The speaker discusses the importance of knowing
AI: Summary ©
O precious due to Allah rubulalamin
for His blessing and His mercy.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
give us a deep understanding
about Kadok and Kadoro,
so that whatever happened to us,
we would not
ask why,
except have some patience
and ask amongst Muhammadu Wa Ta'la for His
guidance.
In sha Allah,
we will start our day again
with the morning
prayer recommended by our Prophet, Son of a
sallam.
All of you may have been
reciting this prayer, but just a humble reminder
because
allah said, wazakirfa'ina
Reminding each other always bring benefit to the
believers.
I will recite slowly, hope everybody will try
their best to follow.
We never fail asking Allah for His blessing,
for His mercy, for His forgiveness,
and we keep on asking Allah to protect
all of us
from all
the viruses,
the danger,
the difficulty
in life,
and also in our ending,
and to save us from the torment of
the grave and the torment of hellfire.
We always remind ourselves the importance
to acknowledge
who is Allah.
In whatever happened in our life,
we never abandoned Allah.
We may abandon friends,
family,
jobs, but not Allah.
And we always remind ourselves that we are
so blessed.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala created us in the
best form
and made us
among the best creations of our law,
and he gives us the best law,
the divine law that is Islam.
Meaning,
we are so blessed that Allah gives us
a guidance,
show us
how to live,
how to eat, how to drink,
how to have a family,
how to educate our children,
how to take care of our well-being,
and everything.
How to communicate with 1 another.
Everything,
all the SOP
have been laid out by Allah.
And there is Islam,
a way of life.
You
know, we are humans until today asking
for something
that can help them,
guide them to do what is right
and protect them from all the problems
that humans have created.
We create a lot of our own problems.
Then we ask Allah, mbala and Amin,
to make us among the followers of Prophet
Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam
because
only the follower of the Prophet
Muhammad
was granted by Allah,
as a best nation.
The best nation is a nation
who have the best lifestyle.
When they talk, they use the best word.
When they look for friends, they always look
for best friends,
best environment.
When they eat, they look for best food,
best drink, everything best.
We know there is a saying we are
what we eat.
If you're not careful with your food,
then you know what can happen to your
body.
If you're not careful with your friend,
then you know you have a lot of
problems.
You will be very upset
when you have a friend who betrayed you,
a friend who is not there for you.
But when
they need your help, they look for you.
But when you need them, they are not
there for you.
But if this happens,
it's a good reminder.
Nothing wrong for the believer,
because we do not know who is a
good friend.
Until something happens in life,
then we know,
oh,
you cannot trust
this friend.
So without knowing who is a good friend,
you may share a lot of your personal
matters,
private
things with your friends, and they can betray
you.
It can backfire,
yeah, into our own life.
So alhamdulillah,
when something happened before, something was happening,
then something happened
as a reminder. Okay?
So that you are very very careful.
Then we say to our wala ana means,
oh, Allah,
increase in us knowledge,
because we need knowledge, knowledge is power.
But not any knowledge,
not
opinion, not what majority is doing, not the
norm, not the culture,
but pure knowledge
is what is in the Holy Quran,
full of knowledge and information.
And also
from the sunnah of ahuvilla of prophet Muhammad.
Sunnahummaahu
alaihi wa sallam.
There is pure knowledge, uncorrupted knowledge,
And anytime
when you want to eat and drink,
you look for food, you always ask Allah
to look for the best 1.
People are coming back from Harsh.
We just came back from Harsh nearly 1
week ago.
That's how you can see my coughing, my
sound,
Because
this year, the heat is quite
my
humble experience
for more than 40 over time.
Is very hard.
But alhamdulillah,
the majority
of the figs,
they have done their best.
Yeah. That showed that nothing can stop the
believer from doing
things that Allah wants them to do.
How hot the weather, how cold the weather,
you will see
people will come
and respond to the invitation of Allah.
Alhamdulillah,
people still respond.
Yeah.
And sometimes
when the weather changes,
what is very important for all
the fulcrumation.
I always remind my team.
The first thing that you are going to
learn
when you are going to Mecca
is these 3 letters.
There is
Sodbaraw.
Sodbaraw
means patient.
You must have a lot of patience.
Many things happen,
we just don't understand why it happened.
What is happening.
Without patience,
I don't think anybody can perform harsh,
because there will be a lot of pushing,
there are a lot of quarreling,
shouting, screaming,
and if there's a lot of fighting,
then majority will go to prison,
you know, because the security is very tight.
You argue,
you don't listen, they arrest you.
And
with all the patience,
we manage to fulfill
our Hajj.
Yeah.
And most of our Jum'ah, we got the
500 over Jum'ah.
Yeah. I think still
left, 100 plus
will be on the way
back in a few days, InshaAllah.
That is the
last
group
who were there for the full package 40
days.
Yeah. And there are people who just go
2 weeks, alhamdulillah.
Now let us go back
a bit to the topic that we are
going to discuss.
Despair Not.
Today,
the subtitle is despair
not.
Before that, we talked about pause to reflect
anything happen in life.
You have no time to understand until you
pause and reflect.
You have to think,
revisit what happened.
Anything happens,
there must be a reason.
People keep on
reminding us of something because
there is a reason.
Anything happens in life
when somebody is complaining,
somebody is reminding you because there is a
reason.
A lot of people are reminding us
every day
about
the reality of life,
that he is going to put all of
us into a test.
This world is full of trial and challenges,
but
if you try your best to follow whatever
he wants you to follow,
then you can move forward.
Yeah.
All the minor minor thing,
do make it big.
Just have extra patience.
Listen. The power of listening is very very
important.
Just listen
and try to understand what went wrong.
We have been reminded
again and again, but we keep on
forgetting.
Forgetfulness
is a disease.
It is not good.
And also,
if people keep on reminding us,
it's because we don't pay attention.
When people talk to us, we just, yeah,
yeah, yeah. But
nothing
went into the mind, the hate and the
heart now.
Meaning, we are people who are very careless,
gawfelin.
So may Allah rule Al Amin guide all
of us, yeah?
Now, let us
try to understand this, but this panel, handicaps
do not prevent success.
When Allah created us,
when he ordained something is going to happen
to our body,
We are born
without this, without that.
Not normal.
There was an interview published in the Arabic
daily,
Uqas,
with a blind man named Mahmoud b Mohammad
Al Madani.
He studied books of Arabic literature through the
eyes of other,
meaning through his hearing.
Sometimes Allah is so
great, He makes somebody blind.
Majority are not blind,
but they are very very sensitive
in their hearing.
You know, they can pick up a lot
of things
and they can learn faster.
He would listen as others read to him
books of history and commentaries
on the classics.
He used to have 1 of his friends
read to him until 3 o'clock in the
morning.
Today, he is considered to be a reference
book in literature and history.
To the extent he becomes a scholar
because he has a good friend,
a friend who
feels sympathy to him
and he wants to learn.
Somebody just refused to learn. Carlos, I'm blind.
So they just gave up.
No. You still have other faculties,
other ways to seek knowledge.
And today, you will find that people come
out with
prayer,
you
know, for the blind
to learn how to read the holy Quran
and it's working very very well.
Those who have the heart, the means to
learn, there's always a way.
Don't give excuses.
Alas,
don't blame me.
God made me blind. He don't want me
to read. No. You can still read.
If you want,
Everything happens,
the wisdom behind it
is a lot of, I mean,
give the people
who
are
normal
the ability to think
how to help those who are not normal.
Our little body
give a lot of people a lot of
jobs.
That's why you have the ENT
doctor,
wound doctor, nerve doctor.
You have dentist.
So many.
Just 1 body you give so many jobs.
Fantastic, you know.
Mustafa,
I mean,
a columnist
for a shirk at Auschwitz
wrote, be patient
with oppressor
and wrongdoer
for only 5 minutes.
After a short term, the whip will fall,
the shekel
the shekel will break, the prisoner will be
released,
and the cloud will dissipate.
Upon you then is only to be patient
and to wait. And Eric Pollard
wrote, how many calamities
causes 1
to lose to those patients,
but from them,
their exit is without harm.
And they continue
sharing about what
they have collected from other scholars.
I once met the Mufti of Albania
in Riyadh.
He told me of how the ruling communist
imprisoned him with hard labor for 20 years.
While serving
his sentence in prison, he was constantly subject
to torture, darkness, and hunger.
He will secretly perform
the 5 daily prayer in the corner of
the washroom.
For fear of being caught.
Through all of these, he was patient and
anticipate
his reward with Allah
until finally
relief
came to him.
In the Quran, Allah says, so they returned
with grace and bounty from Allah,
chapter 3 verse 174.
Same to what happened
Nelson Mandela, the 1 time president of South
Africa,
who for 27
years endured imprisonment.
He sought freedom for his people
and he struggled to break off the shekel
of tyranny
and oppression.
He was steadfast,
is still calmer
and firm,
and he almost appeared to be seeking
out death.
As a result, he reaches his goal
and achieve his holy glory.
Allah,
the Exalted said
the meaning in Surah 11
was 15.
To them we shall pay in full
the wages of their deeds therein.
And Quran
4:104.
If you are suffering hardship,
then surely,
they too are suffering hardship as you are
suffering.
But you have hope from Allah for his
reward
and for the paradise that Allah
has prepared
that for which they hope not they don't
have that in their life.
Quran again,
chapter 3 verse 140.
If a wound
and killing had touched
you, be sure a similar wound and killing
had touched the other,
meaning the color of kadaro.
There is a chisels in Islam.
A wound for a wound, an eye for
an eye.
Life for an life,
ear for an ear, nose by nose.
Only it may happen from different angle
at different time.
Now when we are having a lot of
challenges,
Allah said to us,
How true the word of Allah
means.
I am going to test every 1 of
you
with fear,
of course, all these kind of torture,
imprisonment,
tyranny,
oppression,
put
all of us
in fear.
Why why
have I got to go through all this
suffering?
I'm not doing something bad. I'm fighting
for my right,
for my people's right.
But there are times
you are facing with people who don't know
what is right and what is
wrong.
They just want to show their authority.
So they used their authority to do what
they want to do.
That is the reality of life. The kho
wojuk,
the fear of
being hungry.
They don't give you enough food.
We don't have this so far, hamdunah.
You don't have even food is there, you
don't have money to buy.
So sometimes the people oppress you through that.
They do not want to send food to
you. Even you had the money, they
don't want to sell it to you.
Yeah. There are times people are
so cruel they don't they are not human
anymore.
What happened to Gaza?
People are sending food, and then they just
stop all these things.
It's not from you, it's from other people.
You can help them. Let other people help
them.
You can feed them. Let other people feed
them.
But they don't care.
They don't honor life.
They only honor their life. They thought they
only have the right to live, not others.
They also are suffering in a way
because they have to face
The people who don't give up hope,
they will have to fight.
That's why.
You have lack of money,
many of your loved ones die,
You were killed and they don't know why
they were killed. No 1 knows.
What have we done?
Children,
elderly people being killed for what reason?
Because we have people
who don't honor
basic human rights,
and the worst,
you have countries who support that kind of
action.
So called a civilized
country,
so kind,
so called civilized people,
educated,
intelligent people,
but they are all
the same.
They are not human anymore.
They consider the weak ones not human.
They are the worst.
Yeah.
So we must learn
not just looking at 1 area, look at
those who support that idea.
Whoever supports this kind of action,
they are just like them.
They are the world's number 1 terrorists,
terrorize
innocent people,
the weak ones
killing innocent children,
and they stay very proud
talking to the world.
You know, we are the great nation.
Great nations don't bully people.
Great people always
help others.
Yeah. They don't oppress people.
Allah allows something to happen.
It's not easy for normal people to understand.
May Allah reward those who were killed in
their
battle
for the right reason.
The innocent people who were killed,
Allah is sure to reward them fairly and
squarely.
Those who
died
because of fire
burning,
those who died because
of building collapse upon them
is a sign of
shahid
according to the teaching of our prophet.
May Allah
Make us among
the people who have
patience, that's why Allah said, wabashiri
sabirim,
glad tiding,
good news
for people who have sabar.
What is patient?
Alazina is a assault but homoseba
kaluinna
lilahi
ordains
something happened to them,
not that they look for that.
They plan for it it happen.
It is within our control,
and they have the patience
to move forward.
They never give up.
The test that you can see is what
happened in Kasar in our modern
time. The test of people go to Harsh
also the same.
How hot the weather.
I never experienced
that the marble floor in Medina,
normally in Makkah alhamdulillah,
even in an open area
where the white marble is, you have a
cooling kind of,
feeling. You can just tap on it and
you don't feel the heat.
The 1 without the carpet on,
outside the big Haram Mosque, you have open
area
with the white marble.
But in in Medina,
they have the marble too,
different type of marble.
They have the open umbrella
to cover the heat.
They do have carpets
but there are times, there are areas that
you don't have carpet.
So people would stand and pray.
But it caught us by surprise with doubt.
Yeah. If you don't wear
socks on, even you wear socks,
you can feel the heat
It's coming
to your feet.
If you don't move,
it may burn.
And when you make sujud,
you can feel the heat.
If the imam
forget that,
no, this is a hot weather.
You
just can't.
Yeah. So me, myself, I'm there.
When I sujood, I feel the heat.
I was holding on cannot. I just got
to pull my cap
and put it down and make sujood on
my cap
because it's too hot.
You can have half boiled egg very easily
over there,
you know.
But we never thought that thing stops us
from praying.
Yeah. Look at
the person
Abu Dhabi of Albania.
He find
an opportunity
to pray. He never missed his prayer
That is very very important
for the believers.
Obasiri
saw Biren when Amlarsim,
glad tidings good news for those who were
patient.
Meaning,
you never abandoned
all
your duty towards Allah. The minimum of the
prayer, you never abandon it.
If you ask them, they won't allow you.
You don't have to ask. You know that
is your responsibility.
If they can allow you to go to
the washroom,
then
you know
if you're given a choice,
then you should not pray in the washroom
because that is not the right place.
It is a place for you to
clean yourself.
But if there is no other choice,
then when there is a corner, you just
pray
And not like some, this is what happened
in our country.
People who are new to Islam, when you
don't
make it clear to your parents, you don't
inform them that I am going to be
Muslim.
Then if you hide your identity,
very difficult.
When you go home, you are not ready
to let them know that you are Muslim.
But you are learning how to pray.
You know how to pray now, alhamdulillah.
So there are cases that
revert used to ask
me when I asked them, how is your
prayer at home?
I prayed in the washroom.
I pray in the bathroom.
I said that is not the place for
you to pray.
Bathroom is for you to clean yourself,
wash yourself.
These are areas that the prophets do not
allow you to perform prayer.
But if you are false, that means if
you
are in a prison and all, there is
no no choice.
Allah knows.
But
nobody is going to prison you now.
You just have to be
open, be proud of who you are.
You know.
If your parent came to know that you
are praying, he said, I think they'll scold
you or he also know that is not
right. When you pray, pray a lot of
other places.
You have your room.
You don't know.
The fear is unnecessary
fear.
This fear is not
true.
It's a whispering from the Satan
to
make you weak,
Yeah. Make you weak and make you fear
for nothing.
And
So
while life
is full of trials and challenges,
but as a believer,
when you have patience and you understand
that this is all part of
the challenges, the trial, the fitan
that Allah is going to put
all of us through.
Alazina
is a is a sword but homozygous.
When any calamity,
you know,
come to us,
happen to us,
then
we just face the calamity
with patience
and say
or Inna Ilehi
or Rajun.
Every day when something happens
because Allah has ordained it to happen.
If Allah said no,
it would not happen.
But if Allah said, yes, it's going to
be happen,
it's going to happen.
So every time,
just share with you my humble experience about
Hajj
this year.
If I've been performing Hajj, bringing Jema out
years after year,
more than 40 over time,
Every year I experience different different experiences,
not the same because you come,
you face different people.
We, alhamdulillah,
stay in the most
closest hotel
to Haram.
You just come out from the door, that
is where the open clock you can pray.
Even closer than Hilton
or
the clock tower because clock tower you have
to go in
and then you go up
to the 6th floor
and then you see all the 5 star
hotel.
So it's still
a lot of
walking
because the mall is there
whereas
Tau Hei Intercontinental
Hotel
is just hotel.
No shopping complex.
Just in front of Haram.
So you walk out, you see the space
is so empty in front of you.
Of course, the mosque
is packed now.
They are stopping people from entering,
so you had to pray outside.
But in front of the hotel, it's so
empty
but they just put barricade. They just
block. They don't want you to pray there.
They divert you to the left
or to the right. You can you have
to walk maybe
a 100 over meter, 200 meters for nothing,
for no reason.
You know?
Even then when you walk
and you saw the sound is there
and the first sound is still self
paced. You see, I want to go there
and pray. No. No. No. No. You pray
there.
You see, I we we don't understand
the rationale.
We are not blocking anybody
We're not causing any traffic jam, you know,
nothing.
But they have a very weird mindset.
We just have to follow.
Yeah. Each time you come off on the
hotel, you feel like
you're like in the oven, you know, the
heat.
You know, you just want to pray and
then in
again.
We always encourage our people
in this kind of weather,
don't
move around too often
because we are not used with the intense
heat.
We are worried people will get heatstroke and
so on.
So stay in,
go out for prayer, in again.
Out. In again.
Why? Because
we
have not finished or started our hash.
After Hajj,
you want to do extra walking,
you can try.
Yeah.
Because we have finished
the ritual.
So, Alhamdulill, we keep on alerting all our
people
what you should do, what you should not
do now.
Just rest.
Keep yourself healthy
and strong
for the big day to come.
It was
something very
good happened to our group because our group
is,
splitted in many many
tens because you got about 500 old people
from different different packaging.
The only group
that use trains for Mashhad area is our
group.
The rest, they have to use buses,
GMC,
and the traffic
only among us.
If you refuse to walk just about
30 minutes, 20 minutes walk to your tent,
You want to take
GMC, it take you 3
to 5 hours.
Yeah. Very dangerous.
I mean,
you thought that, oh, I have paid so
much,
and you have agreed
my own GMC, of course they can prepare
for you. That's all the
facilities are there.
But to be practical,
we should not.
Yeah.
Just depend on all this. Just walk.
You feel healthier
and it's good.
You can reach your destination in half an
hour.
So this is something that I always remind
people.
Walking is a blessing sometimes,
not because of money. You have all the
special transport. That means you'll get,
you know,
all the VIP. Can you imagine people are
there resting and then you are still jammed
in?
Even you have
the whole GMC by yourself but,
you know, what is there when you are
caught in a gym?
But our trip,
we used to train.
The train had no jam and
0
jam,
but we were caught by surprise and this
is what we are saying, patience is very
important.
From our hotel
to go to the station
4th floor,
you have
an escalator.
After you come up from the hotel, maybe
about 7 to 10 minutes' walk,
the escalator is there.
But they do not own the escalator.
We just don't understand why.
And the trail only
functions
for 1 week in a year.
You know,
everything should be well organized.
You should have kept things organised. Normally
it's working
but this year,
our time,
they just
turned on the escalator.
So we thought maybe there will be another
way out.
So they keep on showing us
that that that that that
and we have to walk
up the stairs.
Yeah. The 4th floor, the highest.
Yeah.
That caught a lot of our
VVIP
guests
by surprise.
When the normal tent
is is at ground level, you just walk
and then you enter the tent.
Yeah.
But our our
tent is beautiful.
You get into the train, move you to
station 2
because we are all allocated
at station 2.
When you come down from the train,
you walk down 10 minutes, you
reach
a very special camp.
Yeah,
not with the Asian
mixed band with the Arabs'
hood,
Allahu
Akbar.
And you have table and chair outside open
area for you to have dining,
lunch or a lot.
Food and drink 247.
As long you are there, 247.
And the tent was good.
It's not cramped,
yeah,
and the most
beautiful experience I had for so long
is the toilet.
You know, toilet, you don't
underestimate is very important,
you know. It's more important than food, something.
Food you can survive with something,
yeah, simple.
But this year, Awa Huakbar,
from Arafa,
when we make wukwuf,
overnight in Mozelifa,
Mina,
we have
very beautiful experience in our toilet.
Can you imagine? I never
have experienced that when you want to go
to the toilet, you don't have to queue.
I never experienced that.
Full, okay, you got to be there. You
got to plan your movement.
No.
Even there's no need to go to toilet
but you can
estimate maybe in 10 minutes, I'm going. You
have to go now.
Going queue there.
Hours
in this year.
Anytime you want to go to the toilet,
there's no queue.
Yeah. It's always empty.
It's a relief.
In Muzalifa,
normally Muzalifa when you arrive, you have to
find your own space,
put the cupboard
and then you
book that area.
Nothing has been planned.
The ground is empty. Everybody arrived there. You
stop at which point that you want to
stop,
you will quickly put the carpet
and then find a place and block that
area.
But our
everything is ready.
The carpet is ready.
All the zone
for us is being secured.
And the toilet, I worry also Mozarifa toilet.
It's a 3 story toilet.
Yeah.
And it's always
anytime you go there is always,
some place that's empty for you. You don't
have a queue.
The same in me now.
You know, anytime you go, Masha'allah.
Compare with
some of the
we will be if you're in the tent,
normal tent, you have to face the toilet
issue,
yeah,
a lockdown.
He give us some test, you have to
walk up
but He give you other, yeah, privileges.
No. We are no. We are just our
own package.
To be the guest,
but
1 thing
is happening when you become the guest.
You don't have the experience
to perform harsh the way the prophet want
you to do.
When you are too comfort,
they bypass,
yeah, a lot of other things.
Yeah. That is something that
all the old scholars remind
the authority.
Don't do that.
You have to plan the way the prophet
want you
to perform the Hajj.
When the prophets
say something,
he do not just say it,
he does it by himself.
He show you what is the meaning of
what
is the meaning of wukuf.
You don't interpret
in your own way.
When the prophet said on 8th
you stay in Mina,
perform
5 prayers.
Staying in Mina
to perform 5 prayers.
Zoho,
Turukat,
Kasar,
Asar Turgat,
Magritte,
Isha Turgat,
and Fajar, you must overnight.
That's what the prophet said, move it overnight
until
fajar,
after fajar prepared
to move to Arava.
Arava
is not for you to overnight at all.
That's why you say stop
over.
Who called you to go and sleep there?
If that is better, the prophet has done
it,
you know,
but the prophet himself
does not
sleep in Arafa, just wukuf in Arafa.
Oh because of this. No. No. No.
Especially if you
are a guest,
you should be
able to do that better because
you have all the privileges.
Alhamdulillah, we never choose that. We choose to
do what the prophet want us to do
so that we are satisfied
with
our Ibadan.
We just do not want to entertain
our liking, our desire.
This Ibadan is a 1 in your lifetime
Ibadan. You want to do it do it
properly.
Yeah?
Musalifah, the same. The prophet
said, overnight
move it.
When he said overnight,
he will sleep until fragile.
Only those who have health problems,
the prophet can say after midnight you can
straight go to Mina.
Yeah. There are people who the prophet
allow.
The people who have to bring water supply
to give the people who are the guests
of Allah. They can in and out, in
and out.
Normal people,
even the prophet himself,
never
bypassed Uzalifa.
For those who are given those privileges,
you must have a reason.
You cannot tumpang uzor.
A lot of people today tumpang uzor,
you know.
I mean you miss all the
extra blessing,
you know.
Where the prophet is at that time is
where the blessing is.
He is the way.
That's why he said,
That's why Allah said,
Follow Him.
He don't call us to follow other people.
Just an example. Yeah.
The same way you come back to me
and the place that we are staying is
so relaxed.
What reason do you have to
live
and don't stay there?
If you want to go back to your
hotel,
it's not far,
but why you waste
the energy
to go
up and down
and only Allah knows.
Yeah.
Time wasted,
energy wasted.
Just for what?
For
extra comfort?
We have all the comfort there.
And after the lontar on 10th in Acoma,
I always prepare myself
and the people will follow me.
After we throw the Jumrath Aqaba,
we are going back to our hotel just
10 minutes,
change our garment because we shave our hair
or you slaughter
the korban
for
a mutton matter,
then
we are going to mutton.
We are going to walk
under the
shape
and under the the metal shape. After that
you see the
the tunnel is still under the sheet.
Just take you
if me walking by myself,
maybe
40 minutes.
But with the group, I have to slow
down a bit together.
1 hour,
you reach Mecca
and perform tawaf ifaiba
and sign.
Beautiful.
Tawaf just stay about
1 hour
1 hour plus maximum,
And then sign in,
you finish, you are back
to me now.
You are back to the hotel,
take some rest,
then before Margaret, you go into Mina and
stay there
until the
end.
Finished already, that means we are free from
all
the pantang larang. Talod Sunny.
But there are people who
are not
used to do that.
They want to go by bars,
the bus is there.
People don't go now. The jam will take
you 6, 7 hours.
So the delay,
they can't go today.
The delay for tomorrow they say. Tomorrow so
still very heavy traffic jam.
So a lot of people
delay
and
then unnecessary,
you know.
Some have to only perform their tawa
after the anthem of God finished the tashirik,
the 14th of Zul hija.
And
I don't feel good. The thing that you
can do
are so easy,
and you'll be more healthier because you're walking
slow walk.
So I always remind people, there are people
after that,
they have their menses again,
and they cannot make tower for now.
You have to wait for what woman,
I will test you in a different manner.
Thing that you can do, just do it,
you know.
So this 1, we are always trying to
prepare our people
to be ready
for the sake of Allah.
And it's not hard,
you know, because the group is there to
support each other. You need to slow down,
we slow down, you take a break, take
some drink, we drink first, and then we
move again.
If you need people to push you,
use a wheelchair, we will do it.
We have no problem
because when you do things together, we help
each other.
Allah help
our group.
We don't have problem, we finish everything.
Yeah. More relaxed after that.
That's how we do things.
Anything that you want to do for
Ibadan,
you must get ready and prepare for the
best.
Allah will show you
because you want to follow,
then Allah will make it easier.
There is my
sharing about this hardship.
Yeah.
So for those who are
going for harsh anytime, please always have your
mind set.
Do a lot of walking.
3, 4 months, do a lot of walking.
You feel good after that. No.
Because walking experience,
you cannot get it anywhere except over there.
Millions of people are walking.
You see a lot of
others who are fleeing from different parts of
the world,
who have high spirits.
Nothing stops them.
Allah says,
be ready
in good times, bad times,
heat,
cold,
hardship, just be ready.
Yeah, inshallah.
So inshallah, brothers and sisters, we hope
the little knowledge that we have been sharing
with all of you,
give us the right spirit.
We must not give up,
we must not fear for nothing.
The best comfort
is
to get closer to Allah.
Yeah.
Our prophet, I
just want to share a very small
thing that happened.
Omar 1 day
visited the prophet. He just,
yeah,
wake up from his sleep,
and he saw mud on his back
Because he don't sleep on Dan Lok pillow
like us.
The bed of the prophet
is just like
the 1 that the Jaga Jaga
used to sleep,
you know. Those Jaga,
yeah, security guards used to sleep, you know.
It's like they use the rope.
Yeah. And then you can see the mark.
So they were saying Omar was saying to
the prophet,
why don't you have a better bed?
He said
the best 1 is when you are with
Allah.
This kind of pain sometimes
can wake you up very easily,
you know. Too comfort
than to wake up for father also very
difficult.
And just example,
I mean whatever you have, you can.
Even when we were in
our MENA tent,
they provide for you.
Yeah. Everyone you have a cushion,
yeah, a thick 1
you use for sitting, they use as a
bed now.
This high.
Yeah.
And they give you also
a kind of,
a thin 1.
Each 1, because
there is space. We don't want to sit
on the thick 1.
We just put it on the floor
and the cupboard is there and
it's very relaxing,
you know.
So it's how you train yourself.
Yeah. When you are ready for the worst
to come, you see everything
when Allah tells
you it's not the worst.
A bit
to you, this is nothing.
I've
gone through the worst.
So but if you are too comfort, you
always want to look for your kind of
dandruff below, then you cannot
sleep.
Just make sure that the earth allows it.
I make the earth as a pit for
you
and the sky
as the roof for you.
When people know how to
adjust themselves,
Allahu Akbar.
Yeah.
And sometimes we always look a lot of
people who are outside,
They just sleep in an open area,
you
know, under the bridge,
they kept walking,
and we saw
them. Sometimes they are just looking if somebody
can pass them some food, some water.
We are happy.
We just get our area is 247,
the flow, water, you just
you can get anywhere,
or the referee will keep on passing to
them passing to them.
Make us happy, they are happy,
you know,
because they are too too much,
you know, food
inside for
the people,
you know. So if you are wise, you
get some
some dry food,
some pancakes or anything,
and then you just share with the other
forgiveness.
Yeah. If not, it go to waste.
Insha'Allah.
So anytime,
especially people who want to go for Hajj,
always make sure that
you prepare yourself mentally,
physically,
spiritually,
and make sure that you
choose the right package.
As long as they want to follow the
Quran sunnah,
choose it.
You feel happy.
It depends.
It depends on the hotel.
Normally
because of the hotel,
they differ the cost.
So ahamdulillah, the important thing is you must
make sure that even say you are going
for the lesser
cost because of the hotel,
but you just want to make sure
the monastic,
the hash, I want to follow who,
and then you make it clear,
yeah, from the beginning.
When harsh, I want to follow so and
so.
Then easier
because other people also have the intention
but they don't have that experience to walk.
So because we have been walking,
you know, from the seventies
until now, so we don't find that there's
an excuse.
But people have fear. Can you can you
walk? You know. Of course. You have been
walking.
Now now we open for QED, Tafadar, if
there's any questions.
Any question from the sister?
Padda
Silakan.
Scan.
Okay.
Just 1 2 question, actually.
Cutting,
fingernails,
is it
only on Friday?
Again? Cutting fingernails.
Cutting fingernails.
Okay.
Yeah. Is it only on Friday or
other days?
And we are not to cut on Saturday.
The fingernails,
That,
from what I heard. Yeah. Okay. And then
1 more. Can men
men are not allowed to wrestle?
But sometimes
they were saying mixed silk.
K. I may allow to. Okay.
Now first, we talk about the fingernail.
It is a sunnah for us to make
sure that every Friday
is like,
an 8 day for the Muslim.
It's like Hari Raya, in 1 week there's
1 day,
like the Christian they have on Sunday, the
Jew is on Saturday,
We are on Friday. Yeah.
So the prophet will love his ummah to
be clean,
to even mandi hada bazaar,
kosul
on Friday,
and shave whatever thing that you have to
shave, all the armpit
hair, cubit hair, to make sure that you
are clean.
The same go to the fingernails.
Now other than that,
when your fingernail is cutting
long,
if it grows very far, then you should
keep on cutting.
Yeah. It's not that you purposely want to
cut
on Saturday,
that is not our day,
or Sunday,
but if you plan, it's better to cut
on Friday.
But if you feel that there's some area
that you really
disturbed, you know, become just
a bit sharp at the corner, you can
cut. No problem.
It's no issue actually.
When you knead
Yes, I'm about cutting the fingernail.
But personally, you plan Saturday,
that's not our day.
Okay?
And you come back to the
the second question is about seal.
The prophet forbid the male
among his ummah
to wear gold
and seal.
And when the prophet talked about
gold and silk, of course he referred to
the 100%
silk,
100%
goal. But
the best thing is to stay away
because some people miss it. Last time I
used to wear
a kind of ring, not gold ring,
swasa.
Look like gold.
So when I was studying in Medina, I
want to ask for the Quran.
The Sheikh looked at my finger,
like, you want a Quran?
Take out of the ring.
Take out the yellow. I said, this is
not gold. To me, it's gold. Yellow. Yellow.
Yellow. To me, I look at it like
gold.
I said, no, this is not goat.
But to me, you want to cry?
I said, yeah. Take
it
Fandered?
Yeah. Anything
anything that gold is
it's better not to wear because people may
not know.
Maybe this only coated
is not pure gold, you know,
but super hard, they say.
They are super hard, that means it look
like.
The gold before the seal of course,
the Sahaba,
1 of the Sahaba,
his body allergic to other material.
Yeah.
Wool
or other kind of he just can't
allergy, so the prophet allowed him
to use sin.
Yeah.
Only if you have that problem.
Because if the woman is allowed, that means
it's not because it's nudges, no. It's just
that they do not want the man to
dress
think like the woman like to dress. Yeah.
Silk is very soft.
Men should
wear something rough, you know,
Too too smooth, too soft, too too
I think too soft then you make the
man walk like a soft. Too soft and
then the man become like a lady.
You know?
So if
Always best stay away. Anything So that's why
when we went to some shop,
we said,
what kind of
material? Oh, this is 100% sealed. We don't
100%
sealed. You know, maybe certain percentage,
we don't mind.
Scholar may have different
opinion. Some scholars say as long it's not
100%,
no problem.
Yeah.
But we always believe that stay away from
anything Mutashabi had
is always highly recommended.
Yeah. It's always recommended.
But if they cannot wear other material because
their skin is allergic, then you can
go with silk. No problem.
Yeah.
I know some men, they use tie. The
garment is not sealed, the tie. The tie
is very nice.
There are so many other materials
just used.
Yeah. Save yourself from this doubtful area.
You remember the hadith I always share with
all of you,
Still waiting from there is gray area to
a very clear cut area.
Alhamdulillah.
Next.
Okay.
My question
regarding.
I'm a bit confused, there's too many rulings
like you cannot Poiseu on Friday,
you're not supposed to Poiseu on Saturdays,
and then there are days that you can
pass on which is what is pass on
Haripute?
Yeah. Yeah. So that's can you just
as a whole, what is actually possible in
Islam? Uh-huh.
Based on the teaching of our prophet, the
authentic hadith,
the prophet when they want to fast for
the weekly fast,
Monday Thursday.
The prophet choose Monday, Thursday.
When you want to fast on
the hariputeya
yama abioth,
13, 14, 15
of every month.
13, 14, 15.
These 3 days is
called
the white days.
Yeah. Other than that,
purposely that you
want to fast on Friday, you have started
fasting already.
You forget to fast on Thursday,
then you go and fast on Friday.
You have started
fasting.
Then the prophet asked the person,
do you fast on Thursday? No.
Do you have the intention to fast on
Saturday? No. Then break your fast.
You don't choose Friday
because Friday is an 8 day for us.
It's a happy day to my heart.
You pray, you know, congregation.
So
you don't choose Sunday also
because that is not our day.
Unless it falls on 13, 14, 15, then
it's okay.
Yeah.
If it fall on 13, 14, 15,
it fall on Friday,
Saturday,
Sunday,
no problem.
Yeah. Yeah. Because it goes by the day.
Yeah.
Then the the the the the calculation of
the day. Okay.
It's like Yomurtashlik
harsh day.
For people who are not performing Hajj, you
cannot fast.
It's an 8th day.
It's an 8th day. Yeah. Hari Raya *
is on the 10, 11, 12, 13.
4th day is Hari Raya day.
You cannot fast.
You only can fast on the 10, on
the 9th of
Zul Hijjah, Arafati.
For those who are not performing Hajj,
those performing Hajj,
they cannot fast on the 9.
They can't.
They cannot fast on 10
because it's the Ith day,
the beginning of the Ith day.
But for those who are performing Hajj
and they must
they are doing Tamat talk,
They should offer
a sacrifice
or ban
but they don't have the means,
not enough money to buy a sheep.
So our hearts say fast 3 days
in Hajj,
7 days when you return back home.
So for those people who are performing Hajj
and they don't have the means to do
korban,
they can fast 3 days
11, 12, 13
of zur hija.
For those who are not performing harsh, you
can.
Yes?
Yeah. Generally,
for the people who are performing Hajj,
who have to offer a sacrifice
but they don't have money or
it so happened that
no more animals,
yeah, to offer as a sacrifice. Then you
can fast 3 days
11, 12, 13 of the Rijjah
and 7 days when you return home. It's
in the Quran.
Yeah,
about those who perform
Hajj. For those who are not performing Hajj,
you cannot fast.
This is the 8th day,
Hari Raya day. Like you are not supposed
to fast on Hari Raya Puasa.
Yeah. The first day you cannot.
After that because Hari Raya Puasal only 1
day
after that, finish.
It. Hari Raya *,
10, 11, 12, 13
for this.
Cannot.
It's a highly rare day for you. You
cannot fast.
Yeah.
No. No. It is very clear in the
Quran talks about that.
Yeah. For people who are not aware sometimes,
remember we are not
able to fast on Hari Raya.
Hari Raya either fig tree cannot. Hariraya either
the other hand, 4 days cannot.
You cannot fast. Only the people performing Hajj
is like
we are encouraged to fast on
Arafati.
You get the reward of 1 year
before 1 year after sin will be forgiven
but only for people who are not performing
harsh.
People who perform Hajj don't pass.
You don't pass in Arafat Day.
So the people who are doing Hajj have
different law ruling compared
to the people who are not performing Hajj.
They can fast because they cannot offer the
sacrifice,
3 days in
your murtasri,
aya mulhaj,
and
then 7 days when they return back.
Yeah because Allah said that.
Because you know you are a traveler,
you're a traveler, you should not fast,
you know. So you come back, then you
can continue the 7 days.
Yeah, when you are back home
because when you are back home, you know,
it's easier.
When you're
traveling, you know, there's a lot
of things changing and that's not easy.
So that's why when you look at the
Islamic ruling, everything is Allah is
showing us
how to
do the ritual in the way that Allah
and the prophet have shown us. Not,
it's up to me. No no no.
Now,
last 1.
Ma'am? So the
weekly is Monday Thursday, the Hari could take
13, 14, 15. Of every month.
And no fasting on Friday Sunday.
No no no. No fasting, only you choose
or you choose on Saturday.
Oh.
Unless it fall on
the white days. White days. Yeah. Because the
white days, you don't talk about Friday or
anything. You talk about
13, 14, 15 of every month. Islamic
calendar.
Unless if you fast on Thursday, then you
can allow to continue
Friday, is that? If you
have fast on Thursday. If you have fast
on Thursday, you will continue, yes. 1 more.
Where does this hadith, Ashura, comes in? Oh,
yeah. You have Ashura.
Okay. The hadith of the 10
Muharram.
So our Muharram?
Yeah. That 1 also you have other hadith
on the Amat Muharram.
Okay.
And Arshura.
Correct.
K. Give give assistance.
Repeat. Repeat.
Prophet doubt he fasts
every day and then break in a day.
That's how he fast,
but now the prophet did encourage you for
those
before the prophet teach us all these other
days.
So when the prophet have taught us the
day that he have shown us,
so all other way of fasting
we can just abandon.
Yeah. Earlier,
he have said something based on before you
must always remember
the saint or prophet sometimes he's saying something
before,
but when he is guided by Allah to
do
the latest 1, so the latest 1 is
the 1 that we follow.
No. That's how it goes now.
Insha'Allah.
We end here, insha'Allah.
I hope we have the right understanding,
and,
please share with all our good friends,
family members about the classes here because sometimes
people who met me say, I thought that
the classes here is exclusive
only for members. No. No. It's for everybody.
Yeah. I think maybe we fail to share
with our friends
why not you're calm
than doing nothing like spend some time to
seek knowledge,
so encourage
more people
to learn about the deen guided by the
Quran Sunnah so that we will get reward
also by
sharing this knowledge with them, inshallah.
