I am suffering from OCD, anxiety and depression
since 14 years.

from OCD.
They suffer from anxiety.
They suffer from depression.
What is OCD?
OCD is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
And a person, and we find this that
it happens to many Muslims.
For example, if a Muslim, he does Wudu
and he's suffering from OCD.
So he thinks that he has not done
his Wudu correctly and he repeats his Wudu.
And after repeating his Wudu again, he thinks
that he has not done his Wudu correctly
and he repeats his Wudu.
Even though his Wudu, he has done it
correctly.
The same is the case with Salah.
A person offers Salah and he thinks that
he has not offered his Salah correctly and
then he offers his Salah again and then
he offers his Salah again and he keeps
repeating this many times.
The best cure for any disease or for
any problem, whether it be OCD, whether it
be anxiety, whether it be depression is reading
the glorious Quran.
If you know Arabic as a language, it
is the best.
If you do not know Arabic as a
language, read the translation of the glorious Quran.
Comprehend upon the meaning of what you are
reciting.
And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in
the glorious Quran that the glorious Quran, it
is a shifa, it is a healing.
And it will bring about tranquility and satisfaction
in your life.
Read the glorious Quran with understanding on a
daily basis and Inshallah, it will help you

It is compulsory to offer the five daily
prayer in the Masjid for the men.
Yet, unfortunately, many Muslims they offer Salah at
home.
So offering the five daily prayer is very
important.
Besides this, offering the tahajjud prayer is very
important.
Call upon Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala during
the last one third of the night and
ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to cure
your problems, whether it be OCD, anxiety, depression.
Unfortunately, many of us Muslims, we do not
want to sacrifice our sleep and then we
complain and we say I have this problem,
I have anxiety, I have depression, I feel
lonely.
One of the main reasons is you are
not turning to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Non-Muslims, they find peace, satisfaction and tranquility
in Islam and many of them they accept
Islam.
So why can't we Muslims find peace, tranquility
and satisfaction in Islam?
Non-Muslims, many of them when they just
hear the Quran, tears fall down.
They are impressed with the recitation of the
glorious Quran.
Many of them they don't understand Arabic.
Why?
Because it is the word of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala.
So when the glorious Quran can have an
impact on the non-Muslims, why can't it
have an impact on us Muslims?
So read the glorious Quran regularly with understanding,
offer the five daily prayer, which is very
important, offer the tahajjud prayer, the qiyamul layl
during the last one third of the night
and besides this offer the sunnah al-rawatib
or sunnah al-mu'akkadah and sunnah al
-ghayr al-mu'akkadah as well.
Besides this also, you can attend, you can
go to a counsellor.
If you go to a general counsellor who's
not well versed with the Islamic Sharia, so
it may not be helpful, but try to
go to a counsellor who's well versed with
the Islamic Sharia.
For example, a scholar, an authentic scholar who's
well versed with the Islamic Sharia and he
also knows regarding counselling.
He's an expert as far as counselling is
concerned and inshallah this will help.
Besides this, see to it that you also
attend, you also listen to Islamic talks of
authentic scholars and there are several scholars that
are available today and several da'ees as
well that are available on Peace TV, that
are available on the Al-Hidayah platform and
inshallah this will help you and give you
more understanding of the religion of Islam and
inshallah it will help you to overcome your
OCD, anxiety, depression and I pray to Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala that all those brothers
and sisters around the world who have this
problem of OCD, anxiety, depression, may Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala ease it for them and
may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala help them
to come out of these problems.
