We've heard a lot from the speakers, and
we'll be hearing more from the speakers to
come about the concentration
cramps, about the forced sterilization,
about the
forced consumption
of pork and alcohol, the alcohol,
the the forced assimilation,
the renouncing of Islam, the list is quite
frankly endless.
My brothers and sisters, this is not the
first time this happened to a group of
Muslims.
there was a group called the Mariscos of
Spain.
When Muslim Spain fell just over 500 years
ago, the Spanish
Kingdom
the Spanish Kingdom
began a state
strategy
to force the remaining Muslims and their descendants
to give up their faith.
Those who outwardly accepted Catholicism
were known the Mariscos.
But that wasn't enough for the Spanish kingdom
of the time. It wasn't enough that the
Muslims had apostate from their faith.
So the few areas that remained
in the south of Spain, in Andalus,
where the Moriscos resided, who are outwardly non
Muslims.
The Spanish kingdom, you should send their soldiers
to their farms
to check
that they are farming pigs,
that they are not just distilling wine, but
consuming wine.
And the soldiers, you should stay in the
houses of the Mariscos.
Brothers and sisters, remember, the Mariscos have already
given up Islam. They accepted
Catholicism.
But it wasn't enough.
They had to be seen to be consuming
pork. They had to be seen to be
attending church. They had to be seen to
be drinking wine.
We've heard a lot
about what's happening in the concentration camps,
but very little is known about what's happening
outside of the concentration camps.
When all the men,
100 and thousands of holy god Muslim men
have been sent to the camps,
their women talk, their wives, their daughters, their
mothers
are forced to accept
strange men into their homes as part of
a coupling policy to help them assimilate
to Chinese values, whatever that is.
Women of honor,
women like our mothers, our sisters
are forced to share birth with strange men,
and this is seen as something normal,
something
acceptable. Let me tell you something brothers and
sisters.
When we hear
about what's happening to and
other oppressed Muslims around the world,
we should in fact look at them with
envy.
Because they have been tested in their faith,
and they're holding it down. They're remaining firm.
Shall I tell you why? Because if they
didn't, there wouldn't be any need for concentration
cramps.
If they had given up the Islam, there
would be no need for concentration cramps. There
would be no need to ban the Quran.
There would be no need to ban fasting.
The reason why the communist Chinese regime is
doing this
is because they see that the Oibos and
other ethnic target Muslims are holding it down.
In a visit to Canada,
I met an
uncle,
and he said to me, do you know
what our elders do?
Our elders forwardly
volunteer to go to their camps.
When they ask why do you do this?
They say it's because to protect our youth.
We've lived up to 60, 70, 80. We
know what what our deen is. We will
hold it down. We preserve our religion. There's
no way they will make us renounce our
faith.
But our children, our grandchildren,
our sons, no. We rather they stay out
of the camps
and preserve the religion. Let us go to
the camps. Brothers and sisters, look at that
sacrifice.
Look at that sacrifice.
Thank you.
70, 80 year old men and women offering
themselves to go to camps because that's how
firm they are upon their faith. We need
to look at them with envy. Envy down
the day of judgement of allahi.
Their sacrifices and their patience would be a
testament to their faith.
I want to conclude
I wanna conclude on 2 notes.
The organizers have put this campaign together, put
this protest together. I wanna give a specific
shout out to our brothers at strong 21
c who spearheaded this.
All of us took the time out today
like we've done with previous incidents of oppression.
We need to carry on doing this. Our
awareness, make them understand what's going on.
But there's also another duty that we have.
There's also another duty that we have, and
that is to remind those Muslim governments,
not the Ummah, not the one, those Muslim
governments
who deemed it appropriate to sign a letter
about a year and a half ago in
the UN, about 28 or 30 countries, Muslim
countries,
saying that, yes, it's okay what China is
doing. We support them. It is an internal
matter of extremism and radicalization.
Wallahi will say to
shame on them. Shame on them.
Yeah.
History does not remember the cowards or the
traitors of those who remain silent.
Never.
When we when we romanticize and narrate the
story or
say if or whichever
great Muslim rulers and generals and leaders that
we had in the past, these are normal
people like us brothers and sisters who decided
one day that enough was enough.
That enough was enough.
We,
as lay people, the majority of us,
will do whatever needs to be done within
our means.
We don't have the material support. We don't
have the material influence
on a state level,
but that doesn't mean that we cannot convey
this to Muslim governments,
especially those who my parents originate from.
Brothers and sisters,
remember this,
that whenever the enemies of Islam and Muslims
want to extinguish the light of Islam,
they resort to this kind of madness.
They resort to this kind of levels of
oppression
because when dialogue,
when the tides of revival
is changing and is looking bright for Islam,
you will see the levels of oppression increase.
Wallahi see this as a sign of blessing
and victory is near. Takbeer. I pray to
Allah
that all the oppressed Muslims, whether in Palestine,
in Kashmir, in Myanmar, in
East Turkestan, wherever they may be, you Allah,
relieve them of their hardship and liberate them
from occupation and oppression. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, remember this, that when a
Sahabi asked the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam,
you Rasulullah,
what is the best form of jihad? Rasulullah
responded very briefly and concisely.
He said it is a word of truth
in front of a tyrannical ruler. They are
the tyrants. Our brothers are the oppressed, and
we need to remind them that no matter
what stripes and colors, racial ethnicity or persuasion,
we will stand for our eager brothers and
sisters today until the day we die, inshallah.
Thank you. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Thank
you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
