The agenda includes a secret meeting between Muslims and mushroom Hoon, where they met a senior member of the Russia's family and then met a man named Mohammed who insisted on protecting his children and family. The importance of honoring the Prophet sallali wa sallam and protecting one's life and reputation is emphasized, as it is difficult to manage and result in negative behavior. The importance of preparing oneself for difficult times and not giving excuses for oneself is emphasized, and the need to work for the sake of a reward is emphasized. The importance of protecting one's life and reputation is also emphasized, as it is difficult to manage and result in negative behavior.

I mean

			we continue on our

00:00:53 --> 00:00:54
			Friday night

00:00:56 --> 00:01:00
			in which we are covering the Syrah of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:01:03 --> 00:01:04
			So last week,

00:01:06 --> 00:01:11
			we went through the story of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:01:13 --> 00:01:13
			meeting

00:01:15 --> 00:01:16
			the people of yesterday

00:01:18 --> 00:01:21
			yesterday, which would later on become known as El Medina

00:01:24 --> 00:01:28
			and these people would later on become known as the unsolved

00:01:32 --> 00:01:36
			so I'm sorry, literally means the supporters the helpers.

00:01:38 --> 00:01:46
			And so they supported the prophets of Allah, he was to help them help him and the Muslims who
migrated from Mecca.

00:01:47 --> 00:01:54
			So last week, we looked at the first encounter that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had with
them

00:01:55 --> 00:02:01
			with the people of El Medina. And then how they came back the following year,

00:02:03 --> 00:02:06
			and gave him vi gave him Pledge of Allegiance.

00:02:08 --> 00:02:12
			And then after that, how Rasul Allah he's still alive and he also sent

00:02:13 --> 00:02:18
			most of the giving of a mirror of your loved one to teach the people of in Medina

00:02:20 --> 00:02:28
			and how Islam has spread, how Islam had spread in Medina,

00:02:29 --> 00:02:33
			due to the efforts of was given only when the Allahu

00:02:35 --> 00:02:39
			and so was one of the Allah who had had done an outstanding job.

00:02:41 --> 00:02:43
			And by the time

00:02:44 --> 00:02:46
			the next Hajj season had arrived,

00:02:49 --> 00:02:50
			so we're talking about

00:02:52 --> 00:02:56
			the 13th year of the prophethood of Rasul Allah, he sort of one where it was.

00:02:59 --> 00:03:08
			So we are now in the year 13, of the better of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and we are
approaching the Hajj season.

00:03:10 --> 00:03:14
			The narrator of the Hadith, he says, By this time,

00:03:15 --> 00:03:19
			there was no house in Medina that did not have instinct.

00:03:23 --> 00:03:26
			So we can see how rapidly Islam has spread in the media.

00:03:29 --> 00:03:32
			It's almost our economy robiola well, he returned to Mecca,

00:03:34 --> 00:03:39
			right before the Hajj season. And he reported back to the solar wind and solar one where he was

00:03:41 --> 00:03:49
			giving him the full picture of the situation in Medina, and how Islam has penetrated that society

00:03:50 --> 00:03:55
			both among the two main tribes both among us and 100.

00:03:56 --> 00:03:57
			And how

00:03:59 --> 00:04:00
			this new group

00:04:01 --> 00:04:07
			of the Onsala we're ready to receive Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and give him protection.

00:04:11 --> 00:04:15
			And this was something that we all saw were anticipating

00:04:17 --> 00:04:23
			and they were voicing their concern over the safety of Rasul Allah. He saw the loggerhead he was

00:04:24 --> 00:04:25
			one of them,

00:04:27 --> 00:04:29
			jab at the Abdullah Rhodiola right, he says,

00:04:31 --> 00:04:32
			we said to one another,

00:04:33 --> 00:04:40
			until when should we leave Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to be vanished in the mountains of
Mecca

00:04:41 --> 00:04:43
			and live in fear until when.

00:04:47 --> 00:04:49
			So now it was time

00:04:52 --> 00:04:55
			for these Muslims over in Medina to

00:04:57 --> 00:04:59
			go to Mecca for the Hajj and

00:05:00 --> 00:05:02
			Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam once again.

00:05:05 --> 00:05:17
			This time, we have over 70 of the Muslims who left Vidya and were among the pilgrims from India.

00:05:18 --> 00:05:21
			So the previous year it was 12.

00:05:22 --> 00:05:25
			Okay if they add to the profits on a longer it will say.

00:05:26 --> 00:05:29
			Now, the following year it is more than 70

00:05:31 --> 00:05:35
			however, this delegation that left We're descending the Muslims

00:05:36 --> 00:05:38
			they were among con Muslims as well.

00:05:40 --> 00:05:41
			And so

00:05:42 --> 00:05:49
			they were among the mushrik Hoon of yesterday but when Maria they were among them, they left
altogether

00:05:52 --> 00:05:56
			and they had a secret meeting with Rasul Allah is a little longer it was.

00:06:00 --> 00:06:05
			So it was a secret only known to them, not to the mushy goon in their group.

00:06:12 --> 00:06:13
			Malik robiola one.

00:06:15 --> 00:06:17
			He was among this group

00:06:19 --> 00:06:20
			and he narrates the following.

00:06:23 --> 00:06:24
			He says we left

00:06:25 --> 00:06:32
			on the Hajj, having agreed to meet Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa salam at alarm

00:06:35 --> 00:06:37
			in the middle of the tertiary period,

00:06:39 --> 00:06:42
			so the same place they met him the previous year

00:06:43 --> 00:06:46
			in Milan, the campground of Milan,

00:06:47 --> 00:06:49
			at a place known as an orchestra

00:06:50 --> 00:06:52
			in the middle of the tertiary period,

00:06:53 --> 00:06:56
			the two to three days after the church,

00:06:57 --> 00:07:01
			he says we kept this as a secret. None of our people knew about it.

00:07:03 --> 00:07:07
			All of the non Muslims in our group knew nothing about this secret near

00:07:08 --> 00:07:12
			except for Abuja, Abdullah ibn haram.

00:07:13 --> 00:07:18
			He was one of our leaders at our seniors. We went up to him and we told him

00:07:19 --> 00:07:20
			Oh, Abuja

00:07:22 --> 00:07:24
			you are one of our noble leaders.

00:07:25 --> 00:07:27
			And we would like you to give up your practices.

00:07:28 --> 00:07:31
			Otherwise, one day you will end up as fuel for the hellfire.

00:07:33 --> 00:07:50
			So this Abu Jandal he ended up accepting Islam. So they told him about the secret meeting. And he
was one of the people who attended it. In fact, on a sort of what he said a long time some later on,
as we will see towards the end of the story, he appointed this individual as one of the leaders

00:07:51 --> 00:07:52
			of the authority.

00:07:55 --> 00:07:59
			So now it was time to meet rasool Allah He sort of along with it, he was

00:08:02 --> 00:08:03
			It was late at night.

00:08:05 --> 00:08:06
			After

00:08:08 --> 00:08:09
			everyone had gone to sleep

00:08:12 --> 00:08:14
			in Malakal, the alarm rang, he says

00:08:15 --> 00:08:18
			we were heading towards an uncle

00:08:19 --> 00:08:21
			in ones or twos.

00:08:22 --> 00:08:24
			So they didn't want to attract any attention.

00:08:27 --> 00:08:30
			Imagine if you have a group of 70 people

00:08:31 --> 00:08:37
			going to meet also the one Salallahu Salam it would attract the attention of courage.

00:08:38 --> 00:08:40
			So they decided to do it secretly.

00:08:42 --> 00:08:42
			Quietly

00:08:43 --> 00:08:46
			in ones it pairs

00:08:47 --> 00:08:56
			until they had all gathered at the appointed time at the appointed place in Alaska. And so after
they had gathered there

00:08:57 --> 00:08:59
			Rasul Allah He said a lot but it was sort of a shock.

00:09:03 --> 00:09:07
			He was the only Muslim from Mecca to show up at that meeting.

00:09:10 --> 00:09:11
			Like he brought one other person with

00:09:13 --> 00:09:17
			him. So if he was the only Muslim then who was this other person

00:09:19 --> 00:09:19
			from Makkah.

00:09:22 --> 00:09:25
			He was the only non Muslim from Mecca to be attacked me.

00:09:26 --> 00:09:27
			Who was he?

00:09:31 --> 00:09:35
			He was the uncle of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, which one

00:09:37 --> 00:09:39
			of us even Abdul Muttalib Rhodiola.

00:09:41 --> 00:09:45
			And at that at that time, he was still a mushrik.

00:09:49 --> 00:09:55
			So they are coming together. And they're sitting there and a lot of us was the first one to speak.

00:09:57 --> 00:09:58
			He said

00:10:00 --> 00:10:00
			Look,

00:10:03 --> 00:10:06
			Mohammed holds a position with us that you are well aware of.

00:10:09 --> 00:10:12
			We protect him from our people who think about him as we do.

00:10:14 --> 00:10:18
			He is respected among his people and he is safe in his hometown.

00:10:20 --> 00:10:23
			But he is determined to join you.

00:10:24 --> 00:10:26
			Now, obviously Allah does.

00:10:28 --> 00:10:33
			He's not giving the full picture. We all know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was no
longer safe

00:10:34 --> 00:10:38
			in Mecca, and that's why he was looking for support from outside of

00:10:41 --> 00:10:44
			Dallas is trying to get this picture that everything is

00:10:46 --> 00:10:47
			is okay and safe.

00:10:49 --> 00:11:01
			He said, If you think you can keep your trust to him in the invitation that you have given to him,
and you will protect him from his opponents, that it is up to you to fulfill your responsibilities.

00:11:02 --> 00:11:10
			But if you think that you might hand him over and abandon him after he has joined you, then leave
him right now.

00:11:12 --> 00:11:15
			He has respect and protection among his own people and in his own time.

00:11:20 --> 00:11:24
			Thus, even Abdul Muttalib wanted to make sure

00:11:26 --> 00:11:30
			that this was a commitment from the side of the salt.

00:11:32 --> 00:11:41
			He was saying that we are taking good care of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam protecting him.
However, he is insisting on leaving us

00:11:42 --> 00:11:46
			now are you going to protect him when he goes with you or not?

00:11:47 --> 00:11:49
			You wanted to see their commitment.

00:11:50 --> 00:11:51
			Now

00:11:53 --> 00:11:56
			why was an ambassador in the first place?

00:11:59 --> 00:12:01
			Why was he even present even though

00:12:03 --> 00:12:04
			he was not almost

00:12:08 --> 00:12:09
			he was his uncle.

00:12:11 --> 00:12:12
			And although he was a non Muslim,

00:12:15 --> 00:12:17
			he was a senior member of

00:12:19 --> 00:12:21
			the family of Russia.

00:12:23 --> 00:12:27
			And regardless of their differences, we didn't have a solid one or it was seldom.

00:12:28 --> 00:12:32
			Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was still a member of this family.

00:12:37 --> 00:12:40
			It was the custom of the Arabs in those days

00:12:42 --> 00:12:43
			that no matter what happens,

00:12:44 --> 00:12:45
			we have to

00:12:46 --> 00:12:47
			protect

00:12:49 --> 00:12:51
			our members, the members of our family.

00:12:52 --> 00:12:56
			So it was more of a family tribal thing for him.

00:12:59 --> 00:13:12
			Such a diverse headspace special interest in following and monitoring the activities of rasuluh 101
and making sure that if he was going to go that he was going to be safe

00:13:16 --> 00:13:19
			and thus was one of those people

00:13:20 --> 00:13:28
			who offered Rasulullah sallallahu annual some protection after his other uncle passed away of
Bhutan.

00:13:32 --> 00:13:37
			So he wanted to make sure that his nephew would be safe after he leaves his hands.

00:13:39 --> 00:13:44
			It's all that why pursue one solo lover it also allowed allowed us to come along

00:13:45 --> 00:13:47
			and be there at that meeting.

00:13:49 --> 00:13:56
			So an ibis attended this meeting as a representative of who have been hashing

00:13:57 --> 00:13:59
			to make sure that their son was welcomed.

00:14:04 --> 00:14:07
			But now, you may be wondering, why

00:14:08 --> 00:14:10
			wouldn't Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam want to leave?

00:14:12 --> 00:14:14
			If he had the protection of his family

00:14:16 --> 00:14:17
			and his uncle.

00:14:18 --> 00:14:22
			How is this different then is the time of

00:14:23 --> 00:14:24
			a pathologist.

00:14:26 --> 00:14:35
			When we mentioned previously that after the death Allah would call it the prophets of Allah and He
will simulate hydropower production.

00:14:38 --> 00:14:39
			And so

00:14:40 --> 00:14:42
			the difference is

00:14:43 --> 00:14:46
			the Old Olive was a senior in Quran.

00:14:48 --> 00:14:55
			He had respect. He had power he had authority over his people that none of your brothers

00:14:59 --> 00:14:59
			and so

00:15:00 --> 00:15:06
			ability of oil and gas to descend to Missoula while he's on the one writing some was obviously less
than that

00:15:07 --> 00:15:11
			but we thought it because of the seniority of the

00:15:12 --> 00:15:13
			advance was good

00:15:14 --> 00:15:16
			compared to his other brothers

00:15:18 --> 00:15:21
			you know if we were to look at an example

00:15:24 --> 00:15:27
			the son of Abu Talib is a highly European one right

00:15:29 --> 00:15:33
			here on the hola it was just slightly younger than having a similar one right he was

00:15:34 --> 00:15:39
			asked where the son of an owl does, although within an address,

00:15:40 --> 00:15:41
			he was much

00:15:43 --> 00:15:54
			for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was in Medina, but I believe in adverse was a teenager.
So you can see a huge difference between between the ages

00:15:55 --> 00:15:55
			of

00:15:58 --> 00:16:01
			so after a loud bass had finished speaking,

00:16:02 --> 00:16:04
			the ensemble responded.

00:16:05 --> 00:16:07
			They said we have heard what your practicing

00:16:08 --> 00:16:12
			now all messenger of Allah let us ask you what you want.

00:16:14 --> 00:16:17
			Take for yourself and for your Lord what you want.

00:16:19 --> 00:16:21
			What do you want Congress?

00:16:22 --> 00:16:25
			That's also the one that Salahuddin was sent home.

00:16:27 --> 00:16:33
			So he said, I asked you to pledge that you will defend me as you defend your women and children.

00:16:37 --> 00:16:39
			And so now we see there is an upgrade

00:16:41 --> 00:16:45
			from the earlier agreement between the first French the previous year

00:16:47 --> 00:16:48
			there

00:16:50 --> 00:16:55
			the terms of the pledge, were to adhere to the teachings of Islam,

00:16:57 --> 00:17:01
			to worship Allah alone, not to commit ship not to commit Zina, etc.

00:17:03 --> 00:17:07
			This time, we have an additional term to the contractor that is

00:17:09 --> 00:17:12
			offering Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam a defensive protection.

00:17:15 --> 00:17:18
			He also said, he told them in a different narration.

00:17:20 --> 00:17:25
			You must purge to hear and OB at times of both action and inaction.

00:17:27 --> 00:17:30
			To give whether times are tough or easy

00:17:31 --> 00:17:34
			to command, the good and forbidding evil.

00:17:35 --> 00:17:40
			You must speak out for Allah and not a fear of any bleed for standing up for Allah.

00:17:42 --> 00:17:49
			He must help and defend me if I come to you in the same way that you help and defend yourselves,
your wives and your children.

00:17:52 --> 00:17:54
			And so notice here,

00:17:55 --> 00:17:58
			how he was seeing in clear terms

00:17:59 --> 00:18:03
			that he was not going and joining them

00:18:04 --> 00:18:06
			only because they were offering protection,

00:18:08 --> 00:18:10
			but also to be their leader

00:18:12 --> 00:18:14
			that you hear and you obey.

00:18:17 --> 00:18:20
			And so he said, you're here and you obey

00:18:21 --> 00:18:24
			and you fear nothing but Allah.

00:18:26 --> 00:18:29
			And so, he was basically saying, I cannot make this move.

00:18:30 --> 00:18:33
			If you have any fear in your hearts,

00:18:34 --> 00:18:38
			you have to be willing to commit yourselves for this mission.

00:18:42 --> 00:18:43
			Now one of the leaders

00:18:45 --> 00:18:48
			among the authority as Barack Obama removed,

00:18:49 --> 00:18:55
			he stood up and he wanted to give her sort of what he felt was right he was seldom hit by this
pledge.

00:18:56 --> 00:19:05
			So he said, O Messenger of Allah, I swear by it, meaning these terms I swear by it, and I give you
my hand

00:19:07 --> 00:19:08
			to take my pledge of allegiance.

00:19:10 --> 00:19:13
			He said, O Messenger of Allah. However,

00:19:15 --> 00:19:20
			we are worriers from father to son over generations.

00:19:23 --> 00:19:24
			Meaning

00:19:26 --> 00:19:30
			we have inherited it from generation to generation.

00:19:31 --> 00:19:41
			He was basically giving his assurance to the Prophet sallallahu. That look, Yasuda, like you are
asking for our protection. Don't worry about

00:19:42 --> 00:19:46
			and this was true adults, that people have had many

00:19:47 --> 00:19:50
			medical centers, Hassan, as we mentioned last week.

00:19:52 --> 00:19:59
			They were warring crimes. They were always fighting one another. And so they had this reputation
among all the

00:20:00 --> 00:20:03
			ours has been strong, atrocious.

00:20:06 --> 00:20:08
			While Alberto was speaking,

00:20:09 --> 00:20:10
			and other

00:20:11 --> 00:20:18
			senior among them he got up and will hate them. He interrupted him and he said, O Messenger of
Allah.

00:20:20 --> 00:20:23
			He had a concern. He said, O Messenger of Allah,

00:20:25 --> 00:20:27
			we have certain treaties with others.

00:20:30 --> 00:20:31
			Who was he referring to?

00:20:32 --> 00:20:37
			They who did us, but then maybe he said we have certain trees.

00:20:39 --> 00:20:43
			And if we breed them, meaning, obviously,

00:20:44 --> 00:20:47
			when you come and join us, you're gonna be our leader.

00:20:48 --> 00:20:49
			And we're gonna get into

00:20:50 --> 00:20:51
			fights with them.

00:20:53 --> 00:20:55
			And we're gonna be victorious over there. He said,

00:20:57 --> 00:21:06
			If we break these treaties, we are concerned that if Allah gives you victory, you might return to
your people and abandons

00:21:09 --> 00:21:15
			he was saying that this commitment means that we might get into conflict with our people

00:21:16 --> 00:21:26
			who have agreements with us. So if you are victorious over your opponents, are you going to stay
with us after you are victorious? Or

00:21:28 --> 00:21:29
			are you going to go back to

00:21:31 --> 00:21:31
			it

00:21:33 --> 00:21:37
			it's all a sort of one cylinder It was sort of smiled and responded.

00:21:39 --> 00:21:41
			If your blood is sign

00:21:43 --> 00:21:44
			that our blood shown signs

00:21:46 --> 00:21:49
			and your destruction in my as well.

00:21:50 --> 00:21:52
			I am of you as you are of Me.

00:21:54 --> 00:21:59
			I will fight those who fight you and I will make peace with those countries.

00:22:02 --> 00:22:04
			And also Allah is Allah Allahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:22:06 --> 00:22:09
			Did he keep to his word? Yes.

00:22:10 --> 00:22:12
			And so years later

00:22:15 --> 00:22:16
			after

00:22:17 --> 00:22:19
			he returned to Mecca to conquer

00:22:21 --> 00:22:22
			that he is now victorious.

00:22:25 --> 00:22:32
			Did he stay in Makkah? No. Instead, even though that was his hometown,

00:22:33 --> 00:22:34
			and he loved it so much.

00:22:37 --> 00:22:39
			He didn't stay back. Instead,

00:22:40 --> 00:22:47
			he returned with the salt to a Medina until he agreed in his last 10 He was buried.

00:22:50 --> 00:22:52
			In another narration,

00:22:54 --> 00:22:55
			there is another interruption

00:22:57 --> 00:23:07
			when the unsolved started to extend their hands, to give VR to sort of what he said along or how to
set them aside the evenings or on,

00:23:08 --> 00:23:12
			stood up. And this individual, as we mentioned him last week,

00:23:13 --> 00:23:19
			he was the one who hosted Musashi, typically on the long run when he came to me.

00:23:20 --> 00:23:25
			So he was one of the earliest Muslims from the US stood up,

00:23:27 --> 00:23:31
			he interrupted everyone. And he started saying to them slow down, slow down.

00:23:36 --> 00:23:37
			See, take it easy.

00:23:40 --> 00:23:41
			He said to them, Look,

00:23:42 --> 00:23:47
			we hurried here, because we know that he is the messenger of Allah.

00:23:48 --> 00:23:49
			However,

00:23:50 --> 00:23:52
			bringing him over

00:23:54 --> 00:23:56
			to our territory

00:23:57 --> 00:24:01
			would be a provocation to all the elements

00:24:02 --> 00:24:05
			and will cause you to lose your elite.

00:24:06 --> 00:24:12
			And it would cave you in a wood box you in with swords raised against you.

00:24:14 --> 00:24:21
			If you are able to withstand up that tension, and it will be up to Allah to reward you. But

00:24:23 --> 00:24:37
			he was warning that he said, If you are a people who have great fear for yourselves, then lead him
and make that such clear. Such a course would be more forgiving

00:24:38 --> 00:24:41
			in the sight of Allah. Basically what he was seeing was

00:24:43 --> 00:24:45
			Do you realize the magnitude

00:24:46 --> 00:24:49
			of the agreement that you're entering into?

00:24:52 --> 00:24:56
			If we take him it means that we're going

00:24:57 --> 00:24:58
			against the whole world

00:25:00 --> 00:25:00
			Since it,

00:25:02 --> 00:25:03
			the stakes are high.

00:25:06 --> 00:25:08
			If you are willing to take the risk,

00:25:09 --> 00:25:10
			then go for it.

00:25:12 --> 00:25:12
			But

00:25:13 --> 00:25:19
			if you're afraid that pull up now, when you still have time before it's too late

00:25:24 --> 00:25:25
			so what did they do?

00:25:27 --> 00:25:29
			They pushed us out to the site.

00:25:30 --> 00:25:35
			And they said, we will give our Pledge of Allegiance and we will not back down on it.

00:25:38 --> 00:25:39
			So look

00:25:40 --> 00:25:42
			at the commitment of your time.

00:25:44 --> 00:25:47
			They were not free, but rather they were ready.

00:25:49 --> 00:25:55
			Now, whenever Sula why he fell along, how do you send them? Ask them for protection?

00:26:00 --> 00:26:05
			Here he was asking them for something. Obviously, it's not a one sided agreement.

00:26:07 --> 00:26:09
			In any such deal, it has to be two sided.

00:26:12 --> 00:26:14
			So, they asked him

00:26:16 --> 00:26:17
			not to sort of luck.

00:26:18 --> 00:26:21
			What will we get in exchange?

00:26:23 --> 00:26:30
			We are going to offer you protection and we are going to commit to you but what are we going to get
in exchange for that?

00:26:33 --> 00:26:34
			So

00:26:36 --> 00:26:38
			Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam responded

00:26:40 --> 00:26:41
			by saying one word.

00:26:43 --> 00:26:44
			He said

00:26:49 --> 00:26:51
			he says you can exchange for this.

00:26:53 --> 00:26:55
			You are getting and

00:26:58 --> 00:27:00
			I'm not gonna give you power.

00:27:02 --> 00:27:04
			I'm not gonna promise you a kingdom

00:27:07 --> 00:27:10
			or not promising you well, the end treasures.

00:27:11 --> 00:27:15
			I'm not promising you to be leaders after meet none of that.

00:27:17 --> 00:27:22
			All I can promise you with is the reward of a lot. And that isn't

00:27:25 --> 00:27:28
			it. So what was their response?

00:27:30 --> 00:27:31
			Their response was

00:27:33 --> 00:27:35
			that this is a profitable deal.

00:27:37 --> 00:27:38
			We will never get

00:27:40 --> 00:27:41
			this is a good deal.

00:27:43 --> 00:27:46
			So also had a lot look at this compared to

00:27:49 --> 00:27:51
			the response of the other tribes.

00:27:53 --> 00:27:54
			Previously,

00:27:55 --> 00:28:05
			we mentioned how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was going from one tribe to the other in
the campgrounds over the age, before he met the salt.

00:28:07 --> 00:28:10
			He met the various Arab tribes of Arabia.

00:28:12 --> 00:28:12
			And one of them

00:28:14 --> 00:28:19
			they were willing to offer you protection. But then they said, well, will we get any strange?

00:28:21 --> 00:28:25
			They were looking for leadership authority, they were looking to

00:28:27 --> 00:28:36
			become the leaders of the Emirates. So when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that I
cannot guarantee any of that they said in that case, we don't want to have anything to do.

00:28:38 --> 00:28:39
			So look at

00:28:40 --> 00:28:42
			the responsibility on site here.

00:28:43 --> 00:28:44
			Now,

00:28:46 --> 00:28:47
			somehow,

00:28:49 --> 00:28:54
			news of this meeting has reached and leaked out and reached crash.

00:28:57 --> 00:29:12
			And so it's not easy to conceal the meeting of 70 plus people in the crowds of heritage. In one
narration, estates that it will shape on who

00:29:13 --> 00:29:16
			basically went to corruption, toga.

00:29:17 --> 00:29:17
			Nonetheless,

00:29:19 --> 00:29:20
			however the US reached

00:29:21 --> 00:29:23
			after investigating the matter.

00:29:26 --> 00:29:32
			It led them to the authority to the people and money. So the next day early in the morning,

00:29:34 --> 00:29:40
			some of the leaders of Quraysh they went and visited the campgrounds and

00:29:43 --> 00:29:44
			they came and they said to them,

00:29:45 --> 00:29:46
			we have heard

00:29:48 --> 00:29:56
			that you have had a meeting with Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and that you have offered to
take him with you

00:29:57 --> 00:29:58
			and granted protection

00:30:00 --> 00:30:03
			Now listen, all people have yesterday.

00:30:04 --> 00:30:10
			You are the last people on the face of the earth, whom we want to have a fight with.

00:30:11 --> 00:30:18
			So Quraysh knew that these people were not easy opponents. They were warriors.

00:30:20 --> 00:30:22
			It's all they do not want to meet them there anyways.

00:30:24 --> 00:30:26
			So they wanted to know, is it true?

00:30:27 --> 00:30:28
			Did you meet him?

00:30:31 --> 00:30:33
			It's all the Muslims, among them.

00:30:35 --> 00:30:36
			They remain silent.

00:30:40 --> 00:30:42
			So the machine he called on Monday, they started to speak.

00:30:44 --> 00:30:45
			They said,

00:30:46 --> 00:30:48
			What are you talking about? That never happened?

00:30:50 --> 00:30:52
			We ever met with him.

00:30:53 --> 00:30:54
			We never even saw him.

00:30:56 --> 00:30:58
			So they were speaking the truth.

00:31:00 --> 00:31:02
			They had no idea of this meeting.

00:31:05 --> 00:31:09
			Because there was only the Muslims. Among them, who you

00:31:11 --> 00:31:18
			can call the alarm rang. He says, We the Muslims were staring at each other silently, and we did not
speak.

00:31:21 --> 00:31:25
			Then he says, I wanted to change the topic.

00:31:27 --> 00:31:32
			You know, I wanted to get their attention on this topic. So

00:31:34 --> 00:31:35
			Kathy says

00:31:37 --> 00:31:42
			inherits imitation, one of the leaders of Quraysh was present.

00:31:44 --> 00:31:48
			And he happened to be wearing new sandals.

00:31:49 --> 00:31:53
			So I told Abu Dhabi, that we Jonathan was the elder

00:31:55 --> 00:31:56
			among the unsought

00:31:58 --> 00:32:01
			I told the Buddha Oh Abuja being one of our leaders,

00:32:03 --> 00:32:11
			being one of our respected figures, you can't even afford to wear new sandals like this young man of
course.

00:32:14 --> 00:32:16
			What's wrong we, you're one of our leaders.

00:32:18 --> 00:32:25
			And you're wearing these old shoes, while this young man of coloration is wearing these brand new
samples.

00:32:27 --> 00:32:27
			So

00:32:30 --> 00:32:33
			this man of coloration, he got offended.

00:32:35 --> 00:32:38
			So he took off his sandals and through the night out

00:32:40 --> 00:32:43
			Abuja. He said

00:32:44 --> 00:32:46
			to college, he said, take it easy to have

00:32:47 --> 00:32:54
			you made the young man upset, give him back his sandals. cabbie. Malik said no,

00:32:55 --> 00:32:58
			I will not give them back to him. This is a good omen for me.

00:33:00 --> 00:33:06
			I will take his war bullying. And he looked at it as being spoils of war.

00:33:12 --> 00:33:19
			So this was basically the end of the conversation between Quraysh and allows

00:33:21 --> 00:33:35
			this meeting between Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the salt, we can clearly say that is
the most important meeting that was sort of one so the longer it will send them had so far.

00:33:37 --> 00:33:38
			So far,

00:33:39 --> 00:33:43
			in the history of Islam, this was the most important meaning.

00:33:44 --> 00:33:46
			It was a turning point in the history of his

00:33:48 --> 00:33:53
			pursuit of love, the soul of love, and he finally has a solid base

00:33:54 --> 00:33:55
			where he can go to

00:33:56 --> 00:34:09
			and he can start spreading the message of Islam with full protection and freedom to go and propagate
the word of Allah parenthood data. And so this was a story of

00:34:10 --> 00:34:12
			the second version of Africa.

00:34:14 --> 00:34:16
			We move on to the lessons that we learned

00:34:17 --> 00:34:18
			from this version.

00:34:21 --> 00:34:22
			So the first lesson that we learned

00:34:24 --> 00:34:26
			is the importance and significance

00:34:28 --> 00:34:29
			of the second page.

00:34:31 --> 00:34:33
			Caregiving madacorp your loved one.

00:34:34 --> 00:34:35
			He says,

00:34:36 --> 00:34:43
			I was there with Rasul Allah. He said the longer it was in them on the mental Hunkeler when we gave
the ad for Islam

00:34:45 --> 00:34:47
			and I do not wish

00:34:49 --> 00:34:50
			that that

00:34:52 --> 00:34:54
			events that a witness

00:34:55 --> 00:34:57
			is exchanged

00:34:59 --> 00:34:59
			for me

00:35:00 --> 00:35:00
			Go for

00:35:02 --> 00:35:03
			it even better

00:35:04 --> 00:35:05
			than

00:35:06 --> 00:35:10
			he says, Even though Bender is mentioned among people more than

00:35:12 --> 00:35:14
			more than Alaska.

00:35:16 --> 00:35:18
			Now, can they be married probably a lot right

00:35:19 --> 00:35:24
			now did not participate in the Battle of inventing the Federal Defender he didn't.

00:35:25 --> 00:35:31
			He says, I had the privilege of being there on the Native America.

00:35:32 --> 00:35:37
			For me, that is more special.

00:35:39 --> 00:35:41
			That is far more special than that.

00:35:43 --> 00:35:43
			Even

00:35:44 --> 00:35:46
			commenting on the statement, he says,

00:35:47 --> 00:35:58
			That was because those who participated in better, although they have a higher status, we all know
that, when it comes to the Sahaba of the Allahu Anhu.

00:35:59 --> 00:36:03
			If we were to divide them into groups, the top

00:36:04 --> 00:36:08
			for those who participated in the battle that they know that they're known as whether you

00:36:10 --> 00:36:24
			even had yourself, although they have a higher status, because it was the first battle that the
victory to Islam, however, the pledge of an uncle was the cause for the spread of Islam. And from
it, the Battle of Burger King.

00:36:25 --> 00:36:29
			So all of this shows us the significance

00:36:30 --> 00:36:34
			of the second version, the second version,

00:36:35 --> 00:36:38
			it was a very, very important and turning point.

00:36:39 --> 00:36:43
			In the spirit of the Prophet sallallahu. The second lesson that we learned

00:36:46 --> 00:36:51
			the real root of Eman in the heart, it comes out it turns.

00:36:53 --> 00:36:59
			Here we have a people who are ready to sacrifice everything that they have,

00:37:00 --> 00:37:06
			and take on the whole world. Well, they knew the consequences of entering into this position

00:37:07 --> 00:37:08
			that

00:37:10 --> 00:37:17
			you know, down the line, it's not just Krishna are going to come after them. All the artists. That's
exactly what ended up happening.

00:37:19 --> 00:37:21
			As we know, that a Virgil,

00:37:22 --> 00:37:24
			finally, in the battle.

00:37:29 --> 00:37:34
			However, even though the stakes were high, and the risk was real,

00:37:37 --> 00:37:40
			they were willing to sacrifice but for what

00:37:42 --> 00:37:44
			not for some worldly prize or gain.

00:37:46 --> 00:37:47
			In fact,

00:37:48 --> 00:37:57
			they had already fought wars, for worldly reasons. For territory for power for leadership.

00:37:58 --> 00:38:05
			This time, they were willing to make a sacrifice because of nothing but their email

00:38:07 --> 00:38:09
			for nothing but their email.

00:38:11 --> 00:38:13
			Which is why a was a parent award to other priests

00:38:15 --> 00:38:21
			in verses that are going to be recited until the last week, was that a sensible theme song?

00:38:23 --> 00:38:26
			Was Saudi poodle Oh, well, Luna minimum hygena Well, I'm sorry,

00:38:27 --> 00:38:37
			will lead even sell the room? Hopefully Allah Who will do what I did only genetic engineering to JD
polygraphy

00:38:39 --> 00:38:40
			epidemic unfolds.

00:38:43 --> 00:38:43
			Along places that

00:38:45 --> 00:38:50
			the foremost among them will hide your own and the onslaught and those who follow them in good.

00:38:53 --> 00:38:56
			Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with a one

00:38:57 --> 00:38:59
			and Allah has prepared for them Jana,

00:39:00 --> 00:39:01
			which rivers flow

00:39:02 --> 00:39:09
			and Allah subhanahu Attallah says in another place when Lady met her but what would doubt or will
email I mean, the

00:39:10 --> 00:39:20
			company will remember what was down all email recovery, you should do whenever they had your email.
Whenever you did, when a few Sunil had it.

00:39:21 --> 00:39:26
			We'll see we'll see what we can also look at how Allah praises

00:39:28 --> 00:39:30
			in their treatment of the Mahajan.

00:39:31 --> 00:39:35
			And there are hospitals, hospitals, hospital

00:39:36 --> 00:39:39
			nature that they showed and this will we'll come to later on.

00:39:41 --> 00:39:42
			So the point is

00:39:45 --> 00:39:52
			that they showed their email. Email is not just something in the heart, but it has to be shown it
comes out

00:39:53 --> 00:39:56
			and it becomes known in a person's character

00:39:58 --> 00:39:59
			everything

00:40:00 --> 00:40:00
			that a person gets

00:40:02 --> 00:40:03
			the third lesson that we learned

00:40:05 --> 00:40:09
			when it was sort of one he sort of loved when he was sitting and put forward his terms of agreement.

00:40:12 --> 00:40:12
			And also

00:40:16 --> 00:40:18
			what will we get in return?

00:40:20 --> 00:40:22
			For solo one solo Walker, I also told them

00:40:25 --> 00:40:30
			and so the lesson that we learned from this is that in our Islamic work

00:40:32 --> 00:40:37
			we shouldn't be working for the sake of a wall and his reward and no other reason.

00:40:39 --> 00:40:41
			That should be our objective.

00:40:42 --> 00:40:44
			We don't get into such work

00:40:45 --> 00:40:47
			for some worldly reason,

00:40:48 --> 00:40:51
			for fee for status to make money, you know.

00:40:54 --> 00:40:57
			We should revive our intentions in our hearts

00:40:58 --> 00:40:59
			every time

00:41:00 --> 00:41:01
			and make sure

00:41:02 --> 00:41:08
			that we're doing everything for the sake of Allah subhanho wa taala. And so this Deen requires
sacrifice.

00:41:10 --> 00:41:17
			And if you're waiting for something in return in this dunya then you may get it or you may not get
it.

00:41:19 --> 00:41:21
			Right, can you redo some other duniya

00:41:23 --> 00:41:24
			the logic

00:41:26 --> 00:41:37
			whoever is looking for the reward of the dunya Allah says whoever is looking for the rewarding is in
the hands of Allah is the reward both of the dunya

00:41:40 --> 00:41:43
			so work for the sake of Allah

00:41:45 --> 00:42:00
			and if you do that, then Allah reward reward you either in the dunya or now, but if you work for the
dunya then you may get it and or you may not that's where the extra that you will get. Because your
intention was not for that

00:42:01 --> 00:42:13
			your intention was not solely for ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada right. So this Deen requires us to put
everything into it. Because in exchange, you are getting genuine

00:42:19 --> 00:42:22
			and if you want to compare the reward of Allah to the reward in this video,

00:42:24 --> 00:42:30
			then just look at the statement of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Allah in the cilantro.
Well, you heard

00:42:32 --> 00:42:37
			that word Allah is offering to you is extremely expensive, valuable

00:42:39 --> 00:42:40
			and invasive and large.

00:42:43 --> 00:42:45
			What was offering to you is nothing of that nature.

00:42:46 --> 00:42:48
			So we need to pay the price.

00:42:49 --> 00:42:51
			The fourth lesson that we learned

00:42:52 --> 00:42:56
			caregiving medic, probably alumni he states,

00:42:57 --> 00:42:59
			that when we left at Medina,

00:43:01 --> 00:43:03
			when he was narrating the story of this

00:43:04 --> 00:43:06
			Alaska accent here.

00:43:07 --> 00:43:16
			He said in the beginning of it, he said when we left for lecture on the height when he left Medina,
we had already learned our prayer

00:43:18 --> 00:43:19
			and understood everything

00:43:20 --> 00:43:23
			he said cut for Lena was one time

00:43:29 --> 00:43:34
			this happened before sort of London so the lovely Hollywood seller meet here July to enmity.

00:43:36 --> 00:43:38
			So for those who are delaying

00:43:40 --> 00:43:44
			their study of Islam, they're learning

00:43:45 --> 00:43:46
			until somehow they can

00:43:47 --> 00:43:54
			have the opportunity to travel overseas and study with the scholars or get admission in an Islamic
University.

00:43:55 --> 00:43:57
			You're just making excuses for yourself.

00:43:59 --> 00:44:00
			You need to start now.

00:44:03 --> 00:44:05
			The unsought of Medina they never said.

00:44:08 --> 00:44:14
			You know, we'll start studying when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam joins us. We'll learn
directly from him.

00:44:17 --> 00:44:26
			The Prophet sallallahu annual sent sent his Ambassador sent his teacher and that was most
particularly the teacher that would teach the Assad

00:44:28 --> 00:44:43
			and he taught them they will come to him and he was their scholar. They will learn from him. So
capital B alone, he says we had already started praying we had to learn how to pray and we had
already been in a filthy already.

00:44:45 --> 00:44:53
			And so make the most of your situation. If you don't have scholars around you, look for someone to
teach you.

00:44:54 --> 00:44:59
			If you don't have that, study, online through books, etc. The point is

00:45:00 --> 00:45:04
			Don't delay. Don't make excuses. Because

00:45:06 --> 00:45:10
			if you leave it for a day, in the future, it may never come.

00:45:11 --> 00:45:12
			The next lesson that we learned

00:45:15 --> 00:45:20
			is that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was very clear in what he was asking the

00:45:22 --> 00:45:22
			court.

00:45:26 --> 00:45:30
			This time, the terms of the pledge were different than the last time.

00:45:33 --> 00:45:35
			Previously, as we mentioned,

00:45:36 --> 00:45:38
			the terms of the agreement word

00:45:40 --> 00:45:42
			related to the foundations of Islam,

00:45:43 --> 00:45:45
			worship Allah alone, do not commit ship,

00:45:47 --> 00:45:54
			do not commit Zina do not kill your children, etc. And that's why that wedge, as mentioned last
week,

00:45:56 --> 00:45:59
			was coined, as the attorney said,

00:46:00 --> 00:46:02
			the plight of women because later on,

00:46:04 --> 00:46:09
			it was these terms, that the Prophet salallahu Salam would take VR from women.

00:46:11 --> 00:46:13
			As Allah mentions in at the end of

00:46:16 --> 00:46:17
			this time,

00:46:20 --> 00:46:23
			the terms of the agreement were different. And that's why

00:46:24 --> 00:46:28
			this pledge was coined as a way I could help.

00:46:31 --> 00:46:32
			The pledge of war.

00:46:34 --> 00:46:44
			And so, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam immediate, extremely clear, to the Asan that what
you are getting into is going to be a struggle.

00:46:47 --> 00:46:48
			It's going to be risky.

00:46:50 --> 00:46:55
			So he did not mince his words, he was upfront with them, he was clear with them.

00:46:58 --> 00:47:01
			And he didn't promise them wealth or power in return.

00:47:02 --> 00:47:04
			He told them, Look, I need your protection,

00:47:06 --> 00:47:08
			which means that they couldn't be attacked.

00:47:10 --> 00:47:11
			So they realize this.

00:47:13 --> 00:47:17
			And so what we learned from this is that we need to prepare ourselves

00:47:19 --> 00:47:22
			as Muslims and we need to realize that

00:47:25 --> 00:47:29
			really reading this deed and remaining steadfast upon this deed

00:47:30 --> 00:47:33
			is not a stroll in the park.

00:47:36 --> 00:47:40
			To establish the deen of Allah is a struggle.

00:47:41 --> 00:47:43
			And it requires a lot of sacrifice.

00:47:45 --> 00:47:47
			And we need to prepare ourselves for that.

00:47:50 --> 00:47:51
			And when we look

00:47:54 --> 00:47:55
			through our Islamic history,

00:47:57 --> 00:47:57
			we find

00:48:00 --> 00:48:02
			that those who upheld this deal

00:48:05 --> 00:48:05
			and

00:48:08 --> 00:48:09
			fought to establish it.

00:48:11 --> 00:48:12
			It is because of them.

00:48:18 --> 00:48:21
			If they had not struggle, if they had not sacrificed,

00:48:23 --> 00:48:26
			if they had said, we're going to take it easy, we're going to sit down,

00:48:27 --> 00:48:31
			we're not going to do anything, we're going to be passive. Because many Muslims aren't really

00:48:33 --> 00:48:35
			we're not going to put in any effort.

00:48:36 --> 00:48:42
			We don't want to sacrifice our time, our energy, our wealth, our lives.

00:48:47 --> 00:48:49
			Then who will pass this Deen on to the next generation?

00:48:52 --> 00:48:53
			Now what's interesting to know

00:48:55 --> 00:49:01
			is that when we go over the biographies of these 70 Plus

00:49:04 --> 00:49:08
			Sahaba of the outside who came and met the Prophet sallallahu it was like

00:49:10 --> 00:49:13
			almost half of them later on,

00:49:15 --> 00:49:20
			participated in all of the battles that the Prophet saw the longer it will settle participated.

00:49:23 --> 00:49:26
			And a third of them were martyred.

00:49:28 --> 00:49:33
			A third of them became Shuhada, either in the life of the prophet Sallallahu, adding some more
arteries.

00:49:36 --> 00:49:37
			And so what this shows us is

00:49:38 --> 00:49:40
			that they come to their work.

00:49:41 --> 00:49:45
			They come to their word and they sacrifice their lives for this.

00:49:49 --> 00:49:53
			The final lesson or the next lesson that we learned

00:49:55 --> 00:49:59
			is that when word spread among the unsolved

00:50:00 --> 00:50:03
			that their meeting had become disclosed to correct

00:50:04 --> 00:50:05
			one of the leaders

00:50:07 --> 00:50:11
			and others even regarding the approach or sort of one, so, the longer it was

00:50:14 --> 00:50:16
			well, the the the attacker will

00:50:18 --> 00:50:28
			be served by the one who has set you with the truth, if you wish, and once they realize that courage
has found out

00:50:30 --> 00:50:40
			there is danger now. He said, if you wish, we will come up with our swords and take on all of the
people of minute tomorrow.

00:50:42 --> 00:50:46
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied, not we

00:50:48 --> 00:50:49
			will do it and

00:50:51 --> 00:51:31
			he said, we have not been ordered to do this, rather, return back to your tennis. So what we learned
from this is that how we defend Islam, and how we deal with the enemies of Islam is not left open to
our emotions or our opinions. But rather, it must be guided by the Shinya of a once upon a time. We
also learned from his how prepared the unsalted work to stand up for a suit of what he said a lot
radio said. It wasn't something that, you know, when we go back to Medina, we'll be ready no. Great.
Now right away they were written.

00:51:33 --> 00:51:41
			Also we see the wisdom of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and how he dealt with a very tense
situation, and how he diffused it.

00:51:43 --> 00:51:45
			Finally, the last lesson that we learned

00:51:48 --> 00:51:57
			immediately after this second budge Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam divided the unsought into
12 groups.

00:51:59 --> 00:52:04
			And he appointed 12 leaders for each group.

00:52:05 --> 00:52:09
			Nine of them were from 103 were from

00:52:11 --> 00:52:17
			now the majority of this group of 70 plus were from a hodgepodge. So it makes sense

00:52:18 --> 00:52:25
			to me, most of them to be the leaders from a husband, so nine of them were from Karachi. And three
of them were

00:52:29 --> 00:52:36
			the reason that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did this was because the number is four,
then

00:52:38 --> 00:52:43
			you have 70 plus Muslims. And now they're gonna go back to and maybe

00:52:44 --> 00:52:56
			add to that the Muslims who stayed behind him in Medina, and couldn't make it to meet the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So what what I saw Allah is sort of one radio set of wanting them to
proceed in an organized way,

00:52:58 --> 00:52:59
			with an organized structure,

00:53:00 --> 00:53:05
			where he will only give instructions to 12 people, and then they will report back to him.

00:53:06 --> 00:53:15
			And so this teaches us that we also need to be organized in how we work for this view. And we cannot
allow it to be random.

00:53:16 --> 00:53:17
			And so

00:53:18 --> 00:53:23
			what's also important to note here is that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:53:24 --> 00:53:27
			allows the unsought to choose their own years.

00:53:28 --> 00:53:33
			And so, he knew that, you know, these people they know themselves.

00:53:36 --> 00:53:36
			Also,

00:53:37 --> 00:53:39
			he was showing them that he trusted

00:53:41 --> 00:53:48
			by allowing them to choose their own leaders, he was showing him that look, I trusted and he was
indicating that

00:53:49 --> 00:53:54
			I'm not trying to take over. And I'm not going to bring my own people,

00:53:55 --> 00:54:00
			you know, the Sahaba, who were close to him the likes of Abu Bakr and remember,

00:54:02 --> 00:54:07
			he was showing them I'm not good, take them and send them back with you to your leaders know,

00:54:08 --> 00:54:10
			you have your own leaders.

00:54:11 --> 00:54:16
			So, these are the 12 nokhada that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam,

00:54:17 --> 00:54:18
			completed

00:54:19 --> 00:54:23
			overly unsought to go back to me.

00:54:24 --> 00:54:26
			So after this event,

00:54:27 --> 00:54:29
			we have the famous

00:54:31 --> 00:54:39
			event in the spirit of the prophets are the ones who will send them and that is the hatred of
Medina. So we will cover that next week.

00:54:41 --> 00:54:43
			Until then, Subhanak a lot more we

00:54:46 --> 00:54:49
			still feel like a solid loving last Sunday not everything.

00:54:51 --> 00:54:55
			Originally was sent out well it morphed into loving
