There there, again these
gatherings are are considered gatherings of the akhirah,
not gatherings of the dunya. These are gatherings
in which
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala announces
to the angels that everyone in this gathering
when they stand up is forgiven.
And we enter this gathering hope with the
hopes that that be proven true for us,
that we have the intention that Allah, execute
our sins by these gatherings and raise our
ranks by these gathering gatherings
and make us amongst those who Allah
says
that they are such a people
that those who sit with them will never
be wretched. So we hope Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala makes us amongst those and joins us
with that group.
As just as these types of gatherings are
given preference by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala over
other types of gatherings.
And there are certain places which Allah loves
more than other places like the Masjid over
where the prophet said, salallahu alayhi wa sallam,
that the most beloved places to Allah are
the Masjids and the most
odious places to Allah are the markets.
And there is just like there is places
which Allah has preferred over others,
there are people who Allah has preferred over
others.
The the prophets are not equal to those
who are non prophets. Those who are righteous
can never be equal or can never be
equated by those who are sinful.
Allah says, should we make those who are
Muslim and those who are obedient like those
who are criminals?
Allah has distinguished between people between people as
well as well. Right? But just as there
are places and people who are given preference
over others,
there are times that are given preference by
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala over others.
Right? As the prophet said that that
the the best of days is the day
of Jum'ah.
And the day the best day of the
week is the day of Jum'ah.
But just like that there are special occasions
throughout the year
that the one who is seeking Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala will find in those days that
which they cannot find in other days.
They will find in those days opportunities
which if they had spent
years
to to try to acquire of regular days
they would not be able to to to
pass that journey to to reach that
that furthest extent. The prophet said that,
there are no days
in which in which righteous deeds are more
beloved to Allah
in them, other than the days of the
10 days of Dhul Hijjah.
And these are the days in which are
most beloved to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Actions
that are done in other other other days
could never equate to actions done in these
days because of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala's love
for them. So the Prophet gave us instructions
at the end.
He said faakthirufiha
minat tasbihi
wa tahmeeli wa tahaleeli wa takbir.
So be abundant in those days in doing
tasbih saying, SubhanAllah,
Walhamdulillah,
Wallaylalla,
Wallahu Akbar.
Right? To to gain the most of those
days.
And but
because of the the sins of our hearts,
because of the things that we do, it's
very likely that we can be blocked from
such blessings.
Right? And the prophet he warned,
alright, he warned in many different occasions about
people because of their sins being blocked from
the rewards of auspicious occasions. Right? We find
in the hadith that are
Ramadan where the prophet he climbed the mimbar.
Right. 1 step, 2 step, 3 step and
after each step he said Amin.
Alright. 1 of the
reasons,
alright, one of the reasons he said Amin
was that he said that
the person who enters the month of Ramadan
and is not forgiven, may he be far
from the mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Right. That even though that auspicious occasion was
there for the taking, right. Even though the
blessings were were flowing from Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala and descending upon his creation, that person
still was not able to attain the the
forgiveness of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Same thing
in these days, the days of the 10
days of Dhul Hijjah. And the prophet SallAllahu
Alaihi Wasallam, he warned about 4 types of
people who will be deprived from blessings on
these days. And we ask Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala to forgive us for what has passed.
And we ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to
give us give us tafiq to right these
wrongs if they are our reality.
And he said, one of them is Qalti
al Rahim, the one who breaks family ties,
the one who cuts off people of their
family.
Right?
The prophet he said right? Sorry. Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala, he says in
Quran, right, that that they broke that which
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has commanded should be
joined.
Right? That the
the family ties,
the prophet said that Jibreel constantly kept repeating
to me about the about the virtues of
the of the,
about the family ties.
Right? And the second one is,
rukuqulwadidin,
the one who disobeys their parents.
The one who disobeys their parents. The third
one is the
the shari bulhamr, the one who indulges
in intoxicants
and who takes the verse refers to alcohol
specifically because that was what was there, but
the the reason is still found in other
types of intoxicants.
And the last one which is you probably
the most
difficult
to remove
is the one who holds grudges, the mushahen.
The one who holds in their heart enmity
toward another person for some reason.
Right? And this
is one of the root causes of the
ego being stirred up. And the ego is
is the biggest and the thickest
and the darkest veil that couldn't cover anyone's
heart.
Right? The Nur of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
will not penetrate if the veil is too
thick, if the veil is dark like and
the Prophet said that when a person when
the child of Adam does a sin, there
is a black spot put on their heart.
But if they desist
and they they ask for forgiveness and they
repents, it is polished away.
But for
but if they continue on that path
that path of darkening their heart, one sin
after another, one glance after another, one word
after another, right, if
if they continued on that path, the darkness
continues to spread,
until the the heart becomes hard.
Right? So
the the one who holds grudges on this
day will be
will be deprived of such blessings of these
days. And the prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam,
he gave very beautiful instructions to one of
the young sahaba and we'll close with this
so we can hear from the other ef
albil,
that he said that
That if you are able to spend your
mornings and your nights and not have any
enmity in your heart toward anyone, then do
so.
That is my Sunnah. That is my
way.
And whoever revives my sunnah loves me.
And whoever loves me will be with me
in Jannah. We ask Allah Subhanu wa Ta'ala
to not deprive us in these blessed days
of his his his divine generosity
and his his beneficence. And we ask Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to forgive us what has
trans what has,
passed. And we ask Allah to give us
to be obedient to him and what is
coming.
