No! We do not make one cent from any platform.
We have had this question by some and have no idea where this notion comes from.
In fact, these platforms and ALL the other apps “make money” through ads in their apps and so on.
Our Apps are not only free but also without advertisements.
Reusing Audio Content
Our agreement with speakers is straightforward: the content we share is publicly available and intended for personal use only.
If you wish to use the audio content for anything beyond personal use, you must contact the speaker or the original publisher directly to obtain permission.
Please note that we do not provide contact details for any speakers or organizations. As copyright perspectives vary, we encourage you to conduct your own research and make informed decisions.

AI Generated Text – Why do we include the AI Generated Text?
Note, we have over 70K episodes. Well it provides a limit scope of benefit. Example, someone may be searching for a particular search phrase/term that may be present in the text.
If you get triggered by AI generated text, then just ignore it. The text is hidden. Perhaps one day if funding was there, we could work on it. The accuracy is very much variable, take it with a pinch of salt.
AI Generated Text – May We Use It?
You may not copy this text as it is copyrighted to us as we paid for the service. This is place in case their is an issue with the speaker. So, the best would be to ask the speaker directly if you may take a copy of their audio, convert to text and then use it the way you wish to. This is just to safeguard us.
How are you sustainable?

How do I Donate?
We have a donation page with payment options, thank you for considering us.
Do you offer funding for bursary or the like?
Unfortunately not, we rely on donations for sustainability and do not offer anything like this.
May we Integrate your feeds into our App
Generally yes, but pre-approval is required. We would also like a donation to cover our running costs, especially hosting costs related to storage and bandwidth.
Another reason is intent of use, which we cannot control. If you willing to help fund our data costs, then you can drop us a mail and we can discuss integration.
Does Muslim Central have permissions From Speakers?
Many yes, we have made considerable effort to meet and/or get in touch with them to get their permissions, with few exceptions including those who have already passed on.
We have tried countless times to get in touch, but have struggled, this lead to a huge backlog. We have a spreadsheet showing how and the number of times we tried to get in touch with speakers.
This lead us to a new approach of adding only publicly available content inline with our copyright view. If any speaker took fault, we would remove it if they so wished. We doubt this would ever really happen because we doing both users and speakers a favour.
Note, the agreement is for audio that is for public consumption and for personal usage only. Any other usage, you will have to make direct contact with the speaker to get their permissions, and we do not provide this contact information.
Also, the content is all existing audio and video (converted to audio) that is publicly available and nothing of theirs behind pay walls.

How can I get involved with Muslim Central?
We purposedly trying to keep the team small so we remain rapid, agile and performant. At the time of writing the only skill we lacking was a mid-senior level Android Developer (Kotlin + Java), drop us a mail if you keen to get involved.
Our main difficulty is spreading the word. Further, we see your efforts as a continous charity, as the more people who benefit from our work due to you leading them accordingly you get the rewards on-going. Allah Knows best. Consider doing the following:

May I upload Your YouTube Videos to my own Channel
As a precautionary measure, we going to say no to this. The reason is, if a speaker is unhappy with a video we did, we have control to remove it and don’t have to worry about getting in touch with other channels to remove it.
However, you add the video to a playlist on your channel. This avoids you have to download the video and re-upload it.

We do not link you with speakers. You will have to try their social media profiles etc. We also struggle to get in touch with some of them.
How do you choose which speakers can be on?
We use an external set of reviewers so we are not biased.
