What is the authentic way of praying?
I have heard that we should not pray
it like Maghrib,
but in the local masjid, everyone prays with
the same as Mahrib,
except that in this 3rd raka, they do
takbir and they recite.
The wither prayer, it is very important.
And as far as the prayer is concerned,
there are basically two ways of offering the
prayer
as per the sunnah of our beloved prophet
Muhammad, Peace and blessings be upon
him. The first way, and this is better
than the second way, is that when we
offer the prayer, we offer

and then we do taslim and then we
offer 1 raka. So 3 raka, we offer
it as 2 plus 1. 2 raka, we
do taslim, complete the 2 raka and then
we offer 1 raka individually and it is
recommended as a sunnah that we offer that
we recite dua al kunut in
the single raka that we are offering.
The second way is that we offer all
3 raka together.
But in the second raka, we do not
sit for and we get up directly. So
we offer all 3 raka together, and it
is recommended that recite the dua al khunut
in the 3rd raka. So both these ways
are accepted.
The first way, it is better as compared
to the second
method of offering with their salah. The tahajid
prayer, it is very important.
I have given a course titled
Priyamul Layil, the most important sunnah after the
farayd. So it is very important that we
offer the night prayer and we are punctual
as far as night prayer is concerned.
Especially
during these times,
wherein we can get up during the last
1 third of the night and do duato
for our Palestinian brothers and sisters. We should
see it with that we are punctual during
these times and generally as well so that
when we get up at night, we can
do dua for a Palestinian brother and sister.
This is the time wherein Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala,
he will
answer.
He will respond
to our supplications.
