Ebrahim Bham – The Power, Qudrat of Allah
AI: Summary ©
The importance of Islam and its belief in the existence of the creator is discussed, along with its power and authority in achieving goals. The "whores" of Islam are the fruit of individual's leagues' power and authority, while the "whores" are the fruit of individual's leagues' power and authority. The segment also touches on the heart's beats for 70, 80 years and the "we" in the eye, while the "by" in the head is mentioned. Jesus Ta'ala gives advice on how to address people in a way that is the opposite of what is supposed to happen.
AI: Summary ©
Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah,
Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah,
My dear respected elders and brothers, the central
puppet around which our entire deen revolves around,
it is belief and conviction in the existence,
in the power, in the qudrat of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala, our creator.
Everything in our sharia and everything in our
deen and our religion revolves around this.
This is the most important belief in Islam.
And the word Allah is a unique word.
It is a proper noun which describes our
creator, Allah.
And why ulema have written that it is
permitted to translate the word Allah to the
various languages.
But there is no word that can do
justice to our creator the way Allah does.
Allah is the proper way.
We must call our creator by the name
Allah.
Allah is the proper noun.
It is the right way to describe our
creator.
There is no one like Allah.
When Nabiye Karim sallallahu alaihi wa sallam came
and he told people about Allah because they
used to worship idols.
So they one day came to us, Nabiye
Karim sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, Give us the
knowledge of your Allah.
Who is your Allah?
You are talking about Allah.
Tell us, who is Allah?
Allah reveals surah Nikhlas, قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدَ
Say, He is Allah.
Allahu Samad, He is Samad.
Some of the ulema say, Everyone, everything in
the universe is dependent upon Him for their
existence.
He is dependent upon no one for their
existence.
So much so, that ulema say, We mustn't
even say Allah is in a particular space
or confined to a particular space.
Because it would mean that Allah ta'ala
is dependent upon that space for His existence.
Allah is beyond that.
Allahu Samad, لَمْ يَرِدْ وَلَمْ يُوهُ لَدَ He
is not begotten and He has not begotten
anyone.
لَمْ يَقُلْ لَهُ كُفُوَ أَنَهَا There is no
one like Him.
There is no one like Him.
That is our Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
To Him belongs the authority of everything that
happens in this world, in this earth, in
this universe.
لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَارَوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ To
Allah belongs whatever is in this heavens and
in the earth.
وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا What is between the heavens and
earth.
وَمَا تَحْتَ الْفَرَارِ What is even in the
earth, only Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knows.
Allah's control is over everything.
وَالْأَوَّلُ وَالْآخِرُ وَالْظَاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُ He is the first.
He is the last.
He is the first of the first.
He is the last of the last.
وَالْظَاهِرُ He is the most apparent.
وَالْبَاطِنُ And He is the most hidden.
He is hidden.
أَن تَلْأَوَّلْ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيْءٍ He is the
first.
And there is no one before Him.
Sometimes a person is first, there are people
behind him or before him.
أَن تَلْأَوَّلْ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيْءٍ He is the
first.
There is no one before Him.
وَأَن تَلْآخِرُ He is the last.
فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيْءٍ There is no one after
Him.
So this is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
my dear respected brothers.
He has knowledge of each and everything that
happens in this earth.
Allah's knowledge about everyone is complete.
And we read in Hizbul Azam, there is
the zikr that we make to remember Allah.
يَعْلَمُ عَدَدَ وَرَكِ الْأَزْجَارِ وَيَعْلَمُ عَدَدَ قَطْرِ الْأَمْتَارِ
He knows the leaf of every tree in
this world.
You and I, we don't know how much
trees there is in one street.
Never mind the trees in a suburb or
in a city.
Allah says that the leaves on every tree
in this whole universe يَعْلَمُ عَدَدَ وَرَكِ الْأَزْجَارِ
وَيَعْلَمُ عَدَدَ قَطْرِ الْأَمْتَارِ When it rains heavily,
you see so much rain comes.
Who knows how much water.
Allah ta'ala, the word comes in the
books, that in the riwayat, He knows every
drop of rain that comes.
Allah knows.
Allah ta'ala's knowledge is so complete, my
dear respected fellows.
He knows each and every leaf in every
tree of this world.
He knows every drop of water that comes.
This is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And of course, if you think Allah ta
'ala knows each of everything, you think Allah
ta'ala doesn't know the wrong that people
are doing.
You think Allah doesn't know.
Do you think that Allah ta'ala doesn't
know Allah knows everything.
وَلَا تَحْسَدَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا هَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ Don't
think Allah is unaware of what the oppressors
do.
The oppressors that are doing there in other
parts of the world.
And with regard to the Palestinians, Allah is
aware of it.
And Allah will deal with it one day.
Allah ta'ala says in the holy Quran,
إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدَّا Allah is counting everything
what people are doing.
Allah is counting.
Allah will reveal it when He wants to.
Allah will take account what we are doing.
إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدَّا He knows each and
everything.
He is ever-loving, everlasting.
No one ever is ever-loving and everlasting.
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوم The ulama say, in
this particular two words, يَا حَيُّ, the everlasting,
everlasting.
قَيُّوم, everyone is dependent upon Him.
This يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوم Nabiya Kareem sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam used to call Allah by
those names.
And if you say this is اسم عزم.
Nabiya Kareem sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, إِذَا
دُعِيَ بِهِ عَجَابٌ وَإِذَا سُعِلَ بِهِ فَعَاتَهُ There
are certain words of Allah ta'ala.
If you ask Allah with those names, Allah
will accept.
And you ask Allah with regard to it
and you make dua.
Allah ta'ala will accept.
One of them is يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوم
وَالتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ Rely upon
the one who is ever-loving, everlasting.
Mawt will never overtake.
My ustad, Azad Mufiul Yasir Sahib rahmatullahi alayh,
when we finished Bukhari, he gave us this
one amazing advice.
He told us, he said, many a times
you put your trust in a relationship, but
that relationship is not everlasting.
It is not permanent.
It is not dependable.
It is not trustworthy.
Sometimes the wife is relying upon the husband.
The husband will look after me.
And Allah ta'ala takes away the husband.
It can happen.
So don't put your trust on relationship that
you cannot guarantee.
Put your trust.
He said, put your trust on such a
relationship that is always trustworthy.
That is the relationship of Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
Allah ta'ala's qudrat and power extends over
everything.
Even extends over the anbiya alayhi salatu wassalam.
Subhanallah.
Azad Musa alayhi salatu wassalam made dua to
almighty Allah.
Rabbi arani anzur ilayk.
O Allah, show me your qudrat.
Show me.
I want to see you.
Rabbi arani anzur ilayk.
So Allah ta'ala says, O Musa, you
can't see me.
In this world you can't see me.
You will see me in the hereafter.
It will be one of the greatest ni'mat
of jannah to see Allah.
Forget all the other ni'mat of jannah.
What are you worried about the whores?
Look at the one who created the whores.
We worry about everyone when we talk about
jannah.
The only thing we can think about is
how the whore will be.
Look at the one who created the whore.
How much whore they will be.
So Musa alayhi salam in this word said,
Rabbi arani anzur ilayk.
O Allah, show me.
I want to see you.
So Allah ta'ala says, O Musa, you
can't see me.
You can't see me.
In this world you can't see me.
You will see me in the hereafter.
Look at this mountain.
If it stays on its place, perhaps you
will be able to see me.
When Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala revealed his
magnificence, Nabi Ta'ala said, Only this little
bit of Allah's magnificence on that day He
showed to the mountains.
Falamma tajalla rabbuhul jabal ja'alahu dakkah.
The mountain came trembling down.
Ja'alahu dakkah wa qarra Musa sa'iqah.
And Musa alayhi salam became unconscious.
Falamma tajalla rabbuhul jabal ja'alahu dakkah wa
qarra Musa sa'iqah.
Falamma afaq.
When he regained consciousness, He said, O Allah,
I seek your forgiveness that I made such
a request that I could not be able
to fulfill.
I cannot see you.
What is your qudrat?
What is your power?
What is your majesty?
Ya Allah.
This is, this is a majesty.
And Allah Ta'ala explains even to the
anbiya alayhimu sallallahu wa sallam.
One day Nabi alayhimu sallallahu wa sallam told
Jibra'il, One day Nabi alayhimu sallallahu wa
sallam told Jibra'il, Why don't you come
more often?
I'm ziyadat yuni atim al-ib'as.
Why don't you come more often?
So Jibra'il alayhimu sallallahu wa sallam, When
you tell Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, O
Allah, Muhammad is saying I must come more
often.
Allah Ta'ala revealed the verse, And he
told Jibra'il, Go and tell my Muhammad.
Go and tell my Habib.
Wa maa naka nazzalu illa bi amri rabbik.
I don't come out but with the command
of Allah.
Look at this.
Jibra'il wants to come.
Nabi alayhimu sallallahu wa sallam wants Jibra'il
to come.
Allah Ta'ala says you can't come except
with my permission.
If this is what regards to Allah Ta
'ala, Then what is what regards to you
and I?
We know that the greatest shafa'at, The
greatest intercession Nabi alayhimu sallallahu wa sallam will
bring me.
Nabi alayhimu sallallahu wa sallam will make a
lot of such intercessions.
The greatest intercession is shafa'at-e-uzma,
Shafa'at-e-kubra.
The greatest intercession will be when he will
tell Allah To open up and to start
of the accounting.
Now ulama have said one thousand years we
will wait for hisaab.
A thousand years we will wait for hisaab.
One thousand years we will wait.
And then after waiting for so long, Human
being, every human being will say, Enough, we
can't wait anymore.
Go and ask Allah Ta'ala to start
of the accounting no matter what happens.
And then Nabi alayhimu sallallahu wa sallam will
say, Every Nabi will give an excuse and
a justification.
This is Allah's jalal, Allah's power and qudrat
today is such.
No one has seen him in such qudrat
and power.
No one has seen Allah in such jalal
and qudrat The way that time will be
at the time of...
No, Allah Ta'ala here in this world
also has qudrat, But he gives us a
little bit of leeway.
He gives us a little power and authority.
People say my car.
So Allah Ta'ala says, I am the
day of judgment.
What does it mean?
Allah is not the master of this dunya.
He is the master of this dunya also.
But in this dunya he gives you a
little bit of control.
My property, my car.
But Allah Ta'ala warns you that it
is a temporary power and authority.
Temporary type of ownership that you have.
Ownership only belongs to almighty Allah.
We will see it on the day of
qiyamah.
No one will be able to talk except
if Allah Ta'ala allows us.
No one will be able to talk except
if Allah Ta'ala allows us.
So Nabiye Kareem sallallahu alaihi wa sallam will
go down into sits there.
He will go down for one whole week.
And then look at the words.
I want you to look at the words.
Allah's qudrat, Allah's power.
Ya Muhammad, irfa raasat, raasat, raasat, ishfa ushafah.
Oh Muhammad, lift up your head, lift up
your head.
You intercede, you make dua, I will accept.
Muhammad is pleading, Allah will accept.
This is the qudrat and power of Allah.
That even after one week of praying in
sit there, Allah Ta'ala says, You make
the request, I will accept.
Allah Ta'ala has full control over everything
that happens in this earth.
abdi anta tureed, wa ana ureed, wa laakoonu
illa ma ureed.
Oh my bondman, you plan, Allah Ta'ala
plans.
Only that happens which Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala desires.
wa maqaroo wa maqarallah, wallahu khayru wa ma
kareem.
You know, you plan, and you plot, and
you make plans.
But only that happens which Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala wishes.
Whatever happens is in the wish of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Why it happens, we don't know.
Why things are happening, only Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala knows.
But despite his power, my dear respected brothers,
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has created our
needs.
laqad khalaqna al-insana fee ahsani taqweem.
He has made us in the best of
moods, the best of Allah Ta'ala's creation.
laqad khalaqna al-insana fee ahsani taqweem.
ashrafu al-maqrooqan.
In his tafsir, Ma'ruf ul-Quran writes,
One day in the Ibbas al-Khalifat in
Baghdad, One day a person, you know, out
of love for his wife.
Sometimes this love also makes you do some
stupid things.
Love is blind.
huqbu kashayt yu'ma wa yusam.
The love of something makes you blind in
everything.
So he said, you are divorced if you
are not more beautiful than the 14th moon.
Told his wife, you are so beautiful.
You are more beautiful than the 14th moon.
And if you are not more beautiful than
the 14th moon, you are divorced.
Ya Allah, now everyone is worried.
The ulema said, who is more beautiful than
the 14th moon?
And we saw the 14th moon in all
its splendor.
So they went to the Khalifa.
He says, divorced or not?
He called all the ulema.
All ulema said, why did you get to
talaq?
Okay, it's talaq.
One Hanafi alim said, no, talaq is not
made.
He said, what is your belief?
What is your evidence that there is no
divorce?
He said, Allah Ta'ala says, laqad khalaqna
al-insana fee ahsani taqweem.
The best of Allah's creation is inside.
If Allah Ta'ala says the best of
Allah's creation is inside, it is even more
better and splendid than the moon.
Subhanallah.
This is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Allah Ta'ala created our needs.
The heart, just look at this heart.
They say it pumps sometimes 72,000 liters
a day or something like that.
70, 80 years, you know, it beats.
No one came and did its service.
Car after 10,000 kilometers service.
14,000 kilometers service.
Heart beats for 70 years.
Until you don't look after it and you
have cholesterol.
Until then it will continue beating till the
day it dies.
70, 80 years.
Subhanallah, it beats.
The kidney in the body, it filters good
blood and bad blood.
Who gave that kidney one small type of
organ in the body?
Not more than a walnut, little bit more
bigger than that.
And look at it, what Allah Ta'ala
gives it.
He knows this is good blood, I must
put it this way, bad blood, I must
put it this way.
What, how, who created all of that?
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has done it.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has created the
means for us to take something and to
take it out.
Look at the great ni'mat of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala.
It granted the tongue flexibility to form words
and for the other person to understand it.
Ar-Rahman, Allama al-Quran, Khalaq al-Insaf,
Allamahu al-Bayan.
Subhanallah.
He gave us food to eat.
And all of this food comes from, you
know, the ground.
All our fruit, our vegetables, our wheat, all
of this, barley, etc.
Which makes our roti.
Where did it come from?
Which our bread?
Comes from the earth.
And Allah Ta'ala uses in the Quran
one beautiful phrase.
Inna allaha faalikul haqti wal nawah.
Afra'aytum ma ta'ruthun.
Don't you see what you put in the
ground?
The farmer puts it into the ground.
Antum tazra'oonahu wa nahnu zari'oon.
Only the farmer did was he put the
seed in the ground.
After that, did he do anything with regard
to that seed?
Allah Ta'ala says, I split the seed.
Until the seed does not split, no fruit,
no vegetable, no wheat, no corn can be
able to be sprout.
It only sprouts if the seed splits.
Allah says, I'm the one who splits the
seed.
Afra'aytumul maa allalihi tashruboon.
Do you see the water that you drink?
A'antum anzaltumuhum minal muz.
An nahmul munziroon.
Do you bring it down from the heavens?
Allah Ta'ala brings it down from the
heavens.
That is why what do we are supposed
to drink when we drink water?
Alhamdulillah inna dhi saqqana.
As-saqqani ajban furatan bi rahmatihi.
Walam yaj'aluhu milhan wujajan bil ruhina.
All praise is due to Almighty Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala who give us water to
drink.
And He did not make it better because
of our guna.
Because of our guna, water is also supposed
to be done better.
But Allah Ta'ala didn't do so.
Harun Rashid one day was speaking to Ibn
Samak.
Ibn Samak was a wise person.
Ibn Samak said, Oh Harun!
Oh Harun!
Harun Rashid one of the great khalifas of
our history.
One day Harun Rashid was sitting in his
throne and in his palace.
And he saw the rain bearing clouds was
going by.
It didn't rain in Baghdad.
So he told the rain, he said, Oh
you cloud, go and rain wherever you want
to.
The proceeds will come to the Muslim Caliphate.
What a caliphate he had.
From India right to Mauritania, right on to
the doorsteps of Europe.
So go and rain wherever you want.
You will come back to us.
So one day Ibn Samak told him, Oh
Harun!
What happens if Allah Ta'ala were to
tell you that all the sources of water
are dry?
Khalas!
Allah Ta'ala did mention of it in
the Quran.
If Allah makes all the sources of water
one day dry, then what will happen?
Where is rain water going to get water
from?
Are they going to create water?
All these bottle people, these people who put
bottle water, all the expensive, you know, beautiful
names, Bine and I don't know what, Evian.
All of these beautiful, where are they going
to create?
They only took what Allah created and they
put it in bottles and they're selling it
at a great price.
Allah Ta'ala says if all of it
comes dry, who's going to give you?
So Ibn Samak asked Harun Rashid, If all
water becomes dry, how much will you give
for one glass of water?
So Harun Rashid said, I'll give half of
my khilafat.
And then he said, Ibn Samak said, Oh
Harun Rashid, after you take that particular water,
it doesn't come out of your body.
How much will you give to take the
water out of your body to urinate?
He said, I'll give my other half of
my khilafat.
So Ibn Samak said, Oh Harun Rashid, your
entire khilafat is only equivalent to the ni'mat
of Allah Ta'ala of one glass of
water.
Now thank Allah Ta'ala for His qudrat.
Thank Allah Ta'ala for His qudrat.
Allah gave us the opportunity for our spiritual
needs.
laqad mannallahu ala al-mu'mineen He gave you
such great favor upon you by giving you
what?
The Nabi of Almighty Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
He gave you the Nabi of Allah.
laqad kana lakum fee rasoolillahi usfatun hasana as
an example of how to lead your life.
He looked up to your spiritual needs, your
physical needs, and yet despite His power and
qudrat, He loves you so much.
He loves you so much.
Allahu akbar.
Nabi al-Kalim sallallahu alaihi wa sallam and
Allah Ta'ala has made mention of the
love Allah Ta'ala has for human beings.
He is so great.
But yet when He addresses the human beings,
O ya ibadi alladhina asrafu ala anfusayin Someone
does you wrong.
Someone hurts you.
Someone swears you.
Someone abuses you.
How will you treat him?
How will you address him?
In your end day will you say?
You know, what is what you will say?
Allah Ta'ala is addressing, not the tahajjud
qudrat.
Allah is not addressing the people who are
ulama, sulaha.
Allah Ta'ala is addressing the people who
have done wrong.
O people who have done wrong, O my
bondsmen, you have done wrong.
Allah Ta'ala was entitled here to say,
O fasiq, O fajir, you have done wrong.
Allah was entitled.
But what did He say?
Ya ibadi alladhina asrafu ala anfusayin O my
bondsmen, we have done wrong.
La taqnatu min rahmatillah Don't lose hope in
the mercy of Allah.
Brothers, after all of His qudrat and power
of Almighty Allah, what do we need to
do?
We need to turn towards Almighty Allah in
submission, in remembrance and in fulfillment of our
deeds.
Everything we want, we need to turn towards
Almighty Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
amma yujibu al-muttarra idha da'a Who
is there who can relieve your difficulty?
but Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wa yaj
'alukum khalaqa al-ard ilahumma Allah Is there
anyone besides Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
wa idha sa'alaka ibadi anni fa indi
qaleeb O Prophet of Almighty Allah, tell unto
the believers when they ask of me, when
they ask you, where is Allah?
Tell, Allah Ta'ala is very close.
So there is nothing, my dear respected brothers,
that we need to, but turn to Allah
for our needs.
Turn to Almighty Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
for the sake of remembrance.
Remember Allah in every step of our life.
udhkuru Allah dhikran kathira Remember Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala in abandonment.
Allah Ta'ala tells us, inna al-munafiqina
yukhari wa nallahu akhari wa idha qawmi al
-salati qawmi qusala It is a sign of
a munafiq that he doesn't remember Allah.
It is a sign of a munafiq that
he doesn't remember Allah.
Otherwise, a Muslim or a believer always remembers
Allah.
Remember Allah in all your occasions.
And remembering Allah means to take His name
and to do the right thing what Allah
wants us to do in a specific situation.
And do not be amongst those who neglect
Allah.
Do not be amongst those who neglect Allah.
ulaikuhumul ghafilun Allah Ta'ala says, ulaika kalam
aam balhum adal Those who do not remember
Allah, they are worse than animals.
And do not be like those, nasullaha fa
'ansahum anfusahum Do not be like those who
forget Allah and Allah will forget them.
What will happen to a person who forgets
Allah?
And if Allah Ta'ala forgets you, what
is your chance of success?
And let me conclude by saying, you cannot
get happiness and you cannot get success if
you disobey and you are neglectful of the
owner and the creator of happiness and success.
You cannot get happiness.
You cannot get success if you disobey the
owner and the creator of happiness and success.
May Allah give you a right of understanding.
