First of all, I wanna really welcome you
to the Zaytuna studio that we're officially opening,
and it's just been an extraordinary blessing. It's
taken a long time to get here, but
we are here and we're really looking forward
to providing wonderful content for our community.
I really want to
extend an extraordinary
sense of gratitude
on behalf of our faculty,
our staff, the college, but also the college's
community.
To Khaled and Tofiq Saleh,
who generously donated, but also
showed us an immense amount of patience
in the studio and the time that it's
taken to come to fruition. So I just
wanna thank them for extending this remarkable gift
on behalf of their son, Midhat.
I feel very hopeful that
the type of learning that we're reviving here
and extending to our global community
is a type of learning that's really gonna
nourish the hearts. It's gonna nourish the souls.
It's going to change the the way that
you view the world. We're going to have
a course on constitutional law. We're gonna have
a course on logic. We have wonderful professors,
doctor Lawrence Jannuzzi,
doctor Phil Chang, that are doing those. We're
going to be doing also
the Maisnawi with Faredun Mujedidi. We're going to
be doing a course on comparative Abrahamic theology
with doctor Aliyah Tay, courses in Kalam, courses
in fiqh, in Tajweed,
in many other areas. I really hope that
you all join us in building this community
of learning. We're really looking forward to providing
world class content, God willing, and just, doing
something that people are gonna benefit from all
around the world.
