Iqbal Gora – The Cry of the Mothers of Gaza Allah is Sufficient for Us
AI: Summary ©
The speakers discuss the past week's events, including the prevalence of abuse and abandonment among Muslim brothers and sisters, the use of negative language in media coverage, and the importance of remembering the Quran and letting fear and confusion dominate one's actions. They also discuss the use of Phone-Max during the global crisis, the importance of protecting religion and deen, and the importance of creating a TikTok reel and YouTube video to speak about the situation. The segment emphasizes the corruption that occurred during the first temple and the promise of power twice, and suggests finding precedent for this in the future.
AI: Summary ©
Brothers and sisters, all of us are painfully
aware of the past week, of what we
are seeing happening to our Muslim brothers and
sisters in Al Asha. We are seeing them
being bombed. We are seeing hospitals being bombed.
We are seeing churches even more
thousands and thousands upon them being displaced, over
a 1000000 of them are being asked to
leave their homes, We are seeing them being
deprived of the basic basic necessities of life,
the basic elements of kindness, of water, of
food, and of drink. And we see war
crime after war crime become being committed upon
our Muslim brothers and sisters.
Now on this point, if an individual
is from among those people that is constantly
checking the news and not able to sleep
and perhaps not able to work or focus
or even enjoy things and they are obsessed
and by this particular issue, then on this
moment or on this point understand that this
in actuality
is a sign of your iman. The Prophet
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam he tells in a hadith
that
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he tells us
in this hadith that the example or the
similitude of a believer
in terms of their compassion and their
and their kindness and their care for their
fellow Muslim brother is like that of a
body, that one part of it is hurt
then the rest of it is awake all
night, meaning they have sleepless nights and in
a state of fever. All of us find
ourselves being grieved by this, and understand that
if you're
becoming one of those that is being obsessed
and constantly checking, this is a sign of
your iman. However, when we see this and
we see all of this oppression that we
have already discussed,
and this is even further
compounded
by the fact that the media is constantly
lying in regards to the truth. We find
that politicians
are eating up this lie as well and
presenting it as the truth. The truth is
being presented as falsehood falsehood. Falsehood is presented
as the truth. The oppressor is being seen
as the oppressed, and the oppressor is now,
portraying themselves
as being the oppressed party. When we see
this, this can frustrate any individual
and on this point, let us be reminded
about those words that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
mentions that all of the greatest Ambiya alai
musulat wa salam all mentioned at one point
in their life. The ulul aazm, those of
firm resolve, the 5 greatest anbiya of Allah
subawata'ala
in their moment of darkness, in a moment
of distress, all of them they mention this
one particular phrase. All of these ambiya
of Nuh alaihis salam, of Ibrahim alaihis salam,
of Aisha alaihis salam, of Musa alaihis salam,
and of Muhammad sallallahu alaihis salam at these
particular points in history when they were distressed,
they mentioned the words, HasbunAllahu
alaihiamalwakeer.
Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is
the best of protectors
and
distributor
or
one that makes the affairs right. Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala is
We make it such that we say Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala enough is sufficient for us.
He is our protector and He will make
everything right. Now, on this point, let us
also understand and go into when exactly the
Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
mentioned this part, this particular statement in his
life. It's mentioned in regards to Ibrahim alaihi
salam that when he was thrown into the
fire and it became barudan wasalama. We all
know about this story. In this instance, Ibrahim
alayhis salam he said,
that Allah is,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is sufficient for me
and He is the best of protectors. Baba
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam after the battle of Uhud
after the battle of Uhud was another expedition
which is known as Hamrul Asad. This particular
instance in which the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
and the Sahabr radiallahu anhu Majma'in,
they were defeated at Uhud. All of us
know this story, and in this instant they
were thinking that perhaps the mushrikeen are now
going to use an opportunity
to now go into Medina and finish off
the Muslims there. So they were somewhat concerned
about what could potentially take place in this
instant, and one of the Sahaba by the
name of Nureem ibnoo Masrud, he mentions the
Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam some words that are
recorded in the Quran. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
says
That it is mentioned that this particular individual,
Nuraem ibnu Masrud, he says that the people,
the people here were being referred to as
Abu Sufyan and and his army.
They are gathering and they are going to
wage war against you. They are putting all
of their might together, all of their propaganda,
all of the armies together are now going
to come and take over the Muslimi.
Now in this instant, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
he mentions what a believer will do.
Why are they doing this to perhaps make
you fear, make you feel powerless? Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala mentions in regards to the believer
what happens to him.
For this person, his iman
actually gets raised and if you find yourself
in this instance when you are seeing everything
that is happening in Palestine and you found
yourself your iman
got higher, and you became closer to Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala, again, this is what the
ayah is talking about, and this is the
muslimeen. As much as the Imites try to
scare us
with their f 30 fives and f 15s
and all of the,
bombs that they are dropping, the jay dam
bombs that they are dropping upon the Muslimin
in those particular regions given to them by
oppressive states. Those that have no morality
are giving this to them. At the end
of the day, this will not scare a
believer, but rather we sell, we see for
the believer, fazadahum
imana. Their iman actually increases, and what do
they say?
Allah is sufficient for us and the best
of protectors.
Now on this point as well, let us
look into other instances in which a person
might see atrocities,
and atrocity is being committed en masse, and
when a person should look into the Quran
and remind themselves of the Quran and say
these particular words as well of
When it comes to rulers, they might feel
as though they are doing things with a
sense of impunity,
that there is nothing, no repercussion for their
actions and remind ourselves with the words of
the Quran.
That Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is not forgetful.
Whatever happens, this He will record in your
book and you will definitely see it. Allah
Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala says,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, He is not heedless,
He is not ignorant of what the oppressors
are doing, He is simply delaying them until
a day in which their eyes will stare
in horror. A person might think that because
of their status as perhaps a previous president
or something to that effect, they are, they
are going to be,
immune to any type of international criminal court
in The Hague. Nobody can touch me because
of my status. I am protected.
At the end of the day, remember there's
a real criminal court, and that criminal court
is Yawmul Qiyamah. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
He will certainly expose them and everything that
they have done.
On that day, they will be presented with
everything that they did.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mentions in the Quran,
for a person who has been in the
Quran, for a person who has been in
the Quran, for a person who has been
in the Quran, for a person who has
been in the Quran, On that day as
well, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mentions in the
Quran for a person that had a lot
of power or money and they were using
this to abuse others and protect themselves, Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says,
on that day their money will not benefit
them.
That power that he had is no longer
there, all of this is now over, all
of this power that they had is now
over. Now we also see another instance of
arrogance that we see from those particular people.
There is a clip in which Biden actually
mentions when he is asked about the fact
that can we sustain a war in the
Ukraine and also at the same time sustain
now a new front and a war in
the Middle East. Is it possible for us
to do this? What was his response? He
said
that we are the United States, we are
the greatest military the world has ever known
in history. This is what he mentions. Now
the Quran mentions people that have this quality
within them. In fact, it mentions a specific
group of them and he says that those
people, what did they say? Man asherduminaqooah.
Who is stronger than us in might? And
this was the Qum of 'ad and Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala reminds him, reminds them that
he is stronger than them and we see
no remnant of 'ad. And this is a
warning for those that have this type of
arrogance that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mentions in
the Quran.
Quran. It does not mean that one nation
will always be on top.
After a period of years, things will certainly
shift, things will certainly change, and that is
the sunnah of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala in
this dunya. A person might also say that
I feel immune
and can lie blatantly
lie blatantly and openly, and there's nothing people
can do, and they'll swallow up by propaganda,
and I can just do this without any
repercussion.
On this point as well, remember something else.
A person might claim, for example, the issue
of beheaded babies, and that was proven to
be a lie even by the White House.
We all know this. And now a person
might claim that they did not target a
hospital even though we know it's evidently true.
And countries, including our own, swallow this up
and take it as though it was a
truth. They take this, and they swallow it
up and portray it as though it was
a truth, and very easily. And again, as
Muslims, we don't need to know, we know
already who the perpetrator is in this. But
if you were to simply look at a
JDAM missile, which is provided to them by
the United States, see the sound signature and
the explosion,
compare that with what you see at the
hospital. You can do this on YouTube and
then do the same with the Hamas rocket.
Any person, any child, any person without really
any background in ammunition or understanding or an
ammunition expert, they will be able to tell
you the fact that this was this type
of missile and we know this and they
know this as well. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
mentions in the Quran,
Oh people of the book, why are you
why are you covering up falsehood with truth
and concealing the truth even though you know
that it is the truth from within? But
nonetheless, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he will expose
this on the day of judgment, and that
gives us contentment as a believer.
Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, He will expose us on
that day. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says,
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knows the one that
is truthful and he knows the individual that
is a liar.
Now on this point as well, they might
be claimed they might claim to be truth
in terms of their morality and their positions
as well. And on this point, Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala in the Quran, He specifically gives
the Jewish nation a challenge. He gives them
a challenge and from this challenge you can
tell who is truthful and who is lying.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says in the Quran,
and by the way in regards to what
they are doing, we understand everything that they
were doing that shows their cowardice.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentions this in the
Quran as well.
In regards to cowardice,
he says,
that they will not fight you together, but
rather they will fight you from behind a
wall or a fortified
fortress.
And we see it is very easy to
be in a plane and press buttons and
kill children, but to come on the ground
and actually face people, that is something they
will not do. And this shows the fact
that they are cowards. And now we also
see something else as well. Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala gives them a challenge, and from this
challenge, any person will be able to tell
who is truthful and who is lying. Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says in regards to them
because they claim to be the children of
they claim to be the people of God,
They can't claim to be the chosen people
of God. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala gives them
a challenge in the Quran.
He says Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala gives this
particular people a challenge in in the Quran.
He says, If
you are the chosen people of God, then
wish for death if you are truthful. Why
do you wish to live in this world?
Wish for death if you are truthful.
But they will never wish for death ever
because they know what they've done with their
own hands, and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he
is well aware of the oppressor. Now contrast
this to a believer, contrast this to a
believer that understands
the value of shahada, and we see those
brave individuals in Gaza that have all of
this happened to them,
and when the person passes away, they proclaim
that this person has now become a shahid.
A person understands the value of this, and
we look into the ahadith,
something we see as well. A person might
try to blockade them and block them of
all sorts of water and of rizq, and
of food, and of bread, and all of
these things. But Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says,
That do not think that those that have
died in the path of Allah are dead,
rather they are alive and Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala is giving them sustenance. For those individuals,
look at this particular story, and we need
to be from those that revise these stories
because for the longest time, the west has
gaslit us into what we believe in terms
of defending our deen and our religion.
They have made us feel a certain way,
whereas at the same time, they have committed
atrocity after atrocity, killing over a 1000000 people
in Iraq. And the prophet
told us before the Geneva Convention even existed,
before it was even conceptualized,
when those individuals were looking into cities in
Japan in the world in World War 2
and looking at which city we can cause
the most
civilian casualties, and they chose Hiroshima and Nagasaki
on that particular premise. Before all of this,
before the Geneva Convention, the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam, nahan Nabi salaam al qatlasibyanunisa.
The prophet salaam forbade the killing of women
and children. And on this point,
we understand that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala with
this particular challenge, we can tell who is
the truthful individual. For the believer, when he
truly understands, he will see those ahadith which
mention how Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will sustain
that person in Jannah. You might deprive them
on food for on for food shortly in
this dunya, but that is a minor inconvenience
because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala he mentions for
that person that fought for the sake of
Allah and truly died on upon the truth
in that nature, meaning that they were doing
it with the correct conditions and in the
correct manner. For the person that perhaps a
wall fell over him, for those children that
perhaps had a wall fall over them, Sahibul
Hadam, as is mentioned one of the categories
of shahada, of martyrdom. For those particular children,
it is mentioned in the hadith
that those people will be resurrected, and they
will be in Jannah in the form of
a green bird, and they will be hanging
on lanterns which will be connected to the
Arsh of Allah
and they will go around Jannah eating and
drinking whatever it is that they want. And
Allah
will ask those people that, is there anything
more that you want? And they will say,
we are contented, there's nothing more you could
even dream of asking for, except for one
thing, that we wish to go back and
die again for your sake. And that is
again what subhanahu wa ta'ala is telling us
in regards to our deen, and this again
shows the fact that we as Muslims have
a different perspective. Look at those individuals, if
you know for a fact that what you
are fighting for is true, then you don't
fear to meet your
creator. However, if you are in the on
the contrast, and you contrast this with a
person that knows what they are doing is
oppression,
and they fear dying, as those individuals camped
outside the Gaza are doing right now, they
don't want to lose a single soldier, they
are afraid. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he mentions
in the Quran,
that he put fear into their hearts. They
are afraid of going in because of the
fact that they know at the end of
the day, as much as they claim they're
the chosen people of God, they are not.
And you can see from this where the
truth in actuality lies.
We see from this example as well that
a person might have killed a child, and
on Yawmul Qiyamah, that child will actually be
resurrected.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said,
That child will be questioned for what sin
were you killed? And the retribution for that
will be enormous. Imagine the fear of that
person when they were killing a multitude of
children not just 1 by pressing a button
and sending bombs upon this person.
That we say we suffice ourselves with Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, not with any international criminal
court, but rather with our creator, and he
is sufficient for us as a protector because
that is what we believe as Muslims. We
might see also in this scenario, the cowards
that are not willing to speak out about
the truth, whether it be Muslim leaders, or
whether it be western leaders that are under
the payroll and are embarrassed, are are are
basically cowards, and their souls have been bought,
For those people as well- as well, we
say
The Muslim Ummah will be a testimony against
you on that day because we we find
by and large the people
are in support of of alleviating them of
the oppression, but the rulers are not. We
also see in another instance as well for
those particular people that might be preventing them
from water. SubhanAllah, look at the hadith which
mentioned that if you have excess water and
you stop it and you don't allow another
person to have it, what the punishment will
be? But Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he says,
4 punishments
for 3 individuals who have committed a set
of sins.
What are those sins? The first one is
for a person,
the first sin or for the first punishment
will be that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will
not look at them. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
will not look at them. He will not
talk to them. He will not purify them
of the evil that they have done, and
for them is a painful punishment, and one
of those people mentioned among those 3 is
one that prevents another person from water when
they have it. We have all heard this
story about the woman or the lady who
had a,
cat, and she caged this cat and did
not let it food or drink or to
even hunt the animals of the earth and
how she was thrown into jahannam. Imagine that
for a cat, that was her punishment. Now
consider that for 2,100,000
people, Hasbun Allah waniarmalwakeer.
We also see in a similar instance how
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala took a person
that fed a dog, gave him some water
because he was thirsty. He found a dog
who was also thirsty. He gave that dog
some water, and how Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's
mercy descended upon that particular person. Hasfun Allah
waniyaamalwakeel.
This is meant to give a person some
level of contentment. When we see this level
of hypocrisy and evil being committed against our
Muslim brothers throughout the world. Now in terms
of what it is that we can do,
the first point to understand is that Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, he promises in the Quran.
He promises in the Quran the fact that
that Baytul Maqdis will return to the Muslimen.
And this is mentioned in the first and
second page of Surat Al Isra, primarily the
first. We mentioned the details of this in
last Khutbah, but one part which is very
relevant here is that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
says that
He has given Bani Israel,
a promise that you will cause corruption in
the land twice. The first of which is
mentioned is that after the construction of the
first temple, in the time of Suleyman alayhi
salaam,
that they were given power there, and there
were people that were oppressed under Fir'awn. Then
they had power, and they became the oppressors,
and thereafter Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala destroyed them
with Buqht and Nasr in the year 600,
which is known as
first temple. That was the first instance of
corruption and facade they caused on the earth,
and
That is something which happened as mentioned by
the Quran. Thereafter Allah mentions He will give
them a second chance. And in this instance
He says,
If you do good, that is for yourself.
You were oppressed in the holocaust,
and again you are people that were oppressed,
and now we are giving you power.
We have given you all of the world
and everything it has to offer.
Now it is up to you.
If you do good, it is for yourself.
If you do evil, that is for yourself
as well.
That when the second promise comes,
your faces will scowl on account of 8
people.
Those people will enter the Masjid, which Masjid
is this? Masjid
Just as he entered it the first time,
and everything that you have built up will
all collapse. Now the point being here is
that if we want victory from Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala, we need to enter Baytul Maqdis
as we did the first time. Under whom?
Under the command of Amirul Mumineen or Umlukhutab
because we will enter it just as we
entered the first time. The first point here
is to become one that is closer to
Allah
This moment should make a person wake up
and realize the truth and come back to
Islam, Because Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says,
It is a right that Allah Subhanahu He
helps the believer. How can you make dua
for your Muslim brothers and sisters in Gaza,
and you are a sinner? Become one that
is upright, and Allah
he will help you and the Ummah in
turn. Also here, let us be from those
that makes as much dua as we can.
Even
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, he mentions that the
prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam, he made much
dua, especially on the instances in which those
killed the Muslimeel. The famous example of the
well of Maroonah, Bir Maroonah, wherein his mention
of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam,
he was asked by a number of people
from some tribes that were known as the,
theqwan and rial. These tribes, he asked the
Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam that we need some
assistance. Give us some men. The prophet
gave him 70 men. They were called al
Qur'a, these to recite the Quran at night.
Those individuals were betrayed, and at the point
known as
they were slaughtered. After this,
for a period of a month, the prophet
he
made dua against them in the,
in in what is known as
or the,
the that you would do perhaps at the
time of Fajr, and he would make a
curse against those particular individuals. As Muslims, the
general rule is we don't curse.
We are not sent to be people that
curse. When the prophet was stoned at Taif,
he did not curse the people. However, when
they killed 70 people, then he did curse
those people. So it depends on the particular
context. We also see
here that we need to be from those
that mentions our concern. If you look at
the globe, generally speaking, most actual people are
in support of the Palestinian cause because they
understand truth from falsehood. They understand, and they
see oppression where it is. And the point
being here is to make your voices loud.
But prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, he mentions
in Hadith,
that fight the disbelievers with your tongue, with
your money, and with yourselves as well. So
be from those that speaks about it as
much as you can. To your non
Muslim, colleagues, to your Muslim colleagues, post about
it online. Make a story, make a TikTok
reel, make a YouTube video, speak about it
as much as you can, and change the
narrative that is out there, and this will
seek to insha Allah change the perspective of
what we are seeing. Even when it comes
to, for example, the mushrikeen looking at numbers,
this will make it such that they think
twice. When the disbelievers see the number of
Muslims, And we have to ask ourselves and
tell ourselves and remind ourselves that Muslims are
found are to be found on every city
on earth. There is no nuclear bomb that
will get rid of us. We are found
on every single city on earth, and when
they see our numbers, this should cause fear
in them and perhaps make them second guess
or think twice about oppressing our Muslim brothers
and sisters. Now the point here is we
also find precedent for this in the seerah
of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam of coming
out in large numbers to make people afraid
of us. What is the proof of this?
The mush the the the mushakeen, when they
had the upper hand at at Uhud, they
were kind of starting to think that perhaps
we can go to Madinah and eliminate the
remaining Muslims.
And when this happened, then the prophet
he was somewhat afraid for this, and the
prophet
he camped out at a particular place. He
camped out at a particular place and he
asked the sahaba to light 500 fires to
make it seem as though the Muslims have
reinforcements
and perhaps make them second guess about actually
coming and attacking Medina. So there is some
virtue actually from the Sira of the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam of coming out in large
numbers, but understand we need to do all
of these things within the light of Islam
and within the,
the principles of Islam. Don't make it something
based on nationality. This is not a Palestinian
issue, but this is an Islamic issue. Be
from one that also concerns himself about not
falling into Haram and doing things that are
Haram, but at the end of the day,
showing Muslims in large numbers shows strength of
the Umma, and this might make, perhaps, deter
those that wish to harm us from
from perhaps thinking thinking twice in this regard.
We ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to assist
our Muslim brothers in Gaza. We ask Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to alleviate their difficulty. We
ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to make us
from those that does our part in alleviating
their difficulty wherever it is that we can
with our tongues, with ourselves, and our own
bodies,
and also with whatever means it is that
we can. We ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
to grant this Ummah 'izzah again. We ask
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to return
to us again.
