first
of
all,
we thank Allah subhanahu wa, all praise due to Allah subhanahu wa,
for all the name that has he has been given to us, Alhamdulillah,
for the bounties, for the
all the nightmare that he has been given to us from the day we were
born until today, Alhamdulillah, the Lord of the world, the Creator
of all things, the sender of all Prophets and the revealer of all
truth. Alhamdulillah, before I start, I would like to send my
teachers, Salam Sheik hussini from Malaysia. So he sent his Salaams
to all of the brothers here in Manukau.
So he was hoping that he want to be here, but Inshallah,
Inshallah, one day he will be able to see you guys. Inshallah,
everybody. So, Alhamdulillah,
first of all, Alhamdulillah, great blessings. This is my first time
in New Zealand, in Auckland. Especially,
very nice to see everybody. Very nice to meet all the brothers and
brothers sisters, not okay.
Sheik Nassim, thank you very much for Shayna. Sim,
for hosting me. Alhamdulillah And Alhamdulillah, all these are
nehemah from Allah subhanahu wa of
WA, of brotherhood in Islam, where we go everywhere in the world,
there are siblings, our brothers and sisters all over the world. So
alhamdulillah for all these blessings, and from all of the
blessings that ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala has given us,
the greatest blessing of all is the great the blessing of Al
Islam, Al hidaya
and the guidance to the straight path
Allah subhanahu wa mentioned in the Quran,
wama, bikun, Minya,
famina, law, whatever
blessings that you have been given it is from Allah
subhanahu wa.
And when, whenever we try to enumerate the cultics, the
blessings of Allah, we will never, ever
can count them, subhanAllah And Alhamdulillah, Allah has made
clear 1400 years ago that he has completed the religion for US.
Aliyah, uma Akmal, tulakum, dinakum wat mam, tuha laikum,
Allah,
day Ani, In the day of Arafa, Allah has completed,
he has he said, I have completed
my favorite upon you.
And Allah said, Ali, ama, Akula, kumina, today, I have perfected
your religion for you. Wat bum tual KU and I have completed my
favor upon you. Moraldi Tula Kumul Islam, ADINA, and I have am
pleased that Islam as your religion, So alhamdulillah for the
nightmare of Islam. Allah with all these blessings that we have, it
is obligatory upon us to be thankful to Allah,
ashokuruni,
guruli, wala Taku, and remember me so I will remember you.
And be thankful. Be grateful to me, and don't ever deny me. Allah,
remind us to be grateful for whatever blessings that we have.
Alhamdulillah. And of course, we know
the scholars have discussed there are three parts of
three pillars of shukr, three pillars of being grateful. The
first is from the heart that we agree that we deep in our heart,
we believe that all of these favors are from Allah subhanahu wa
and the second is that we see with our tongue, we say, Alhamdulillah,
Allah ne AMA, Allah ne amila. We say, Thank you, Allah, all praise
due to Allah, Subhanahu, WA for all the Naya, the name that Allah
has been given to us. And the last part, maybe some of us, this part,
we lack of it, which is using the blessings of Allah, subhana, Allah
in His way, in pleasing Him, using our skills to please Him, to get
his paradise with our actions, whatever that he has given to us,
Alhamdulillah, in terms of money, in terms of skills, in terms of
maybe, knowledge, Alhamdulillah. So everything is from Allah and to
Him we will return, Inshallah, amen.
Alhamdulillah.
Another great blessing is that here, mashallah, we have a
beautiful Masjid. The beautiful masjid, you can come every day and
you can pray together, and then I believe here have a lot of DARS,
love, do rules.
So this is
a
great
blessing.
Allah,
Ali, Hemus, Sakina,
ahama, waha fatum, free man in Dahu, the Prophet salallahu,
Salama seed
there, there is not a group of people that assemble
in the house from the houses of Allah in the masajid, in the
masjid, reciting the book of Allah, learning and teaching the
book of Allah, except that tranquility will descend upon them
as Sakina,
and they will be engulfed with mercy from Allah
and the angels will come and surround them,
making dua for them and Allah, we mention every single those who
attend the class, the gathering with the angels, with his
proximity, subhanAllah, what A great blessing, what a great
Niyama for those who gather
in House of Allah to listen to some tafkillah, maybe things that
you have already heard. But Inshallah,
as the ayah goes, whether kill for inviq,
meaning whether kill far in the court will meaning
Comella. So I believe here we have the culture of seeking knowledge.
The
the most important thing here in a masjid is seeking knowledge. Am I
correct? We have a lot of classes. Here is it?
We have to cultivate this culture. We have to make it more
interesting for the especially for the for the young ones, for the
youth and for also, not forgetting us, who are already
reaching the maybe 40 years 50 years old, maybe more, more of
that. So this is
learning never stops. Parliament seeking
knowledge is from cradle to grief. So Alhamdulillah, Allah, will
elevate the status of those who have knowledge. Allah
will raise those who have believed
and amongst you and those who have knowledge. Who are learned
with degrees, Allah will rise all of this knowledge. People of
knowledge, degrees, by degrees, Masha, Allah. And it's not the
same. Those who know, those who know about the halal and the
Haram, those who are.
Know About The akam of the Quran, those who know what Allah wants
and what Allah prohibits is not the same with those who doesn't
know hallelujah. Allah asked a rhetoric
question, is it the same that people who knows and those who
don't know? Masha? Allah,
what a powerful ayah. So there are so many virtues of seeking
knowledge. Alhamdulillah,
we heard this a lot. I believe we heard this a lot. We have been
encouraged by our teachers to keep learning, to keep learning, to
keep learning.
Know that if you are busy yourself, busying yourself with
knowledge, with attending classes, oh, today I have a class in the
evening. I have to go here after school. I have to rush to the
masjid, go to the class. Learn about the Quran, learn about
Tajweed, learn about aqidah, learn about faith. You busy yourself
with knowledge, then
glad tidings, that this is a sign, a good sign, from Allah, that
Allah wanted good for you,
as the Prophet SAW, said,
may you really love kehu, 15, whoever that Allah wants them to
intense good, to them, to this person that Allah will give him
the understanding of the deen
Alhamdulillah,
I don't have much time, right?
I can go further further about the virtues of seeking knowledge. We
need to encourage this everywhere I go, I would like to start
teaching my brothers and sisters, my friends and my colleagues and
my students about the importance of knowledge. It is very
important,
because we need in Islam, knowledge is muqaddam. Knowledge
is first before action and saying, Al AYL, Abdul Amal,
and also with knowledge Inshallah, seeking knowledge is your way,
your pathway to Paradise. Allah will make easy the pathway to
paradise for those who the seekers of knowledge, mansalakemisu, fihi,
alaman, sahala, Allahu, alaubihi tariqan il Jannah, whoever treads
a path that he seeks knowledge. In that path, Allah, SWT, Allah will
make his path to Jannah easy.
So now we know the importance of knowledge, importance of seeking
knowledge, importance to become somebody who have knowledge about
Allah and the Prophet and and and the religion of Islam. So now
we need to focus on things that can get get us close to Allah. And
one of the things that is not created in this world is
uncreated. We know, especially everything in this world is
created, is a creation. Is creation of Allah. There's only
one thing that the essence of ALLAH that still
exists in this world, which is the kalamua. A kalamua is this thing
that is not created from the Akita or Jamaat. We believe that the
kalam of Allah, the words of Allah, is uncreated.
So
the best way to
be near to Allah subhanahu wa is by getting close to the book of
Allah to learn how to recite the book of Allah, to learn how to
understand the book of Allah, to learn how to apply the book of
Allah in our lives, and to learn how to tell other people about the
book of Allah to teach other people.
The best of people are
those who learn the Quran and teach it
as the Prophet salallahu, alayhi wa sallam, he said, hayuru Kung
Manta Alam, Al Quran. Wa Allah. The best among you are those
who learn the Quran and teach it to others. Alhamdulillah,
so not those who are
billionaires. Jeff Bezos,
you name it.
Bill Gates, those are
not the best people. The best people are those who
learn the Quran. That is what the prophet saws Quran, and then you
teach it to others, Masha, Allah,
and brothers and sisters.
It is a special thing that Allah put the Quran in you. Allah allows
you to learn the Quran.
Allah allow you, allows you to memorize some of the Quran, or
maybe some of you here memorize the whole Quran. When I know
anyone who memorized the Quran, the whole Quran here,
friends, Masha Allah, Masha Allah, so these are the chosen ones.
Allah will never, ever choose his words to be settled down to
anybody.
This indicates that some, there are some love that Allah have to
this, to this boy and to those who
have at least a portion of Quran in their hearts. So this is the
sign of goodness. Subhanallah,
as the Prophet sallallahu, sallam, he said in nali lahi Aline,
meaning NAS and Allah. He has families in in this world, from
the mankind. He has his own people. And then the Sahaba asked
man whom, Ya Rasulullah, who are these people, the people of Allah
and the
Prophet Salla Salam, say,
whom ah Quran,
ahluwhi wa ha satu.
These are the people of Quran and the people of Allah and His, the
people who are very close to Allah. So these are special
people. So we encourage our children to memorize the Quran, to
learn the Quran, and also,
not only for our children, but insha Allah for ourselves. It's
never too late to start to learn the Quran.
Alhamdulillah, a
lot of blessings Qur'an will bring to your lives.
Yeah, if
I believe we here we have Quran tajwit
classes, which is the head the sheik of the
Tajweed. Here
we have Tajik classes.
From the English classes
after mashallah every morning.
Mashallah, so
mashallah, this is a good effort.
Any any Islamic center must have Quran. You know, if you say Islam,
we must have al qurayan. That doesn't matter Tajiri or hei. So
alhamdulillah, the learning of Quran is alive here.
Alhamdulillah, it's very good.
Let us share some, some of the
Hadith.
I believe that these classes not only for children, right? It's not
only for children,
for adults as well, okay? So not for our children. We and
ourselves. We have to
try our best to memorize. You know, Abu Bakar, Sikh, he, he was,
he was an old, old person right when he entered Islam. Most of the
Sahaba, they are old. They are old. They are
above 40 when they enter Islam. So they still memorize fortune, maybe
some portion of the Quran. Not everybody is given by Allah the
ability to memorize the whole Quran. So Inshallah, we try our
best to memorize at least one juice, juice 30,
or maybe more than that, and 29 as well. And maybe some of those have
memorized 10 Jews. So alhamdulillah, all of these are
blessings from Allah. We help to preserve the book of Allah,
SubhanAllah.
And like the Prophet SAW said,
you will be raised in Jannah. Your ranks in Jannah will be raised
based on whatever you memorized,
whatever you recited in this dual
waratil, warattadki, fine manzilataka,
fain manzila, the day of judgment in
the
Day of Judgment in Jannah,
it was we said to him, to This person, read and elevate so Kama
toratil fiddunya, kama Tara tilnya, like you recited in this
world, and your last station will stop until the last ayah that you
recited. So when, if you recite more, you will go out more more
until the highest Jannah, SubhanAllah. So you.
Will be raised ranks in Jannah just because of your recitation of
the Quran. And for those
who are struggling with the Quran, let me share a Hadith
from a Isha radiala. She said the Prophet SAW said,
Al mahirub, Al Quran, masafar Till kiram, il Bara, those
who are
special, those who are higher ranks of the Quran. The Quran, the
Imams, the special, specialized people of the Quran, they are with
the angels. Masafara til kiram, those are the angels. The levels
are like the angels,
wama, Wale,
Quran, and for those who recite the Quran as well, waiata, Tata,
ata, au fihi And he have this difficulty to
when he recite, he he make mistakes and he stops, and he
repeats again and he stops, wahu wa ale, hisha, and he has
difficulty to pronounce the letters because he started to
recite the Quran. They start to learn the Quran.
So the Prophet sallam said,
Lahu ajaran. For him, we have two rewards.
Okay? So we say, Oh, we have two rewards if you don't know how to
recite the Quran. So why become a mahid? Why become a,
you know, become a specialized specialist in the Quran specialist
Quran only have one reward, right? But those who cannot recite, they
have two so it's better, good investment two times. But this is
not the case. It doesn't mean that it is a two time. It means that
two sides of the reward, one is the reward of reciting the Quran,
and the idea is the reward of the struggling that he put the effort
to recite properly SubhanAllah. So the effort that you put to recite
the Quran Allah will reward.
So those are the things that
I would like to share.
So I would like to know here I want, I want to listen from some
of you.
I'm a Korean teacher. I'm a Tajiri teacher.
So I would love to hear recitation from from all around the world,
from Robert, from I would listen from others, from Fiji, from other
parts of the world. So I want to, I'm here coming from far away from
Malaysia. I want to hear some, some brothers here can recite the
Quran. Anybody can want to. Want to, not the teachers student.
Students are the top students. Who is the top student here in
In M iyc,
any
volunteer,
ns, ns,
Rabbi Lal,
will be
Mashallah.
How old are you ready?
Masha Allah, mashaAllah, have a very good recitation. Okay? You
can sit down.
Masha Allah,
this is a great blessing that from young age that you can recite like
this SubhanAllah. This is SubhanAllah. So may Allah make you
steadfast. May Allah, may Allah make you continue your hives.
Finishing hills in young age is very dangerous, because you tend
to lose it if you don't muraja. So better have to put more wife
Inshallah,
So alhamdulillah,
anyone else?
Brother, Musa, he came to Malaysia
our youth camp, yeah. Alhamdulillah,
you want?
Try to recite.
Brother here,
