reminds her that this woman is her mother.
She is due her honor and respect, and
if she gives you a gift to give
her a better gift SubhanAllah.
In this season of gift giving and Christmas,
I would like to remind you,
to share with your coworker, with your neighbor.
If they give you a gift, give them
a gift.
And a reminder that Isa ibn Maryam,
he was born by a virgin whose name
was Mary.
That he was sent as a reformer
to straighten
what had become crooked
among the practice of faith.
And to remind them about the poverty
that he was born into.
And that the prophet was
born as an orphan.
That in this time, we should be thinking
about the less fortunate people in our community.
That perhaps,
by this reminder,
their hearts might be joined in faith, and
that they might live a righteous life.
Well alhamdulillah,
I would like to remind you all, SubhanAllah,
that I'm not inviting you to celebrate Christmas.
I'm inviting you to remember,
Isa ibn Maryam
to your neighbor, and don't make up a
story.
Share with them, the beautiful story of Isa,
as it is listed in the Quran.
And let them decide as the people
who the prophet
sent his companions to Ethiopia,
and when they met a just king, who
was giving sanctuary to them possibly,
that Jafar read from the Quran,

of Isa ibn Mariam.
And his heart was softened and he gave
safe haven to the believers.

invite your neighbor by giving them the gift
of the Quran.
