got the flour ready for baking bread. I cut up the
meat and put it in the cooking pot.

00:20:47 --> 00:20:59
			When I was going back to invite the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam my wife said to
me, she said Do not embarrass me before Rasul allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:21:00 --> 00:21:02
			and his companions.

00:21:04 --> 00:21:05
			what she was saying is

00:21:08 --> 00:21:09
			that the food is not enough.

00:21:12 --> 00:21:17
			So, and the Sahaba there are many, maybe 1000.

00:21:19 --> 00:21:22
			So, John, there will be Allah who had, he says,

00:21:24 --> 00:21:37
			when I came to the Prophet sallallahu How do you send them I whispered in his ear. I said, O
Messenger of Allah, we have slaughtered a small group, a small lamb, and we have grounded and
prepared

00:21:38 --> 00:21:40
			one surah Bardi.

00:21:41 --> 00:21:46
			So please accompany with a few of your companions.

00:21:49 --> 00:21:51
			So when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam heard this

00:21:53 --> 00:21:54
			and being who he was

00:21:55 --> 00:22:07
			the sharing caring leader that he was, he announced with a loud voice, or people of the trench,
Jabir has arranged a feast for you. So all of you are welcome.

00:22:09 --> 00:22:11
			So then he turned to me and said,

00:22:12 --> 00:22:15
			do not take the pot off of the fire,

00:22:16 --> 00:22:19
			nor bake the flour until I arrive.

00:22:21 --> 00:22:22
			He says, I came home.

00:22:24 --> 00:22:28
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was behind us. My wife said,

00:22:29 --> 00:22:32
			this is going to be an embarrassment for you today.

00:22:33 --> 00:22:35
			She is thinking there's not enough food.

00:22:37 --> 00:22:38
			So I said, I did what you told me to do.

00:22:40 --> 00:22:42
			Then she brought out the flower

00:22:43 --> 00:22:50
			that was molded, ready to be late. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam took it.

00:22:51 --> 00:22:53
			And he blew into it with some spirit.

00:22:55 --> 00:23:00
			And then he went to the cooking pot. And he did the same thing.

00:23:01 --> 00:23:03
			You know, putting his Baraka into it.

00:23:04 --> 00:23:13
			And then he said, called another woman to help bake the bread and let her take out from the cooking
pot. But do not take it off of the fire.

00:23:16 --> 00:23:19
			Job, you know, the Allahu Han says there were about 1000 guests.

00:23:20 --> 00:23:35
			All of them ate from it, until they left the food and went off. They were still leftover food. He
says, our pot still bubbled as before, and the dough was being baked as before.

00:23:36 --> 00:23:48
			In another narration, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says to him, tell your wife to come
and eat from it, and to gift it, you know, go and send this food to others because we are
experiencing a famine.

00:23:50 --> 00:24:00
			And so this is from the miracles in the Battle of zap. And there were many miracles that took place.
This is one of them. Another miracle

00:24:02 --> 00:24:05
			that occurred as they were digging the trench

00:24:07 --> 00:24:10
			was that as they were digging,

00:24:11 --> 00:24:15
			they came across a huge hard rock.

00:24:16 --> 00:24:19
			And they tried several times to break it but they couldn't.

00:24:20 --> 00:24:22
			So they called the Prophet salallahu it who said

00:24:24 --> 00:24:29
			he came and he struck the rock with his speed three times.

00:24:30 --> 00:24:34
			And each time he was striking, a bright light would spark

00:24:35 --> 00:24:40
			and in another narration it was like a light in the middle of a dark or dark night.

00:24:42 --> 00:24:45
			So anyways, the first time he struck it,

00:24:46 --> 00:24:56
			he said Allahu Akbar. The Keys of a sham have been granted to me. I swear by a lot. I can see it's
pelisses At this moment

00:24:58 --> 00:24:59
			and then on the second

00:25:00 --> 00:25:02
			Drake, he said Allahu Akbar,

00:25:03 --> 00:25:12
			the keys of Persia have been granted to me. I swear by Allah I can see the white palace of the
Messiah in this very moment.

00:25:13 --> 00:25:24
			And then on the third strike, he said Allahu Akbar, I had been given the keys of Yemen. I swear by a
lot, I can see the gates of Santa hat at this very moment.

00:25:29 --> 00:25:31
			So these are two examples of

00:25:32 --> 00:25:33
			the miracles

00:25:36 --> 00:25:40
			that took place at the hands of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:25:43 --> 00:25:51
			Now, there were guards around the clock, guarding Medina, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
appointed guards

00:25:52 --> 00:25:56
			and the Sahaba would take turn in gardening.

00:25:59 --> 00:26:00
			The difficulties were increasing.

00:26:01 --> 00:26:04
			So here you have the army of Quraysh.

00:26:06 --> 00:26:07
			And a lot of iron coming.

00:26:09 --> 00:26:09
			In then

00:26:10 --> 00:26:12
			there was a serious problem

00:26:13 --> 00:26:15
			that could come at no worst time.

00:26:19 --> 00:26:21
			We mentioned that

00:26:22 --> 00:26:24
			the homes and the dwellings

00:26:26 --> 00:26:33
			of the last remaining tribe of the Jews were in Medina and they were part of the plan to protect and
Medina.

00:26:37 --> 00:26:42
			binuclear Eva, were the last remaining tribal the Jews present in Medina.

00:26:44 --> 00:26:56
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam already has that experience with the Jews and their
treachery and breaking their covenants.

00:26:57 --> 00:26:59
			So what happened was

00:27:00 --> 00:27:02
			that the Jews have been who are novoline

00:27:04 --> 00:27:09
			who were in Hiber, who are the ones who rallied this coalition force.

00:27:10 --> 00:27:15
			They went to their brothers from the engraver

00:27:16 --> 00:27:18
			and they asked them to join the coalition.

00:27:20 --> 00:27:22
			Initially, there were some hesitation,

00:27:23 --> 00:27:23
			you know,

00:27:25 --> 00:27:29
			they saw what happened to the other two tribes.

00:27:31 --> 00:27:36
			But they thought this is a force that the Muslims will not be able to withstand.

00:27:38 --> 00:27:41
			And so we might as well, we might as well join.

00:27:42 --> 00:27:45
			And so Bernal poor Eva agreed.

00:27:47 --> 00:27:52
			Rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was receiving the news

00:27:53 --> 00:27:59
			because he had spies everywhere. And so he got word that Ben will Kaurava was planning to

00:28:01 --> 00:28:05
			betray their covenant and their pledge

00:28:06 --> 00:28:10
			with the Muslims, and that they were going to join the coalition.

00:28:12 --> 00:28:16
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sins

00:28:17 --> 00:28:22
			Zubayr, eternal hawan Rhodiola way to investigate the matter.

00:28:24 --> 00:28:27
			And so as Zubayr he brings back information

00:28:28 --> 00:28:31
			that they are bringing in their animals, their livestock,

00:28:32 --> 00:28:35
			and they're fixing up and repairing their forts.

00:28:36 --> 00:28:38
			And they're paving the roads.

00:28:39 --> 00:28:42
			You know, all of this is an indication

00:28:43 --> 00:28:46
			that they're preparing for battle.

00:28:48 --> 00:28:51
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam making sounds

00:28:52 --> 00:28:56
			sad had been wild. Sad, they've been ruled out Dadda

00:28:57 --> 00:29:03
			Abdullah ibn Rwanda and Hawa to bin Jubair to further investigate the matter.

00:29:04 --> 00:29:16
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told them, there is Bernal Kure Eva has indeed decided
to betray the Muslims that secretly come and give me the news.

00:29:18 --> 00:29:19
			But if they find that

00:29:21 --> 00:29:22
			they are keeping their word

00:29:25 --> 00:29:27
			then you can make the news public.

00:29:29 --> 00:29:31
			So this tells us that

00:29:32 --> 00:29:37
			sometimes you need to hide the information from the public, from the people for their own benefit.

00:29:42 --> 00:29:43
			And so they go

00:29:44 --> 00:29:45
			these four companions

00:29:46 --> 00:29:51
			and they come back and they say two words to the prophets and Allahu Allah who would say

00:29:52 --> 00:29:55
			they say, Alden will call

00:29:58 --> 00:30:00
			Robin mo

00:30:00 --> 00:30:00
			Agra

00:30:01 --> 00:30:06
			were two tribes, or two sub tribes of who they

00:30:08 --> 00:30:09
			who had previously

00:30:11 --> 00:30:16
			betrayed some men who was also sent

00:30:17 --> 00:30:19
			to them. They killed them.

00:30:20 --> 00:30:21
			This happened in the past.

00:30:23 --> 00:30:25
			So these were treacherous tribes.

00:30:26 --> 00:30:31
			When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam heard this, he

00:30:32 --> 00:30:37
			understood, he got the signal that they have indeed

00:30:38 --> 00:30:42
			betrayed us. And they're joining the coalition.

00:30:44 --> 00:30:51
			So Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he got the point. And he started to make preparations.

00:30:52 --> 00:30:54
			He sent out to groups,

00:30:56 --> 00:31:01
			one weighed 200 men, and the other 300 men

00:31:02 --> 00:31:10
			to basically go around the area of the river, to show them that we are still strong.

00:31:12 --> 00:31:16
			We're here we're strong. And we're willing to fight

00:31:17 --> 00:31:19
			if we see that you are

00:31:21 --> 00:31:25
			going to go against us. And so it was a show of strength and to deter

00:31:27 --> 00:31:28
			these Jews

00:31:33 --> 00:31:42
			the Muslims, then we're able to intercept 20 Camera loads of dates,

00:31:43 --> 00:31:45
			and figs and barley,

00:31:46 --> 00:31:48
			that we're headed towards that

00:31:51 --> 00:31:56
			that were headed to the coalition army and their point of origin was

00:31:57 --> 00:31:59
			the forts of battle Craven.

00:32:01 --> 00:32:03
			So, this made it clear

00:32:04 --> 00:32:07
			that Bernal Karela had broken

00:32:09 --> 00:32:09
			the pact

00:32:11 --> 00:32:16
			and their covenant with the Prophet sallallahu earlier. So, anyways, these 20

00:32:17 --> 00:32:20
			caseloads ended up as being

00:32:23 --> 00:32:27
			you know, spoils of war, the Muslims ended up taking them.

00:32:29 --> 00:32:29
			However,

00:32:31 --> 00:32:37
			as we can see, this now is a very tense and difficult situation for the Muslims.

00:32:38 --> 00:32:41
			They are surrounded from all sides

00:32:43 --> 00:32:45
			for from their external enemy,

00:32:46 --> 00:32:52
			outside of the borders of Medina and now even inside

00:32:55 --> 00:33:00
			it was such as tense and difficult moment that Allah subhanahu wa Tada

00:33:01 --> 00:33:02
			described to us in the Quran

00:33:04 --> 00:33:09
			describing how intense and difficult it was, so let's go through the ayat of surah two

00:33:10 --> 00:33:14
			in which Allah subhanaw taala tells us what happened.

00:33:16 --> 00:33:17
			Who also who went to Allah says

00:33:19 --> 00:33:21
			it It's Joe coming from

00:33:23 --> 00:33:29
			Wyoming a salary income what you deserve Attila Avasarala Bella tilaka ruble Hi Nigel.

00:33:30 --> 00:33:32
			What a well known and beloved formula

00:33:34 --> 00:33:36
			when they came at you from above you,

00:33:37 --> 00:33:50
			from below you, when your eyes grew wild in horror, and your hearts jumped into your throats. And he
started to entertain conflicting thoughts about Allah.

00:33:52 --> 00:33:56
			Those who came from above them refers to the ZAP

00:33:58 --> 00:34:02
			and those who came from below them refers to when Reva

00:34:05 --> 00:34:08
			Allah describes the fear and the panic

00:34:09 --> 00:34:11
			is shifted in fear.

00:34:12 --> 00:34:15
			Hearts bound so fast

00:34:16 --> 00:34:20
			that it felt like they were coming out of the throne.

00:34:22 --> 00:34:32
			And some people started to have ill thoughts and assumptions about Allah. Like, you know, where is
the promised victory of Allah.

00:34:33 --> 00:34:34
			Allah will not allow us to win.

00:34:36 --> 00:34:38
			Or this religion cannot be

00:34:39 --> 00:34:40
			the truth

00:34:42 --> 00:34:48
			and others such thoughts? Obviously, the ones who were having these thoughts were who

00:34:50 --> 00:34:55
			know the believers not the Sahaba but as we will see, they were Damona

00:34:56 --> 00:34:59
			so now this is another added layer.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:00
			Due

00:35:02 --> 00:35:05
			to the problems that Muslims were facing

00:35:07 --> 00:35:23
			a loss of heritable metallic then says, Who nadie COVID to let me know when I was all zeros, Eleazar
and Shalida. Then in theory, the believers were put to the test. It was a huge test. And they were
violent with shakin, here Allah is describing the believers.

00:35:24 --> 00:35:29
			When it comes to the meno, the believers are the ones who were shaken.

00:35:31 --> 00:35:33
			They were afraid they didn't know what's going to happen.

00:35:34 --> 00:35:41
			The situation was tense. And the Muslims were confused. But it was a test once again, just like

00:35:42 --> 00:35:49
			the previous test, in the Battle of word. And before that, in the Battle of Blender

00:35:52 --> 00:35:52
			and

00:35:54 --> 00:36:00
			Allah subhanho, who had to hide it allows the Muslims to go through such tests, as we saw in the
battle with

00:36:01 --> 00:36:04
			to bring out the true colors of the winner of your code.

00:36:06 --> 00:36:10
			To put the line between the moon and the moon Alfie Kohn

00:36:13 --> 00:36:15
			the Emmys alone, have eaten me up.

00:36:17 --> 00:36:19
			Right to distinguish

00:36:20 --> 00:36:22
			the filth from the good.

00:36:23 --> 00:36:29
			And that is exactly what happened here. In the battle that has happened. So in these tense moments,

00:36:31 --> 00:36:32
			one of them one of them when I feel good.

00:36:34 --> 00:36:35
			We had to be been crocheted. He said,

00:36:37 --> 00:36:43
			Muhammad promised us that we will we will eat up the treasures of Kiss raw and Caesar.

00:36:44 --> 00:36:48
			Remember, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam foretold?

00:36:49 --> 00:37:02
			He said I had been given the keys of a sham and these were the lands that were governed by the
seizure of Rome. And I had been given the keys of Persia.

00:37:03 --> 00:37:16
			So this Munna, he says, Muhammad, promises that we will devour and eat up the treasures of Kisara
and Caesar and now we don't even feel safe to go and use the toilet.

00:37:17 --> 00:37:19
			This was the reaction

00:37:21 --> 00:37:25
			of the hypocrites. So Allah goes on to expose

00:37:27 --> 00:37:31
			now we will see how Allah exposes these when African just like he did

00:37:32 --> 00:37:45
			in the Battle of Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on to say, what is going on whenever you're gonna well
at the end of the year Karoubi and Mehraban mela done Allahu wa rasuluh Illa Hura and when the
hypocrites

00:37:46 --> 00:37:53
			and those with sickness in their hearts they said Allah and His Messenger have promised us nothing
but delusion.

00:37:54 --> 00:37:55
			Fake promises

00:37:57 --> 00:38:15
			what is called a BA refer to minimum yeah halaya three Bella Muqaam Allah confirm Giroux while
you're studying for you coming home and NaVi Kulu netting Naboo Tana Ratan wanna hear Vihara II read
enough your aura. And when another group of them said,

00:38:16 --> 00:38:17
			oh people of yesterday

00:38:19 --> 00:38:32
			there is no point in you staying here. So retreat, let's go back. Another group of them as the
prophets permission to leave. They came to the office of Solomon said Our homes are vulnerable.

00:38:34 --> 00:38:41
			In absolute and our, our our homes are being exposed to the enemy. We have to go and protect our
houses.

00:38:42 --> 00:38:46
			Allah says while in fact they were not vulnerable. Well, now here be our

00:38:48 --> 00:38:52
			E read una elaphe your aura, but rather they only wished to run away to free.

00:38:53 --> 00:38:56
			And so the money of your cool. They simply wanted

00:38:59 --> 00:39:00
			to abandon the Muslims.

00:39:01 --> 00:39:04
			They wanted to leave the site of the trench.

00:39:06 --> 00:39:21
			They wanted to go home with the excuse that they wanted to protect their homes. So Allah exposes
their lies and their fake excuses. As we mentioned before, it is

00:39:22 --> 00:39:25
			jihad and the battlefield that always

00:39:26 --> 00:39:29
			brings out the true colors of the mafia.

00:39:30 --> 00:39:38
			This happened in the battle hood. It happened here and it will happen again. As we will see in a
battle of two book.

00:39:39 --> 00:39:56
			And then Allah subhanaw taala says, Well, I will do here to ally him in October Yeah, so masu Iran
Pfitzner tell her I told her when I tell him that to be in is Iran if the enemy had entered from all
sides of the city

00:39:57 --> 00:39:58
			and fitna

00:39:59 --> 00:39:59
			here fear

00:40:00 --> 00:40:01
			Today refers to cover

00:40:02 --> 00:40:09
			and fit and a had been demanded of them meaning if these won't feel cool we're told to you know
openly

00:40:12 --> 00:40:24
			you know say that they are Kfar than they would have done so without any hesitation. So this idea
tells us that the Munna feel cool if they are pressured even a bit by the kuffaar.

00:40:26 --> 00:40:39
			They will openly declare declare their culture and openly say that we're not Muslims. Then Allah
subhanaw taala says, We're not going to can we're I had Allah, Allah you will know in advance.

00:40:40 --> 00:40:51
			Okay now and Allah He must Allah. They had already pledged to Allah earlier, never to turn their
backs in retreat, and a pledge to Allah must be answered for

00:40:53 --> 00:41:15
			cooling your food Colin young fella Komal Ferraro in Ferrara terminal Lotte will cuttle what either
la luna will now kalila say oh Mohamed running away, fleeing will not benefit you. If you try to
escape from death meaning natural death or being killed by the enemy.

00:41:17 --> 00:41:26
			Then if you are given a chance to live, then you will only be allowed enjoyment for a little while.
Here Allah subhanho wa Taala is saying

00:41:28 --> 00:41:31
			that if it is dead, that you are running away from

00:41:32 --> 00:41:34
			then that is destined for every person.

00:41:35 --> 00:41:40
			So running away from it is not going to change it. Even one bit.

00:41:42 --> 00:42:07
			Then Allah Subhana Allah Allah says, Coleman the lead he or she will come mean Allah He in our order
become su n o ra they become Rachna What are you doing Allah whom do and Allah He while en wala na
sera ask them, O Muhammad, who can put you out of Allah's reach, if He intends to harm you,

00:42:08 --> 00:42:09
			or show you mercy.

00:42:11 --> 00:42:26
			If Allah intends to harm you, who can prevent that from happening? If alive tends to show you mercy?
Who can prevent that from happening? Allah says they can never find any protector or helper besides
Allah. So

00:42:28 --> 00:42:31
			the Munna if you call we're looking for help from there from the wrong place.

00:42:33 --> 00:42:35
			They were looking for help from where?

00:42:36 --> 00:42:37
			From the Jews

00:42:39 --> 00:42:40
			from the kuffaar.

00:42:42 --> 00:42:45
			So Allah is saying that only he can,

00:42:46 --> 00:42:50
			you know, protect you and only he can harm you.

00:42:52 --> 00:42:54
			Then Allah subhanho wa Taala says,

00:42:55 --> 00:43:01
			Claudia Allah Mala who will who will clean them incommunicado, illegally when he him alumina Elayna

00:43:02 --> 00:43:13
			What are you tune in PEXA Illa kanila. Allah knows well, those among you who discourage others from
fighting, saying secretly to their brothers, stay with us

00:43:15 --> 00:43:21
			and who themselves hardly take part in fighting again. Here Allah is talking about them when asked.

00:43:23 --> 00:43:28
			Not only do they not go out and fight, but then they start discouraging others from doing so.

00:43:29 --> 00:43:49
			She had an article for either journal hopeful or Aidan Jambul Runa ileka Do you kill lady yo sha
Allah He made a note for either the herbal hopeful seller who can be seen it in he did a show
tonight and hype. When I tell him you're not alone.

00:43:50 --> 00:43:55
			Okay, daddy God Allah He does see Allah, they are stingy to you.

00:43:56 --> 00:43:59
			They are totally unwilling to assist you.

00:44:01 --> 00:44:11
			When fear comes, when danger comes, you see them staring at you with the eyes rolling, like someone
being overcome by death.

00:44:12 --> 00:44:18
			You know, just look at their faces. Look at the fear in their faces, their eyes start rolling.

00:44:19 --> 00:44:29
			But once the fear is gone, once the danger is gone, they slash you with razor sharp tongues,

00:44:30 --> 00:44:38
			Stingy towards any good meaning, not wanting to spend anything in any good.

00:44:39 --> 00:44:40
			Allah says such people

00:44:41 --> 00:44:45
			have truly not believed who that decolonial

00:44:47 --> 00:44:56
			so Allah has rendered their deeds void Allah has allowed their deeds to go to waste and that is easy
for Allah.

00:44:57 --> 00:44:59
			So here, ALLAH is talking about one

00:45:00 --> 00:45:01
			Have the treats of the mafia code

00:45:02 --> 00:45:03
			that in times of fear,

00:45:04 --> 00:45:11
			their eyes rotate out of fear. And they don't know what to say. They're confused.

00:45:12 --> 00:45:16
			But when the fear goes away, they are loud.

00:45:18 --> 00:45:21
			And they start criticizing the Muslims.

00:45:23 --> 00:45:25
			So it is only in difficult times

00:45:27 --> 00:45:27
			that

00:45:29 --> 00:45:31
			you don't the true colors of these people they come up.

00:45:32 --> 00:45:37
			Then Allah subhana wa Tada says, yeah, so Google has Bella Mia taboo.

00:45:38 --> 00:45:45
			wer e till Zabu? Yeah, what do nano they're doing I feel RRBs alone. I'm that eco.

00:45:46 --> 00:45:50
			One Oh, camel fuchal now quite Hello Illa kalila.

00:45:51 --> 00:45:56
			They still think that the enemy alliance that has not yet withdrawn

00:45:57 --> 00:46:13
			and if the allies that zap were to come again, the hypocrites would wish to be away in the desert
among the Bedouins. Only asking for news about you above the believers.

00:46:14 --> 00:46:20
			And if the hypocrites were with you in your mitts, they would hardly take part in fighting.

00:46:21 --> 00:46:22
			And so

00:46:23 --> 00:46:25
			if the armies attack Medina,

00:46:27 --> 00:46:31
			these wonderful goon would wish that they were not in Medina,

00:46:32 --> 00:46:35
			but rather that they were somewhere far in the desert.

00:46:36 --> 00:46:38
			Hearing the latest news

00:46:39 --> 00:46:42
			in other words, the Munna feel cool

00:46:43 --> 00:46:49
			are those who wish that they are sitting away from the places of conflict.

00:46:51 --> 00:46:59
			Watching what is happening to the Muslims, on their TV sets on their smartphones, getting the latest
news

00:47:00 --> 00:47:07
			but they don't want to be there in the danger zone where the Muslims are under fire.

00:47:09 --> 00:47:13
			And even if they were there among the Muslims, Allah says here

00:47:16 --> 00:47:17
			they wouldn't take part in the fighting.

00:47:19 --> 00:47:20
			Nakata know Allah Korea.

00:47:23 --> 00:47:28
			And so this is a dangerous trait of demography. That

00:47:29 --> 00:47:30
			even we need to be aware of

00:47:32 --> 00:47:33
			that we don't have this trait.

00:47:37 --> 00:47:42
			But rather, a sign of Eman is as a Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says

00:47:43 --> 00:47:45
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says

00:47:47 --> 00:47:49
			that whoever does not

00:47:50 --> 00:47:51
			wage battle

00:47:54 --> 00:47:55
			nor does he

00:47:57 --> 00:47:59
			tell himself that I'm going to go and wage battle.

00:48:01 --> 00:48:04
			I'm Yazoo, where are you headed? So beloved Zoo.

00:48:05 --> 00:48:07
			Mata Anna sure about

00:48:08 --> 00:48:15
			that if he was to die in this state he dies with a characteristic of hypocrisy.

00:48:17 --> 00:48:24
			Anyways, after Allah Subhana Allah to Allah finishes talking about the Munna if you look at how many
ayat

00:48:27 --> 00:48:33
			Allah reveals talking about them whenever you're born and their reaction to

00:48:35 --> 00:48:43
			the facade and the coalition army that comes after mentioning all of this Allah subhanho wa taala.

00:48:45 --> 00:48:50
			switches to talk about the reaction of the believers.

00:48:51 --> 00:48:55
			And so Allah subhanho wa Taala says, What am I mean who

00:48:57 --> 00:49:02
			called who had an hour I don't know Allahu wa rasuluh who was sadhaka wa who was older

00:49:03 --> 00:49:06
			when as the home Illa Eman and went to sleep.

00:49:07 --> 00:49:10
			When the believers saw that, as up

00:49:12 --> 00:49:16
			they said, This is what Allah and His messenger had promised us.

00:49:18 --> 00:49:21
			And the Promise of Allah and His Messenger is true.

00:49:23 --> 00:49:25
			And it has come true before our eyes

00:49:26 --> 00:49:30
			it's all Allah says it's all this only increase them in Amen and then submission.

00:49:32 --> 00:49:33
			When the believers

00:49:34 --> 00:49:35
			they saw the difficulties

00:49:37 --> 00:49:38
			they didn't coward.

00:49:41 --> 00:49:43
			Yes, naturally they were afraid.

00:49:45 --> 00:49:51
			The situation was tense. However, Allah tells us here that their Eman increased even more

00:49:53 --> 00:49:55
			because they knew that Allah would test them.

00:49:57 --> 00:49:59
			And this is exactly what was happening.

00:50:00 --> 00:50:03
			They knew that this is a test from Allah.

00:50:04 --> 00:50:06
			They experienced it before

00:50:07 --> 00:50:08
			in the Battle of land,

00:50:10 --> 00:50:11
			in the Battle of bedroom,

00:50:12 --> 00:50:20
			the test of Allah for the believers come in different forms. But they understood very well. This was
yet another four.

00:50:21 --> 00:50:24
			So look at how one incident

00:50:25 --> 00:50:28
			brought forth different reactions to it.

00:50:29 --> 00:50:40
			Both groups had fear, the Manasa goon and also the believers, they were fear, they were afraid, as
Allah mentioned in the beginning of the ayat.

00:50:42 --> 00:50:44
			But the reactions were different.

00:50:46 --> 00:50:50
			And that is a difference between the believers. And when I feel good.

00:50:51 --> 00:50:57
			The believers acted positively, while the graphical acted negatively.

00:50:58 --> 00:51:02
			So insha Allah Jota. And next week, we'll move on to what happens when

00:51:03 --> 00:51:05
			the ASABE arrive.

00:51:06 --> 00:51:15
			And they see this trench. And so we'll conclude tonight with some of the lessons that we learned
from this part of the battle.

00:51:17 --> 00:51:18
			The first lesson that we learned

00:51:19 --> 00:51:24
			is the importance of taking practical means

00:51:25 --> 00:51:29
			for war for jihad,

00:51:32 --> 00:51:33
			preparing for it

00:51:35 --> 00:51:37
			based on what is available to us.

00:51:39 --> 00:51:42
			And so we see from this battle of Zab, that

00:51:45 --> 00:51:49
			the two pillars, that victory lies in

00:51:51 --> 00:51:57
			if Allah is going to grant us victory, it lies in two things. Number one, taking the practical means

00:51:58 --> 00:52:05
			at our disposal, at our availability, to fight the enemy and to defend ourselves.

00:52:07 --> 00:52:21
			Allah subhanaw taala says what I do love them. That's the title of Kuwaiti Emir Renato Haley to
Hebrew gonna be here and to Allahu wa to welcome, prepare against them against your enemy, whatever
you can.

00:52:23 --> 00:52:29
			Whatever you are able to have strength of power of

00:52:31 --> 00:52:34
			cavalry, training horses, to go into battle,

00:52:35 --> 00:52:46
			that which will terrorize your enemy, the enemy of Allah and your enemy. So we have to do our part
in the past, it was horses, it was spears, it was sword.

00:52:50 --> 00:52:53
			And in the case of this battle, it was a trench.

00:52:54 --> 00:52:55
			He was digging the trench.

00:52:57 --> 00:53:02
			So that's what it was in the past, in in today's day and age. We have to build armies, we have to,

00:53:03 --> 00:53:09
			you know, have weapons, we have to have tanks, we have to have missiles and jets and so on and so
forth.

00:53:10 --> 00:53:24
			And the second pillar that victory lies on is Elon, you have been believing in the Promise of Allah,
and then to what could bring your trust in Allah. As Allah says here

00:53:25 --> 00:53:28
			in this area, William minuman, who

00:53:29 --> 00:53:37
			called who had an hour Adam, Allah who was who was for the Kula Zulu what Masada who ill Eman and
what Taslima

00:53:38 --> 00:53:41
			and so, the point here is

00:53:44 --> 00:53:45
			giving importance

00:53:46 --> 00:53:53
			to taking the practical means to defend the Muslims here the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:53:54 --> 00:53:55
			He saw the danger.

00:53:56 --> 00:53:59
			He didn't just sit there and say and say,

00:54:00 --> 00:54:05
			well, there's nothing we can do about it. Let's just wait here for a miracle from Allah.

00:54:06 --> 00:54:06
			No.

00:54:08 --> 00:54:12
			Also, look at how to suit Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:54:13 --> 00:54:21
			Welcome the idea of salamander fatty zero they'll walk right, even though it was something foreign
to him

00:54:22 --> 00:54:23
			and to the Arabs in general.

00:54:24 --> 00:54:32
			And so it shows us how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was willing to explore new and
innovative ideas and ways.

00:54:36 --> 00:54:37
			And how he wasn't

00:54:38 --> 00:54:43
			close minded, but rather he was open minded when it comes to matters of the dunya.

00:54:46 --> 00:54:49
			And in this case, military tactics

00:54:50 --> 00:54:51
			and

00:54:52 --> 00:54:57
			you know, taking advantage of whatever is available to us.

00:54:59 --> 00:54:59
			And that's why the Muslim

00:55:02 --> 00:55:14
			After the death of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam they advanced the way they did in science
and technology, using whatever knowledge that they learned

00:55:17 --> 00:55:18
			to the advantage of the Muslims

00:55:22 --> 00:55:24
			the second lesson that we learn is

00:55:26 --> 00:55:32
			how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam set a practical example for the companions

00:55:34 --> 00:55:55
			and so he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was in the trench digging with them, and Bharat Rani Allah had
never eaten Sahil Bihari. He says on the day of Allah Hassan Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
was digging the trench. I saw him carrying dirt until there was so much dirt on his stomach that I
can barely see his skin anymore.

00:55:57 --> 00:56:01
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was setting

00:56:02 --> 00:56:03
			a leadership example.

00:56:04 --> 00:56:11
			He worked alongside his companions. He didn't give orders from a high place

00:56:12 --> 00:56:14
			like leaders do today.

00:56:15 --> 00:56:18
			He didn't allow himself to be different

00:56:19 --> 00:56:22
			from his followers, when it came to

00:56:23 --> 00:56:27
			action, and cooperating in doing something together,

00:56:28 --> 00:56:34
			even though he was who he was the best of mankind in the Messenger of Allah.

00:56:35 --> 00:56:36
			And

00:56:37 --> 00:56:39
			this is not the first time that this happened.

00:56:40 --> 00:56:46
			We saw other examples of this like when they were building the masjid.

00:56:48 --> 00:56:50
			And in other examples as well.

00:56:51 --> 00:56:53
			The third lesson that we learned

00:56:55 --> 00:56:57
			is the importance of building optimism.

00:56:59 --> 00:57:00
			in difficult times.

00:57:03 --> 00:57:18
			And so, while in this difficult, fearful situation, with your enemies converging on you from all
sides, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam informed his companions of what Allah had shown him,

00:57:20 --> 00:57:25
			you know, the conquering of a sham, of Persia, of Yemen.

00:57:27 --> 00:57:28
			And all of these places,

00:57:30 --> 00:57:33
			were eventually conquered by the Messiah,

00:57:34 --> 00:57:37
			not too long after the death of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:57:38 --> 00:57:46
			But the point here was that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was planting the seeds of
optimism,

00:57:48 --> 00:57:50
			and high hopes,

00:57:51 --> 00:57:53
			and having good thoughts of Allah.

00:57:54 --> 00:57:59
			He was planting the seeds in the hearts of the Muslims, who at that moment,

00:58:00 --> 00:58:03
			were going through a very rough time.

00:58:04 --> 00:58:09
			And they were about to be faced with an army that would shake them with fear.

00:58:12 --> 00:58:14
			And so this shows us

00:58:15 --> 00:58:26
			the kind of optimism that we also need to have, in this day and age, when we see the enemies of
Islam doing what they're doing to the Muslims,

00:58:28 --> 00:58:31
			not only take the recent example of what's happening in Palestine.

00:58:35 --> 00:58:36
			But what we see is

00:58:38 --> 00:58:41
			that the believers on the ground there, they are displaying the same kind of optimism.

00:58:43 --> 00:58:44
			And they have the same

00:58:45 --> 00:58:58
			kind of sentiment, as the believers on the day of Eliza. With all of the military force, and the
advanced weapons and everything that is in the hands of their enemies.

00:59:00 --> 00:59:10
			They still believe with the theme that Allah will grant them victory. It is with such optimism that
Allah is victory truly covers.

00:59:12 --> 00:59:13
			The fourth lesson that we learned

00:59:15 --> 00:59:19
			is the enmity and the hostility of the hood.

00:59:20 --> 00:59:23
			And we've seen it before

00:59:24 --> 00:59:26
			with benoquin

00:59:27 --> 00:59:29
			and then the an allele

00:59:30 --> 00:59:36
			which is why both were expelled from Medina. And now again, the need are nowhere.

00:59:38 --> 00:59:40
			Even after being expelled from Medina,

00:59:41 --> 00:59:43
			they came back with

00:59:44 --> 00:59:45
			this coalition

00:59:47 --> 00:59:53
			you know, showing that the hearts are filled with this hatred

00:59:54 --> 00:59:55
			for the Muslims.

00:59:56 --> 00:59:59
			And then not only that, but now this third tribe

01:00:00 --> 01:00:03
			Makarova breaking their covenant.

01:00:05 --> 01:00:05
			And so

01:00:07 --> 01:00:08
			the hatred

01:00:09 --> 01:00:17
			of the Jews that they have for Islam and the Muslims is something ancient. It's not something new.

01:00:18 --> 01:00:25
			And then plotting and conspiring against Muslims, is not something new. And so when we see

01:00:26 --> 01:00:36
			how vicious the Zionist Jews are today, towards the Muslims, let us not forget that their enmity is
old.

01:00:37 --> 01:00:42
			It in fact, it is an enmity that goes even beyond

01:00:43 --> 01:00:48
			the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, extending to the prophets and the messengers before him.

01:00:54 --> 01:00:55
			It's a quality that they have.

01:00:57 --> 01:00:59
			And again, when we mentioned these things,

01:01:01 --> 01:01:05
			they will quickly accuse us of being anti semitic.

01:01:07 --> 01:01:08
			And so we need to make it clear

01:01:09 --> 01:01:13
			that anti semitism is

01:01:14 --> 01:01:19
			looking at a certain group, because of their ethnicity, and thinking you are superior to them.

01:01:20 --> 01:01:25
			And so you attack them because of that. So we Muslims, don't attack them because of that,

01:01:26 --> 01:01:27
			but rather,

01:01:28 --> 01:01:29
			because of an ideology,

01:01:31 --> 01:01:34
			because of traits that they have that are from the religion.

01:01:37 --> 01:01:38
			And so that is why,

01:01:39 --> 01:01:45
			when one of them accepts Islam, we welcome him as a Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam did,

01:01:46 --> 01:01:54
			if we were anti semitic, we wouldn't do that. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salam would have
said to the likes of Abdullah bin Salam, no,

01:01:55 --> 01:02:04
			you know, we are against you because of your race and your ethnicity. Right, the process of did not
do that. And the Muslims, until this very day, do not do that.

01:02:07 --> 01:02:09
			The fifth lesson that we learned,

01:02:10 --> 01:02:12
			and this, the last one that we'll conclude with,

01:02:13 --> 01:02:24
			is the difference between the believers and the mafia Cohen, when it when we are in difficult times,
intense times.

01:02:27 --> 01:02:28
			We saw the reaction of both.

01:02:30 --> 01:02:32
			We saw how the mafia Cohen reacted.

01:02:33 --> 01:02:38
			And we saw how the true believers reacted. And so

01:02:40 --> 01:02:46
			even today, there are munafo Cool among us who react similarly,

01:02:47 --> 01:02:59
			it's all we need to check ourselves. And we need to ask ourselves, how do we react to such difficult
and tense situations? Do we act and react like them when I feel good?

01:03:02 --> 01:03:05
			Or do we react like the believers did on the day of Allah Hassan

01:03:07 --> 01:03:09
			taking a firm stance and resolve

01:03:12 --> 01:03:14
			and standing your ground

01:03:15 --> 01:03:17
			and, you know,

01:03:18 --> 01:03:23
			offering to sacrifice your life, saying I'm going to stay in it

01:03:24 --> 01:03:26
			as opposed to what the mafia wounded,

01:03:27 --> 01:03:29
			becoming frantic, panicking.

01:03:31 --> 01:03:32
			Losing courage,

01:03:33 --> 01:03:37
			you know, showing how they were cowards.

01:03:38 --> 01:03:41
			Making excuses, wanting to run away.

01:03:42 --> 01:03:44
			Not having any trust

01:03:45 --> 01:03:46
			in the Promise of Allah.

01:03:47 --> 01:03:50
			So these are some of the lessons that we can mention.

01:03:51 --> 01:04:10
			And so in sha Allah Who to add the next week, we'll move on to what happens next. Subhan Allah who
will be handed a head to Allah Hitler intestinal fuca were to be late. Wa salatu salam ala Nabina
