We continue on with our series
on The Most Beautiful Names of Allah, and ismat and Hetzner, a smart listener. And we're nearing the end, we started
about a year ago. And we covered almost all the names of Allah hamdulillah with a few remaining insha Allah to Allah.
Today we have four names of Allah.
There are names which are
of that kind which cannot be separated
when they're mentioned.
And so there are certain names of Allah that come in pairs.
When one is mentioned, the other has to be mentioned with it.
They are pairs that must be mentioned together.
And previously, we covered
two examples of that.
Two examples of names of Allah which come in pairs.
And they were, oh, well, we'll ask here. So this is one example of a well, we'll hear the first and the last. So Allah is the first and he's the last, and
a Vahid all bopping
along here and about him,
the highest
and the nearest.
And today we have four names of Allah of the same kind, and they are
called build, and Al basil.
And Elmo cut them and
we'll call build, and allow soup and Elmo, Kadeem, and
there are other names,
which are commonly mentioned,
that are of the same kind, however,
none of those can be authentically proven.
They're not mentioned in any authentic hadith
such as an harfield or raffia.
The one who brings down and the one who lifts up, and Elmo, LTE and alemannia,
the one who gives and the one who prevents from giving
and enough of dog, the one who benefits and the one who harms
and MRIs and M within
the one who
gives glory and the one who brings people down.
But many of these names are actually taken from
some of the attributes of Allah, that are mentioned in the Quran from verbs. So for example, memorize nl mudgil comes from Surah Al Imran.
You're assuming Yeshua, when you did lumen Yeshua.
But we mentioned one of the rules about Allah's names is we cannot take them from verbs.
We cannot take them from the attributes of Allah. They must be mentioned by Allah or his messenger as names.
So today we have these four names, I'll call Bill Daniel battlesuit, and Animal Kingdom and
none of these names are mentioned in the Quran. But they are mentioned by the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in certain authentic hadith. And so I'll call bill the end al Basil is mentioned in the hadith of NSR. Viola one collected by Abu Dawood and ultimately
the people came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and said you are a suitor.
Allah
the prices have shot up.
There was an inflation
and so they said the prices have gone up.
So fix the prices for us.
So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied,
in Allah who will Musa you.
I'll call build al SIP or Rezac we're in Nila Urdu and el corte de la sir I don't mean call me up lagoon email will be Malema team. Feed them in Wallah man. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Allah is the One who fixes prices. He is the one who is accorded the one who withholds and alabaster the one who gives lavishly and provides
and Rosa the one who provides and I hope that when I meet Allah, none of you will have any claim for an injustice regarding blood or money.
Meaning that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was not going to fix the prices, thereby causing injustice to certain people.
So this is the Hadith in which it is mentioned.
But it's also been mentioned in the verb form in the Quran. And so in Surah, Al Baqarah
Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Mandela your Korean Bula Cadogan hacer una who will lend to Allah a good loan for you la Eva hula hula fn kathira. So that Allah will multiply it many times over. Wala who Jacobi will do via DeSoto where he he taught Joan and so Allah withholds. And he grants in abundance. And to him you will all be returned, sort of Bacara verse 245. And so here Allah mentions these two names, but in the verb for
and so we mentioned, we mentioned that
we don't take Allah's names from verbs.
But we're not doing that here. The names have already been proven
to be authentic, and that's mentioned the Hadith and then we can also mention this, this area.
So this is a cobbled animal desert as for Elmo, Kadhim affair.
Also it has not been mentioned in the Quran, these two names, but they have been mentioned in multiple Hadith.
And so,
these two names have been mentioned in certain do has that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would make
like the hadith of rally Radi Allahu Han in Sahih Muslim
when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would stand in Salah.
He would say at the end,
at the end of his salah, between the Tisha hood and the salah
Ali Robbie Allah Who says that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when he would pray
at the end of his Salah between the Tisha who then the salaam, he would say, Allah who knows a fiddly man condemned to a heart, when a surah to land, when a Seraph to when I entered ILM OB he made me Oh ALLAH forgive me, for my former and my latter sins, which I have done secretly and those which I have done openly, and
that in which I have wronged others.
And those sins of mine that only you are aware of.
And then he says, Until you cut them,
or until, like you learned, you alone are Animoca them, the one who
sends forth
whomever you will,
and you are the one who pulls backward delays, whoever you will, no one has the right to be worshipped except you.
So this is where Elmo, Kadeem and as has been mentioned, along with other ahaadeeth, as well, similar to this, various do as in which the Prophet SAW Salem would make and he would refer to Allah as an Kadeem. And
so what do these names mean?
As for a call build an herbal soup,
they refer to Allah
being the one who gives
abundantly
and the one who Oh
So withholds from giving.
And so Khabib
comes from the word kaboom. Which means to, to withhold, to hold on, to hold on to something and not give it
the one who withholds and restricts, restricts giving.
While Barcelona is the opposite of that,
El Paso comes from the word bus, which means easy to, to be easygoing, but also to open up your hand.
As Allah says, in Surah Turner EDA, when the Jews said
that the hands of Allah are tied up, Allah said belly Adele who may be su 10, rather, his two hands are outstretched, giving.
And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned these two names are called Build and LBL soup in the context of inflation, that we mentioned the Hadith, the inflation that occurred during his time. And so the Companions came complaining about it, asking him to fix the prices at a fixed rate. So he answered by mentioning these names, to prove that look, such matters do not go back to him. He's simply a servant of Allah.
Rather, everything related to provision to risk. It's in the hands of Allah, Allah.
It's in the hands of Allah alone. And so Allah alone opens the gates of risk.
And he alone closes the gates of risk.
And all of that is according to his wisdom and his knowledge.
You know, why?
Why is it that at certain times there are inflation's and there are famines
and there's, you know, economic instability, etc.
Why does Allah decree that for that to happen?
It's all according to his wisdom and his knowledge as Allah says, in Surah Assura
when Besa Tala who raised the ADA de Lebell Hello, Phil, are we working Eunice zero because Jeremiah sharp
that had ALLAH given abundant provisions when obasa Tala Huesca if Allah had opened up the gates of risk,
without there being any limit,
then
people would have transgressed throughout the land.
However, he sends down whatever He wills, imperfect measure, well, I can unit zero because Jeremiah,
he sends in a certain measure a certain limit, whatever he sees
as being suitable for us.
And so, this is the meaning of an Arbib and Mobicip as for Al macadam, and
macadam
comes from
the cut dinner, or cut dinner,
which means the one who
pushes something forward
or advances something,
puts it forward, prefers it over something else.
And it is the opposite of that.
And
is the one who bring something back,
pull something back, or delays something or someone for that matter. And so what this means
is that Allah Subhana Allah, Allah is the one who
puts forward
certain people over others.
Allah puts certain people put some forward over others, favoring them over others.
And this is in knowledge in Eman
in a clock, in manners,
and other praiseworthy qualities.
On the other hand, he pulls others back, not allowing them to advance in these qualities.
Again, all of that according to his wisdom and his knowledge. And so he advances certain people through his favorite and his bounty
while pulling others back and delaying them by his wisdom and his knowledge. So all of
This proves that Allah alone is in control of the hearts
and guidance. And so if anyone is guided
it is because
Allah guided them.
And if someone remains steadfast upon guidance, then it is because Allah made him to be steadfast.
And vice versa if anyone goes astray, it is because Allah turned him away from the guidance.
And so Allah is omocha dim,
putting people forward and delaying people, putting them behind.
And that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would
frequently make dua to Allah or do either
selama for the Allahu Allah his wife says that it was a dua that he used to make the most frequently
and that is yarmulke Libelle Kulu
the bit
Kulu BANA Isla de Nick.
Oh Turner of the hearts
make our hearts firm upon your deen.
Why because our guidance and our steadfastness is in the hands of Allah.
We move on now to the lessons that we learned from
these four names of Allah.
The first lesson
as we mentioned earlier, these names are examples of names that cannot be detached are separated when they're mentioned. And so they are pairs that must be mentioned together.
The appears that much must be mentioned together because mentioning one alone
is not suitable.
And in fact,
makes it seem as if Allah is deficient, for example, saying that Allah is a car builder.
And that's it. You're saying Allah is the One who withholds.
And so when we say that Allah is Kaabil and Al Biosilk, it gives us the complete picture.
It's not suitable to only refer to Allah as Al COVID, the one who will hold likewise, it's not suitable to say that Allah is
the One who pulls back.
The one who delays
but rather, what is suitable for Allah is to say that he is Elmo Kadhim and and
and so when we mentioned both together, it shows the perfection that is due to Allah subhanahu ATOD. The second lesson
is that l COVID. And l Bastrop. Teach us that we should put our trust in Allah Alone and turn to him
along to seek risk,
to seek sustenance and provision
as there is no one who can give what Allah has withheld.
There is no one who can give what Allah has withheld.
And there is no one who can withhold what Allah has decided to give.
All of it is in the hands of Allah.
And so part of a dua that the prophets of salaam
would make is Allah Who Melaka Alhamdulillah
or Allah or Praise belongs to you.
Allah whom Allah Hola, Ka buhbuh Lima the CELTA there is no there is no one to withhold what you have decided to give while they are super li Malka doctor and there is no no one to give what you have decided to withhold.
The third lesson
is that we should be content and satisfied with what Allah has given to us. Whether it be literal, or whether it be a lot.
And so your satisfaction and contentment with what Allah has given to you is a sign of your iman in these two names of Allah.
When you are content and satisfied with what Allah has given to you, no matter how little it may be, the shows your iman in Allah subhanho wa Taala and in these two names of Allah AlkaViva Anil dasa
and so you know that
Whatever you have, or whatever you don't have, is as a result of what Allah has either decided to give or what he has decided to withhold.
The fourth lesson
to believe that whatever Allah either gives or withholds
is as a result of his wisdom,
that it is as a result of his wisdom.
And not,
it is not a proof of him being pleased with those who he gives,
are displeased with those who he withholds from giving.
And so some of us we look at certain people who Allah has given them of the dunya.
And we think it's a sign that Allah is pleased with them.
And we look at others who are not that well off.
And we think Allah has not favored them.
Rather, in most cases, it's actually the opposite. In most cases, it's actually the opposite, that Allah gives abundantly
to those who gives, as a test for them,
to see their gratitude, and most of them are ungrateful.
And so he's given them
he's giving them
as
a means of
hastening their punishment in this dunya before the next.
And those who he would hold from giving. In most cases, they are those he has favored
of the believers and the righteous.
And making them go through that is also a test for them to see how patient they will be.
And also, because whatever he has withheld from giving them in the dunya,
he will give them abundantly, far better for them in that era.
And so the point is, that it all goes back to the wisdom of Allah.
And so we should never think
that those whom Allah gives the HE is pleased with and those he withholds from giving that he is displeased with.
The fifth lesson that we learned is
that just because Allah is a copy of an eldership,
it does not mean that we don't have the means
by which we can increase our risk.
These names teach us that risk is in the hands of Allah. Yes.
He has written
the risk for every single being
he's the one who provides Yes.
But
he has given us the means
of attaining risk, he has put that in our hands.
And so as an example, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
Whoever desires a lot of risk,
and he desires for a long life,
then let him to
maintain good ties and relations with his relatives. Salatu Rahim.
And so this is an example of how the prophets of salaam pointed us to do something that will increase our risk.
Likewise,
Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us
in the story of who Daddy has set up that hood, set to his people,
was still for Europe, the consumer to lie, you'll receive his center Aliko Medrol.
seek forgiveness of Allah is still far and turn to him and tell that
if you do that, Allah will bring down
from the sky grotesque
in abundance.
So this shows us that is still far and turning to Allah in repentance is a means by which we can increase our risk. These are only a few examples. The point is that
Allah has given us the means by which we can seek an increase in our risk.
Even though he has said our risk, it doesn't mean that we should not go out and
take the means by which we can increase or increase our risk.
The sixth lesson that we learned
And this is from Allah His name's omocha Diem and
these two names teach us to attach our hearts with Allah alone. And so no matter how much we try to advance something forward, if Allah has willed for it, it will never advance
because he is
the one who brings back delays
and no matter how much we may try to delay something
and bring something back.
If Allah has not willed for it to be brought back, it will never be brought back or delayed.
And an example of this is life and death.
The appointed term
of when somebody will live until
has been decided by Allah, no one can move it,
no one can advance it push it forward, nor can anyone bring it back.
It has been set by Allah he is an macadam and
and also with regards to people as we mentioned, and will cut them and Al Mohammed is the one who advances certain people over others. And so Allah has decided that certain people
are more favorable than others.
And so the prophets and the messengers, Allah has decided for them to be the best,
above everyone else,
and the righteous and so on and so forth.
The seventh lesson that we learned, again, from Animal Kingdom and
believing that anything or anyone who is who advanced in any matter,
or anything or anyone who is pulled back and delete from any matter, it is all based on the wisdom of Allah who made it happen that way.
It's part of our iman in Al Qaeda and al Qaeda.
In the decree and predestination of Allah,
there anyone or anything who is advanced,
or pulled back and deleted in anything.
It is all based on the wisdom of Allah who made it to happen that way. We should never object
we should never object, but rather we should submit
and be satisfied with how Allah has decreed it.
We should be satisfied and submit
to what Allah has decreed, and how he has decreed it.
The next lesson that we learn, again from animal kingdom, and
that although Allah subhanahu Attallah is described as
advancing something and pulling back something or advancing somebody and pulling back and delaying somebody,
he has also attributed that to us.
And so Allah says, in certain Madatha, Lehman share an income and yet occurred. Danna, are we at a hurry?
Whoever Have you chooses
to move forward
to take the lead or to lag behind.
And yet a Kadena.
He attributes it to us. And so he says that we have the free will to either move forward or remain behind.
And so the only way to move forward
is through doing good deeds. And the way to lag behind is by committing sins.
The only way to move forward is by worshiping Allah and being obedient to Him.
And the way to lag behind is by not doing that.
And so some people will will take the lead and they'll move forward and others will lag behind.
Yes, Allah decreed, who will move forward and who will lag behind but at the same time, he has given us the freewill
and the choice
to either move forward or lag behind so that you
No one can come on the day of judgment and say, Oh Allah you decreed for this to happen this way. And I had no choice and no Allah has given us that freewill. Allah has given us that free will.
And we chose to either move forward or to lag behind.
Finally, the last lesson that we can mention.
Again concerning al macadam, and Anwar
the Hadith mentioned these two names
were due has that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned regarding forgiveness.
As we mentioned one example of that
Allah Who filled him up and dumped on a hurt on the road assert, when I land on a Seraph to win the entire island will be humanly until mocha demo until Mercury like you learned.
And the other Hadith, in which these two names are mentioned, we notice they are all mentioned in the context of so far, and seeking forgiveness from Allah.
So what this indicates
is that
sins, pull us back
and delay us
on our path to Allah.
And Allah, Allah forgiving us
is a means of bringing us forward
and raising our rank in the sight of Allah.
And so if we find ourselves lagging behind,
on this journey to Allah subhanho wa Taala what's causing us to lag behind our our, or our sins or disobedience?
What is the key that will open the door to to move forward? It is the heart of seeking forgiveness from Allah
and turning to him in repentance.
That opens up the way
that gives you the boost, you need to move forward
while you're lagging behind.
Without turning to Allah in repentance and seeking His forgiveness, no matter what you do, you're going to still remain behind.
No matter how many good deeds you do, you're still going to remain behind.
Because your sins are weighing you back. They're holding you back.
And the only way
the only way to bring that to an end
is by
turning to Allah in repentance.
And Toba has certain conditions,
like being sincere and
coming to Allah with a remorseful heart, that you regret what you did.
And
you make the intention, you're not going to go back to the sin again.
And you immediately stop committing that sin.
Once you do all of that, then you're told that your repentance is accepted by Allah. And this is now the first step to moving forward.
So these are the lessons we learned from these names of Allah, our build our basil, and then cut them and
we ask Allah subhanahu wa taala to make us from among those who advance forward
and not from among those who lag behind. Also Allah Allahu wa salam ala Nabina Muhammad while early he wants to be a chameleon was Salam alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
