Over the last several weeks, we covered those names of Allah subhanho wa Taala that were related to his protection him taking care of us
in the general sense, as well as in the specific sense of Allah being there for his believing servants, taking care of them
being sufficient for them.
And so, today we move on to three of Allah's names
that relate to a kind of Allah taking care of us
a form an example of how Allah takes care of us and that is by guiding us
by guiding us and showing us the way
and so these three names are l herdy.
l movie in and L
L, her D. l moody and l hawk.
And so l hairy. This name of Allah has been mentioned only twice in the Quran. As a name.
As a name, it's been mentioned twice.
And so in Surah, Al Furqan Allah subhanho wa Taala says in verse 31, what Kedah Luca Jaya Eileen Lee Kulina been I do one minute emoji Raman.
And we have made enemies for every Prophet
from among the wicked
workers of Europe beaker had the N one or three raw workers have Europe beaker had yen, one or three Euro And sufficient is your Lord as handy as a guide and nostri as a helper. So here we have the name. Al Hattie.
The other place that's mentioned is in surah to hedge
Allah subhanahu Attallah says what in Allah Lucha De La Vina men industry Rotring are struggling.
And Allah surely guidance he is the guider of those who believe He guides them to the straight path. He guides the believers to the straight path. So although
it's only been mentioned twice in the Quran, as the name Al Hammadi,
it has been mentioned numerous times,
over 100 times, in the verb form,
in the verb form, both in the past tense as well as the present tense.
And so we hear throughout the Quran we hear yesterday
which means to guide
hada the past tense and so Heather
and yesterday, or the verb form of l had
asked for L moonbeam. It has only been mentioned once in the Quran as a name.
And so Allah subhanho wa Taala says in Surah a new verse 54
year old woman even you will see him Allah Who Dena whom will help.
Here Allah subhanho wa Taala is referring to those who your Munna Masana tilava philatelists Minette.
Those who falsely slander
the believing women
accusing them false we have Xena.
And this is because she wanted to know talks about the story of an if the story of the slander of Aisha
Hi, my name is Ravi Alana Anna. And so Allah subhanahu Italie referring to those who slander, chaste Muslim women. Allah says regarding them yet will not even UEFI him Allahu Dena who will help. On that day Allah will give them their recompense. Their punishment in full, they will get what they deserved for what they did. And then Allah says, Why Allah Munna and Allah who will help cool moonbeam where Allah Munna and Allah who will help l moonbeam. And they will come to know that Allah alone is
I'll help I'll move in the manifest truth,
the manifest truth. So llbean means the one who is clear,
the one who is manifest and the one who makes things clear and that is Allah.
Also the verb form has been mentioned throughout the Quran. So although l moody in as a name has only been mentioned in this one place in the Quran
they Jana Ubu, has been mentioned throughout the Quran
making things clear and so for example, an example of how Allah mentions both
you the Yin and Yang
is in surah Nisa, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, you read a long liyu the Yean Allah Quran Allah wants to make things clear to you you beggin why yeah he d come soon and and Latina will probably come and he wants to guide you to the ways the correct ways of those before you.
So you begin has been mentioned throughout the QA
as well I'll help the third name that we have today and help
it has been mentioned 10 times in the Quran
and help this name of Allah has been mentioned 10 times in the Quran.
And so we mentioned one example already
one example we just mentioned right now which was
an Allah who will help cool movie
so in order to know Allah says and they will come to know that Allah is Al help l movie in the manifest truth so I'll help means the truth.
and elsewhere are another example of a hawk Allah subhanho wa Taala says in Surah Al Anam verse 62. So Marut do Illa Allah Hema, Willa whom will help,
then they will be returned to Allah, who is their true Master?
Their true, Lord.
And in Surah, two hedge Allah mentions and help as his name twice.
Allah mentions it twice, in Surah, two hedge
in verse six, and then in verse 62.
And so Allah says Daddy can be Anila who will help you, then you can be Anila who will Shaco what I know who you feel melta were under who Allah cliche including.
That is because Allah alone is the truth and help and that he alone gives life to the dead and he alone is able to do everything. And then in verse 62, Delica B and Allah who are shocked to again, the same phrase, then he can be an Allahu Al HELCO. That is because of what is the truth, but then the rest of it is different. This time Allah says, well Anna Maria de Rouen, I mean do Li who will beltway
and as for that which they call upon besides Him, then it is false.
So here in this area, Allah makes clear that he is the only truth, meaning he is the only true God deserving of worship, and anything that is worshipped besides Him is false.
This name has also been mentioned by the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
And so, among the deuce has an stiff tag.
Among the two has that we have been taught by the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to say, when starting salah,
so when you say Allahu Akbar
we have different kinds of ADKAR
one of those, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would start with in pmla
Eat
so this hadith is found in Buhari
and it's a long dua.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said Allahu Malakal hemmed into neuro similarity with Audible and then fee him while I call him and calling him a center where it will a woman fee him. Well I can help and then and then the name comes I'll help. He says it'll help go
and tell help who you are the truth
and tell hubco It doesn't stop there. It continues until help go telco whatever I do can help to co locate help. What do you call it can help. Well, Jana to help on one now to help with Sarah to help can when maybe you wanna help, when Mohammed will help Allahu Melaka Islam to allocate our culture will be corralled into until the end of the DUA.
So here are the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam clearly explicitly refers to Allah as an help. So these are the three names, what do they what do these names mean?
Basically, as we can see, they refer to Allah being the one who guides
Allah subhanahu Attallah, being the one who guides His creation, to that which is beneficial for them.
And he continuously shows us the truth, he makes the truth clear. And that's the meaning of a movie.
He shows us the truth and makes it clear and manifest such that it is not ambiguous, it is not
blurry, it is clear as daylight.
And so he shows us
truth from falsehood.
He shows us guidance from Miss guidance.
And when it comes to guidance being attributed to Allah subhanahu wa taala.
We have different kinds of guidance. And so when we hear guidance, that was one who guides we usually think of one kind of guidance. And that is that Allah guides whomever He rose, to Islam, and to the straight path. But that is only one kind of guidance.
And so there are three main kinds of guidance that Allah guides His creation.
When we say Allah guides us, there are three main kinds. The first is the general guidance.
And so this refers to Allah, guiding every single soul to what is beneficial for it.
And for its survival in this world.
So this includes not just human beings, but even the animals.
This includes every single creature out there.
And Allah refers to this when he says, In the beginning of Surah, Allah said be his Murghab because Allah, Allah, the Holika fessor was the one who created and then perfectly fashioned, what he created.
Well, Lady cut Dora Fairhead
and the one who decreed ordained precisely everything, and for her dad, and then he guided accordingly.
So him creating everything and then guiding everything that he created, shows us that Allah guides his entire creation. So that includes
not just human beings guiding them to Eman, but also guiding them to the means of their survival.
In this world, as well as animals.
And so when a person is born, whether it's a human being or an animal, who is it who guides this newborn to its mother?
None other than Allah.
Who is it who guides it? To take milk from its mother, whether human or animal?
None other than Allah,
who guides humans and animals to
continue, consume
and eat what is beneficial for them and to stay away from what is harmful for them? None other than Allah.
and so on and so forth. And so this is the general kind of guidance. The second kind of guidance is what is known as the guidance of
your shared and Diane.
And so what this means is that Allah guides in the sense of making the truth clear to His servants.
He guides in the sense that he has shown us the way
he has said, the prophets and the messengers to guide
the prophets and the messengers, they fulfilled their mission,
by leaving us with the guidance
by making clear what is true, and what is false.
And so he showed them the right way. And this is the meaning of a movie
that was the one who makes things clear.
He makes truth clear from falsehood.
And it is this kind of guidance. That is basically Allah has proof against us.
What does that mean?
It means that Allah subhanahu wa taala will never punish anyone before showing them the guidance.
Allah will never punish anyone before
making sure that the guidance reaches them.
And so that is this kind of guidance.
And
this kind of guidance Allah mentions in the Quran regarding some mood
and so Allah says,
what a mess a mood for headache now. As for the mood which were the people of slightly highly Sella, Allah says, As for the mood, then we guided them.
As for
some mood, we guided them for her day now.
We're the people of the Moon were the people of Saleh Elisa mood, were they guided to Islam? No, Allah destroyed them.
So what does it mean that Allah guided them? It means this kind of guidance that Allah showed them the guidance, He left them with the guidance, what proves it is what Allah says right after that. What Amma so mu for her, they, you know, home first to help Bula Anna or Halal Houda. So they preferred
to be blind over the guidance. They they preferred blindness over the guidance.
So Allah did guide them,
meaning, he showed them the truth by sending Saleh Alayhis Salam, and Saleh Ali Salam fulfilled his test.
So, they were guided in that sense, but then they preferred misguidance over guidance.
So, this is the guidance of era shad and beyond. The third kind of guidance is the guidance of tofield and Ilhan,
the guidance of Sophia and Ilhan
what this means is that Allah guides whomever He wills from among his servants, meaning
that he opens up their hearts
and chests to accept the truth.
He guides their hearts.
Allah guides their hearts.
And this has mentioned throughout the era, that Allah guides whomever he wills and that's the meaning of it.
And so, for example,
when
the uncle of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Abu Talib, who was very supportive of him,
but did not accept Islam.
It made the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam extremely
sad, it made him to become extremely saddened.
And he was in grief over that, especially when he died as a cashier as a mystic. So Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in Kerala to a demon that you owe Mohammed, do not guide whom you love, whom you want for them to be guided. It's not up to you.
So what kind of guidance is this? It's this kind of guidance.
As for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam being
the one who guided people
Then yes, he did that. And that is the previous kind of guidance that every prophet did. But now when it comes to the guidance of the hearts, Allah says, You do not guide whom you love who you want for them to be guided? Well, I can know why do you mean you're sharp, however, Allah is the one who guides whom He wills.
Well, who are Allah mobile Dean, and he knows best who are fit to be guided, he knows best, who should be guided.
And so the difference between these these two kinds of guidance that we just mentioned, these last two
an example of this is
if you were lost,
you know, you go to a new place and you're lost, you don't know the way the directions, you get lost, and you don't have GPS.
And you find someone who's a local and you ask him, you know, I want to get this my destination helped me to reach it, guide me.
In a sense, you're looking for guidance.
So he tells you go down the street,
at a traffic light, take, take a left, the next intersection, take a right, you're gonna see a building,
take a right from there, etc. So
he shows you the way
he shows you the way and then he leaves you.
And you follow the directions that
that he gave you. So in this sense, he guided you.
This is the guidance. This is the second kind of guidance that we mentioned, that the prophets and the messengers did. They showed us the way. Now it's up to us to either follow their guidance or not.
But now someone else comes.
And he tells you, You know what?
He gets in his car and he says, Follow me.
You're looking for guidance, you're looking to reach your destination. And he says, You don't want to follow me.
And so he doesn't show you the way. But rather he says follow he takes you by the hand and make sure that you reach your destination, he has guided you.
And this is the other kind of guidance that is only in the hands of Allah. Allah guides people in the sense that he takes them by the hand, he guides their hearts, to follow the truth and remain upon it. Until until they meet Allah subhanahu Uttara.
So the first kind of guidance is not restricted to Allah. The second kind of guidance is restricted to Allah alone.
So this is the meaning of L hair D and L movie as for a hawk,
then it means that Allah is the truth in every sense. Allah is the truth. In every sense, there'll be an absolutely no doubt about about his truth.
And so this includes, in his very being in his very existence, there is not a shadow of a doubt about Allah subhanahu wa taala and his existence.
This includes
in his names and his attributes, all of his names and attributes are true in every sense.
This includes his sole right to be worshipped.
And so there is no true there is no true God, deserving of worship besides Allah. And that is the very essence and the very meaning of the Kalima of Tawheed when we say La ilaha illallah it doesn't mean that there is only one God that exists and that is Allah No. Rather it means there is only one true God
who deserves to be worshipped, and that is Allah.
Allah being the truth includes his words.
And this includes both kinds of words of Allah,
His
words which fall under his other
and so he has
decreed for everything that is going to happen.
And this includes his words as in his legislations.
his books that he sent
the halal and haram it's so and so on and so forth.
So it is all true without a shadow of a doubt.
Allah being the truth includes in his promises, whatever he has promised,
is the Absolute Truth. Meaning that if he has promised something, it must happen.
His promises are true.
His promises
are true whether they relate to this dunya or the akhirah. And so for example, he has promised
victory for the believers, it is bound to happen, it is not something we are allowed to even doubt
with respect to the akhira Allah has promised Jana for the believers and hellfire for the disbelievers, one cannot Delta.
Any doubt in any thing that Allah has spoken of, were promised is covered.
And so all of this
points to Allah being the truth and help.
And all of this comes under the DUA that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made when the dua we mentioned,
enter shock, you are the hawk?
Well, what I do,
and your promise is true. Welcome will look for help. And your words are true.
Will you call
and your meeting is true. What agenda to help agenda is have one now to help and the Hellfire is helped is true, was sad to help.
And the hour the Day of Judgment is true. Wouldn't it be you and a hawk and the profits are true when Mohammed helped Cohen and hermosos sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
was true, and him coming with the truth.
So what do these names teach us? What are the lessons that we can derive from these three names of Allah?
First of all,
the mercy and the kindness of Allah subhanho wa taala.
Just ponder over
the mercy and the kindness of Allah
through these names,
that Allah did not just simply create us,
and then leave us
to wander in confusion without guiding us.
And that includes both kinds of guidance that we mentioned, the general kind of guidance for all of Allah's creation, which includes the animals, Allah did not just create them, and then leave them
without guiding them. But rather, he created and then he guided.
Allah the Halacha VESA will love the dura feather.
And so that also includes the fact that he has guided us by sending us prophets and messengers.
Out of His mercy,
and also out of his justice, he did not create us and then leave us to wonder in darkness
about who he is,
and then what he expects from us. That would be injustice.
And that would not be mercy.
And so this is a refutation
of
many people nowadays who
claim to be atheists
where they say we believe in a creator, but we don't believe that the Creator
communicated with us or sent us anything. He simply created us and here we are, we are here to live and die and that's it.
And so an easy refutation of them is to say that you believe in a creator who is unjust, in a creator who is not merciful. And in order for the Creator, to be who he is, he has to have certain attributes of perfection. And among these attributes of perfection is mercy, justice, and so on and so forth.
The second lesson that we learned from these names is that Allah subhanho wa Taala is in control of absolutely everything.
Allah is in control of absolutely everything.
Even though he has given us
free will.
He is still the one who guides the hurts.
And so this should make us to be dependent upon Him alone in guiding us.
We should not
become deluded and deceived into thinking that
guidance is in our hands.
And now that we're guided, that's it we're going to remain guided.
We have to understand that Allah is the one who guides the hurts.
And so, if he has guided you, he can also misguide you.
And so this is why we have to constantly ask Allah subhanahu Attallah for guidance,
which is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in many different Hadith,
he would teach different kinds of dua
to ask for guidance,
to ask for guidance specifically.
In fact,
every single day in every single Salah we are asking Allah for guidance.
In the ministry, Raul told Mr. Cleaver,
guide us to the straight path
not only five times a day
but in each raka of each Salah
if we were to only count the five Salawat.
Without the Sooners without the extra Salawat that would be 17 times in the day. You're asking Allah for guidance.
And so just this shows us the importance of asking Allah for guidance and depending upon Allah for guidance.
The third lesson
is that Allah subhanahu Attallah is not unjust in any way whatsoever.
Allah is not unjust in any way whatsoever. Why do we say this?
Because
what did we just say in the previous point?
What did we just say that Allah is the one who guides the hearts? Okay, if Allah is the one who guides whom He wills, and misguides, whom He wills, someone will object and say
that this is unjust.
Why does Allah get to choose who to guide who to misguide.
And if Allah chooses to misguide someone, and send them to the hellfire, then this is unjust.
So that's why we follow that up by saying No, Allah is not unjust in any way whatsoever.
And so although he guides and Miss guides, we have to understand
that guidance is of different kinds.
And the guidance that you're thinking about is only one kind.
How about the other kind that we mentioned? And that is the guidance of showing, showing us the truth?
Why do we neglect that kind of guidance? It is that kind of guidance that is Allah's proof against us.
And so Allah sent us the clear guidance.
And now he has given you the free will choose,
choose it or don't choose it.
And Allah will never punish anyone.
Allah will never punish anyone until that guidance has reached them.
As Allah subhanho wa Taala says in Surah Surah
In verse 15, many Tada
so intimated enough
whoever chooses to be guided, then it is only for their own good. So look at how Allah puts the guidance in our hands because we are the ones who choose it.
Woman Bala three Jnana yoga Lu Allah and the opposite.
And whoever chooses to go astray, it is only to their own loss.
And then Allah says what I tested was zero to zero okra, and no, so we'll be burdened with the sin of another. And then Allah says, when I couldn't, DB now had never I thought rasool Allah and we will never punish a people until we have sent a messenger
To warn them,
while not quitting Nam, DB in a hut, nearby thought Rasulullah Allah will never punish anyone until he has sent them a Messenger to warn them. And so what this teaches us is
that Allah subhanahu Attallah is not unjust, if he punishes, it is because
the person chose misguidance over guidance
to force less lesson that we learned is
that we should never become self deluded into thinking that we have been guided
and are upon the straight path therefore, we are guaranteed to remain guided until the day that we meet Allah subhanho wa taala.
And unfortunately, this is something that many many Muslims nowadays they
they think
they think that we have been guided
we are upon the true deen of Allah.
And so
they think that he can never be misguided
on Salah Marathi Allahu anha.
The wife of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam she would say, that the DUA that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would make the most
was yam will call liberal collude. Sep bit can be hygienic.
Oh Turner of the hearts
make my heart steadfast and firm upon your deen.
And so if this is the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam making such a DUA, when he has been guaranteed that
he will not be misguided, making this dua then how about the rest of us? It shows the importance of asking Allah for steadfastness upon this guidance
until the very last breaths that we take in this in this life
fifthly
what we learned from these names is the is that the greatest blessing of Allah subhanho wa taala. The Greatest Name of Allah is without a doubt the guidance of Allah.
So every other blessing
in this dunya it is something that comes and goes.
Every other kind of blessing it is something that comes and goes.
The blessing of wealth,
the blessing of children,
the blessing of safety,
the blessing of
of
wealth of property,
all of these different blessings related to the dunya
they come and go
and they will vanish with our death.
They will not continue with us into our graves except this one blessing
and that is a blessing of right guidance. It is a greatest blessing. That one should be grateful to Allah for and that is why the people of Jen now when they enter Jannah that is what they will say. We'll call it will hum do the lair Hill lady had entered he had
won a queen, Lena, Teddy, Lola and her done Allah.
They will say Praise be to Allah for having guided us to this. Look at how they use that description of Allah's guidance.
Praise be to Allah for guiding us to this and we would never have been guided if it had not been for Allah guiding us. They acknowledged when they reach Jana, that it is Allah who guided them to this.
And so blessings
are preserved by showing gratitude for them.
Blessings are preserved by being grateful for them. If you want any blessing of Allah to remain with you.
Then be thankful to Allah for that blessing.
And don't misuse it
in the day
obedience of Allah
and so that includes the greatest blessing. And that is a blessing of right guidance.
And so if you have been guided by Allah to this
to this Deen
then you showing gratitude to Allah for it is by not just simply saying that I am a Muslim and identifying yourself with Islam.
But
by adhering to the deen of Allah.
putting into practice
these teachings,
obeying Allah, and not disobeying Him.
The sixth lesson that we learn
from these names is the importance of being guiders, to the truth, and not sufficing with being guided ourselves not being selfish.
And the only one who can truly
do that is someone who values it. If you don't value this Islam, then you won't want to share it with anyone.
And so, the greatest thing that you could do in this life is to guide others
is to guide others to the truth of Islam, following in the footsteps of the prophets and messengers,
making clear the truth from falsehood, showing correct guidance to the people, warning them from false guidance
and so on and so forth. The seventh lesson that we learn
in this is from Allah has named Al Hawk
is
having your clean and certainty in Allah and what Allah has sent.
And so not just knowing that it is a truth,
but believing in it with unwavering certainty,
that does not contain even
even the slightest of doubts.
So Allah subhanahu Attallah says
above about himself,
that who can be more truthful
in speech than Allah.
Allah says this twice in Surah, Nisa, and just ponder over
the words of Allah.
The first is in surah Nisa, verse 87. Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Allahu La ilaha illa who there is no God
worthy of worship besides Allah,
Leia, Gemma, I'm gonna come Isla yo mille CReality, Lowery, Buffy
he will certainly gather you
on the day of judgment about which there is no doubt.
Look at how Allah describes the Day of Judgment. He will certainly without a doubt gather you on that day about which there is no doubt that Allah ends the eye by saying, well men, US dako mean Allah He Hadith who is more or whose word is more truthful than that of Allah?
And then in verse 122, of Surah Nisa, Allah says, regarding Jana, when Medina Amman, WA middle Saudi hottie Santa Clara, whom Jannetty tragedy mentality hull and how to holiday and if you have
those who believe and do good deeds, we will soon admit them into gardens, under which rivers flow to stay in there forever. And then Allah says, why the law he helped call where the law he haka. And Allah has proved Allah's promise is always true. And then Allah and one min us Doku Mina Allah He Akela
woman, US duck will mean Allahu Allah, and whose word is more truthful than that of Allah.
And so what all of this teaches us is that
we should have certainty
in Allah subhanho wa Taala and in what Allah has sent.
And so what Allah has sent
of his message in the Quran,
it is the truth
without even an iota of doubt.
Finally, the last lesson that we can mention is
that knowing that Allah subhanho wa Taala and what he has promised
is the absolute truth? What should it do? It should basically push one to work hard for the day in which you will meet Allah subhanahu Uttara.
That meeting which is true,
because it is coming without a doubt.
And so how do you prepare for a day?
An important day that you know is very near.
For example, you have an exam coming up, it's an important day.
How would you prepare for it?
The day of your marriage is an important day. How would you prepare for
the day in which you're going to meet someone important? How would you prepare for it? The day in which you're going to be interviewed for a job? How would you prepare for such days?
You would prepare
by getting ready for it.
Because you know it's near
and you know, with certainty that it's coming, even though these days
are not 100% certain that it will happen. How many times do our appointments get canceled?
How about the day that you will meet Allah subhanahu ATOD.
And that's why Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us
that unfortunately, most of us, we look at that day as being very far
in the home yacht owner who bet he then won a Royal Caribbean. They look at it as being very far in the distant in the distant future. Whereas we look at it as being something very near. And so it's very near, it's coming up very soon. What have you prepared for it?
And so knowing that it is a truth, and that it will happen without a doubt, and that it is a D that will never be canceled? That appointment is not one that will ever be canceled,
should make us should push us to prepare for it. How do we prepare for it by basically
doing what Allah subhanho wa Taala has commanded? And what he has told us that will make us successful on that day, and staying away from what he has told us that will make us losers. On that day. We ask Allah Subhan Allah to Allah to make us from among those who
prepare to meet him Subhanahu wa Taala and we ask Allah to grant us beneficial knowledge, especially concerning His names and his attributes or Salallahu salam ala Nabina Muhammad, while early he also can be here, marine was Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
