Hosai Mojaddidi – Daisy’s Shahadah (Declaration of Faith)

			When I
		

			said I want to go, everyone, we
are so honored today here at MCC
		

			because we have our soon to be new
sister Daisy, who came to the
		

			masjid recently was interested in
learning about Islam worked with
		

			the Convert program here, the new
Muslim program, excuse me to learn
		

			more about Islam. And so she has
decided today that she wants to
		

			take her shahada, which is the
declaration of faith and enter
		

			this beautiful faith. And we are
so honored to have you with us and
		

			that you selected this space. And

			And I just explained to the

			explain it again. When a person
chooses to enter Islam, it's very
		

			simple. All that's required is
that they make a testimony of
		

			faith, whatever, what they believe
in front of witnesses. So it's
		

			something that they articulate
outside because you clearly have
		

			belief, right? You already have
that belief. That's why you're
		

			here. But now it's a matter of
making sure that there's witnesses
		

			to hear your testimony of faith.
So that's what we're going to do.
		

			And it's two simple statements.
Okay, the first statement, I'll
		

			say it in English for you. And
then what we'll do is, after I
		

			explained the translation of what
we're going to say, we'll say them
		

			in Arabic, and we'll go slowly,
once it's done. That's the process
		

			you've entered Islam. Okay. So
this the first statement is, I
		

			testify that there is nothing
worthy of worship, except God. So
		

			can you say that for me? I testify
that there's nothing really with
		

			God. Very good. And then the
second statement is, I testify
		

			that Muhammad is his last and
final messenger testify that
		

			Muhammad is His final last
messenger Excellent. Mashallah.
		

			Very good. So now the Arabic of
those two statements we're gonna
		

			say together, okay. And I'm gonna
go slow. Alright. So the first
		

			part is, Ash had to shed and
		

			let ilaha
		

			IL Allah
		

			wa
		

			should I do?
		

			Or should do, anna
		

			Muhammadan
		

			rasul Allah. Rasool Allah subhana
wa COVID. Collect by myself.

			sister in Islam. We welcome you to
