			Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen

00:00:07 --> 00:00:12
			wa salatu salam al atta Mani acmella Ania ala Haile Holika Allah He Ultramarine

00:00:14 --> 00:00:21
			Well, hello early he was so happy woman their behavior was tending to be Suniti he Eli Yomi Dean

00:00:22 --> 00:00:27
			Allahu alumna when threatener Dina Turner was eating

00:00:28 --> 00:00:46
			what do you know and help to help on what is looking at TBI? What Elina lb alquila Belle Breeden,
what is OpenEdge Tina, would you are you not many SME coder, tell the owner, meanwhile that as
Salaam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

00:00:50 --> 00:00:55
			Last week we spoke about the embargo,

00:00:57 --> 00:01:01
			the economic sanctions that Quraysh had placed upon

00:01:03 --> 00:01:13
			the Muslims and in particular, the new Hashem and then al McCollum, and the different difficult
circumstances,

00:01:14 --> 00:01:21
			the tough times that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Muslims had to go through
during those years.

00:01:23 --> 00:01:27
			We also spoke about how that siege was lifted,

00:01:28 --> 00:01:31
			and how that embargo came to an end.

00:01:33 --> 00:01:36
			So it came to an end in the 10th, year of the prophethood

00:01:38 --> 00:01:39
			in the 10th, year of the prophethood.

00:01:42 --> 00:01:46
			Although its end came as a relief,

00:01:49 --> 00:01:54
			it was followed by several difficult

00:01:55 --> 00:02:00
			and painful events in the life of the prophet Sallallahu, alayhi wasallam.

00:02:02 --> 00:02:07
			All of which occurred consecutively, one after the other.

00:02:10 --> 00:02:15
			And so for this reason, this year, the 10th year of the prophet hood,

00:02:16 --> 00:02:25
			is known as I am, or the year of grief, or the year of sorrow.

00:02:28 --> 00:02:32
			And so today we're going to look at these events that took place

00:02:33 --> 00:02:35
			in the life of the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:02:37 --> 00:02:38
			It was

00:02:39 --> 00:02:39
			an important year.

00:02:41 --> 00:02:43
			These events

00:02:44 --> 00:02:46
			were extremely important they were a turning point.

00:02:49 --> 00:02:51
			As we will see in sha Allah, who to Allah.

00:02:52 --> 00:02:53
			So we start with the first event.

00:02:55 --> 00:02:57
			And that was the death of

00:02:58 --> 00:03:02
			the uncle of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Abu Talib.

00:03:03 --> 00:03:06
			And so, only after a few months

00:03:07 --> 00:03:09
			after the end of the embargo.

00:03:11 --> 00:03:17
			The man who had supported or pseudo Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was now on his deathbed

00:03:19 --> 00:03:20
			leaving this world

00:03:21 --> 00:03:22
			Abu Talib

00:03:24 --> 00:03:28
			was dying and Rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came by his side.

00:03:32 --> 00:03:35
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to him my uncle,

00:03:37 --> 00:03:38
			c'est la ilaha illa Allah

00:03:40 --> 00:03:41
			say

00:03:42 --> 00:03:45
			that there is none worthy of worship except Allah

00:03:47 --> 00:03:49
			give me this word.

00:03:50 --> 00:03:53
			So that I could witness for you on the Day of Judgment

00:03:56 --> 00:04:07
			give me something in my hand, so that I could argue on your behalf before Allah subhana wa Tada on
the Day of Judgment, all I want from you is to say this word

00:04:13 --> 00:04:17
			and so who was sitting there on the other side of Bhutan?

00:04:23 --> 00:04:23
			Bucha head

00:04:27 --> 00:04:29
			and so throughout this era,

00:04:31 --> 00:04:38
			you will find this man in front of you causing problems. This is not the first time we have
mentioned Abuja.

00:04:41 --> 00:04:48
			Wherever you go in the spirit of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, you will find Abuja *

00:04:49 --> 00:04:51
			you know, been there confronting him.

00:04:52 --> 00:04:59
			And so he was relentless in his efforts to fight Rasulullah sallallahu it was a man he didn't give
up.

00:05:00 --> 00:05:02
			until the last until the last moment

00:05:04 --> 00:05:15
			so Abuja *, along with another man, Abdullah ibn Abi omega. We're sitting on the other side. When
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that to his uncle

00:05:16 --> 00:05:19
			Bucha had interjected and said, Oh Abu Talia.

00:05:21 --> 00:05:26
			Are you going to die on a religion other than the religion of Abdulmutallab?

00:05:27 --> 00:05:27
			Your father?

00:05:29 --> 00:05:33
			Are you going to denounce the religion of your father?

00:05:36 --> 00:05:41
			So Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam repeated it. My Uncle Si la ilaha illallah

00:05:43 --> 00:05:45
			wa jal continued to interrupt.

00:05:46 --> 00:05:47
			And that went on

00:05:48 --> 00:05:52
			until Abu Talib said his last words.

00:05:53 --> 00:05:58
			And so what were his last words? He said I am dying upon the religion of my father Adam.

00:06:02 --> 00:06:06
			Now in an Orisha in Sahih Muslim

00:06:08 --> 00:06:16
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was saying to his uncle, say like, you know, Lula, and his
uncle responded by saying,

00:06:17 --> 00:06:19
			if it were not for courage,

00:06:21 --> 00:06:31
			if it were not for Qureshi who would insult me and say that it was the pains of death that made me
say it, I would have set it to please you.

00:06:33 --> 00:06:37
			And so I will tell him you very well, that

00:06:39 --> 00:06:48
			to say La ilaha illa, Allah would please Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he knew how much
it would hurt him to know that his uncle died following

00:06:50 --> 00:06:51
			another religion.

00:06:52 --> 00:06:58
			And so Abu Talib was even sympathetic to the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam, even on his deathbed.

00:06:59 --> 00:06:59
			You know,

00:07:01 --> 00:07:19
			from the beginning, I would thought it was supportive that of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
and sympathetic to him and to his Dawa. Even till the last moment, he said to the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam that if it were not for my people, you know, they would have

00:07:20 --> 00:07:24
			criticized me, they would have insulted me. I would have said I would have said it to please you.

00:07:28 --> 00:07:28
			And so

00:07:30 --> 00:07:31
			it was a matter of honor.

00:07:32 --> 00:07:38
			It was a matter of dignity for Abu Talib, not to say it.

00:07:41 --> 00:07:46
			And that was when Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:07:47 --> 00:07:50
			in Nicola demon that

00:07:52 --> 00:07:55
			you owe Mohammed do not guide whom you love.

00:07:56 --> 00:08:03
			Well, I can No lie idemia Shun. But rather it is Allah who guides whom heroes?

00:08:05 --> 00:08:08
			Yes, you really want your uncle

00:08:09 --> 00:08:11
			to be guided to accept Islam.

00:08:12 --> 00:08:18
			You love him dearly, and you want good for him. But Allah has willed for other than that to happen.

00:08:20 --> 00:08:23
			It's all guidance is in the hands of Allah subhanahu wa ala.

00:08:26 --> 00:08:31
			And without Abu Talib, he breathed his last and he left this world

00:08:33 --> 00:08:35
			the second event

00:08:36 --> 00:08:37
			to occur

00:08:40 --> 00:08:47
			in this year, and this was soon after the death of Abu Talib was the death of someone else.

00:08:48 --> 00:08:49
			And that was who

00:08:53 --> 00:08:57
			the death of the Prophets wife Khadija, Robbie Allahu Anhu.

00:08:59 --> 00:09:05
			And so now rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is dealing with this tragic event in his
life.

00:09:07 --> 00:09:08
			The death of Abu Talib

00:09:10 --> 00:09:11
			A short while later

00:09:12 --> 00:09:20
			it's mentioned two months or other narrations mentioned in less than that. Khadija Radi Allahu
behind her she passes away.

00:09:22 --> 00:09:23
			And so

00:09:25 --> 00:09:36
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is still dealing with the death of his uncle. And here now
his wife, his wife passes away the person who was the dearest to him.

00:09:37 --> 00:09:43
			So we can see now why. This year, the 10th year of the prophet hood is referred to as

00:09:44 --> 00:09:45
			the year of grief.

00:09:47 --> 00:09:51
			And so it was the most tragic time when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam because

00:09:53 --> 00:09:58
			two of the most influential people in his life who helped him with his Dawa.

00:09:59 --> 00:09:59
			You know,

00:10:00 --> 00:10:04
			Abu Talib who supported the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam physically

00:10:06 --> 00:10:22
			protecting him against corruption. And Khadija are the Allahu anha, who supported the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam with psychological support. In addition to her financial support,
remember she was a businesswoman.

00:10:24 --> 00:10:26
			And so suddenly these two pillars

00:10:29 --> 00:10:37
			that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was standing on, in terms of him preaching the message
of Islam, they collapsed.

00:10:41 --> 00:10:42
			And we should note here that

00:10:44 --> 00:10:58
			this year is not called the year of grief, or the year of sorrow or the year of sadness, simply
because Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam lost to people who were dear to him.

00:11:01 --> 00:11:08
			Like any one of us, if we were to lose someone, dear to us,

00:11:10 --> 00:11:11
			it hurts us personally.

00:11:15 --> 00:11:31
			But with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it was different. It wasn't that this year was a
year of grief because he lost people who are dear to him personally. But more important than that,
it was a setback to the Dawa.

00:11:33 --> 00:11:35
			It was a setback to the Dawa.

00:11:38 --> 00:11:40
			And so now without Abu Talib,

00:11:41 --> 00:11:45
			protecting the Prophet sallallahu and he was without Hadith or the Allahu anha

00:11:48 --> 00:11:50
			consoling the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:11:52 --> 00:11:56
			you know, advising him and being there for him

00:11:58 --> 00:12:01
			in the face of the opposition that he would receive from his people.

00:12:02 --> 00:12:08
			It was a setback to the mission, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was on.

00:12:10 --> 00:12:14
			Now, shortly after the death of Khadija are the Allahu anha.

00:12:16 --> 00:12:18
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:12:19 --> 00:12:21
			married his second wife.

00:12:24 --> 00:12:34
			And that was soda didn't Zima are the Allahu anha. And so she was one of the early Muslims who had
migrated to Abyssinia

00:12:36 --> 00:12:37
			and so she migrated here with her husband.

00:12:39 --> 00:12:40
			And

00:12:41 --> 00:12:46
			it so happened that either while they were there or as soon as they returned to Mecca,

00:12:48 --> 00:12:51
			he had passed away. Her husband had passed away.

00:12:52 --> 00:12:56
			And so the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam married her after that.

00:12:58 --> 00:12:59
			Now we'll talk more about

00:13:01 --> 00:13:05
			it the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and

00:13:06 --> 00:13:22
			his marriages. And why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam married multiple wives. We'll talk
about that later on. When we get to the medina state of the devil where the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam married many, many more wives

00:13:28 --> 00:13:29
			and so we move on to

00:13:33 --> 00:13:38
			the lessons that we learned from these two tragic events in the life of the prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam.

00:13:47 --> 00:13:49
			The first lesson that we learned is

00:13:51 --> 00:13:52
			in the case of otology

00:13:54 --> 00:14:04
			the reasons why people they disbelieve are many. The reasons for Kufa are many people disbelieve

00:14:05 --> 00:14:15
			for different reasons. But one of the most common reasons is that people do not want to give up the
ways and customs of their people.

00:14:19 --> 00:14:24
			They were brought up a certain way, with certain habits with certain customs of their people.

00:14:25 --> 00:14:30
			And a religion that they had adhere to throughout their lives.

00:14:33 --> 00:14:34
			And they don't want to give it up.

00:14:36 --> 00:14:40
			And so nothing stopped Abu Talib from believing except this reason.

00:14:42 --> 00:14:53
			He just could not let go of tribal pride and being criticized by his people for abandoning their
religion. That's all he feared.

00:14:54 --> 00:14:59
			And he told the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam that he said if it was not for my people,

00:15:00 --> 00:15:05
			that they would criticize me they would insult me. If I said La ilaha illallah I would have done it.

00:15:08 --> 00:15:10
			And so Abu Talib is not alone.

00:15:11 --> 00:15:13
			Many people even today

00:15:15 --> 00:15:18
			the reason for their Cofer is this stubbornness.

00:15:20 --> 00:15:23
			Even after recognizing the truth of Islam,

00:15:25 --> 00:15:34
			they do not accept why because they don't want to let go of their lifestyle, their way of life, the
religion of their people,

00:15:36 --> 00:15:39
			the ideologies of their people, they don't want to let it go.

00:15:41 --> 00:15:49
			And they don't want to be criticized by their people, for letting go of their way of life.

00:15:54 --> 00:15:55
			The second lesson that we learn

00:15:57 --> 00:16:00
			is the consequences

00:16:01 --> 00:16:03
			of bad companions.

00:16:04 --> 00:16:08
			Here we had two leading figures of Quraysh,

00:16:09 --> 00:16:11
			who came to see Abu Talib

00:16:13 --> 00:16:13
			at his deathbed.

00:16:16 --> 00:16:21
			And they wouldn't have come to Him unless they were close to him.

00:16:23 --> 00:16:33
			And so their influence on him in the last moments shows us how dangerous it is to befriend evil
people.

00:16:34 --> 00:16:37
			And so one of the greatest lessons that we learned from this is

00:16:40 --> 00:16:44
			being careful of who we choose to be our friends.

00:16:45 --> 00:16:48
			And so, if this was the case, when a Bhutan trip

00:16:49 --> 00:16:55
			there, that these were his companions, even though Bhutan it was known to be an intelligent person.

00:16:57 --> 00:17:01
			And even though he supported the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam the way he did

00:17:04 --> 00:17:06
			if that is a Bhutan,

00:17:07 --> 00:17:16
			then how about the rest of us, if he could easily you know have been influenced by his people and
you know his companions

00:17:18 --> 00:17:22
			that how well the rest of us and so this is one of the greatest lessons that we learn

00:17:23 --> 00:17:25
			from this incident.

00:17:27 --> 00:17:29
			The third lesson that we learned is

00:17:31 --> 00:17:39
			that no matter how loving and supporting and caring a cashier is,

00:17:40 --> 00:17:43
			he or she is still a coffee or in the end of the day.

00:17:46 --> 00:17:47
			A car fear is a cafe.

00:17:49 --> 00:17:51
			a mushrik is a machine.

00:17:53 --> 00:17:56
			They are people who are despised by Allah.

00:17:57 --> 00:17:59
			Allah is not pleased with them.

00:18:00 --> 00:18:02
			It's a We should not be pleased with them.

00:18:05 --> 00:18:09
			Abu Talib after he passed away, rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said

00:18:13 --> 00:18:16
			I am going to continue to pray for Allah to forgive you.

00:18:18 --> 00:18:20
			After he passed away, he said this,

00:18:21 --> 00:18:24
			that I'm going to continue to seek forgiveness for you.

00:18:26 --> 00:18:26
			And so

00:18:28 --> 00:18:35
			Allah subhanahu wa taala revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam forbidding him from
doing so.

00:18:38 --> 00:18:47
			Me think about it, it was a very difficult time for the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam. Remember,
Abu Talib was the one who raised

00:18:48 --> 00:18:54
			Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam up from the age of eight. After the death of his grandfather.

00:18:56 --> 00:18:59
			He raised him up, he sponsored him he took care of him.

00:19:00 --> 00:19:12
			And then not only in his childhood, but also after he became an adult. And he became a prophet. He
stood by him, supporting him defending him protecting the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:19:13 --> 00:19:18
			for over 42 years. And so we started at the age of eight.

00:19:19 --> 00:19:28
			And it went on until the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was now 52 years old. So we can say
that Abu Talib

00:19:29 --> 00:19:45
			had given most of his life spent most of his life in the defense of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi
wasallam and so it was a very difficult time for the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam to see his
uncle, his dear uncle to die as a catheter.

00:19:49 --> 00:19:52
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said

00:19:54 --> 00:19:57
			okay, you've died as a coffin, but I'm going to ask Allah to forgive you

00:19:59 --> 00:19:59
			know, perhaps

00:20:00 --> 00:20:01
			Allah will forgive you.

00:20:02 --> 00:20:05
			And then Allah subhana wa Tada revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:20:07 --> 00:20:21

00:20:22 --> 00:20:45
			it is not for the profit and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the machinery cool, even
if they happen to be relatives, after it has become clear to them, that they are the companions of
the Hellfire meaning after it has become clear to you, that they have died upon COFA and they are
headed for the hellfire, you are not allowed to ask Allah to forgive them.

00:20:49 --> 00:20:51
			The fourth lesson that we learn

00:20:53 --> 00:20:57
			is that guidance is not in the hands of anyone except Allah.

00:21:00 --> 00:21:03
			Even the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:21:05 --> 00:21:07
			he didn't have the power to guide.

00:21:10 --> 00:21:12
			His mission was to convey the message

00:21:14 --> 00:21:17
			not to convert forcefully

00:21:20 --> 00:21:22
			converting the heart of a person.

00:21:24 --> 00:21:26
			This is only in the hands of a lot not in the hands of people.

00:21:28 --> 00:21:32
			Yes, we can guide in the sense of showing the way.

00:21:33 --> 00:21:39
			And that's why the relevant, they mentioned that guidance is of two kinds.

00:21:40 --> 00:21:45
			You have guidance of earshot and ban.

00:21:46 --> 00:21:58
			The guidance of showing clarifying the truth, guiding people in that sense of conveying the message,
making it put making it clear to the people.

00:21:59 --> 00:22:02
			And then you have the guidance of Tofik

00:22:03 --> 00:22:06
			which is the guidance of the hearts.

00:22:09 --> 00:22:24
			And so the first kind of guidance, yes, we can do that. And that is what we're required to do. And
that is what the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did in his life. But as for the hearts, this is
not in our hands. And so ultimately,

00:22:25 --> 00:22:32
			it is the people who will have to make their own personal choices. You can do all you can.

00:22:33 --> 00:22:39
			But in the end of the day, the person has to make his own choice.

00:22:41 --> 00:23:00
			The person has to make his own choice. And this is basically the freewill that Allah Subhana Allah
has given to us and that is how we will be held accountable before Allah subhanho wa Taala it is
because of this freedom, this free will that Allah has given to us

00:23:02 --> 00:23:04
			that we will either end up

00:23:05 --> 00:23:08
			in Jannah or in the hellfire.

00:23:10 --> 00:23:14
			So Allah subhanahu wa Tada wanted to remind the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:23:15 --> 00:23:16
			about this

00:23:19 --> 00:23:23
			that you really want him I will tell him to accept Islam.

00:23:25 --> 00:23:28
			And you have done everything you can but in the end of the day,

00:23:30 --> 00:23:36
			his guidance rests in the hands of Allah and Allah decided, for whatever reason.

00:23:37 --> 00:23:41
			For whatever reason, Allah decided that he will not be guided.

00:23:44 --> 00:23:48
			And perhaps it was this reason that we mentioned earlier

00:23:50 --> 00:23:51
			the reason for his cover

00:23:52 --> 00:24:00
			and that is, you know, even after the truth became clear to him, and it is obvious.

00:24:01 --> 00:24:04
			It was his stubbornness and not want to give up

00:24:06 --> 00:24:09
			that tribal pride

00:24:10 --> 00:24:13
			and the religion of his people and his forefathers.

00:24:14 --> 00:24:15
			The fifth lesson that we learned

00:24:18 --> 00:24:27
			although we mentioned that a calf here is a catheter, no matter how kind and how just they may be

00:24:30 --> 00:24:40
			and that every calf here is headed for the Hellfire if they die upon kufr although that is true,
Allah subhanahu Attallah is just

00:24:41 --> 00:24:51
			and his justice means that he will not treat everyone in the same way. So even the kuffaar Allah
subhanho wa Taala will not treat them all equally.

00:24:52 --> 00:24:56
			Some will get a worse punishment than others.

00:25:02 --> 00:25:04
			And so some will get the punishment of Abu Lahab

00:25:06 --> 00:25:07
			and Farah home

00:25:08 --> 00:25:15
			and the munafo Kuhn who Allah tells us will be Fidel kill us fairly men are not in the lowest pits
of the Hellfire.

00:25:17 --> 00:25:32
			But others will receive the least amount of suffering in the hellfire. And so as a Muslim the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says, among the people of the Hellfire, Abu Talib will suffer
the least

00:25:33 --> 00:25:42
			out of all of the people of the Hellfire, a Bhutanese will suffer the least he will be he will be
wearing shoes a fire that will boil his brain

00:25:47 --> 00:25:48
			and so

00:25:52 --> 00:25:53
			this is the least

00:25:54 --> 00:26:07
			the least amount of suffering of the people of the Hellfire. So you can imagine what would be worse
than that. But the point here is that Allah subhanahu taharah is just

00:26:10 --> 00:26:18
			and so because of how much Abu Talib supported the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Allah
subhanahu Bucha took that into consideration.

00:26:19 --> 00:26:26
			And so he will not punish him like he will punish the others. Finally, the last lesson that we
learned here

00:26:27 --> 00:26:30
			Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam who had

00:26:31 --> 00:26:33
			freedom of going around

00:26:34 --> 00:26:36
			preaching, the message of Islam

00:26:37 --> 00:26:40
			was now being blocked

00:26:43 --> 00:26:44
			because his uncle passed away.

00:26:46 --> 00:26:51
			And so when Rasool allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam who would usually go home to find

00:26:52 --> 00:26:55
			comfort with his wife,

00:26:56 --> 00:26:58
			he would go home and find the one.

00:27:01 --> 00:27:09
			When he had the protection of his uncle, I will tell him now he is open and exposed to danger.

00:27:11 --> 00:27:17
			And so Quraysh can now easily harm him and plot to kill him.

00:27:21 --> 00:27:24
			And so, some of the scholars mentioned that there is a wisdom

00:27:26 --> 00:27:30
			in this happening to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam at this particular time,

00:27:31 --> 00:27:35
			the tragic deaths of these two individuals, and that is

00:27:37 --> 00:27:47
			to increase the dependence of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and the Muslims to increase
their dependence and their reliance upon Allah subhanahu wa.

00:27:49 --> 00:27:57
			And so, rather than the message being protected by a kafir Abu Talib

00:27:59 --> 00:28:05
			and supported by Khadija Radi Allahu anha. Now there would be more reliance upon Allah.

00:28:06 --> 00:28:12
			Because there was no one else. No one around rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:28:15 --> 00:28:21
			gave as much support to him as these two individuals. So now, now that they're gone,

00:28:22 --> 00:28:23
			the Muslims will now

00:28:24 --> 00:28:29
			have more to what could in Allah Subhana? Who, what?

00:28:30 --> 00:28:41
			And that's why also some scholars mentioned why was it that what is the wisdom behind Allah, Allah
allowing Abu Talib to live on a few more years, until the Hijra.

00:28:43 --> 00:28:48
			And so they mentioned that the wisdom behind that is so that people don't say that look.

00:28:50 --> 00:28:57
			He was able to escape the Prophet SAW Selim was able to escape and Muslims were able to escape all
because of Abu Talib.

00:29:00 --> 00:29:01
			And so the point here is

00:29:02 --> 00:29:04
			the lesson that we learned here is

00:29:06 --> 00:29:08
			that Allah subhanahu Attallah is trying to

00:29:10 --> 00:29:16
			teach the Muslims to put their trust in Allah Alone. And this is something that we will see more

00:29:18 --> 00:29:23
			in the future of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to add Medina.

00:29:25 --> 00:29:27
			We move on now to

00:29:28 --> 00:29:33
			the next event in this year in the 10th year, which was also a very difficult

00:29:35 --> 00:29:38
			moment in the life of the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:29:41 --> 00:29:48
			And that was his journey to a nearby city. His journey to a life

00:29:50 --> 00:29:59
			now that rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam lost the protection of his uncle Abu Talib and
his efforts of Dawa in Mecca

00:30:00 --> 00:30:00
			We'll be in blocked.

00:30:02 --> 00:30:14
			He tried to search for alternatives. Maybe there were others outside of Metka, who would accept his
message, who would support him?

00:30:17 --> 00:30:20
			It's as if he almost gave up on his own people.

00:30:22 --> 00:30:28
			And so this was what led him to make his journey to a five.

00:30:30 --> 00:30:35
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam headed out on this journey with one of his
companions.

00:30:36 --> 00:30:37
			Who was that?

00:30:42 --> 00:30:45
			Yes, they inherited or the Allahu Akbar.

00:30:46 --> 00:30:52
			And so, they went to a bar if a rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:30:53 --> 00:30:55
			went straight to the leaders of the tower.

00:30:58 --> 00:31:07
			And the main tribe in authority for the tribe of a soft leaf. So in Mecca, you had Quraysh. And in
authority if you had the tribal assemblies.

00:31:10 --> 00:31:10
			And

00:31:12 --> 00:31:15
			the main leaders were three brothers, Three brothers,

00:31:16 --> 00:31:26
			who represented this tribe of a Surcouf. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam approached them.
And he presented to them the message. And he asked them for their support and their help.

00:31:29 --> 00:31:34
			What was the response that he got? It was a horrible response.

00:31:35 --> 00:31:38
			And so the first of these brothers, he said,

00:31:40 --> 00:31:42
			If Allah has really set you as a prophet,

00:31:44 --> 00:31:49
			then I'm going to go to Mecca, and I'm going to tear apart the cloth of the cab.

00:31:51 --> 00:31:54
			And so the cloth of the Cabo was sacred to the Arabs.

00:31:56 --> 00:32:00
			And so he was basically saying, because there was this rivalry between

00:32:01 --> 00:32:03
			the thief and kurush.

00:32:04 --> 00:32:15
			And so he was saying that if you happen to be the prophet, and you're from Quraysh, then I'm going
to go and tear down the cab, the cloth of the cab.

00:32:16 --> 00:32:17
			The second

00:32:18 --> 00:32:20
			among them, he said,

00:32:22 --> 00:32:27
			Did Allah not find anyone better to send in you?

00:32:28 --> 00:32:38
			I mean, out of all the people that Allah could have sent he sent you. So again, insulting the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and degrading him.

00:32:39 --> 00:32:41
			The third one, he said,

00:32:42 --> 00:32:43
			I can't speak to you.

00:32:44 --> 00:32:51
			I simply cannot speak to you. Because if you are a messenger of Allah as you claim,

00:32:52 --> 00:32:57
			then you are such an important person, and I am not qualified to speak to.

00:32:59 --> 00:33:00
			But if

00:33:01 --> 00:33:10
			you are a liar, and Allah has not sent you as a messenger and you are lying, then it's not
appropriate for me to speak with a liar.

00:33:15 --> 00:33:19
			So this was the response that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam guidance

00:33:20 --> 00:33:22
			after leaving Mecca, full of hope.

00:33:24 --> 00:33:30
			And so, when rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam heard their response, he said to them look

00:33:33 --> 00:33:37
			fine, you don't want to accept Islam. At least

00:33:38 --> 00:33:41
			keep this conversation of ours a secret

00:33:43 --> 00:33:48
			Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not want us to reach Mecca,

00:33:49 --> 00:33:55
			that he had left Mecca, because he left Mecca without telling anyone.

00:33:57 --> 00:34:12
			And so he didn't want us to reach Quraysh that he had been turned down by the people of belief,
because it would only add to the persecution of Quraysh. But these men, they were so evil.

00:34:13 --> 00:34:14
			And they were so rude.

00:34:15 --> 00:34:17
			They summoned

00:34:18 --> 00:34:23
			the fools and the and the slaves of the city.

00:34:25 --> 00:34:33
			And they told them go and revile the Prophet, sallAllahu alayhi wasallam go and chase him down and
curse him

00:34:34 --> 00:34:36
			and insult him.

00:34:38 --> 00:34:42
			So that's exactly what they did. So imagine this mod.

00:34:46 --> 00:34:54
			pelting the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and XID had been herded with stones, and screaming
and yelling at them, and chasing them away.

00:34:56 --> 00:34:59
			And so Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and Zaid inheritor.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:02
			had to run out of top five.

00:35:03 --> 00:35:18
			And so Zaid inheritor he was protecting the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and shielding him
with his own body, doing everything he could to somehow protect the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam from any injury.

00:35:19 --> 00:35:21
			And so they ran out of time if

00:35:22 --> 00:35:26
			and they took shelter in a nearby garden

00:35:27 --> 00:35:32
			or a nearby farm. And this farm happened to belong to

00:35:34 --> 00:35:35
			two men of Quraysh.

00:35:37 --> 00:35:39
			The two sons of Arabia.

00:35:40 --> 00:35:43
			So rasool Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was exhausted,

00:35:44 --> 00:35:52
			and his feet were bleeding, and he was hurt because of how he was treated by the people of Bife.

00:35:55 --> 00:36:00
			And so Allah subhanho wa Taala sent his help for Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:36:01 --> 00:36:11
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salam, and they were very hungry. They were exhausted, they were
tired, they were hungry. And so the two owners of the farm,

00:36:13 --> 00:36:15
			who happened to be from Quraysh.

00:36:17 --> 00:36:22
			They had some sympathy for the Prophet salallahu Salam, they saw what had happened.

00:36:23 --> 00:36:25
			And so they sent their servant

00:36:27 --> 00:36:29
			and said, Go and give him some grapes.

00:36:33 --> 00:36:35
			And so their servant

00:36:36 --> 00:36:37
			happened to be a Christian.

00:36:39 --> 00:36:42
			And his name was I Deus.

00:36:44 --> 00:36:49
			So he went with some grapes and gave it to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:36:53 --> 00:36:59
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam received these grapes, and before eating them, he said,
Bismillah

00:37:01 --> 00:37:05
			now the servant who was a Christian,

00:37:06 --> 00:37:08
			he was surprised.

00:37:09 --> 00:37:15
			And so, he said to the Prophet, sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam. These words

00:37:16 --> 00:37:18
			are not said by people in this lab.

00:37:21 --> 00:37:22
			Meaning the Arabs

00:37:24 --> 00:37:25
			they don't see such words.

00:37:27 --> 00:37:29
			We Christians we do.

00:37:30 --> 00:37:31
			We start

00:37:32 --> 00:37:33
			in the name of God.

00:37:35 --> 00:37:42
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam realized that this man was not from hear

00:37:44 --> 00:37:45
			that he was a foreigner

00:37:46 --> 00:37:52
			and that he follows a different religion. So he asked, I does he asked him, Where are you from?

00:37:54 --> 00:37:55
			And what is your religion?

00:37:57 --> 00:38:00
			So I guess he said, I am a Christian.

00:38:01 --> 00:38:03
			And I am from

00:38:04 --> 00:38:05
			Navy,

00:38:06 --> 00:38:07
			which is

00:38:08 --> 00:38:10
			a city in northern Iraq.

00:38:15 --> 00:38:20
			And so rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, so you are from the village

00:38:21 --> 00:38:23
			of the pious servant of Allah.

00:38:25 --> 00:38:26
			Yunus Ibn Mehta

00:38:30 --> 00:38:31
			the Prophet of Allah.

00:38:33 --> 00:38:37
			And so Eunice Hadi Salam came from that same from that same city.

00:38:38 --> 00:38:39
			So I Das, he said,

00:38:41 --> 00:38:44
			shocked, he said, and you know, you received the letter.

00:38:46 --> 00:38:49
			So Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said yes,

00:38:51 --> 00:38:52
			he is my brother.

00:38:54 --> 00:38:57
			He was a prophet. And I too, am a prophet.

00:39:00 --> 00:39:17
			And so when I Deus heard this from the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam, he immediately fell to
the ground. And he started kissing the feet of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and then he
kissed his hands and his head. And he embraced Islam at the hands of the prophets, Allah Allahu
Allah yourself.

00:39:18 --> 00:39:21
			Now, the two owners of the firm

00:39:23 --> 00:39:25
			they saw what was happening and

00:39:26 --> 00:39:27
			they said to each other look,

00:39:29 --> 00:39:31
			he has already brainwashed our sleeve.

00:39:34 --> 00:39:37
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:39:38 --> 00:39:40
			would never waste any opportunity to give Dawa.

00:39:42 --> 00:39:47
			And so look at how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave him down on the spot.

00:39:49 --> 00:39:55
			In these two men, who initially felt sympathy for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam they were
from Kadesh.

00:39:57 --> 00:39:59
			And so they said we are not in meta

00:40:01 --> 00:40:04
			We're, we're outside of Mecca in this foreign land.

00:40:07 --> 00:40:09
			And we should support one another were from the same tribe.

00:40:11 --> 00:40:13
			So initially, that's why they

00:40:14 --> 00:40:22
			sent for food for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. But now, they started to regret what they
did.

00:40:23 --> 00:40:34
			And so when I dust came back to them, they said to him, What's wrong with you? Why were you kissing
his feet, and his hands and his head? And so he said, I just said to them

00:40:36 --> 00:40:38
			in the entire world, there is no man

00:40:40 --> 00:40:41
			better than him.

00:40:43 --> 00:40:47
			He told me something that only a prophet of Allah can know.

00:40:50 --> 00:40:54
			And so when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told them about us, Allah has Salam.

00:40:56 --> 00:40:59
			He realized that, you know, such information

00:41:01 --> 00:41:18
			could only be known by a prophet, especially when he is claiming to be a prophet of Allah subhanho
wa taala. So these two men sector a Das, they said to him, do not let this man to make you leave
your religion. Your religion is better than his.

00:41:20 --> 00:41:22
			Your Christianity is better than what he has.

00:41:25 --> 00:41:34
			Now, these two men were the Christians. No, they were mostly coming from Quran. What do they know
about Christianity? Nothing.

00:41:37 --> 00:41:48
			But it was the Cooper in their hearts and this enmity for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
that made them say whatever would make the people

00:41:49 --> 00:41:51
			to be distanced

00:41:52 --> 00:41:53
			from

00:41:54 --> 00:41:54
			Islam

00:42:00 --> 00:42:08
			now rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam left by if and he was rejected.

00:42:10 --> 00:42:10
			But guess what?

00:42:12 --> 00:42:15
			It is a promise of Allah subhanahu wa Tada

00:42:16 --> 00:42:22
			that with every difficulty comes ease

00:42:25 --> 00:42:26
			and relief

00:42:27 --> 00:42:30
			for in nama Hello Sri usara

00:42:31 --> 00:42:33
			in nama Hello Sri use rock

00:42:34 --> 00:42:37
			with every difficulty comes in.

00:42:39 --> 00:42:47
			Indeed with every difficulty comes ease. And so Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had

00:42:48 --> 00:42:50
			a very hard time in life.

00:42:52 --> 00:42:55
			Allah subhanho wa Taala followed it up with a blessing.

00:42:56 --> 00:43:02
			And so on the way back to Mecca, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam camped out at night.

00:43:04 --> 00:43:07
			And he was praying to Yama lake.

00:43:10 --> 00:43:12
			And he was reciting the Quran.

00:43:15 --> 00:43:18
			So, it so happened that

00:43:19 --> 00:43:21
			there were some Jin

00:43:23 --> 00:43:31
			who happen to be in the area. And they were attracted by these words and this recitation of the
Quran. So they came

00:43:32 --> 00:43:35
			and started listening to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:43:37 --> 00:43:41
			And they were so affected by these words,

00:43:42 --> 00:43:44
			that they accepted Islam.

00:43:45 --> 00:43:47
			And then they went back to their people

00:43:48 --> 00:43:49
			preaching the message of Islam.

00:43:51 --> 00:43:53
			And so this is the story of

00:43:54 --> 00:43:56
			the Islam of the jinn

00:43:58 --> 00:44:04
			that there were a group of the jinn who came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and they
accepted Islam.

00:44:06 --> 00:44:08
			Now, the jinn are

00:44:09 --> 00:44:12
			a world of creatures that have intelligence.

00:44:14 --> 00:44:16
			They live here on earth with us.

00:44:18 --> 00:44:21
			They have a life structure just like us.

00:44:23 --> 00:44:24
			They have children.

00:44:26 --> 00:44:27
			They have families,

00:44:28 --> 00:44:30
			they live their lives.

00:44:33 --> 00:44:42
			They have clans they have nations, they speak different languages, and they follow different
religions. The only difference is

00:44:45 --> 00:44:46
			their life for

00:44:47 --> 00:44:53
			so Allah subhanho wa Taala created them from fire. And Allah created us from clay

00:44:55 --> 00:44:58
			and they see us but we do not see them.

00:45:00 --> 00:45:02
			So they are invisible from us.

00:45:03 --> 00:45:17
			There can be times when humans happen to cite the jinn. And, you know, it's not far fetched. You
know, these these sightings that people have,

00:45:18 --> 00:45:29
			where they see things in the dark or, you know, they become haunted by certain things that they see
that they call ghosts,

00:45:30 --> 00:45:31
			or

00:45:33 --> 00:45:40
			sightings of UFOs and so on and so forth. It's not far fetched to say that these could be the gym.

00:45:44 --> 00:45:45
			Nonetheless,

00:45:48 --> 00:45:54
			these gym they came to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam and they accepted Islam. Now.

00:45:55 --> 00:45:59
			There may have been more than one incident

00:46:00 --> 00:46:04
			in which Jinn came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and accepted Islam

00:46:09 --> 00:46:10
			and the jinn

00:46:12 --> 00:46:18
			are also commanded to worship Allah and to accept Islam.

00:46:19 --> 00:46:35
			As Allah subhanho wa Taala says, well now halacha to Jin will insert OLALIA Budo I have not created
the jinn, nor mankind except to worship me. And the only way should to worship Allah is through is
through Islam.

00:46:36 --> 00:46:40
			So there is so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent

00:46:42 --> 00:46:46
			to the humans Yes, but also to the gym. He was sent to both

00:46:49 --> 00:46:56
			this story of gem coming to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is mentioned in two places in
the Quran.

00:47:00 --> 00:47:04
			And so it is possible that these were two separate incidents.

00:47:06 --> 00:47:08
			One is in surah to region

00:47:10 --> 00:47:14
			and the other is in surah. Cough at the end of sorcery cough

00:47:15 --> 00:47:32
			and so Allah subhanho wa Taala says in Surah to cough what is sort of economic or mineral gin
yesterday Aruna kura so alumna How about who called who I'm sorry to say alumna Kuba well lo Illa
call me him zerene

00:47:33 --> 00:47:35
			Remember all Prophets

00:47:36 --> 00:47:39
			when a group of the jinn

00:47:40 --> 00:47:43
			we sent them to you to listen to the Quran.

00:47:45 --> 00:47:48
			Then when they heard it, they said to one another, listen quietly.

00:47:49 --> 00:47:55
			Then when it was finished, they returned to their fellow gene as Warner's

00:47:56 --> 00:48:29
			God we are coalminer in semi Anna Kitab and Uzi them in body Musa Musa the Lima Albania de him yet
the evil halfway what era Periclean Mr. Clean, they said, when they went back to their people, they
said, Oh, our fellow Jin, we have truly heard a scripture revealed after Musa confirming what came
before it, it guides to the to the truth and the straightway. Now, why did these genes say we heard
a book revealed after the Torah.

00:48:31 --> 00:48:34
			After Musa why didn't they say, after isa since

00:48:36 --> 00:48:39
			Risa came after Musa Ali Hassan, why didn't they say after the NG

00:48:47 --> 00:48:47
			Jewish

00:48:48 --> 00:49:08
			This is one of the explanations that some of the commentators give that this group of Jews, they
came from a place in Yemen, where they were Jews. And so they were followers of Mousavi Islam or,
you know, they their book was a Torah.

00:49:10 --> 00:49:44
			So, this is what they said. And then they went on to say, Coleman and Ijebu de Ayala he well I mean,
we'll be he'll feel like means, you know, become what you gedcom mean either been Aleem, oh our
fellow Jin respond to the color of Allah and believe in Him He will forgive you your sins and
protect you from painful for punishment. When the language of the day Allah He Felisa be more
disdainful, oh boy, Well, ladies seller who couldn't do any earlier without a few dollars in movie,
and whoever does not respond to the color of Allah will have no escape on earth, nor will they have
any protectors against him. It is they who are clearly astray.

00:49:47 --> 00:49:57
			So this was a story of the jinn, accepting Islam and then going back to their people as callers to
Islam

00:50:00 --> 00:50:10
			So this was an example of something good that happened to Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
after a hardship after his experience with the people of life.

00:50:11 --> 00:50:18
			Now Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has to enter Mecca once again.

00:50:21 --> 00:50:23
			And this was not easy.

00:50:25 --> 00:50:27
			Especially since

00:50:29 --> 00:50:36
			the message had reached Mecca that Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had gone to preach in
October if

00:50:38 --> 00:50:48
			and so rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam now had to seek the protection of someone in
order to enter into His own town.

00:50:50 --> 00:50:51
			Because remember

00:50:52 --> 00:51:02
			that his uncle passed away. Abu Talib, he's the one who used to protect him. No one could lay hands
on the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam because of the protection of Obatala

00:51:04 --> 00:51:10
			so Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam camped outside of Mecca, trying to find some
protection.

00:51:11 --> 00:51:14
			He first sent a message to a man known as

00:51:15 --> 00:51:17
			Agnes Eben Sharif,

00:51:18 --> 00:51:19
			this man

00:51:20 --> 00:51:44
			was living in Mecca, but he was not from Quraysh he was an ally of Kurdish. So, when he received the
message, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is asking for protection, he said, since I am
an ally, I cannot go over my authority and I cannot give protection to someone who is from the
tribe, who I am an ally of.

00:51:46 --> 00:51:53
			So then he he turned down the request and so the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam, he had to look
for someone else.

00:51:55 --> 00:51:57
			So he sent for Sohail in hammer.

00:51:59 --> 00:52:14
			So, Haley been hammer he said, I cannot give you protection, because the clan of Benwell hammer that
I am from, cannot give protection to somebody who is from the new cap and you are from the new cap.

00:52:15 --> 00:52:26
			So he also turned down the request. So then rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam tried a
third time. And this time he sent a request to

00:52:27 --> 00:52:29
			allow more time in handy

00:52:31 --> 00:52:32
			and more time.

00:52:33 --> 00:52:38
			Even ID he was the chief of

00:52:40 --> 00:52:42
			Belluno fell clan, which is from correction.

00:52:44 --> 00:52:47
			And wartime even ID we mentioned him previously.

00:52:49 --> 00:52:53
			Who remembers this name, a wartime Ibn ID.

00:52:55 --> 00:52:59
			He's a carrier, but he was one of the influential people of Mecca.

00:53:03 --> 00:53:06
			He was basically one of the five

00:53:07 --> 00:53:11
			people who helped to put an end to the embargo.

00:53:13 --> 00:53:28
			So if you remember that story of how the embargo came to an end, he was one of the individuals who
helped to bring it to an end. So almost I'm even ID he did accept the request.

00:53:29 --> 00:53:31
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:53:32 --> 00:53:41
			he entered into the protection of Al mataram Ebina ID. And so he spent the night at his house, and
then early in the morning,

00:53:42 --> 00:53:43
			a little more time.

00:53:44 --> 00:53:57
			He asked six or seven of his sons to carry their swords, and put on special clothes, and then to go
out surrounding the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam escorting him to the cab.

00:53:59 --> 00:54:17
			When they reached the cab. They took a seat watching the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam making
Tawaf around the cab. And so Abu Sufian came to Elmo time. He'd been ID, and he said, Are you giving
him protection? Or

00:54:19 --> 00:54:20
			are you following Him meaning?

00:54:21 --> 00:54:45
			Are you one of His followers? Have you accepted Islam? And so I'm not I'm said, I'm only giving him
protection. And so Abu Sofia and said, in that case, we accept your protection. So Rasulullah
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was now giving Dawa in Metka under the protection of wartime, even it.

00:54:47 --> 00:54:54
			We move on, to the lessons that we learn from the journey to life.

00:54:55 --> 00:54:57
			The first lesson that we learned

00:54:58 --> 00:54:59
			is that

00:55:00 --> 00:55:09
			The importance of targeting the leaders and the people of influence in society. And so we mentioned
this previously,

00:55:11 --> 00:55:15
			when we spoke about the Islam of Homer, Barbara, the Allahu Ahad

00:55:16 --> 00:55:39
			and how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam pray to Allah to guide one of the two emeralds. Why
these two individuals in particular because they were influential, and they will play a huge role in
the spread of Islam. So, notice the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam went straight

00:55:41 --> 00:55:47
			to the leaders of authority if he didn't go and start preaching to

00:55:48 --> 00:55:59
			the regular people on the street. He went to, he went to the leaders. And so when they did not
accept the message,

00:56:01 --> 00:56:11
			it was likely that no one else would accept the message. And so this is why he didn't spend. He
didn't have to spend much time in a party.

00:56:12 --> 00:56:14
			And so this is an important lesson that we learn

00:56:15 --> 00:56:22
			to target the important and influential people in our data. The second lesson that we learn

00:56:26 --> 00:56:38
			is even Hadith or the Allahu Akbar was the one who was protecting Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam, from the rocks that were being thrown at Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:56:40 --> 00:56:47
			The inheritor was using his own body, as a shield to protect the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:56:49 --> 00:57:00
			In the Battle of Oxford, we have similar stories of Sahaba, who use their backs to protect the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:57:02 --> 00:57:06
			But this time, not from rocks, but rather from from swords and from spirits.

00:57:08 --> 00:57:10
			We may not have the chance

00:57:12 --> 00:57:13
			to stand up to defend,

00:57:14 --> 00:57:21
			to defend and support the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam with our physical bodies, but

00:57:23 --> 00:57:25
			we can make that up by defending

00:57:27 --> 00:57:31
			the message of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and protecting his honor

00:57:32 --> 00:57:33
			one of the tabby Irene

00:57:35 --> 00:57:47
			Obul Muslim. Hola, Annie. He says, do the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
think that we will let them have rasool Allah for themselves?

00:57:48 --> 00:57:58
			No, we are going to compete with them. We want to get our share of Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam. So we may be centuries

00:57:59 --> 00:58:02
			away from the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:58:03 --> 00:58:07
			we obviously cannot help in the battles

00:58:08 --> 00:58:14
			that he waged, and that the Muslims fought, but there is still a lot that we can do.

00:58:16 --> 00:58:17
			And so

00:58:18 --> 00:58:32
			we may not be able to do what Zaid inheritor did, or what the companions did on the day of oil, but
at least we can do what we can what is in our hands, and that is

00:58:33 --> 00:58:36
			to stand up to defend the Prophet sallallahu. It was Allah

00:58:38 --> 00:58:41
			by preaching his message, by teaching his Siraj

00:58:43 --> 00:58:48
			and by standing up to defend him when he is attacked,

00:58:49 --> 00:59:00
			especially in this day and age, whenever he is attacked, and made fun of and mocked, and ridiculed
to stand up and to defend and to defend his honor.

00:59:01 --> 00:59:03
			The third lesson that we learn

00:59:05 --> 00:59:08
			is the mercy of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:59:11 --> 00:59:16
			His mercy and also his high hopes that he had

00:59:18 --> 00:59:26
			I Isha, radi, Allahu and honey rates, and this is mentioned in so Hebrew sahih al Bukhari and Sahih
Muslim.

00:59:28 --> 00:59:44
			She says, I asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, have you experienced a day harder and
more difficult than the day have offered? Because I isharo The Allah who was young, extremely young
in Mecca.

00:59:46 --> 00:59:59
			So she missed out on the Dawa of Mecca. So later on in Medina, she saw what happened to the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam on the day of it was a very difficult day.

01:00:00 --> 01:00:03
			So she asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

01:00:04 --> 01:00:28
			have you faced anything more difficult than that date? So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
said, Yes, I experienced, I experienced it at the hands of your people, meaning kurush the most
difficult treatment I met was on the day of al Qaeda, which was the day that the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam went to a bar.

01:00:29 --> 01:00:39
			He said, When I met the chiefs, inviting them to Islam, but they made no response, they did not
accept my message. So I left in deep distress.

01:00:41 --> 01:00:45
			I did not recover until I arrived at coordinate thyroid.

01:00:46 --> 01:00:48
			And so there I raised my head.

01:00:49 --> 01:00:52
			I looked up to the sky, and I saw a cloud,

01:00:54 --> 01:00:56
			which had cast its shadow over me.

01:00:57 --> 01:01:00
			I saw in it Gibreel alayhis, Salam.

01:01:01 --> 01:01:09
			And he called upon me, he said, Indeed, Allah heard what your people said to you, and the response
that they gave to you.

01:01:10 --> 01:01:18
			And Allah has sent you the angel in charge of the mountains, to order him to do to them as you wish.

01:01:20 --> 01:01:22
			Then the angel of the mountains called me,

01:01:23 --> 01:01:25
			he greeted me, he gave me salons.

01:01:26 --> 01:01:48
			And he said, Oh Muhammad, Allah has heard what your people have said to you. I am the angel of the
mountains. And my Rob has sent me to you, so that you may give me your orders. If you wish, I will
bring together these two mountains that stand opposite to each other.

01:01:50 --> 01:01:52
			And I will bring them crashing down on these people.

01:01:55 --> 01:02:02
			And Surah Surah Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said, What was his response? You know,
imagine what he had been through.

01:02:04 --> 01:02:08
			being pelted with stones and being chased out of life.

01:02:10 --> 01:02:12
			But he did not allow his anger

01:02:13 --> 01:02:17
			to take a hold of him, but rather, we see His mercy coming out.

01:02:19 --> 01:02:29
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said no, I rather hope that Allah will raise from
among their descendants of people who were worship Allah alone,

01:02:31 --> 01:02:33
			and will not associate any partners with him.

01:02:36 --> 01:02:44
			And so look at how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he remained positive even after all this
happened. And he said, No.

01:02:46 --> 01:02:51
			Perhaps their children will go on one day to accept Islam.

01:02:53 --> 01:02:54
			So why you destroy them?

01:02:57 --> 01:02:59
			The fourth lesson that we learn,

01:03:01 --> 01:03:10
			we spoke about what happened between the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, and the servant, the
Christian servant, I guess.

01:03:13 --> 01:03:15
			This was an example

01:03:16 --> 01:03:20
			of giving Dawa to action.

01:03:21 --> 01:03:24
			So rasool Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam started

01:03:25 --> 01:03:27
			eating by seeing Bismillah

01:03:29 --> 01:03:32
			a small Islamic act.

01:03:33 --> 01:03:37
			That was the cause of someone embracing Islam.

01:03:39 --> 01:03:50
			Because I Deus had never heard this before, from the Arabs from these people. And so that led him to
inquire and to ask

01:03:51 --> 01:03:57
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And so sometimes the things that we do,

01:03:58 --> 01:04:01
			the small things that we may do,

01:04:02 --> 01:04:05
			and we may not even give it much consideration.

01:04:07 --> 01:04:10
			It could lead people to come and ask us

01:04:11 --> 01:04:14
			about these things that we're doing.

01:04:15 --> 01:04:31
			them becoming curious about Islam, and eventually leading them to accept Islam. And there are so
many stories of converts, who say that what led them to Islam was that they met some Muslims, and
they saw

01:04:32 --> 01:04:35
			that they're doing certain things or certain way

01:04:36 --> 01:04:50
			that was intriguing to them. And that was curious to them. It raised their curiosity. And then they
started asking and studying Islam and that was what led them to accept Islam.

01:04:52 --> 01:04:53
			The fifth lesson that we learn

01:04:58 --> 01:04:59
			is the positive results that

01:05:00 --> 01:05:02
			resulted from this journey to a bar if

01:05:03 --> 01:05:05
			and that was in the Islam of the jinn.

01:05:07 --> 01:05:11
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam left mecca for authoritive.

01:05:12 --> 01:05:15
			With the intention of Dawa

01:05:16 --> 01:05:29
			of spreading the message of Islam, he was fed up with his own people. He said, There have to be
other people out there in the world, who may accept my message. Let me go and preach elsewhere.

01:05:31 --> 01:05:34
			And so, Allah subhanho wa Taala made sure

01:05:35 --> 01:05:40
			that he will not let the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam go home disappointed.

01:05:41 --> 01:05:45
			So after these humans rejected

01:05:46 --> 01:05:47
			his message,

01:05:48 --> 01:05:57
			Allah subhanahu Uttara sent another species who accepted it, and that was the gym. And not only did
they accept it,

01:05:59 --> 01:06:04
			but they then took the message back to their people.

01:06:05 --> 01:06:07
			And so they became values

01:06:08 --> 01:06:09
			to Islam.

01:06:10 --> 01:06:15
			Just like certain companions came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam from outside of Mecca.

01:06:16 --> 01:06:20
			And we mentioned examples of this previous Abuja oil refinery,

01:06:22 --> 01:06:22
			be mad.

01:06:24 --> 01:06:30
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam after they became Muslim, he told them go back to your
people.

01:06:31 --> 01:06:41
			And so they became too hot, they returned back to their people giving Dawa. And so what we learn
from this is that Allah subhanahu Attallah will never let those who are sincere,

01:06:43 --> 01:06:44
			he will never let them down.

01:06:45 --> 01:06:53
			And so as long as your intention is sincere, and you put in the effort, the fruits will be seen.

01:06:55 --> 01:06:57
			Even if not right away,

01:06:59 --> 01:07:01
			even if not in your lifetime.

01:07:03 --> 01:07:04
			How many

01:07:05 --> 01:07:07
			great scholars of Islam

01:07:11 --> 01:07:13
			were not famous when they were alive.

01:07:15 --> 01:07:18
			And they were tortured and they were imprisoned.

01:07:22 --> 01:07:24
			But centuries later,

01:07:25 --> 01:07:28
			we today rely on their works.

01:07:30 --> 01:07:32
			The examples of enamel Buhari

01:07:33 --> 01:07:36
			the example of Scheffel Islam Ibn Tanea.

01:07:38 --> 01:07:42
			That's why one of the students of Scheffel Islam even tinier

01:07:43 --> 01:07:44
			he said

01:07:46 --> 01:07:51
			at the death of Ibn Tanea, he gathered the students of me Tamia, because even tinier

01:07:52 --> 01:07:53
			he was.

01:07:55 --> 01:07:57
			He wasn't an opponent

01:07:59 --> 01:08:02
			of some of the more influential scholars

01:08:03 --> 01:08:07
			who were a shadows and people are bigger.

01:08:08 --> 01:08:11
			So he was always persecuted, and he died in prison.

01:08:14 --> 01:08:17
			And so he had written so many volumes of works.

01:08:19 --> 01:08:25
			But no one was allowed to spread his works. So one of his students got the students of Ibn Taymiyyah
together and he said by Allah,

01:08:27 --> 01:08:44
			work hard in passing on the works of Ibn Taymiyyah. For I swear by Allah, that Allah will eventually
give life to these works by men who are not even alive today by men who are still in the backbones
of their fathers.

01:08:45 --> 01:08:46
			And that's exactly what happened.

01:08:48 --> 01:08:52
			Next, we'll look at how many hundreds of volumes of works I've even Tamia

01:08:54 --> 01:09:05
			only became available centuries after his death. The point here is that we have to put in the
effort. And we have to be sincere to Allah

01:09:06 --> 01:09:21
			and do what we can, even if we don't see any results in our lifetime in front of us, eventually,
eventually the fruits will come when Allah subhanho wa Taala decides, though, the last lesson that
we learned

01:09:22 --> 01:09:23
			is

01:09:25 --> 01:09:46
			the permissibility of seeking protection from non muscles and kuffaar. And so this is found in the
case of ultimate I'm in it. In fact, even before that, Abu Talib was a calf here, and the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was under his protection.

01:09:48 --> 01:09:55
			And here the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was looking for protection under someone before he
entered Mecca.

01:09:58 --> 01:09:59
			And so this is still some

01:10:00 --> 01:10:05
			thing that exists even today, and we are allowed to resort to it

01:10:06 --> 01:10:11
			when we are seeking protection and safety for our lives, and so it exists today

01:10:13 --> 01:10:15
			in the form of what they call political asylum.

01:10:17 --> 01:10:18
			You know, you're being persecuted

01:10:19 --> 01:10:29
			in your homeland because of your Islam. So there's nothing wrong with seeking asylum

01:10:31 --> 01:10:34
			and protection from kofod.

01:10:35 --> 01:10:37
			Now the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

01:10:38 --> 01:10:40
			was always loyal.

01:10:41 --> 01:10:46
			He was always loyal to those who supported him.

01:10:48 --> 01:10:54
			As we saw in the case of Abu Talib, he said, I'm going to seek Allah's forgiveness for you until
Allah forbade him.

01:10:57 --> 01:10:59
			With regards to a Moto M,

01:11:00 --> 01:11:01
			even hottie

01:11:02 --> 01:11:04
			he did not become a Muslim.

01:11:05 --> 01:11:13
			He died shortly after the Hijra of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he died a cafe. His son
became a Muslim

01:11:15 --> 01:11:17
			Jubeir a Bimota Jubeir

01:11:19 --> 01:11:23
			with regards to Elmo time, on the day of Burdur

01:11:25 --> 01:11:34
			after the Muslims were victorious over Quraysh and now in the hands of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam were captives of war.

01:11:36 --> 01:11:38
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said

01:11:40 --> 01:11:49
			if Al Mouton EBRD had been alive today and spoken to me about these filthy people, that's how the
profits are some refer to them.

01:11:52 --> 01:11:57
			If the price if Elmo time had spoken to me, on their behalf, saying,

01:11:59 --> 01:11:59
			you know freedom,

01:12:01 --> 01:12:04
			then I would have definitely freed them for him.

01:12:05 --> 01:12:14
			So this shows us though, the loyalty of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to those who helped
him

01:12:16 --> 01:12:21
			and were supportive of him, even though they may have been Kfar.

01:12:23 --> 01:12:25
			So with that we come to the end of

01:12:26 --> 01:13:01
			these events in the 10th year of the prophethood. We'll move on next week on to one last event that
happens in this year. And it is a magnificent event, a very, very important event. We will cover it
in its entirety next week in sha Allah Who to Allah Subhana Allah who will be Hambrick. I shall do
Allah Allah Allah and still Furukawa to relate. Also Lillahi wa salam ala Nabina Muhammad wa ala
alihi wa sahbihi Ultramarine was Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
