Bismillah, assalamu. Alaikum. A
final note for this beautiful month of Ramadan, for all those
who were leading tarawih
normalcy and needs, it is normal and expected that some amongst us
may feel a bit disoriented and lost we were intensely preoccupied
with preparation for the taraweeh every night, and we did so for
four weeks. We got used to what was expected, and we got into a
routine, and now it all came to an abrupt end and stop and halt. So
we have to be productive, use our time correctly and not go to that
which is the easiest and accessible and then waste our
time.
We need to do certain things. And there are five needs that I would
love to suggest. Firstly, we need to show gratitude. Alhamdulillah
is the least we can say from the bottom of our hearts to thank
Allah subhana wa Taala for having afforded us the opportunities he
has, and having enabled us to see the responsibility through to its
end.
So alhamdulillah with every prayer before and after and as much as we
can.
And then afill Allah seeking Allah's forgiveness for any
discrepancies, for any shift in our intentions and for any
shortcomings keeping us in our places working towards humility,
for it is not us. It is only through him, Jala jalalu, that we
found ourselves doing what we did and able to do it in the manners
in which we were enabled to
and then number three, the third need, would be praying for
acceptance, obviously, because it would be sad if, after all the
anxiety and effort and
strife
and concerns, it would be sad if, after all that we went through, we
were not eligible for acceptance. So we pray for eligibility for
acceptance,
for all the efforts and for what was rendered in the in the in the
Salah. And
then number four,
it was a lot on our minds, a lot on our emotions, a lot on our
bodies. We need some time out. You need to find a way to relax, just
clear your mind, just settle your emotions, and just give your body
some rest. Go for a walk. Do some grounding or earthing. That is
where you
stand a walk bare feet on some naked Earth
find some way just to
calm down and reconnect with yourself. Because it was a lot on
your on your being. It was a lot on your mind, your emotions and
your body,
and hopefully, on your spirit, on your roar, there was some
elevation and growth and illumination. But you need some
time out.
And then lastly, the fifth need, is to make a a an intention,
to continue to spending some quality time with the Quran,
learning from any errors we may have made and any lessons we may
have acquired along the way, so that we can do better. If Allah
affords us another Ramadan ahead, and may he afford us many more
ramadans, amen only those who have led can understand what is
required. So I pray for you all,
and your efforts are appreciated by your communities.
May Allah take you from strength to strength. Take us all from
strength to strength. Everything we experience affects us, and this
experience of leading to our way is no different. We cannot explain
it or share it with anyone
in words. It has to be experienced, and it is noted by
Allah subhanaw wa Taala made count heavily on the scales in the
akhirah, and may Allah count us all amongst thee through
companions of His Word, those worthy of His intercession in the
year after Amin. And there's always room for improvement. So
stick with it one day at a time, recite by a colleague, recited by
your teachers. Listen back to your own recordings to see where you
could have improved, for if anything deserves the best of our
efforts at enhancement and refinement, it will be the book of
Allah.
Keep well and have a beautiful read. Was Salaam Alaikum Mohammed
Allah Abu.
