Fariq Naik – What Distinguishes Islam from Other Ideologies

The topic of my talk is Islam, the solution for humanity. Islam comes

from the root word Salam which means peace. It is also derived

from the Arabic word sin, which means to submit your will to the

will of Allah subhanaw taala. Thus, Islam means peace acquired

by submitting your will, to the will of Allah subhanaw taala. So

the topic of today's talk is peace acquired by submitting your will,

to the will of Allah subhanaw taala the solution for humanity.

Islam. Unlike other religions, which cater only to the spiritual

needs of the body, or the only cater to the physical needs of the

body, certain isms for example, materialism, communism, they only

cater to the physical needs of the body, while other religions only

cater to the spiritual needs of the soul.

Islam caters to both aspects, the spiritual needs of the soul as

well as the physical needs of the body. Islam is a way of life is a

dean.

So it caters to the spiritual needs of the soul, as well as the

physical needs of the body

and the Glorious Quran, it is a solution for humanity, the

Glorious Quran, it is the most positive book in the world. It is

a proclamation to humanity, it is a fountain of Mercy and wisdom. It

is a warning to the heedless, A Guide to the errand or solace to

the suffering and the whole to those in despair, the Glorious

Quran, it is the most positive book in the world. Now, when

anyone comes up with a solution, what will you do? You will want to

know the source you will want to know the authenticity. For

example, if a doctor gives a patient certain prescription, the

patient will want to know regarding this prescription, what

are the qualifications of the doctor. So whenever any

prescription is given to an individual, the person will want

to know who has given the prescription, is it given by a

doctor what is qualifications? Similarly, when we see that the

Glorious Quran, it is a solution for humanity. People would want to

know especially the non Muslims, who is the author of the Glorious

Quran, what is the source of the Glorious Quran? What is the

authenticity of the Glorious Quran and I cannot give you the solution

for humanity. I am zero in Islam, the best to give us human beings a

solution for humanity. It is the creator, the Lord of the universe,

the Lord who created us human beings, the Sustainer, the

Cherisher of human beings. He is the best who can tell us regarding

the solution for humanity. So the Glorious Quran, it has the

solution to the problems of humanity.
