What is the wisdom of having a disabled child?
When a person has a child with special needs or disabilities? You know, it's it's often the case that people will start to blame themselves or they'll start to blame Allah or they'll start to wonder why is this happening. And the reality is that when you read the general concepts of being pleased with the decree of Allah, and how to treat people that are in need, whether they are your children or somebody else's children, these are things that are meant to guide the way that we live our lives, but not necessarily to project other specific scenarios, whether they're given in the Koran or the cinema, or in the lives of the righteous predecessors, on to our lives, we're not
necessarily in the exact same situation and so we don't read into the exact other the exact decree of Allah subhanaw taala. So instead of thinking about what is the wisdom of me being given this child with special needs, I should instead think, you know, what can I do in this situation, to find eternal happiness for myself to to serve this child in a way that's pleasing to Allah subhanaw taala to really recognize that I have, I have a special person in my midst, I have a person who lost panna hota Anna has given a special rank to because the one who is deprived of something in this life will be elevated with something else in the next life. And the one who serves people in that situation is
also given something special from Allah subhana wa Tada. So it's best to look at this and say, you know what I can, I can do something here that is special with this child. And I can help this child in the best way possible. And in the process, find something deeply empowering about myself, give greater life to my own heart and give greater status to my own self in the sight of a last panel. It's an on the Day of Judgment rather than trying to decipher what the exact wisdom of why I have been given a child with special needs and May Allah bless all those special parents out there who do so much for their children with special needs, and gather them all with the prophets of Allah.
