15th night of shabaan that one is compelled to accept that this night does hold some kind of

that one has to accept that there is something there. There's something in this night. That is why

			mentions the same thing that yes the narrations coming to us a week. But there are so many
narrations that one is compelled to accept that this night does hold significance. What to do in
this night, whether to fast or not fast. It is a different topic of its own. inshallah we'll talk
about that later on. But
		

			if we are gathered here then we have gathered for a reason. And the reason is to get closer to Allah
subhanho wa Taala in this night, because it holds significance.
		

			Respected elders and friends.
		

			Now how can one benefit from this night? And how is this night blessed at night? How is this night a
blessed at night? You know the best way a believer can benefit from this night is by asking for
forgiveness from Allah subhanho wa Taala.
		

			Why? Because there are so many narrations regarding forgiveness in this night. It comes in a
narration prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that in this night, Allah subhanho wa
Taala gazes at his creation, he looks at his creation. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala forgives
each and every creation except for two except for to number one, an idolater a person who has to
ascribe partners with Allah subhanho wa Taala. Number two, a person who has to harbor ill feelings
regarding another brother in his heart. These are the only two people not forgiven in this night.
And this comes in the generation of Muslims. According to another generation, everyone is forgiven
		

			in this night, except for two number one was to harbor ill feelings regarding another brother.
Number two, a mother is not forgiven in this night. So there is one thing common in these two Heidi

that I forgive? Is there someone to ask for prosperity? So I grant him prosperity, prosperity, is
there someone to ask for relief in his struggles? So I grant him relief from his struggles. So if a
person has financial issues, this is the night if a person thinks he has transgressed, he has broken
all the commandments of Allah subhanho wa Taala. This is the night if a person thinks he's going
		

			through struggle, nothing seems to be right. This is the night and Subhanallah there are many other
narrations regarding other nights with the same weddings that Allah subhanho wa Taala comes on the
on the first sky and he asks the same question, but in those narrations it is mentioned that Allah
tala only does that in the third part of the night at the time of tahajjud. But when it comes to 15
night of Shabbat, Allah subhana wa Taala starts making this announcement from Muslim which we
already performed to tomorrow fudger inshallah.
		

			So, that is the significance of this night and we are supposed to understand one thing from all
these narrations let us reconcile with Allah subhanho wa Taala today, let us return to Allah
subhanho wa Taala today, no matter how many commandments of Allah subhanho wa Taala we have broken

to come to cover to ask for forgiveness. Wherever you are, in whatever condition you are, just say
Allah I have transgressed. Well ALLAH forgive my sins and Allah says, I will forgive. Allah says, I
will forgive. That is the first thing. The second thing. There are many questions we receive. And it
is that what are we supposed to do in this night? What actions are we supposed to perform in this
night? There is no particular authentic narration which talks about a particular action that we are
		

			supposed to perform this Salah or we are supposed to do this ibadah there is no such narration. Yes,
a person should try and seek forgiveness of Allah subhanho wa Taala by performing Salah by
performing optional prayers and inshallah Allah subhana wa Taala accepted Allah subhanho wa Taala we
accepted. The third question which we normally received is that what are we supposed to do tomorrow?
Are we supposed to fast on the 15th of Shaban, then let us understand that again, there is no
particular narration which talks about only fasting on the 15th of Shabbat. It was a practice of
Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam too fast on the 14th 15th and 16th of every month not
		

			only in Siobhan, but in Siobhan prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to fast a lot, he
used to fast a lot and the reason why he used to fast a lot, which he has mentioned is that in the
month of Siobhan the annual deeds of a believer are presented in front of Allah subhanho wa Taala.
So, Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam used to say that when my deeds are presented in front of
Allah subhana wa Taala I want that they are presented while sign fasting, that is why he used to
fast a lot a lot in the month of Shabbat. So, if a person is in entailing a fasting tomorrow, then
he should fast on the 15th and 16th in any other day inshallah, okay. So, that is the that is the
		

			masala regarding fasting on the 15th of Shabbat. This was related to 15th of Shabbat and we we
normally get this information every year, we are all aware about it, it is not something new. But
there is another thing which is always mentioned whenever a buyer is given regarding 15th of

			also mentioned, other few groups like a person who has to disobey his parents is not forgiven in

in this slide. You know, let us understand this why it is so important that Allah Allah is not
saying that in this night. Everyone is forgiven except for the person who misses his Salah, or who
doesn't. First, let's only talk about good conduct and character. Why? Let us understand this.
		

			In the beginning period of Islam, when prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam started
preaching Deen he was asked mal Islam. What is the definition of Islam? prophet muhammad sallallahu

the pillars, he is not going to say this is my house. He's going to say this house is under
construction. My house is under construction or someone is building a hospital. If only the pillars
are in place. They are not going to say this is a hospital. They're going to say this hospital is
under construction. Now let us come to the towards the end of the life of Prophet Muhammad
		

			sallallahu alayhi wa sallam prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in his final Hajj says

qualities of good conduct and character 360 branches of good conduct and character. If a person has
one of them in Him, He will enter into Jannah
