00:00:00 --> 00:00:03
			Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim Al
hamdu lillah wa salatu salam ala

00:00:04 --> 00:00:07
			MDI, you will mursaleen say that
our Mowlana will have you been on

00:00:07 --> 00:00:11
			Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam while he was Sofia Sen

00:00:11 --> 00:00:15
			Sleeman Kathira Al Hamdulillah.
This is our second session of

00:00:15 --> 00:00:19
			purification of the heart. Thank
you, again, all of you for being

00:00:19 --> 00:00:23
			here. We covered a lot of
information on Tuesday. And I

00:00:23 --> 00:00:26
			know, I watched the video
afterwards. And I know I was going

00:00:26 --> 00:00:30
			a little fast at certain times.
And I apologize if I was going too

00:00:30 --> 00:00:34
			fast. But I'm going to do this
sort of summary every class before

00:00:34 --> 00:00:37
			we get into the new material, so
don't worry. And if you have any

00:00:37 --> 00:00:42
			questions, the chat box is open.
But it's, oh, it's going to come

00:00:42 --> 00:00:46
			to me and my co host, Sister
humara, who is also here, and

00:00:46 --> 00:00:49
			she's going to facilitate so if
you have certain questions about

00:00:49 --> 00:00:52
			anything that I'm saying at any
time, feel free to use that chat

00:00:52 --> 00:00:57
			box and just you know, let's enjoy
the rest of this. This program

00:00:57 --> 00:01:00
			together inshallah I want
participation, especially right

00:01:00 --> 00:01:03
			now. So right now I'm going to
just do a quick refresher by first

00:01:03 --> 00:01:06
			asking some questions to see who
is really paying attention on

00:01:06 --> 00:01:14
			Tuesday. Okay, so first, can you
who can tell me the name of the

00:01:14 --> 00:01:21
			author who wrote the poem that was
written in Arabic? We went over

00:01:21 --> 00:01:26
			his biography Okay, so if you can
type it in the chat box, I have

00:01:26 --> 00:01:30
			someone who already mashallah gave
their answer very quickly. I love

00:01:30 --> 00:01:33
			it. I love that you were on it.
But I'm not talking about the

00:01:33 --> 00:01:38
			translator. Okay, I'm talking
about the person who actually

00:01:38 --> 00:01:43
			mashallah No, there we go. No,
regard it just like you'll hear a

00:01:43 --> 00:01:47
			note. You wrote the right answer
mm mode with or emammal mode,

00:01:47 --> 00:01:53
			right? So imamo dude is the one
who wrote the Arabic text, okay.

00:01:53 --> 00:01:56
			And he's the one whose poem

00:01:57 --> 00:02:02
			The next person translated. So now
if you remember Luke is the one

00:02:02 --> 00:02:09
			who wrote the Arabic text. Who is
the one who wrote the English

00:02:10 --> 00:02:15
			translation of his text. Okay,
mashallah, there we go. We got

00:02:15 --> 00:02:20
			Bilal we got Yes. Seen and
actually before all of you, he

00:02:20 --> 00:02:25
			answered first son, right, you're
the one who said hum Zuza first,

00:02:25 --> 00:02:28
			so that was very good. Mashallah,
but that was for the translator.

00:02:28 --> 00:02:31
			So good job. At least you guys
know the names of these two very

00:02:31 --> 00:02:35
			important people. So Imam Al
Mahmoud is the one who wrote the

00:02:35 --> 00:02:40
			Arabic text, okay. He wrote the
Arabic poem about 200 years ago,

00:02:40 --> 00:02:43
			Sheikh Hamza Yusuf, who's still
alive and well Alhamdulillah he's

00:02:43 --> 00:02:49
			here in Berkeley. He translated it
into English, so make sure you

00:02:49 --> 00:02:50
			know his name. It's very
important.

00:02:51 --> 00:02:57
			Before we jumped into the, some of
the diseases, I described, a

00:02:57 --> 00:03:01
			couple or a few more than a few I
should say, different types of

00:03:01 --> 00:03:07
			hearts. Who can tell me first the
number how many hearts are there

00:03:07 --> 00:03:12
			described in the Quran, Hadith, or
in the commentary of some of these

00:03:12 --> 00:03:17
			texts? Very good mashallah, you
guys are all getting the right

00:03:17 --> 00:03:21
			answer. So let's look at the chat
to see who answered first. I think

00:03:21 --> 00:03:27
			this is Han right, it's fine. Or
it shall it shall and Xena Okay,

00:03:27 --> 00:03:32
			so I've a shell and Xena my shell
and then Raheel Very good. Lena,

00:03:32 --> 00:03:37
			Nora, all of you give the right
answer mashallah Amon has seen

00:03:37 --> 00:03:42
			Sokka bye usually have very good
it's my medium awesome job you

00:03:42 --> 00:03:45
			guys you guys are paying attention
I love it does echolocating Okay,

00:03:45 --> 00:03:51
			so now quick question of all
different parts that we covered

00:03:51 --> 00:03:56
			which is the most important one
which is the one we should all

00:03:56 --> 00:04:01
			have. And we should all want to
have very good mashallah, you guys

00:04:01 --> 00:04:06
			are coming with the answers so
quickly. I love it. So okay, yes.

00:04:06 --> 00:04:13
			See Nora Misha, is shall very good
Aisha of Nan Maryam. Alina I love

00:04:13 --> 00:04:15
			Alina, you said the shining heart.
Everybody else have the sound

00:04:15 --> 00:04:19
			heart very good. So the shining
heart the sound heart. Very good.

00:04:20 --> 00:04:23
			Does anybody remember the Arabic
word for it? Because that's the

00:04:23 --> 00:04:28
			English meaning who can tell me
the Arabic word or the term? It's

00:04:28 --> 00:04:32
			a term. Okay. Who remembers the
Arabic

00:04:34 --> 00:04:35
			let's see.

00:04:36 --> 00:04:41
			Oh, my salah Maryam you got it
Obsidium or Calvin Selim very good

00:04:41 --> 00:04:45
			Maria Masha Allah to vertical
Allah. Awesome job. I wish there

00:04:45 --> 00:04:48
			was like a point system, but very
good. Okay, excellent. Now we're

00:04:48 --> 00:04:53
			gonna go to the first three
diseases that we covered who can

00:04:53 --> 00:04:59
			type the first three diseases?
Okay, very good. We got miser or

00:04:59 --> 00:04:59
			miserliness.

00:05:00 --> 00:05:04
			stinginess are okay good. And
Michelle is saying you wrote the

00:05:04 --> 00:05:08
			Arabic awesome you wrote a book
called I love it. So you gave me

00:05:08 --> 00:05:12
			some of you give me the English
some of you are giving me the

00:05:12 --> 00:05:16
			Arabic Oh this is awesome
Mashallah. Very good. Okay, let me

00:05:16 --> 00:05:21
			just quickly pull up my slides
because I want to make sure I am.

00:05:23 --> 00:05:28
			Have have everything ready here.
Okay. Bismillah Okay, very good.

00:05:28 --> 00:05:30
			So let's see, I'm sorry. So go
back to the chat so you guys got

00:05:30 --> 00:05:33
			miserliness? What's the second
disease of the heart that we

00:05:33 --> 00:05:36
			covered? So we covered
miserliness, right? Which is

00:05:36 --> 00:05:42
			beholden Arabic. Very good
Mashallah. wantonness? Yes and

00:05:42 --> 00:05:47
			butter awesome SN and f9 You guys
are on you definitely got and then

00:05:47 --> 00:05:52
			No, no to come in and sliding in
with all three answers in her in

00:05:52 --> 00:05:56
			her response Mashallah. Very good
news. I'm gonna see who else

00:05:56 --> 00:05:59
			remembers the third one. The third
disease of the heart, give me the

00:05:59 --> 00:06:04
			English and the Arabic If you can
remember the Arabic as well. Okay.

00:06:04 --> 00:06:10
			Let's see. Very good, son. Got it.
Great job. So mashallah, Noah, you

00:06:10 --> 00:06:15
			got all three. Excellent Raheel
your scene Aisha great job so

00:06:15 --> 00:06:19
			Bovard right. So we covered
miserliness, which is Bohol

00:06:20 --> 00:06:24
			wantonness, butter and hatred.
Both you guys rock very good job.

00:06:24 --> 00:06:29
			Thank you guys. For for mashallah,
giving me again, that sense that

00:06:29 --> 00:06:33
			you were paying attention and that
you retained which means that you

00:06:33 --> 00:06:37
			remembered what we talked about.
That's really exciting. Alright,

00:06:37 --> 00:06:41
			so now we're going to go ahead and
move into today's lesson. Okay, so

00:06:41 --> 00:06:45
			for this I'm just going to quickly
cut off my camera so you guys are

00:06:45 --> 00:06:51
			not going to see me. And then I'm
going to go into the screenshare

00:06:51 --> 00:06:58
			so you guys will see my desktop as
soon as I expand this Okay, let's

00:06:58 --> 00:06:59
			see. Bismillah

00:07:00 --> 00:07:02
			one second you guys sorry.

00:07:08 --> 00:07:08
			Okay.

00:07:10 --> 00:07:12
			This should hopefully be

00:07:17 --> 00:07:18
			okay.

00:07:21 --> 00:07:22
			So let's see.

00:07:24 --> 00:07:30
			Why is it not expanding? Hmm.
Sorry, guys. I'm trying to make

00:07:30 --> 00:07:33
			this expand. It was working just a
second ago. But let's quickly

00:07:33 --> 00:07:35
			check why this isn't working.

00:07:39 --> 00:07:40
			The smaller

00:07:42 --> 00:07:45
			Presenter View hopefully it'll
come right on. Okay. It's just

00:07:45 --> 00:07:46
			give me one second.

00:07:49 --> 00:07:50
			Okay.

00:07:52 --> 00:07:56
			There we go. Yay. Okay. So thank
you again, for your patience. Here

00:07:56 --> 00:07:59
			we go. So now you guys should be
able to see the entire screen, not

00:07:59 --> 00:08:03
			a tiny little screen. So we're
gonna go through the slides, some

00:08:03 --> 00:08:05
			of the slides that we saw last
time. And

00:08:07 --> 00:08:09
			we'll go through all of these
hearts, which we talked about,

00:08:09 --> 00:08:15
			Ooh, there's that picture up.
Okay. And here's the full list of

00:08:15 --> 00:08:19
			the diseases of the heart. This is
what we covered. The first three

00:08:19 --> 00:08:21
			we covered last time, which is
miserliness. stinginess,

00:08:22 --> 00:08:25
			wantonness and hater which we just
talked about. Now we're gonna go

00:08:25 --> 00:08:30
			into number four, which is
iniquity or transgression. Buddy,

00:08:30 --> 00:08:34
			okay, buddy in Arabic, and the
meaning of this is its hatred for

00:08:34 --> 00:08:37
			other than the state or excuse me
harming anything in creation,

00:08:37 --> 00:08:42
			without a just cause. Okay, so if
you ever cause harm to something,

00:08:42 --> 00:08:47
			without reason, this would be
buggy. Okay, so let's go ahead and

00:08:47 --> 00:08:51
			talk about buddy. We're gonna fast
forward through all of these,

00:08:51 --> 00:08:55
			because we already went through,
here we go. So Bobby is harming

00:08:55 --> 00:08:58
			anything in creation without a
just cause, which means without a

00:08:58 --> 00:09:02
			good reason. If you're going to
harm something like sometimes, you

00:09:02 --> 00:09:08
			know, you'll see adults or kids,
just people walking down the

00:09:08 --> 00:09:13
			street, and then they see a bug
and they just squash it. Right?

00:09:13 --> 00:09:18
			Why would you squash an innocent
bug, that's not nice. That bug was

00:09:18 --> 00:09:23
			just living its life. It didn't do
anything to you. So we don't harm

00:09:23 --> 00:09:26
			things without reason. Especially
if you're just you know, walking

00:09:26 --> 00:09:31
			by something, or you see people
pulling out grass or flowers, you

00:09:31 --> 00:09:34
			know, when they are at a park,
you'll they'll just go and just

00:09:34 --> 00:09:39
			start pulling out things. We want
to be careful not to cause harm to

00:09:39 --> 00:09:43
			anything right? In creation. So
those are just smaller examples.

00:09:43 --> 00:09:47
			But of course, this can be a big
problem if it's not checked,

00:09:47 --> 00:09:51
			right? Because with the diseases
of the heart, some people can have

00:09:51 --> 00:09:55
			like, just like with any disease,
you can have it like a mild kind

00:09:55 --> 00:09:59
			of version of it or like a really
serious, so a mild version would

00:09:59 --> 00:10:00
			just be one

00:10:00 --> 00:10:02
			wanting to like destroy things,
right? Just harming things,

00:10:02 --> 00:10:06
			destroying things destroying
property destroying, like I said

00:10:06 --> 00:10:11
			innocent creations like bugs and
animals kicking a cat or a dog,

00:10:11 --> 00:10:14
			this is are all haram, you cannot
do that. It's not permissible,

00:10:14 --> 00:10:19
			right. But when it gets in a worst
form, this can be very, very

00:10:19 --> 00:10:23
			dangerous because it can lead to a
lot of terrible things happening,

00:10:23 --> 00:10:26
			right? So the word belly is
derived. And this is again,

00:10:26 --> 00:10:30
			important to know, because it
explains the meaning and how we

00:10:30 --> 00:10:33
			got the meaning of this disease of
the heart. It's derived from the

00:10:33 --> 00:10:40
			Arabic root word for desire Raba.
so badly is desiring something so

00:10:40 --> 00:10:44
			bad, that you're willing to harm
someone or something else for it.

00:10:44 --> 00:10:48
			Like your, you know, whatever that
thing is that you want. You're

00:10:48 --> 00:10:52
			willing to destroy something else.
This is why it's such a dangerous

00:10:52 --> 00:10:57
			and terrible disease of the heart.
So let's talk about how this can

00:10:57 --> 00:11:02
			be come in a bigger form and the
worst form possible, right? But

00:11:02 --> 00:11:06
			it's something that leads often to
obsession with power. So if you

00:11:06 --> 00:11:10
			look at some of the world's most
notorious leaders, like the worst

00:11:10 --> 00:11:14
			leaders throughout history, they
were afflicted with this disease,

00:11:14 --> 00:11:19
			right? And they caused mass
genocide, genocide is when you

00:11:19 --> 00:11:25
			kill a lot of people at the same
time, for no reason, just because

00:11:25 --> 00:11:28
			you want power. Maybe you don't
like a particular group of people.

00:11:28 --> 00:11:32
			Right. And throughout history,
that's that's definitely happened

00:11:32 --> 00:11:37
			where people have harmed entire
villages, cities, groups of people

00:11:37 --> 00:11:42
			just just because they they wanted
to, and for no good reason, just

00:11:42 --> 00:11:46
			because they didn't like them, or
they wanted power. So but they can

00:11:46 --> 00:11:50
			bring a lot of harm. If it's not
treated, right, it causes this

00:11:50 --> 00:11:54
			disease again, of power and
wealth. Other people that are also

00:11:54 --> 00:11:58
			have this problem are criminals,
right? People who steal, for

00:11:58 --> 00:12:02
			example, or who destroy other
people's properties, why do they

00:12:02 --> 00:12:06
			do what they do, it's for, you
know, maybe they want something,

00:12:06 --> 00:12:11
			right? If a thief goes into
someone's home, they're not caring

00:12:11 --> 00:12:15
			about the safety of that family,
or those people inside the home.

00:12:15 --> 00:12:19
			They just want what they want. But
maybe if they're, you know,

00:12:19 --> 00:12:22
			confronted by someone, they will
hurt them because they want to run

00:12:22 --> 00:12:26
			away before the police come and
catch them. So they basically

00:12:26 --> 00:12:30
			really don't have that value for
human life. And they'll do

00:12:30 --> 00:12:34
			whatever they can to get what they
want, right? Which is why it's so

00:12:34 --> 00:12:37
			dangerous. So criminals, thieves,
they have this disease, but

00:12:37 --> 00:12:42
			another group of people also have
a version of this disease. And

00:12:42 --> 00:12:45
			that's something a term that you
might all know which are bullies,

00:12:45 --> 00:12:50
			okay. Bullies want sometimes to
become popular or liked by certain

00:12:50 --> 00:12:55
			people, or they want power, right?
Like if they want to have other

00:12:55 --> 00:12:59
			people scared of them. So what
they do is they'll ridicule, mock,

00:12:59 --> 00:13:03
			sometimes even fight people who
are less, you know, maybe weaker

00:13:03 --> 00:13:07
			than them or smaller than them all
just to get something for

00:13:07 --> 00:13:11
			themselves, so they don't really
care. So this is why again, it's

00:13:11 --> 00:13:14
			such a dangerous disease of the
heart, Allah's pant that tells us

00:13:14 --> 00:13:19
			and warns us about about it right,
he says that all faces shall be

00:13:19 --> 00:13:24
			humbled before him. The living the
sub, the subsisting eternal,

00:13:24 --> 00:13:28
			hopeless, indeed will be the man
that carries iniquity on his back.

00:13:28 --> 00:13:32
			So he's saying that the person who
has this disease of the heart is

00:13:32 --> 00:13:35
			going to be hopeless, on the Day
of Judgment, that means that

00:13:36 --> 00:13:39
			they're not going to be safe
because they caused so much harm

00:13:40 --> 00:13:43
			to people in this life, that Allah
subhanaw taala is going to call

00:13:43 --> 00:13:47
			them to account he's, they're
going to have to face him. And

00:13:47 --> 00:13:52
			then the Prophet sallallahu sallam
said, Who's Islam or? Sorry? Well,

00:13:52 --> 00:13:55
			most are reported that they said,
they asked the process of a

00:13:55 --> 00:13:59
			question. They said, O Messenger
of Allah, whose Islam is best,

00:13:59 --> 00:14:05
			right? And he answered, the one
from whose tongue and hand Muslims

00:14:05 --> 00:14:11
			are safe. So making sure that you
don't cause harm to people, right

00:14:11 --> 00:14:15
			with your words, or your hands, is
a big part of being a Muslim. So

00:14:15 --> 00:14:19
			you cannot have buddy and be a
practicing Muslim at the same

00:14:19 --> 00:14:23
			time. If you're someone that
causes people harm, with with your

00:14:23 --> 00:14:26
			words, or like I said, with your
hands, this is definitely

00:14:26 --> 00:14:30
			something we have to treat, we
have to stop that behavior, right.

00:14:31 --> 00:14:36
			So in sha Allah, that is what we
have for Buffy, and here's the

00:14:36 --> 00:14:40
			treatment for it. So the first
part of the treatment that Imam Al

00:14:40 --> 00:14:45
			Mohler suggests is having
certainty that the day of judgment

00:14:45 --> 00:14:48
			is real, and that every single
person is going to face Allah

00:14:48 --> 00:14:53
			subhanaw taala and be asked about
why they did what they did, and

00:14:53 --> 00:14:57
			that nothing escapes the knowledge
of Allah, right. He knows

00:14:57 --> 00:14:59
			everything. He sees everything and
he's the most joy

00:15:00 --> 00:15:03
			First of all people are going to
be asked, every single one of us

00:15:03 --> 00:15:07
			will have to answer for what we
did. So we should know that and

00:15:07 --> 00:15:11
			once you know that firmly, then it
should protect you and prevent you

00:15:12 --> 00:15:15
			from, from iniquity from building
from doing this where you harm

00:15:15 --> 00:15:20
			other people. Another thing is to
remember death, okay? Remembering

00:15:20 --> 00:15:24
			death is similar, because you
remember, like, I have to leave

00:15:24 --> 00:15:28
			this world. So whatever power I
want, whatever control I want,

00:15:28 --> 00:15:32
			whatever money I want, it doesn't
last, it's going to eventually,

00:15:32 --> 00:15:35
			it's not going to matter, because
I can't take it with me when I

00:15:35 --> 00:15:39
			die. Right? And we don't know when
that time is. For some people,

00:15:39 --> 00:15:42
			they live a long life, other
people, maybe not that long, but

00:15:42 --> 00:15:47
			the point is, all of us, we only
we don't take anything with us

00:15:47 --> 00:15:51
			when we die, right? That's the
only thing we take with us is our

00:15:51 --> 00:15:54
			good deeds, right? Or our deeds.
And then we're going to be asked

00:15:54 --> 00:15:57
			about that on the Day of Judgment.
So very important to remember

00:15:57 --> 00:16:01
			these things frequently. And the
more you remember them, it

00:16:01 --> 00:16:06
			prevents you from having buddy.
Okay, so that is the first disease

00:16:06 --> 00:16:09
			that we're going to talk about
today. Now, the next one is kind

00:16:09 --> 00:16:15
			of related because certain parts
of botany or belly is, is fueled

00:16:15 --> 00:16:19
			by the desire for something right,
you want something and therefore

00:16:19 --> 00:16:24
			you're willing to hurt people for
it. So that desire is what we're

00:16:24 --> 00:16:27
			going to talk about now, when we
talk about the next disease of the

00:16:27 --> 00:16:32
			heart, which is love of the world,
or an Arabic for the dunya. Okay,

00:16:32 --> 00:16:36
			so the love of the world is
something that Allah subhanaw

00:16:36 --> 00:16:41
			taala warns us about in the Quran,
because it's something that can

00:16:41 --> 00:16:46
			distract us, right? It can take us
away from worshiping Allah

00:16:46 --> 00:16:50
			subhanaw taala. So he tells us
here in chapter six, verse 32, he

00:16:50 --> 00:16:55
			says, and the life of this world
is nothing but play and amusement,

00:16:56 --> 00:17:00
			but far better is the house in the
hereafter. For those who are pious

00:17:00 --> 00:17:04
			Will you not then understand. So
he's trying to tell us like, don't

00:17:04 --> 00:17:09
			get too caught up in this small
world, a short world, because it's

00:17:09 --> 00:17:13
			not going to last very long
compared to eternity, right? We're

00:17:13 --> 00:17:16
			going to be here, we're for a
short time. And we should just

00:17:16 --> 00:17:19
			focus on what we're supposed to
do, which is worship Allah

00:17:19 --> 00:17:23
			subhana, WA, tada. And then the
next life is so much better, it's

00:17:23 --> 00:17:27
			longer, we're gonna be with our
loved ones. And we won't have all

00:17:27 --> 00:17:30
			the problems and the issues that
that we have in the dunya. So

00:17:30 --> 00:17:35
			basically, stay focused. And then
he says, Let not this present life

00:17:35 --> 00:17:39
			deceive you, which is to also just
kind of warn us like, Don't be

00:17:39 --> 00:17:43
			tricked by the dunya. Because the
dunya can be so distracting,

00:17:43 --> 00:17:48
			right? If you like I said, start
worrying about money and clothes

00:17:48 --> 00:17:52
			and cars, and all the different
things you want. You'll just

00:17:52 --> 00:17:57
			forget to do other things, right?
It's that's the power of the dunya

00:17:57 --> 00:18:00
			is that it can basically take you
away from your responsibilities to

00:18:00 --> 00:18:05
			Allah subhanaw taala, to your
parents, your family, your work,

00:18:05 --> 00:18:09
			it can just take you away, because
you keep wanting more and more and

00:18:09 --> 00:18:13
			more. So the prophesy. So it
actually gave us many different

00:18:13 --> 00:18:16
			Hadith that talked about this
disease of the heart. But there's

00:18:16 --> 00:18:19
			one in particular that really
talks about the time that we're

00:18:19 --> 00:18:24
			living in now, right, where he
says that nations are about to

00:18:24 --> 00:18:28
			unite and call each other to set
upon you, just as diners are

00:18:28 --> 00:18:33
			invited to a plate of food. So
then someone asked, is it going to

00:18:33 --> 00:18:38
			be be because of our lack of
numbers that day? Will we be small

00:18:38 --> 00:18:42
			in number, so what the process we
just described, he said that the

00:18:42 --> 00:18:47
			Muslim ummah is going to base
there's going to be other people

00:18:47 --> 00:18:51
			that are going to come and just
kind of start taking from our

00:18:51 --> 00:18:56
			lands, you know, like the Muslim
lands throughout the world, the

00:18:56 --> 00:19:00
			way that a person who's really
hungry, comes to a dinner table

00:19:00 --> 00:19:04
			and just jumps on a plate of food.
So they were kind of confused,

00:19:04 --> 00:19:07
			because, you know, they were
strong people. So they didn't

00:19:07 --> 00:19:12
			understand like, How could that
be? And so their immediate thought

00:19:12 --> 00:19:15
			was, maybe it's because we're not
going to be that many, there's not

00:19:15 --> 00:19:18
			going to be that many Muslims. And
that's why we're going to be so

00:19:18 --> 00:19:20
			powerless, like all these
countries are going to be able to

00:19:20 --> 00:19:24
			invade our countries and take what
they want. So that's what they

00:19:24 --> 00:19:26
			were thinking, right? So they
asked is it going to be because

00:19:26 --> 00:19:29
			our numbers like we're going to be
smaller number. And the problem

00:19:29 --> 00:19:34
			was Saddam said no, you're going
to be many on that day. But you

00:19:34 --> 00:19:40
			will be like the foam that floats
on the ocean. So the prophesize is

00:19:40 --> 00:19:45
			telling us is that the in terms of
numbers population, Muslims are

00:19:45 --> 00:19:49
			going to be very, like there's
going to be a lot of Muslims. But

00:19:49 --> 00:19:53
			there's, we're gonna be like the
foam that floats on the ocean and

00:19:53 --> 00:19:57
			I'll explain what that means in a
second. And then he says, Allah

00:19:57 --> 00:19:59
			will remove the fear of you from
the hearts of

00:20:00 --> 00:20:04
			Your enemies and put one into your
hearts. So two things are gonna

00:20:04 --> 00:20:07
			happen, these forces that are
invading in Muslim lands, they're

00:20:07 --> 00:20:10
			not going to be scared of you.
You're not strong people, they're

00:20:10 --> 00:20:15
			not intimidated by you. You're
weak basically. And, and they put

00:20:15 --> 00:20:18
			one into your hearts, right?
There's one. So then they were

00:20:18 --> 00:20:21
			like, wait, what does that mean?
So they asked, or messenger of

00:20:21 --> 00:20:26
			Allah, what is weapon. And he
said, Love for the dunya and

00:20:26 --> 00:20:30
			hatred for death. So what he's
basically telling us in this

00:20:30 --> 00:20:35
			hadith is that, that, that we even
though we have large numbers,

00:20:35 --> 00:20:40
			right, Muslims are large and
population, we become weak. And

00:20:40 --> 00:20:45
			we're so weak that other forces
can will start invading our

00:20:45 --> 00:20:49
			countries and taking things from
our countries. So some of you may

00:20:49 --> 00:20:53
			know people from certain parts of
the world. I, for example, was

00:20:53 --> 00:20:58
			born in Afghanistan, right?
There's many other people who were

00:20:58 --> 00:21:01
			born in different Muslim lands who
have had this experience where

00:21:01 --> 00:21:05
			other governments, other people
came into the country took what

00:21:05 --> 00:21:09
			they wanted and left, right. It's
happened in Iraq and Syria and so

00:21:09 --> 00:21:14
			many other places in the Muslim
world, right. And so, why does

00:21:14 --> 00:21:17
			this happen? Well, the process and
have told us it's because we he's

00:21:17 --> 00:21:22
			putting the responsibility back on
us, right? He said that we have an

00:21:22 --> 00:21:27
			love for the dunya. Right, which
is, and we'll talk about, you

00:21:27 --> 00:21:31
			know, the different types of love
that we can and can't have. And we

00:21:31 --> 00:21:34
			have a hatred for death. So we
don't want to meet Allah subhanaw

00:21:34 --> 00:21:38
			taala because death is really one
step closer to meeting Allah.

00:21:38 --> 00:21:42
			Right. And so anybody who hates
death, they don't want Jana. They

00:21:42 --> 00:21:47
			don't want to meet Allah. So if
you have both of these problems or

00:21:47 --> 00:21:52
			issues, then it's is it you know,
any wonder why you see so much of

00:21:52 --> 00:21:56
			the Muslim world in the state that
it said, it's because we need to

00:21:56 --> 00:22:00
			not have these diseases of the
heart, right? Both of them are

00:22:00 --> 00:22:03
			diseases of the heart, love for
the dunya and hatred for death. So

00:22:03 --> 00:22:07
			now let's just examine this a
little bit more, okay, the froth

00:22:07 --> 00:22:12
			of the ocean, this is a really
good analogy. Look at that man, in

00:22:12 --> 00:22:16
			the first picture, how small he
looks in compared a comparison to

00:22:16 --> 00:22:20
			the phone, right? The fall of the
ocean, depending on where you're

00:22:20 --> 00:22:24
			standing can go really, really
far. So that's it's a pretty, you

00:22:24 --> 00:22:28
			know, large swath of foam that
you're looking at here. And this

00:22:28 --> 00:22:32
			is just one little, you know, area
in the world. But oceans are huge.

00:22:32 --> 00:22:36
			They make up the most, you know,
part of the entire globe, right?

00:22:36 --> 00:22:40
			It's water. So, but look on the
right picture, and you see that

00:22:40 --> 00:22:44
			it's like soap, right? It doesn't
look like soap, right? So when you

00:22:44 --> 00:22:46
			go wash your hands, and you lather
your hands really well. And then

00:22:46 --> 00:22:50
			you see a bunch of soap in the
sink. That's what this looks like.

00:22:50 --> 00:22:54
			It's light, its airy, it has no
weight, which means it's not

00:22:54 --> 00:22:58
			something strong, right? It's not
something strong. So the problem

00:22:58 --> 00:23:03
			is, I still am use this analogy to
say, we're gonna be a lot, there's

00:23:03 --> 00:23:06
			gonna be a lot of Muslims. And
right now there's about almost 8

00:23:06 --> 00:23:12
			billion people in the world. And
one, I think about 1.5 or 1.6

00:23:12 --> 00:23:17
			billion Muslims in the world. So
we are 181 eighth of the world's

00:23:17 --> 00:23:21
			population, Mr. Shallow Muslims
are in every part of the world.

00:23:21 --> 00:23:25
			Okay. We're not just in certain
parts, we're everywhere. But even

00:23:25 --> 00:23:30
			though we have that many numbers,
are we a strong? No, we're not.

00:23:30 --> 00:23:34
			We're like the foam of the ocean.
And why? Because too many of us

00:23:34 --> 00:23:39
			are afflicted with the disease of
Hubbard. Dunya. Okay, and what is

00:23:39 --> 00:23:45
			Hubbard dunya Here we go. This is
Hubbard dunya. You wanting all of

00:23:45 --> 00:23:49
			the best of the best of the best
of the best. You want a huge

00:23:49 --> 00:23:53
			house, you want the nicest car,
you want gold, and jewelry and

00:23:53 --> 00:23:58
			money. And the you know, eating
the most lavish meals and all the

00:23:58 --> 00:24:03
			nicest accessories. You just keep
wanting and wanting and wanting

00:24:03 --> 00:24:07
			that you it starts to make what in
your heart greed, right, it builds

00:24:07 --> 00:24:10
			this other disease of the heart
greed, where it's just never

00:24:10 --> 00:24:14
			enough, right? And this is kind of
what we talked about on Tuesday.

00:24:14 --> 00:24:19
			wantonness wantonness is you can't
control your desire for things you

00:24:19 --> 00:24:23
			become prideful. So these all
these diseases kind of, you know,

00:24:23 --> 00:24:27
			affect each other. If you have
wantonness or love of the dunya

00:24:27 --> 00:24:30
			you're probably going to share a
lot of the same qualities, which

00:24:30 --> 00:24:34
			are that you just keep wanting
more and more and more and you

00:24:34 --> 00:24:38
			start to have, so you have greed
and you start to have pride,

00:24:38 --> 00:24:44
			right? So these are the dangers of
of having a dunya is that it makes

00:24:44 --> 00:24:49
			you keep it leads to these other
dangerous diseases, right? greed

00:24:49 --> 00:24:55
			and pride. So, again, we're
looking at, you know, extra when

00:24:55 --> 00:24:58
			you're when you're doing when it's
out of balance, it's excess. It's

00:24:58 --> 00:24:59
			too much her

00:25:00 --> 00:25:04
			dunya is when that desire for
these things takes over you Okay?

00:25:04 --> 00:25:05
			And so

00:25:06 --> 00:25:09
			let's look at again the other
consequence of her Virginia

00:25:09 --> 00:25:13
			because not only do you get more
greedy and prideful, but you're

00:25:13 --> 00:25:18
			probably going to be become very
forgetful. So this is the danger

00:25:18 --> 00:25:23
			is it if you spend all your day
daydreaming about money and about

00:25:23 --> 00:25:27
			all the nicest clothes and food
and the big house and the fastest

00:25:27 --> 00:25:31
			car, and just all of that stuff,
you're gonna start to forget

00:25:31 --> 00:25:36
			certain things that are very, very
important. Number one, ALLAH

00:25:36 --> 00:25:39
			SubhanA wa Tada, you know, this is
the problem. This is what shake on

00:25:39 --> 00:25:43
			wants shaytaan. Remember, he's our
greatest enemy. So he wants

00:25:43 --> 00:25:47
			nothing more than for us to forget
Allah. Forget our prayers, forget

00:25:47 --> 00:25:51
			the prophesy centum. And so what
he does is he distracts us by

00:25:51 --> 00:25:57
			making the world look so shiny,
and like exciting and fun, fun,

00:25:57 --> 00:26:01
			fun, that that's all we want. We
just want to have fun and just

00:26:01 --> 00:26:04
			have the best of the best things.
So people afflicted with this

00:26:04 --> 00:26:07
			disease of the heart, this is what
they do, they'll just sit at home.

00:26:07 --> 00:26:11
			And they'll just be thinking about
all these things. But then guess

00:26:11 --> 00:26:16
			what happens? They forget to pray.
They forget the prophesy centum.

00:26:16 --> 00:26:19
			Right. They forget Allah, they
forget to give charity because

00:26:19 --> 00:26:23
			they're too worried about making
money for themselves. They don't

00:26:23 --> 00:26:27
			want to fast because they want to
eat all the best foods and just

00:26:27 --> 00:26:30
			spend, you know, all this money on
the best experience is going to

00:26:30 --> 00:26:34
			the fanciest restaurants, they
forget to go to the masjid. They

00:26:34 --> 00:26:38
			forget to study and to learn,
right? We're supposed to learn

00:26:38 --> 00:26:42
			every day of our lives, we should
be learning something, right? They

00:26:42 --> 00:26:45
			don't spend time with their
parents, they forget to take care

00:26:45 --> 00:26:50
			of their family, pay their debts,
because usually you can't keep

00:26:50 --> 00:26:54
			this lifestyle. If you have a bit
dunya you start to get credit

00:26:54 --> 00:26:59
			cards and start borrowing money.
And so you get debt. Okay, a debt

00:26:59 --> 00:27:03
			is when you owe people something.
So a lot of people with this

00:27:03 --> 00:27:07
			disease also have wantonness,
which is which we talked about

00:27:07 --> 00:27:12
			too, that it makes them go into
debt, okay. They also forget to

00:27:12 --> 00:27:14
			stay in touch with their friends,
take care of their

00:27:14 --> 00:27:18
			responsibilities, take care of the
earth, they don't care about

00:27:18 --> 00:27:21
			taking care of the earth, because
all they care about is wanting

00:27:21 --> 00:27:25
			whatever they want, right. And
that's why they'll spend a lot of

00:27:25 --> 00:27:30
			money on clothes and other things,
not realizing that the more money

00:27:30 --> 00:27:34
			you spend on things, the more it
causes, you know, pollution in the

00:27:34 --> 00:27:38
			world, right? We there's a lot of
pollution that happens because of

00:27:38 --> 00:27:43
			factories and all of the, you
know, cheap materials that go into

00:27:43 --> 00:27:47
			making certain products. So as a
Muslim, we have to be more

00:27:47 --> 00:27:50
			responsible with our spending and
not just keep spending, spending

00:27:50 --> 00:27:54
			spending. And then the last thing
or another thing is death, you

00:27:54 --> 00:27:57
			don't remember death. And that's
the very thing that you should be

00:27:57 --> 00:28:01
			remembering to protect from this
disease of the heart, right? So

00:28:01 --> 00:28:05
			very important to know the
consequences of love of the of the

00:28:05 --> 00:28:07
			world. Now,

00:28:08 --> 00:28:12
			the next thing to remember is that
you know, the treatment, how do we

00:28:12 --> 00:28:15
			treat this? Well, we said
remembrance of death, right?

00:28:15 --> 00:28:18
			That's one of the ways that we can
treat this, the prophesy said I'm

00:28:18 --> 00:28:23
			sad, remember, often, the
destroyer of pleasures, okay. And

00:28:23 --> 00:28:28
			he meant by that death, that death
destroys pleasure. And so all

00:28:28 --> 00:28:31
			those things that we taught, that
we showed in that picture, they're

00:28:31 --> 00:28:34
			all things that are nice, nobody's
saying they're not nice. But

00:28:34 --> 00:28:40
			again, if it takes over you that
desire to want those things, and

00:28:40 --> 00:28:45
			all you care about is having
things and you know, just being

00:28:45 --> 00:28:50
			seeking out whatever desires you
have, then it's a problem. So the

00:28:50 --> 00:28:55
			best way to remedy that or to fix
that is to remember death, okay?

00:28:56 --> 00:29:00
			And then also another treatment is
being balanced, and how to love

00:29:00 --> 00:29:04
			the world and all that it
contains, in a way that's pleasing

00:29:04 --> 00:29:08
			to Allah because the opposite of
or the, you know, Hubbard loving

00:29:08 --> 00:29:13
			the world is not necessarily a
problem in and of itself. It's

00:29:13 --> 00:29:18
			when you love the world to a point
that you love it more than Allah

00:29:18 --> 00:29:21
			subhanaw taala more than other
things, right? You just keep

00:29:21 --> 00:29:25
			wanting more of the dunya. And you
don't want to ever leave the dunya

00:29:25 --> 00:29:29
			because you want to extend your
life as much as possible. So you

00:29:29 --> 00:29:33
			can eat drink, go on vacations,
and just have a lot of fun, go to

00:29:33 --> 00:29:37
			parties. wear fancy clothes,
that's the problem, right? So

00:29:37 --> 00:29:41
			there is a way to have a balanced
love for the world. And that's

00:29:41 --> 00:29:44
			part of the treatment as well.
Okay, and here it is. So first we

00:29:44 --> 00:29:48
			have to understand that there are
five categories of love of the

00:29:48 --> 00:29:54
			world. Okay. So there are things
that we have to love obligatory.

00:29:54 --> 00:29:59
			wajib recommended man DUBH
permissible MOBA

00:30:00 --> 00:30:05
			reprehensible mcru and forbidden
haram. So basically what this is,

00:30:05 --> 00:30:10
			is every single thing in the dunya
can fall under one of these

00:30:10 --> 00:30:16
			categories, right? For example,
something that you should love is

00:30:17 --> 00:30:22
			what the Quran right the book of
ALLAH SubhanA wa Darna the seed of

00:30:22 --> 00:30:25
			the prophesy certain things that
we have in this dunya right the

00:30:25 --> 00:30:28
			process of them himself, the
Kaaba, there's, you know, the

00:30:29 --> 00:30:33
			masjid, and nebulae, basically,
any house of Allah or any good

00:30:33 --> 00:30:37
			place, we should love those
things, right? And then there's

00:30:37 --> 00:30:41
			the recommended, right, the
permissible, what you can like,

00:30:41 --> 00:30:46
			what you can love, it's
permissible, for example, to love

00:30:46 --> 00:30:50
			certain foods, or even like we
talked about on Tuesday, if you

00:30:50 --> 00:30:54
			have a love for really nice,
expensive things, that's not a

00:30:54 --> 00:31:00
			problem. It's if you don't have a
balance with that love, that you

00:31:00 --> 00:31:05
			would be willing to harm someone
to get that thing, right. Let's

00:31:05 --> 00:31:09
			say for example, you go to a store
and you see a watch. And this

00:31:09 --> 00:31:12
			watch is so beautiful. And you're
like, oh my gosh, it's the most

00:31:12 --> 00:31:15
			beautiful thing in the world. I
want this watch, I want this

00:31:15 --> 00:31:19
			watch. I want this watch, okay.
Now, if you go back home, and you

00:31:19 --> 00:31:22
			look at your piggy bank, or you go
in you ask your parents like, Hey,

00:31:22 --> 00:31:25
			Mom, Dad, I want to do some chores
in the house. Because I really

00:31:25 --> 00:31:29
			want to purchase this watch that I
love. What chores can I do? And

00:31:29 --> 00:31:31
			then they tell you, Okay, you can
do this, this and this and you

00:31:31 --> 00:31:35
			start saving your money, right?
There's nothing wrong with if you

00:31:35 --> 00:31:39
			saved your money. And you said,
I'm gonna go buy that watch,

00:31:39 --> 00:31:44
			because it's a nice thing. And you
worked hard for it. Right? But if

00:31:44 --> 00:31:48
			you wanted that watch, and then
you thought about it, and you

00:31:48 --> 00:31:55
			said, Oh, man, it's like, $500 I'm
never gonna make $500 How can I

00:31:55 --> 00:31:59
			get this watch? What can I do? And
then you know, che Donna will

00:31:59 --> 00:32:02
			come. And he'll kind of give you
an idea. He'll say, I have an

00:32:02 --> 00:32:08
			idea. Go to the store and distract
you know, the person at the

00:32:08 --> 00:32:12
			checkout place. And just go grab
it real fast, right? This is how

00:32:12 --> 00:32:17
			shaitan works. He comes in, he
whispers to us things right? So he

00:32:17 --> 00:32:20
			might put that thought in your
mind. And now all of a sudden

00:32:20 --> 00:32:23
			stuff for Allah. You have what?
This is iniquity, right? This is

00:32:23 --> 00:32:28
			causing harm. Because of your
desire. The desire is so much. You

00:32:28 --> 00:32:31
			can't help yourself, you're
willing to harm someone or

00:32:31 --> 00:32:34
			something for it. Right? So we
have to be very careful that but

00:32:34 --> 00:32:38
			as far as wanting the watch,
that's perfectly fine, right?

00:32:38 --> 00:32:44
			Something reprehensible or mcru
would be for example, to delay

00:32:44 --> 00:32:49
			your prayers. Okay. We should pray
on time when the prayer comes in.

00:32:50 --> 00:32:54
			As soon as you know that it's the
harasser McGraw, you should pray.

00:32:54 --> 00:32:59
			If you make a habit out of
delaying your prayers. This is not

00:32:59 --> 00:33:02
			permissible or it's reprehensible.
It's my crew. It's disliked. Okay.

00:33:03 --> 00:33:07
			It's not haram. It's not you know,
it's certainly not, you know,

00:33:07 --> 00:33:10
			recommended or permissible, it's
my crew. So you have to know the

00:33:10 --> 00:33:14
			difference that everything in the
world falls under one of these

00:33:14 --> 00:33:17
			categories. And then the forbidden
we know are haram, you should not

00:33:17 --> 00:33:23
			like you know, alcohol, or eating
certain foods that you know, ALLAH

00:33:23 --> 00:33:27
			SubhanA, Allah has forbidden,
right? That would not be very good

00:33:27 --> 00:33:33
			at all to love those things which
Allah dislikes. So love of the

00:33:33 --> 00:33:36
			world is about having a balance
about understanding that

00:33:36 --> 00:33:40
			everything in Allah's creation
falls under one of these

00:33:40 --> 00:33:44
			categories. Okay. And then the
prophesies said, I'm warned,

00:33:44 --> 00:33:49
			because remember, we're when we
talk about love of the dunya being

00:33:49 --> 00:33:52
			a disease of the heart, that does
not mean that the answer for it is

00:33:52 --> 00:33:56
			to hate the dunya No, no, no stop
for Allah, the process and

00:33:56 --> 00:34:01
			actually told us and warned us do
not curse the world. The for God

00:34:01 --> 00:34:05
			created the world and the world is
a means to reaching the knowledge

00:34:05 --> 00:34:09
			of God. So what he's saying is
that don't think that, you know,

00:34:09 --> 00:34:14
			the opposite of hubba dunya is to
have a bad view of the world and

00:34:14 --> 00:34:18
			to be like, Oh, I hate this place.
And I want to leave, and I can't

00:34:18 --> 00:34:22
			wait to go to Jana, and you have a
very bad opinion of the dunya. No,

00:34:22 --> 00:34:26
			we should have balanced there's
good in the dunya and there's harm

00:34:26 --> 00:34:29
			in the dunya. And we love that
which Allah subhanaw taala loves

00:34:29 --> 00:34:32
			and we don't love that which
Allah's partner doesn't love.

00:34:32 --> 00:34:36
			That's how we look at the dunya
and that's balanced. People with

00:34:36 --> 00:34:42
			hubba dunya they don't have
balance. They love too many things

00:34:42 --> 00:34:46
			that distract them from the
worship of Allah. That's why it's

00:34:46 --> 00:34:51
			a disease of the heart, but to say
I love Allah's creation I love the

00:34:51 --> 00:34:55
			sun and the stars and the moon and
the parks and the rivers and the

00:34:55 --> 00:34:59
			lakes and the trees and the oceans
and the beaches and the good

00:34:59 --> 00:34:59
			delicious

00:35:00 --> 00:35:04
			fruits and the vegetables and the
beautiful animals. That's actually

00:35:04 --> 00:35:08
			very good we should we should be
grateful to Allah subhana wa Tada

00:35:08 --> 00:35:12
			for the beauty of the dunya that
he's placed us in because he could

00:35:12 --> 00:35:18
			have placed us in a dry planet
like Mars, right? Mars is dry,

00:35:18 --> 00:35:23
			there's no barely any water there.
It's like a giant desert. He could

00:35:23 --> 00:35:28
			have put us in a planet like that.
But he put us in this big, huge

00:35:28 --> 00:35:33
			beautiful, basically garden,
right? That it's so amazing. And

00:35:33 --> 00:35:37
			there's just so many things that
we can appreciate when we look

00:35:37 --> 00:35:41
			around all the colors that we see
and the different variety of

00:35:41 --> 00:35:45
			animals as we said, right, and
flowers and flora and entries.

00:35:45 --> 00:35:49
			These are all reasons that we
should have what immense gratitude

00:35:49 --> 00:35:53
			to Allah subhanaw taala. So the
balance is so important to treat

00:35:53 --> 00:35:57
			her but dunya you have to have a
balanced view. And the best thing

00:35:57 --> 00:36:01
			to do is just to say I'm gonna
love everything that Allah loves

00:36:01 --> 00:36:04
			because Allah Subhana Allah, He is
what the most beautiful and he

00:36:04 --> 00:36:09
			loves beauty, beautiful things. So
we can always love that which

00:36:09 --> 00:36:14
			Allah subhanaw taala loves and he
dislikes, foul things, you know,

00:36:14 --> 00:36:17
			things that are not good. So we
should also dislike things that

00:36:17 --> 00:36:21
			are not good. Okay. Very good.
Hamdulillah. So that was the

00:36:21 --> 00:36:27
			second disease. The third disease
is called envy or has said, Okay,

00:36:27 --> 00:36:31
			what is this? This is a huge
disease of the heart. Okay, and a

00:36:31 --> 00:36:37
			lot of people are afflicted with
hesed. What is it? It is a form of

00:36:37 --> 00:36:41
			jealousy, which we're going to
clarify because sometimes envy and

00:36:41 --> 00:36:46
			jealousy are used to define
hazard, but they are slightly

00:36:46 --> 00:36:49
			different. But before we do that,
let's look at what our spider says

00:36:49 --> 00:36:54
			specifically about this disease.
He in chapter four, verse 54, he

00:36:54 --> 00:36:59
			says, or do these people envy,
what Allah has bestowed upon them

00:36:59 --> 00:37:03
			from His bounty? Okay, and what
again, explore what that word

00:37:03 --> 00:37:07
			means. And then he says, Seek
refuge from the evil of the

00:37:07 --> 00:37:13
			envier. When he envies, right, and
this is, we all know this, this

00:37:13 --> 00:37:17
			surah, right? Pull out the bitter
pill. falak, right. We inshallah

00:37:17 --> 00:37:23
			we all know this surah. The surah
is describing the envier. Okay.

00:37:23 --> 00:37:26
			And then the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam said, Stay away

00:37:26 --> 00:37:32
			from her said, from envy for her
said, eats up good deeds, like

00:37:32 --> 00:37:37
			fire eats up wood. So I want you
to imagine that, okay, when you go

00:37:37 --> 00:37:39
			put a fire somewhere, if you've
ever been camping, or if you have

00:37:39 --> 00:37:44
			a fireplace, as soon as you put
that firewood in and you light it

00:37:44 --> 00:37:47
			up, what happens to the wood, it
starts to crackle, right? And then

00:37:47 --> 00:37:51
			very quickly, you see it, just
there's smoke, and then all of a

00:37:51 --> 00:37:54
			sudden, there's this roaring fire.
If you come back and check on

00:37:54 --> 00:37:58
			that, after a few minutes, part of
it will be gone. The wood is

00:37:58 --> 00:38:03
			turned into ashes, right? So here
he's warning us that having has

00:38:03 --> 00:38:07
			said, which is a type of jealousy.
And again, we're going to define

00:38:07 --> 00:38:12
			it in a minute is so bad that it
eats up good deeds, like fire eats

00:38:12 --> 00:38:16
			up wood. So let's understand the
difference between envy and

00:38:16 --> 00:38:20
			jealousy. Because like I said,
it's usually used a lot the same

00:38:20 --> 00:38:20
			way.

00:38:21 --> 00:38:25
			And jealousy or envy is the desire
to have something that's not

00:38:25 --> 00:38:31
			yours. So basically, let's say you
go to school, okay? Or you're at

00:38:31 --> 00:38:35
			the mall, or you're at the masjid
or wherever, and you see someone

00:38:35 --> 00:38:40
			who looks your age, okay, maybe
they're 1516, maybe they're 1213.

00:38:40 --> 00:38:44
			But another person who looks your
age, and they're the same as you,

00:38:44 --> 00:38:47
			if you're a boy, he's a boy, if
you're a girl, she's a girl. You

00:38:47 --> 00:38:52
			look at them, and they're wearing
a shirt that you like, maybe it's

00:38:52 --> 00:38:57
			got some thing on it that you like
to maybe if you're into Legos, the

00:38:57 --> 00:39:01
			shirt is on Legos, or maybe it's
got unicorns and butterflies on

00:39:01 --> 00:39:04
			it, but whatever, whatever, you
see this person who's the same age

00:39:04 --> 00:39:09
			as you wearing, you really like
what they're wearing. And you wish

00:39:09 --> 00:39:15
			you had it. Okay, now, it's not
yours, right? And you don't want

00:39:15 --> 00:39:18
			that is so envy is like you don't
want them to have it. It's like,

00:39:18 --> 00:39:22
			why do they get to have that
that's not fair. I want that. It

00:39:22 --> 00:39:25
			would look better on me and you
started having all these really,

00:39:25 --> 00:39:30
			really bad thoughts. That's envy,
right? It's spite. It's basically

00:39:30 --> 00:39:35
			this desire that turns into this
resentment of towards the other

00:39:35 --> 00:39:40
			person, okay? Where you just
really don't even like that person

00:39:40 --> 00:39:43
			anymore. And you wish they didn't
have it because it bothers you, it

00:39:43 --> 00:39:47
			bothers you that they are wearing
it, and that you're wearing

00:39:47 --> 00:39:50
			something that is maybe an older
thing or that you've had for a

00:39:50 --> 00:39:54
			while or what it's not as
exciting. So you the envy just

00:39:54 --> 00:39:58
			turns that into your heart into
this, you know, really resentful,

00:39:59 --> 00:39:59
			you know

00:40:00 --> 00:40:04
			One thing that you just can't
think anything positive about that

00:40:04 --> 00:40:08
			person right? Now jealousy is an
emotion, right. And it typically

00:40:08 --> 00:40:12
			refers to the negative thoughts
and feelings of insecurity, fear

00:40:12 --> 00:40:18
			and anxiety, over anticipated loss
of something. So if you're worried

00:40:18 --> 00:40:22
			about losing something that can be
jealousy, right, like, Oh, I wish

00:40:22 --> 00:40:27
			I didn't, you know, I, like if
you're comparing yourself to

00:40:27 --> 00:40:30
			somebody else, that they have
something, but it's not that you

00:40:30 --> 00:40:35
			necessarily want them to not have
it, you just wish you could have

00:40:35 --> 00:40:39
			it to. Or if you already have it,
you're, you know, you wish that

00:40:39 --> 00:40:42
			you didn't lose it. So there's
these, it's a different feeling.

00:40:42 --> 00:40:45
			It's not about the person
themselves that you're looking at,

00:40:45 --> 00:40:49
			it's just about your own
insecurity. That's jealousy,

00:40:49 --> 00:40:53
			right? But envy is actually
wanting the other person to lose

00:40:53 --> 00:40:57
			what they have. So it's not just
that you like it, and that you

00:40:57 --> 00:41:01
			want it for yourself, and that
you're insecure over it, it's that

00:41:01 --> 00:41:04
			you actually want that other
person to not have it anymore. And

00:41:04 --> 00:41:09
			that's why it's so much worse. So
envy is much worse than jealousy.

00:41:09 --> 00:41:12
			Right? Jealousy can just come
from, like I said, so many

00:41:12 --> 00:41:15
			different things that may happen
to you. And it may not even

00:41:15 --> 00:41:19
			involve another person, it's just
something that you want, right?

00:41:20 --> 00:41:24
			Whereas envy is directed towards
another person. And that's why

00:41:24 --> 00:41:26
			it's so dangerous. Okay.

00:41:28 --> 00:41:32
			So what's the treatment? Well,
first, again, and we see the same

00:41:32 --> 00:41:36
			thing keep coming up, if you
notice most of the diseases of the

00:41:36 --> 00:41:40
			heart, the treatment is almost all
of the ones that we've learned so

00:41:40 --> 00:41:44
			far is remembrance of death.
Right? Why? Well, one of our, the

00:41:44 --> 00:41:49
			Sahaba, Buddha said, He who
remembers death often, then his

00:41:49 --> 00:41:53
			delight becomes less and his
envious SNESs of others

00:41:53 --> 00:41:57
			diminishes. So people who remember
death a lot, they just stopped

00:41:57 --> 00:42:01
			really caring about what other
people are doing, what they're

00:42:01 --> 00:42:05
			wearing, how much money they have,
what clothes you know, what kind

00:42:05 --> 00:42:08
			of car they drive, they don't
care, because they're more worried

00:42:08 --> 00:42:12
			and more concerned about the next
life. Right? That's what the

00:42:12 --> 00:42:16
			remembrance of death does, it
makes you focus on what's

00:42:16 --> 00:42:20
			important. And you stop worrying
about other people. And you

00:42:20 --> 00:42:23
			realize, like, oh, US brother is
the one who distributes, that

00:42:23 --> 00:42:27
			means he's the one who gives
everybody whatever, that he wills

00:42:27 --> 00:42:31
			for them. So for some people,
they're gonna have a lot of money.

00:42:31 --> 00:42:35
			But guess what, having a lot of
money is a big responsibility. And

00:42:35 --> 00:42:39
			if you don't do what He expects of
you, you're gonna have a lot to

00:42:39 --> 00:42:43
			answer for, right? So it's not
always so exciting. If you think

00:42:43 --> 00:42:46
			of it that way. For other people,
he might have given them

00:42:46 --> 00:42:51
			knowledge, and he expects, they
teach and use that knowledge to

00:42:51 --> 00:42:56
			teach other people, right. So
every everything is given via this

00:42:56 --> 00:43:01
			path that he gives to people
according to what he wants. And

00:43:01 --> 00:43:04
			therefore, there is no reason to
be jealous, because you have

00:43:04 --> 00:43:08
			certain things, blessings that
other people don't have, right? We

00:43:08 --> 00:43:13
			all have things that not everybody
else has. So the best thing to

00:43:13 --> 00:43:17
			thing to do is not focus on what
other people have. But rather

00:43:17 --> 00:43:20
			focus on what Allah has given you
and be grateful for it. And

00:43:20 --> 00:43:25
			remember, again, that death when
it comes, you don't take anything

00:43:25 --> 00:43:28
			with you, except for your
collarbone study, right? That's

00:43:28 --> 00:43:31
			all we should want to take with us
more than anything else. We want

00:43:31 --> 00:43:36
			that sound heart, right. But
nothing else really matters. So

00:43:36 --> 00:43:39
			that's why the reverse of death is
so good. And then remember those

00:43:39 --> 00:43:44
			early also said what this is to
help clarify, right? Because not

00:43:44 --> 00:43:49
			everybody who has these feelings
is afflicted with the disease

00:43:49 --> 00:43:54
			itself, right? So he said that if
someone hates envy, and is

00:43:54 --> 00:43:59
			ashamed, that he has it or she has
it in her heart, then that person

00:43:59 --> 00:44:03
			is not really an envious person.
So if you've ever felt that way

00:44:03 --> 00:44:06
			about someone where you might have
felt envy, maybe you went to

00:44:06 --> 00:44:10
			someone's house and their house
was bigger than yours, maybe, you

00:44:10 --> 00:44:15
			know, you saw someone at school
and their car, they can't their

00:44:15 --> 00:44:19
			mom and dad came and pick them up
in a really nice sports car. And

00:44:19 --> 00:44:22
			you were like, Man, I wish my
parents could have that. You know,

00:44:22 --> 00:44:26
			if you've ever had those feelings,
but then later you realize or

00:44:26 --> 00:44:29
			maybe you're realizing right now
as we're talking about this, that

00:44:29 --> 00:44:32
			those feelings aren't good to
have. And you feel bad about it.

00:44:32 --> 00:44:35
			Like it's, it's like, oh stuff,
oh, I wish I didn't think that

00:44:35 --> 00:44:39
			about that person, or that thing.
That's a really good sign. It

00:44:39 --> 00:44:43
			means that inshallah you don't
have envy, because it's natural

00:44:43 --> 00:44:46
			sometimes to just see something
that someone else has, and like

00:44:46 --> 00:44:50
			it, that's okay. It's a but
remember, envy is when you don't

00:44:50 --> 00:44:54
			want the other person to have it
anymore. And you wish that they

00:44:54 --> 00:44:58
			were to lose it. This is where it
gets really bad, right? So if that

00:44:58 --> 00:44:59
			feeling has ever come in your
heart

00:45:00 --> 00:45:03
			All you have to do is say stuff
for Allah, may Allah forgive me

00:45:03 --> 00:45:08
			and inshallah try not to have that
feeling again. And remember that

00:45:08 --> 00:45:11
			Allah Subhan Allah is the One who
distributes everything right.

00:45:12 --> 00:45:19
			Okay, so one thing to clarify here
is that there is an acceptable

00:45:19 --> 00:45:24
			type of envy and it's called the
victor. Okay. And this is being

00:45:24 --> 00:45:28
			competitive for the pleasure of
Allah subhana wa Tada. Okay,

00:45:28 --> 00:45:32
			that's called Victor. And this is
perfectly fine. So there's the

00:45:32 --> 00:45:35
			harmful envy, which we just talked
about. And now we're talking about

00:45:36 --> 00:45:40
			the acceptable form. But there's
two particular things that you

00:45:40 --> 00:45:45
			have to have a HIPAA for, okay? So
you can have crypto, here's the

00:45:45 --> 00:45:49
			Hadith, there's no acceptable
envying cave of that, except for

00:45:49 --> 00:45:55
			two people. One who has wealth and
spends it towards good causes. The

00:45:55 --> 00:45:59
			other is one who has wisdom and
teaches it to others. So what this

00:45:59 --> 00:46:07
			tells us is that you can have this
competitive, good RIPTA for a

00:46:07 --> 00:46:12
			wealthy person, because you see
them that they're able to do so

00:46:12 --> 00:46:15
			much, right? They're able to maybe
build a masjid for the, for the

00:46:15 --> 00:46:19
			sake of Allah subhanaw taala, or,
you know, given charity to all

00:46:19 --> 00:46:23
			these different really important
causes. And so you look at them,

00:46:23 --> 00:46:26
			and you're like, oh, yeah, well, I
wish I could have wealth too,

00:46:26 --> 00:46:30
			because if I had money, I would do
this, that I would do that, and I

00:46:30 --> 00:46:34
			would buy my mom a beautiful home,
and I would buy my father this and

00:46:34 --> 00:46:38
			you want to just give your money
for good, right? That is HIPAA.

00:46:38 --> 00:46:42
			And that's perfectly fine. And
then the other type is when you

00:46:42 --> 00:46:46
			see someone who has wisdom, right?
They're knowledgeable. Allah

00:46:46 --> 00:46:50
			subhana, Allah has given them
knowledge of the dean, or maybe

00:46:50 --> 00:46:55
			they went to school, and they were
able to do really well in school,

00:46:55 --> 00:46:58
			and they're now working and
helping so many people, you can

00:46:58 --> 00:47:03
			have ELLIPTA for that type of a
person, because what you're doing

00:47:03 --> 00:47:08
			is saying, Well, if I had the same
opportunity are the same blessing

00:47:08 --> 00:47:13
			that they had, I too, would want
to do good works. So everything is

00:47:13 --> 00:47:16
			connected back to Allah subhanho
wa Taala with a clip that it's not

00:47:16 --> 00:47:19
			that you don't want the other
person to have it. It's not

00:47:19 --> 00:47:23
			because you have a dunya where you
just love power and money and

00:47:23 --> 00:47:28
			wealth and status. And all you're
focusing on is wishing to have

00:47:28 --> 00:47:32
			those things. This is about doing
good to please Allah subhanaw

00:47:32 --> 00:47:37
			taala and that is permissible, so
we can definitely have that. Okay,

00:47:37 --> 00:47:41
			so inshallah I think this is yeah,
that's the end of the presentation

00:47:41 --> 00:47:47
			today, you guys. So let me stop
here because I'm gonna do about

00:47:47 --> 00:47:50
			three a day. I don't want to
overwhelm you guys. There's a lot

00:47:50 --> 00:47:54
			of content. Okay. So I want to
make sure that you guys, you know,

00:47:54 --> 00:47:59
			have clear answers to your
questions if you have any. So

00:47:59 --> 00:48:02
			let's go ahead and use the
remaining time that we have for

00:48:02 --> 00:48:08
			q&a. So inshallah I hope you guys
enjoyed the presentation today we

00:48:08 --> 00:48:14
			talked about iniquity, right. We
talked about hubba dunya. We

00:48:14 --> 00:48:18
			talked about envy. Mashallah. So
three diseases of the heart, but

00:48:18 --> 00:48:21
			let's go ahead and hear from you
guys. I'm going to check the chat

00:48:21 --> 00:48:23
			box now. Okay.

00:48:26 --> 00:48:28
			Bismillah? Wow, there's a lot of
questions here. That's

00:48:29 --> 00:48:29
			okay.

00:48:30 --> 00:48:33
			Is it okay for one to end view
without knowing that they are

00:48:33 --> 00:48:38
			envying? So very good. But I think
that you asked that question. And

00:48:38 --> 00:48:43
			I answered it, right. If you have
this feeling, and you're not aware

00:48:43 --> 00:48:47
			of it, there's no responsibility
on you. Right? We're not held

00:48:47 --> 00:48:50
			accountable for what we don't
know. So if you ever had that

00:48:50 --> 00:48:53
			feeling, then just say I've
suffered a lot. It's okay, because

00:48:53 --> 00:48:58
			you didn't know that you had envy.
And now you're asking Allah to

00:48:58 --> 00:49:01
			remove it from your heart that Oh
Allah, let me be happy with what

00:49:01 --> 00:49:04
			you've given me and not worry
about what other people have, and

00:49:04 --> 00:49:08
			actually be happy for them to
write because that is even better.

00:49:08 --> 00:49:11
			If you're if you see someone
succeeding if you see someone have

00:49:11 --> 00:49:15
			something, right? The prophesy
Salam said that you haven't

00:49:15 --> 00:49:19
			completed your faith, right? Until
you love for your brother or

00:49:19 --> 00:49:23
			sister, what you love for
yourself. So if you want really

00:49:23 --> 00:49:28
			strong faith, like Amen, and then
you want to be happy for when you

00:49:28 --> 00:49:32
			see someone else have something,
sell hamdulillah that's great.

00:49:32 --> 00:49:36
			Allah gave them that thing that
shows that you actually understand

00:49:36 --> 00:49:41
			that it's more important to please
Allah subhanaw taala and to be

00:49:41 --> 00:49:45
			content with what he's given you
than to ever let these feelings of

00:49:45 --> 00:49:49
			hesed and jealousy enter your
heart where you want Oh, the

00:49:49 --> 00:49:54
			biller harmed on someone else just
because you can't control your own

00:49:54 --> 00:49:58
			desire, right? The desire is so
strong that you actually would

00:49:58 --> 00:49:59
			want someone else to lose it. That

00:50:00 --> 00:50:03
			That's why it's just not right.
Right. Okay, so let's look at the

00:50:03 --> 00:50:06
			rest of these questions. You guys
have so many Mashallah.

00:50:08 --> 00:50:11
			Okay, so someone asked me this is
a good question because it's

00:50:11 --> 00:50:14
			important, what if you're scared
of death and how to remember

00:50:14 --> 00:50:17
			death, you know, being scared of
death, especially for some of you

00:50:17 --> 00:50:20
			who are younger, it's perfectly
understandable, you know, you're

00:50:20 --> 00:50:23
			just starting your life and all of
a sudden, you're being told about

00:50:23 --> 00:50:27
			death, it kind of can seem like,
whoa, you know, that's, that's a

00:50:27 --> 00:50:31
			little too much for me. And that's
understandable. But we kind of

00:50:31 --> 00:50:34
			have to look at this from a
different lens. When we say to

00:50:34 --> 00:50:38
			remember death, that doesn't mean
to get dark about death. And just

00:50:38 --> 00:50:41
			to start thinking about all the
scary parts of death, it means to

00:50:41 --> 00:50:45
			just think of death as a like,
we're all travelers, right? And

00:50:45 --> 00:50:48
			that's how you have to really look
at yourself, is that almost

00:50:48 --> 00:50:52
			Panatela he created the soul to
travel through different worlds.

00:50:52 --> 00:50:57
			Okay, so before we were here, for
example, where were we right?

00:50:57 --> 00:51:01
			Before we were born, we were with
Allah subhanaw taala. And then he

00:51:01 --> 00:51:05
			put our souls into the womb of our
mothers, and then we came into

00:51:05 --> 00:51:09
			this world. So we are, we've
already been traveling, we just

00:51:09 --> 00:51:12
			don't have a memory of that. So
when you think about death, you

00:51:12 --> 00:51:15
			want to just think about it, like
it's the next part of your travel,

00:51:15 --> 00:51:18
			right? And it's not something to
be scared about, because you're

00:51:18 --> 00:51:22
			getting closer to Allah subhanaw
taala. And as long as you have

00:51:22 --> 00:51:26
			belief and Iman and sha Allah,
then you'll be okay. Right? That's

00:51:26 --> 00:51:29
			the most important thing. And
that's why hamdulillah your

00:51:29 --> 00:51:33
			parents are doing their
responsibility of teaching you

00:51:33 --> 00:51:36
			your religion, of teaching you who
of Allah subhanaw taala is of

00:51:36 --> 00:51:39
			teaching you who the Prophet
sallallahu wasallam is teaching

00:51:39 --> 00:51:43
			you how to pray, teaching you how
to have all of these things, to

00:51:43 --> 00:51:46
			know all these things in sha
Allah, so that when you go to the

00:51:46 --> 00:51:50
			next part of your travels, which
for most of you, inshallah is

00:51:50 --> 00:51:52
			going to be a long, long way from
now. So you don't want to think

00:51:52 --> 00:51:55
			about it like, oh, it's going to
happen tomorrow. No, we're just

00:51:55 --> 00:51:59
			saying that death is a natural
part of life, everything, it's

00:51:59 --> 00:52:03
			just kind of the cycle of this
world. Right? And so it one the

00:52:03 --> 00:52:07
			our time comes in sha Allah, it's
just the next part of the travel

00:52:07 --> 00:52:12
			and then the final place the final
destination is inshallah going to

00:52:12 --> 00:52:15
			be in Jannah where we're all going
to be together with our loved ones

00:52:15 --> 00:52:19
			and it's going to be the most
exciting time and we can't even

00:52:19 --> 00:52:23
			come you know, compare anything to
it. Nothing we've ever done in the

00:52:23 --> 00:52:27
			dunya can compare to what's gonna
what's gonna be waiting for us in

00:52:27 --> 00:52:30
			Jana. So you want to look at death
like that like it? Well, if I want

00:52:30 --> 00:52:33
			Jana, I kind of have to go through
this part part of the travel

00:52:33 --> 00:52:36
			right, it can't skip it. But
that's it, not to get dark about

00:52:36 --> 00:52:40
			it. Okay. And so I hope that
answered your question. Let's see.

00:52:40 --> 00:52:42
			So there's a lot of good questions
here. Mashallah.

00:52:44 --> 00:52:47
			Okay, so very good question about
killing a bug if it's annoying, or

00:52:47 --> 00:52:52
			in your house. So there's a
difference. The example I gave was

00:52:52 --> 00:52:55
			on the street minding its own
business or at a park or in this,

00:52:55 --> 00:52:59
			you know, school yard, or in the
sidewalk even right? That bug is

00:52:59 --> 00:53:05
			living its life. It's not a pest.
But if a bug becomes a pest in

00:53:05 --> 00:53:09
			your house, or you're threatened
by it, right, there's some very

00:53:09 --> 00:53:13
			poisonous spiders for example, and
you're afraid is this gonna bite

00:53:13 --> 00:53:17
			me is Could it harm me? That's
different, right? And in that

00:53:17 --> 00:53:21
			case, yes, you can absolutely
protect yourself if you have to.

00:53:21 --> 00:53:26
			My boys there on the the chat
here, we have this plastic bottle,

00:53:27 --> 00:53:30
			and it's called a spider catcher.
Okay, well, that's what we call

00:53:30 --> 00:53:34
			it. It's really just a plastic
container from an old I think, is

00:53:34 --> 00:53:37
			it almonds, maybe you're thinking
go grab it, but it's basically

00:53:37 --> 00:53:42
			just a container that we got from
Costco. And once the omens or

00:53:42 --> 00:53:45
			whatever was inside of it
finished, then we put a label on

00:53:45 --> 00:53:48
			it and it's called our spider
catcher. So what we do is if we

00:53:48 --> 00:53:51
			see a spider anywhere in the
house, we quickly go grab the

00:53:51 --> 00:53:55
			spider catcher and we scoop it up
and we take it outside. That's

00:53:55 --> 00:53:58
			what we do because we try to be
very mindful about life in

00:53:58 --> 00:54:03
			general. So if we see bugs that
are not harmful, or maybe that are

00:54:03 --> 00:54:07
			you know, that they're not moving
fast and flying at you, you could

00:54:07 --> 00:54:10
			easily scoop them up and we'll do
that but everybody's different. I

00:54:10 --> 00:54:13
			know some people are very you
know, they have a phobia right

00:54:13 --> 00:54:17
			arachnophobia that's a real thing.
They can really get like Scream if

00:54:17 --> 00:54:20
			they see a spider you know you
have to preserve your life and if

00:54:20 --> 00:54:27
			you feel scared to that level head
inshallah but try to again if you

00:54:27 --> 00:54:32
			can not kill if there's no harm
that's the point of it. Okay? As

00:54:32 --> 00:54:36
			long as there's there's no harm
especially in nature like we

00:54:36 --> 00:54:39
			should never kill things in
nature. That's just really not

00:54:39 --> 00:54:43
			right. Because that's not in our
home that's that those things are

00:54:43 --> 00:54:46
			aware there should be Allah
created the world for all of us to

00:54:46 --> 00:54:50
			be in right and it's not fair to
say, Oh, I'm just bored right now.

00:54:50 --> 00:54:53
			I'm gonna go squash a bug for no
reason. Oh, the biller this is

00:54:53 --> 00:54:58
			actually completely forbidden.
Okay. All right. So let's see

00:55:00 --> 00:55:01
			Can you still? Okay? Was it?

00:55:10 --> 00:55:14
			Okay, isn't a person going to
become sad if they didn't think

00:55:14 --> 00:55:16
			about death? So I hope I answered
that question. I should, because

00:55:17 --> 00:55:20
			if you think about death as just
death itself, yeah, you might be

00:55:20 --> 00:55:23
			sad. But if you think about death
as really just a part of the

00:55:23 --> 00:55:27
			journey to Jannah it's not so sad,
right? So it's really the way that

00:55:27 --> 00:55:30
			you think about death. But the
point is, is when you remember

00:55:30 --> 00:55:33
			death, what that's reminding you
is, watch it. Watch yourself,

00:55:33 --> 00:55:37
			right. You're telling your
enough's and shaytaan? No, I'm not

00:55:37 --> 00:55:38
			going to.

00:55:39 --> 00:55:43
			I'm sorry, one second. How did
that happen? is seen.

00:55:46 --> 00:55:51
			Okay. Yeah, sorry, you guys. That
got I don't know how that

00:55:51 --> 00:55:54
			happened. But we are not taking
over the cameras. Okay, please,

00:55:54 --> 00:55:58
			because this is being recorded. So
don't take over the cameras.

00:55:59 --> 00:56:00
			Let's see here.

00:56:02 --> 00:56:05
			Okay, this Mala. So back to the
questions here.

00:56:06 --> 00:56:07
			Um,

00:56:10 --> 00:56:13
			my dad, there's so I'm just going
over because I'm getting some

00:56:13 --> 00:56:16
			repeat questions here is real
diseases.

00:56:21 --> 00:56:23
			Okay, so yeah, we do have someone
who said I'm naturally scared of

00:56:23 --> 00:56:24
			spiders.

00:56:26 --> 00:56:28
			Yeah, if you're really afraid that
it's going to bite you. That's

00:56:28 --> 00:56:30
			understandable. Okay.

00:56:36 --> 00:56:40
			Yes, if you are, you know, working
with an animal and you

00:56:40 --> 00:56:43
			accidentally hurt it, there's
nothing that's okay. You know, as

00:56:43 --> 00:56:47
			long as it's accidental things
accidents happen, right? Sometimes

00:56:47 --> 00:56:52
			you might run into it or pocket
and it gets hurt. Just, you know,

00:56:52 --> 00:56:55
			try to take care of it. Because
animals do have feelings, right?

00:56:55 --> 00:56:58
			There's that beautiful story of
once, when the prophesy centum was

00:56:58 --> 00:57:03
			with his companions, they were out
somewhere. And he kind of left for

00:57:03 --> 00:57:09
			a little bit. And what and one of
the Sahaba he saw a bird's nest.

00:57:09 --> 00:57:14
			And he just thought, hmm, I want
to go ticket. So he just took a

00:57:14 --> 00:57:18
			nest full of little eggs and
chicks. And he put it in his, you

00:57:18 --> 00:57:22
			know, part of the caravan. And
then they started walking, and the

00:57:22 --> 00:57:26
			prophesy said eventually joined
them. And when he joined them, all

00:57:26 --> 00:57:30
			of a sudden, this bird from up top
started flapping its wings really,

00:57:30 --> 00:57:34
			really like vigorously which is
means like, intense, right? And so

00:57:34 --> 00:57:37
			he looked up and then the prophesy
said and remember one of his

00:57:37 --> 00:57:40
			miracles was that he could
communicate with animals, very

00:57:40 --> 00:57:43
			similar to who which other
prophet, let's see, who knows,

00:57:43 --> 00:57:46
			which other prophet could
communicate with animals. Right,

00:57:46 --> 00:57:50
			but he could very good mashallah
Hassan. So he could communicate

00:57:50 --> 00:57:55
			like, prophets, so they men, so he
understood from this bird that

00:57:55 --> 00:58:00
			what was happening, that someone,
it's a mother bird that someone

00:58:00 --> 00:58:03
			took her babies. So then he
immediately turned to his

00:58:03 --> 00:58:08
			companions and said, Which of you
has heard the feelings of this

00:58:08 --> 00:58:12
			mother bird, and taken its babies?
And then that Sahaba was like, oh,

00:58:12 --> 00:58:16
			sorry, it was me. And then he
ordered him to put it back where

00:58:16 --> 00:58:21
			he found it. So the browsers or in
the words that he used, he's

00:58:21 --> 00:58:26
			telling us what, that animals have
feelings. Okay? That's really

00:58:26 --> 00:58:30
			important for us to remember
because they do have feelings. And

00:58:30 --> 00:58:33
			so if you accidentally hurt it, I
used to have a cat. And there were

00:58:33 --> 00:58:36
			times where, you know, we were
playing around, and she would

00:58:36 --> 00:58:39
			scratch me, and then I would kind
of pause at her and we were

00:58:39 --> 00:58:43
			playing, but if I ever felt like
she, like I did something to her I

00:58:43 --> 00:58:45
			because I'm sorry, due to you
know, there's times actually she

00:58:45 --> 00:58:49
			would sneak past me and I almost
accidentally trip over her, you

00:58:49 --> 00:58:52
			know, but I felt bad because I,
you know, accidentally, I didn't

00:58:52 --> 00:58:56
			know she was there. So we have to
remember their animals, we're

00:58:56 --> 00:59:00
			going to be held accountable. But
just to be, you know, nice enough

00:59:00 --> 00:59:05
			to at least say sorry, and to try
to make them feel better. But as

00:59:05 --> 00:59:10
			far as it being a haram or a sin,
if you do it on purpose. Yes, of

00:59:10 --> 00:59:13
			course, that's sinful, It's haram,
but if it's an accident and shot,

00:59:13 --> 00:59:16
			okay, okay. All right. So let's
see.

00:59:20 --> 00:59:23
			Very good question. I have a
question about budgie. Is it where

00:59:23 --> 00:59:26
			narcissism comes from, you know,

00:59:28 --> 00:59:31
			potentially what you know, it
could, it could very well come

00:59:31 --> 00:59:34
			from that. I mean, if you are
willing to hurt other people for

00:59:34 --> 00:59:39
			power, then it's likely that you
have, you know, this problem that

00:59:39 --> 00:59:45
			you are this belief that you think
you are better and more valuable,

00:59:46 --> 00:59:49
			you know, as a human being than
other people, and that's really

00:59:49 --> 00:59:52
			the root source of narcissism,
right? You think of yourself as

00:59:52 --> 00:59:55
			better than other people and
you're willing to hurt other

00:59:55 --> 00:59:59
			people if you have to. So in a
way, inshallah all right i

01:00:00 --> 01:00:05
			I'm so very good. All right, thank
you guys, we have come to the end

01:00:05 --> 01:00:10
			of the session and you guys a lot
of your questions were or very

01:00:10 --> 01:00:13
			good questions. I think that I
thank you all for, for

01:00:14 --> 01:00:20
			participating. Mashallah, that was
awesome. And we will have in

01:00:20 --> 01:00:25
			Sharla. Let's see, sorry, let me
check the date. The next class we

01:00:25 --> 01:00:29
			have is going to be next Tuesday.
Okay, so one week from

01:00:30 --> 01:00:33
			now, today's Thursday, I was gonna

01:00:33 --> 01:00:36
			week, a little less than a week

			four sets of diseases in sha
Allah. Okay, so, inshallah we'll

			see guys, let's go ahead and end

			beautiful faces washed out a lot.
