they hit them. So then the servants are say, you know, they change their stories and Okay, okay, we came with the caravan. So then they say, okay, where's the caravan? Now? They say, we don't know what to care about. We came with an army. So they start hitting them again. The Prophet comes across the scene when he arrives back. So he starts yelling up the Sahaba. He tells him What's wrong with you that they tell you the truth, and you hit them. And they tell you ally and you leave them. And somehow a lot, you know, all the torture that people do in this world today, all these different countries engaged in torture, all the research on torture tells us this exact point, when you
torture someone for information, you don't get accurate information. Because the person being tortured begins to understand what you want to hear. So they tell you what you want to hear. They don't tell you the truth. And so the promise I said I'm prohibitive, this so what are you doing, this is how long, you're not going to get any information from them, and the Prophet size and then ordered for the fruit food to be brought to them for them to be taken care of. And then the Prophet began asking them questions nicely. He said to them, how big is the army? They said to the Prophet, we don't know. We're servants. We don't count the army. So he sat down with the Sahaba. And he said to them, the bad news that the caravan that they wanted has gone away. There is no caravan. And there's an army coming. And what do we do? And so he said, we're behind you do as you have been commanded, we are behind you. And so the prophets of Allah where it was in them said to them, that Allah promised me the plot, if a time Allah promise me one of two things, either the caravan or the army, the caravan is gone. All we have is army. But Allah promised me we would get
victory over one of the two of them. And so the promise of the victory of Allah subhanaw taala is there he told the companions to get ready for battle,
on the way to better as they were marching there, as we said, the Muslims had very few seeds to ride on horses or camels. So they would take surance on their way there, some of them riding for a quarter of the time, then another one would ride. So a few of them came together and they said, you know, we should make the prophesies and have the camel of his own. Give him a camel, he rides it the whole way. And the rest of us will share whatever is remaining, but the profit we should respect him, give him a camel to ride on his own. So they went to the Prophet, they said, O Messenger of Allah, this camels for you, you ride this camel, we're going to take care of our own selves. And the
Prophet sallallahu edsm responded to them. And he said to them, You are not stronger. You are not physically stronger than me. For me not to walk in for you to walk. It's not like I'm weak and I need to sit on the camel. No, I'm strong, as strong as you. So if you're walking, I can walk to and he said and I am not

And so he said to the Prophet, so I said to them, You want us to fight our fathers and to fight our sons and to fight our families and our brothers. And you want us not to fight your uncle.
He said, By Allah, if I see others, I will strike him with my sword.
Now this is, you know, a clear
you know, act of rebellion against the Prophet sallallahu sallam, because the Prophet saying don't do this, and he's saying, No, I'm gonna do it. Right like what do you do if your child you tell your child not to do something? He says, No, I'm gonna do it for sure. Not that he tries not to do it and falls short. Nobody says for sure I'm going to do this. Right. And so the profits a little lower and said this is a situation where he needs to confront him. So how does he deal with it? now realize the profit size in them.
Realize if he confronts him right away and goes up to the event says, How dare you say this? How dare you say something like this, it gets into his face. Now what happens? It turns into a bigger fight and a bigger conflict and a bigger conflict. The Prophet doesn't do that. He goes to our model, he says, Omar, should the face of the uncle of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam be struck with a sword. So I'm gonna get angry. And so they still went into the battle with the long line and he was killed. And he became one of the show had that. And what's interesting for us to note is that neither side expected to fight. The Muslims, of course, did not expect an army they expected a care of that always brought an army they were prepared to fight, but they thought the Muslims would either be easily killed or that they would run away very fast. And they brought with them girls to sing and dance, and they brought with them wine and drums to beat because
they thought that Muslims would disperse quickly run away from them.
