Haitham al-Haddad – Priest or Muslim

			Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa salatu salam ala Rasulillah brothers and sisters, here I am in Katelyn
and this is the only Masjid in Catherine and this is small town part of North Hampshire. Okay, so
And here I am with our brother in mashallah Baraka Allah. He is the most senior person in this
Masjid in this community and he is the main founder of this Masjid. He was telling me about an
amazing story about a person who accepted Islam. Out of nowhere, please listen to the story directly

			And one day when I visited, someone had sent a letter. And the letter was basically not opened. So
when I asked them what the letter was about, I opened it. And mashallah, it was from a non Muslim
brother, who wanted to accept Islam. And he says, I'm interested in Islam, and I want you to take
the Shahada.
		

			So I contacted him and got a long story short went to his house, that's where the arrangements were
made.
		

			So you told me that the person told you, okay, please visit me in my house. That's right. Yeah, I
gave him the option. I said, you can come to the masjid or come to my house, we can meet in a park
in a cafe? And he said, No, no, if you can come to my house and visit me here. And again, he gave me
a specific time that, you know, it's only for those 4045 minutes,
		

			a specific time for a specific length of time.
		

			So I went to his house, knocked on the door. And when I knocked on the door, he invited me in when I
went into the house. Initially, I thought it was a setup setup, because the house was just covered
in
		

			paraphernalia of, you know, sort of deep Christian family, they will process pictures of,
		

			you know, there was Jesus and Mary and all sorts of things. So I was a bit confused. And I said to
him, you know, are you okay? That you want to take the Shahada? He said, Yes, yes. He said, Don't
worry about this is the only reason I've invited you here is that my parents are quite devout
Catholics, and they wanted me to become
		

			a priest. And the reason for that time was he says, I do not want my parents to know, at the time
being, and they want to be back in 45 minutes. So if you can have this discharge now.
		

			And then I asked him, I said, How do you become interested in Islam? Why is anyone spoken to you?
Have you visited a masjid? He said, No, no. He said, I want you to become a presence what my parents
wanted. And I just wanted to find something to basically attack Islam with and this is picked up a
copy of the Quran, started reading it to see what I could find that would then deliver in my sermon.
		

			Yeah, yeah. And he said, The only time I was turning a page to find something that, you know, could
find against the religion is it, it was really, you know, hitting my heart strings. And he said, on
every page, I was finding things I was agreeing with. And he said, as a result of that, I'm now
convinced that I want to be a Muslim.
		

			So sometime, you know, we think that we're doing all the things but it's it's Allah's Deen Allah's
religion. And when he was to accept someone, he doesn't even that doesn't even need us. He wouldn't
want those people. So if there's any opportunities, you will get brothers to reach out to people.
Give a copy of the Quran, talk something nice, always take that opportunity. But that brother
mashallah he did take the shahada, he came to the masjid and of the community. I want to add to
		

			this, my dear brothers and sisters, please proud of who you are as Muslims. Allah, Allah Allah says
that the onset of a pseudo hope in order within the hero either been equally well I will carry on

			Ah, you know, she's a teenager. She's surrounded by desires. Why does she want to accept Islam?
Islam is not the truth. Why doesn't Why does she accepted this religion that as they say, the
negative, the negative stereotyping the negative media, the religion that will control or will
restrict, no clapping, no, no no womanizing or no boyfriend, girlfriend, no drinking, no this no
