Once he was fighting on the battlefield after the Prophet passed away, they were fighting in the
battlefield in Turkey in present day Turkey. And him and the Muslims were fighting. And during this

would fight in lines. So as you're fighting your enemies in front of you, but to your side, and
behind you are people who are on your own side, this man plunged himself deep into the enemy
territory. So he was surrounded by his enemy, and he fought valiantly and bravely but he was, of
		

			course, ultimately killed. When the Muslims saw this man do this, some of them said, What's wrong
with this man, he destroyed himself. And they mentioned the verse from the Quran where Allah Subhana
Allah says, well, to COVID, a deacon in attack Luca, do not throw yourselves by your own hands into
your own destruction. So they said, Look, the man threw himself by his own hands into his own
destruction. There's no way he was going to survive fighting this enemy on his own, Abu but unsalted

			to them the situation. He said, when we were in Medina, after people began to accept Islam after the
conquest of Mecca, and many, many people began to enter into Islam. Some of the unsought met
together secretly in a private home. And we had a conversation amongst each other. And we said to
each other, we've given a lot for the sake of Islam. You know, we gave a lot of our money, we fought
in battles, we sacrificed a lot. They said, Now other people are becoming Muslim. It's our turn to
take care of our businesses. It's our turn to take care of our homes. So they said, you know, we're
going to stop giving so much we're going to stop giving to for the sake of Allah, we're going to
		

			start building up our homes, building up our business is taking care of ourselves. Now, let the new
Muslims that new people have accepted Islam, let them sacrifice let them give. They have this
meeting in secret, and they came out of the home and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to
them, did you just meet that you guys say such and such? They were amazed? How could the Prophet
salallahu alaihe salam know this one they just met and they met in secret. And the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to them, Allah has revealed this verse. What

this verse give for the sake of Allah give for the sake of Allah. What? toolable VAD, Camila,

brothers Allah who had explained to the Muslims, he said what Allah meant by this verse is that when
we stop giving for the sake of Allah when we stop sacrificing for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala
This is what causes our own destruction. This is what causes the destruction of the community. This
is what causes the destruction of the oma and that if we want the oma to be protected, and if we
		

			want the Islam to flourish, that we have to give, we have to sacrifice our time our sweat, our
efforts, our money for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So he explained to them if we want to
prevent ourselves from being thrown into our own destruction by our own hands, we have to constantly
give and to sacrifice for the sake of Allah subhana wa Tada.
