Bashar Shala – Sleepers of the Cave – part 1

Bashar Shala

Abu Darda reported Allah’s Messenger as saying: “If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Surah Al Kahf, he will be protected from the Dajjal”. (Sahih Muslim 1766) ‘The Sleepers of the Cave’ is a four part lecture that covers the stories narrated in Surah Al Kahf. First there is the story of the sleepers of the cave who slept therein for a long period, this is more than a story it is a Sign from Allah. Then there is the story of the mysterious teacher who shows Musa (AS) how life itself is parable and the importance in seeking knowledge. We are then told of those who get sucked in to the glitter of this life, the story of the Two Gardens. And further there is the story of Dhul-Qarnain, the powerful ruler of west and east, who made an iron wall to protect the weak against the strong. These stories refer to the trials and tribulations humanity will face, uncertainty, and vanity of this life. There are many lessons to learn from this surah, which can only be understood through patience, humbleness and the fullness of knowledge.

			smilla rahmanir rahim we continue in sha Allah our study of the story of Musa alayhis salam, the
reflections on the stories in the Quran that are related to our Prophet of Allah Musa alayhis
salaam. And today we start with a different aspect and a different story that's merited only once in
the Quran.

00:00:51 --> 00:01:12
			This particular story of the life of Messiah is only in one place and that is insulated calf. And
there is a hadith that is narrated in both al Bukhari and Muslim and that gives us the background
and the events of this particular story. This Hadith is narrated in Muslim on the authority of side
of Nigeria

00:01:13 --> 00:01:28
			and in the inside Buhari, it's on the authority of obeying the cab and it is considered as an
authentic and so he headed on the in the Bahati and the available cab

00:01:29 --> 00:02:00
			said and also one of the narratives of the Hadith is Abdullah basil the long run homer that have
said that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that one time Musa alayhis salam was given a
speech or admonition and the people of Israel his followers, karma, moose and navy you hardly even
feed any saw he first saw it. And he was asked the question at university alum, which of the people
has the most knowledge?

00:02:02 --> 00:02:40
			Which of the people has the most knowledge? And musalla alayhis salam, knowing that he was the
Prophet of Allah, he was the prophet of his time. And he was given the authority from Allah subhanaw
taala to deliver the message. He said, I am, I am the most knowledgeable people of people of that
time. Then Allah subhana wa tada who holds his prophets and messengers to the highest standards,
admonished musala he set up and the answer should have been Allahu Allah, Allah knows who's the most
knowledgeable person.

00:02:42 --> 00:02:50
			Then Allah subhanho wa Taala told Moosa that there is a slave of a law who is more knowledgeable
than you.

00:02:52 --> 00:02:52
			And

00:02:54 --> 00:03:37
			Musa asked Allah and this is all in this Hadith, Colorado be ok therapy, how can I reach him? And
Allah told Moosa militancy mechta fader for otter, hufa thumb, carry a fish and a bowl and whenever
you lose the place where you lose that fish, that's the place where you are going to find that slave
of Allah that person who is more knowledgeable. So he went on from Paula kabhi Fatah you shall be
noon so he carried he went on with with a young Manny boy his name was you shall be new and Joshua
and they held a fish with them.

00:03:43 --> 00:04:07
			They took a fish with them and in some narration that fish was actually a cooked fish and it was not
a live fish and they took it as a their their food as their sustenance their dinner. So they take
the fish with them and they got to the place where there is a big rock and they slept. And from here
on we will continue the story in the

00:04:08 --> 00:04:19
			Koran. So this is the background of the story but the Hadith actually goes on and narrates the
entire story and it goes into the details of the story as well.

00:04:23 --> 00:04:35
			So we will go to salata calf and we start with verse 16, out of the lamb nishitani regime, what is
called a moose alfetta hula aberhart, Abu Ahmed malba hyena, mo jacoba.

00:04:36 --> 00:04:48
			And remember when Moses said to his voice servant, I will not give up traveling until I reached the
junction of the two seas or until I spend years and years in traveling.

00:04:49 --> 00:04:59
			And that seems like we're having some difficulties with the with the slides. So if you want to
follow along, we just need to go with the sort of recap the entire the entire

00:05:00 --> 00:05:11
			Tire versus everything we have is all in solar to GitHub. So if you want to follow with the Koran,
that's the that's what we need to go and it is similar to calve, and it's verse number 60 will
restart.

00:05:13 --> 00:06:00
			So what is called a musetti Fatah hula hut, Abu menjamin, the hurricane Maria Sharapova. Moosa told
his servant boy I will not give up traveling, I will keep going, until I either reach the junction
of the two seas or I spend years in traveling. the junction of the two seas is the general place for
Allah Subhana, Allah to Allah directed his prophet moves to go to, and this specific place, the more
specific places when they lose actually the fish. And you see here moose is saying, I will go to
that junction of the two seas and earlier I said, the scholar said, this could be either battle room
or battle force, which is the sea of Persia, and that's the Gulf currently the Persian Gulf and the

00:06:00 --> 00:06:49
			sea of the of the Romans, which is the Mediterranean Sea. The Mediterranean sea was called at that
time, the sea of the Romans and some scholars so it said no, it was the meeting point between battle
colorism, which is the name of the Red Sea at that time, and battle room, which and which is the
Mediterranean. So it's the junction between the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, which is the Sinai
and area and the Sinai, Sinai Peninsula. And some other said it is that point of the Sinai
Peninsula, where the Aqaba golf meets with the Red Sea. So it could be that place as well. So there
is differences about where exactly that point that Allah directed Moosa to meet that righteous man.

00:06:49 --> 00:07:02
			But Moosa knew exactly where to go. And that's the important point of that as well as Moosa went
into that general direction. The other important lesson in here, very important lesson in that one
verse.

00:07:03 --> 00:07:58
			And that's, again, verse 16. So let's get that the diligence in seeking knowledge. Moosa says, I
will keep going, until I find that man, until I reach that point, I'm Leah hakuba. Or I can go on
travel and travel and travel for years and years. So you see here the understanding of Musa alayhis
salam, of seeking knowledge, there is really no other places in the Quran, where we can see a
prophet of Allah and the act of seeking knowledge. The majority is, the majority of the stories that
we have in the Quran, are the prophets of Allah and the messengers of Allah teaching others. This is
a sort of 30 verse, situation where you see a prophet of Allah, a messenger of Allah, in the action

00:07:58 --> 00:08:00
			of seeking knowledge.

00:08:02 --> 00:08:52
			And you see how diligent, even a man of this stature, a prophet of the stature of musala, his setup
of the knowledge of Musa alayhis, Salam of the status of Masada, his setup, when he becomes an
example and the role model in seeking knowledge for the sake of Allah subhana wa Tada. And that
tells us immediately from the very first verse of this entire story, how important seeking knowledge
is why consider and Allah subhana wa to Allah even ordered his prophet commanded His Prophet
Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the Koran about seeking knowledge while Cora visit near Alma
and say Allah increase my knowledge or increase the the amount of knowledge that I have. And Allah

00:08:52 --> 00:09:26
			explained to us in the Quran and told us in the Quran, that those who have knowledge are not equal
to those who do not have knowledge of polyester we live in Allah Muna, Latina Allah Allah moon in
America, the coronal and Bab say is it equal those that they know and those who do not, it is not
equal. Those who have knowledge are not equal to those who do not have knowledge in the matter that
coronal l Bab those who have remembrance those who remember those who have been be admonished and
understand the commandments of Allah, those who have knowledge you do l Bab those who have
intellect.

00:09:28 --> 00:09:59
			And we see here that mu says, practicing what what the prophet also sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has
taught us in the Hadith, that seeking knowledge by itself is a worship is an act of worship. And
Musa said, I will I will get I will not get tired, I will be tireless even if I have to go on and on
hakuba for years upon years upon years, just an act of seeking those the knowledge from that man and
the Prophet said in Sahih Muslim

00:10:00 --> 00:10:25
			As narrated by avoid or the alarm, men Celica Polycom, Tammy Sue fee here in men say hello ma hula
hoops, Polycom, Ellen Jenna, those who walk in a path, seeking knowledge, Allah would ease a path
for them to get into paradise. Allah by that effort of seeking knowledge, Allah will ease their way
to get to paradise.

00:10:30 --> 00:10:40
			So, this is the the, the one important lesson that we just derived from the opening of this of the
of this story.

00:10:41 --> 00:10:47
			And then Allah Subhana Allah said philomela Bella homage Maha the nema nesea hota Houma

00:10:48 --> 00:11:27
			Sevilla who Sevilla hifiberry Sahaba but when they reach the junction of the two seas, they forgot
their fish the Hood. Hood is the name for a whale also for a fish that Dakota sebelah Whoville daddy
Saba, and it took the fish took its way through the sea as an eternal it just right through the sea,
without even deviating through the currents without going back and forth. The fish right into the
sea. And when on phenom major was that and when they passed that point with the fish jumped into the
sea and went on Fallon major was a

00:11:28 --> 00:11:46
			call Elisa who Moosa said to his voice servant attina Anna, give bring us our food, give us our
meal. La Casa de la cocina means a Farina had an Saba truly we have suffered much fatigue, much
tiredness in this journey.

00:11:47 --> 00:12:40
			At that point, the servant boy says Carla are eight days away in a in a sorority for Indigenous
women 70 who illustrate on Quora. He said Do you remember when we be took ourselves to the rock to
the rock that so there was that point where they rested? And Moosa was asleep and the boy was
watching and here's that fish and the and the in the place that in the container that they had the
fish in. So the the boy is saying to Moosa right away in a Lhasa. Remember when we were in our new
we were resting at that rock venue in a seated hood, then I forgot this fish. Well, Matt and Sandy
who illustrate on one and Cora, and none but Satan made me forget to remember it.

00:12:41 --> 00:13:07
			So that's also another lesson we learned from that verse, that when people are forgetful and they
forget things, shaitan Satan, the evil spirits, is part of the reason why we forget things. And it's
always good when we try to remember things, is to remember the mentioned the name of Allah Subhana
Allah to Allah, and to take refuge with ALLAH Subhana Allah to Allah from the evil of shaitaan.

00:13:08 --> 00:13:17
			So then he said, what other Sevilla have in Bahia Java, this boy said, and then this fish took its
course into the sea in a strange in an amazing way.

00:13:18 --> 00:14:08
			And that tells you how amazed was that that young servant, but yet still, he forgot that amazing
incident. And that that is is a testimony to the work of shaytaan Oh, that happened at that time.
You know, an event like that cannot be just forgotten by by a person who witnessed that it's not an
easy thing to forget. But he forgot because of the work of a talk. And then he said it was an
amazing event. I did not tell you but that's what happened. Then Noosa, who was fully aware of the
sign that Allah Subhana Allah has given him that when that fish goes away, that's the point of
meeting that's where you meet that that person but Musa and his boy has already traveled further

00:14:08 --> 00:14:36
			right? Because he did not tell Moosa immediately that I lost the fish. He only told him later on. So
Moosa said let's go back to that particular point. Carla has early chemical Natalie fortezza Allah
as an email kasasa. So they went back and they were tracking their own traces their own footprints,
their own train tracks in the sand and that area, until they found in that

00:14:37 --> 00:15:00
			fella Jetta, I put them in a bag. And Allah said they found a slave of our slaves. They found one of
our slaves, and Athena, who I met him in Indiana, we have bestowed Mercy from Us upon him, where I
am now who mainly do nyla and whom we had taught knowledge from us, so

00:15:00 --> 00:15:22
			Allah has bestowed his knowledge and his mercy upon this person. And then finally Musa alayhis
salaam, met with this with this man with this righteous slave of Allah. And then the Hadith is his
name is Al Hubba. And he is the righteous man. He is not a prophet of Allah. He is someone that
Allah has bestowed this knowledge upon.

00:15:24 --> 00:15:29
			So now we go to verse 63, I'm sorry to verse 66.

00:15:30 --> 00:16:01
			Musa started addressing this knowledgeable person of a law call Allah who Moosa * x v aroca.
Allah and to lemony mym Lim, Toshiba, Moosa said to the harder May I follow you, so that you teach
me something of the knowledge, the guidance which you have been taught by Allah, * activee oka,
Allah and to eliminate in email Lim terasa.

00:16:03 --> 00:16:27
			Now who is the Messenger of Allah, smooth, who is the Prophet smooth? Who is the one demand that
Allah spoke to directly? It's Moosa, who is the man that speaks to a law directly, it is Moosa. How
is Moosa addressing a person of knowledge, held at tapioca Can I follow you

00:16:28 --> 00:16:37
			see the humbleness of Moosa, before someone who is actually in reality should be below him right?

00:16:38 --> 00:16:53
			The best of creation of the prophets and the messengers of Allah and everybody else's, after that,
so, technically, this person is should be subservient to Moosa. Right, who is the Prophet of the
time,

00:16:54 --> 00:17:39
			yet Moosa before the knowledge he is alive, teaching us an important lesson in this in this verse,
and at the humbleness of the Prophet of Allah before someone who is seeking he is seeking knowledge
from and that's how we all should act, we are all students of knowledge, we seek knowledge, and the
people that we seek knowledge from, we should also show if the Prophet of Allah, if can Lima, the
one that spoke to Allah and Allah spoke to directly is showing humbleness? How should we deal with
the people that are, you know, with the people of knowledge, so we should always have respect to our
LMR, to our scholars to our Eman store for you to the people that actually give us those knowledge

00:17:39 --> 00:18:15
			that Allah bestowed the knowledge upon them and they teach us those knowledge and we should
understand that that aspect we should be subservient to them, and we should show humbleness before
them. * at saburo Carla and fundamentally madelinetosh da and the man answer is Moosa a very
strange answer. Now he is he coming to seek knowledge and to learn from him? And he said color in
the calendar spot IANA Sabra, he said fairly, you will not be able to be patient with me, said you
can't be patient with me.

00:18:16 --> 00:18:52
			And then he explained he elaborated more well Kay fetters bureau LML and to help me Hoover, MLM to
help me houbara How can you have patient about a thing, which you know not, you will see things that
will amaze you. Now, this whole atmosphere the whole, the whole journey starts with an amazing
miracle. A fish jumps out of a container that was supposed to be a food, and then swings into the
sea and it goes on. And he's telling them you have seen nothing yet.

00:18:54 --> 00:19:02
			That the things that you're about to see, will make you so impatient. He cannot tolerate the actions
that you're about to see.

00:19:03 --> 00:19:55
			Moosa says Carla SATA Guidoni insha Allah who sobre la si la cama Musa makes two promises there, he
said, set the genie in sha Allah who Sameera if Allah wills you will find me patient. Well as a
colon, Alicia in any file on Delica Illa Allah Don't ever say to anything that I will do this,
except when you say in that Yeshua, Allah insha Allah. And Moo says practicing that adabas Allah
said, set the genie in sha Allah sada. So he has the absolute intention. And Moosa is one of the
five prophets Ahlul azim that there have strong resolve when he is saying that he's not shaky about
it, he really means and he has more resolve than any human being, you know, person you know, and

00:19:55 --> 00:19:59
			Musa saying, I will be patient in sha Allah. So he is fully

00:20:00 --> 00:20:16
			determined to be patient and not to object was a one then he made another promise. He said, Well I
actually like ombre I will never I will not this obey you and anything you command me to do, I will
not this obey and art.

00:20:17 --> 00:20:25
			Again you see the humbleness of masa, he is Moosa and the other person is a servant of Allah.

00:20:26 --> 00:20:59
			And he said, I will be obedient to you. Just let me follow you and learn from what Allah subhanho wa
Taala has given you. And then the right was personal hodel said, Allah for any Tibet, any fella has
any unshaved had or deselect, I mean, he had only one condition Formosa one, only one condition. He
said, when you follow me, then if you follow me, asked me nuts about anything that I myself mention
of it to you.

00:21:00 --> 00:21:12
			Don't ask me questions, you will see things that you may not like, you will see wonderous things.
This whole journey started in that way. But don't ask any questions.

00:21:13 --> 00:21:19
			Musa agreed to that he's already agreed, even before the man said his condition.

00:21:21 --> 00:21:56
			And what it is he's told he's telling Musa alayhis salam that that there is pain for possible Allah
man and Cobra, how can you find the patient, to understand to have the patience before things that
you have completely no understanding all there is no understanding. And if you don't understand
events, sometimes you will not be patient. Now that is not the problem of Musa alayhis salam alone.
We all know you have to understand we are reflecting on these stories. Now. We all have this
problem.

00:21:57 --> 00:22:21
			We cannot be patient, we don't understand things a lot of times, and that may get into our psyche
and we are not patient in front of events that we don't understand fully. Why does this happen to
me? Why does my son have to get sick? Why? Why is this why why am I not you know passing this Why am
I not achieving this? Why is this happening to us? You know,

00:22:22 --> 00:22:36
			and he's saying k for possible lm lm to help a cobra you can't see the full picture only a law sees
it all. Only a law knows it all. And we human beings have to trust them a loss.

00:22:37 --> 00:23:05
			And that was the the prelude the whole thing and now is the practical lessons. Now comes the
examples that are about to come in this story to exactly allow, illustrate and explain that one
point that this man is saying to Moosa this whole lesson is about you will have no patience with
things that you don't fully understand. And that is a human problem. And that is the problem that we
are facing in this story.

00:23:07 --> 00:23:19
			So they walk on a journey and they are now together fentanyl car and they both proceed halfway there
rocky death is Safina T and they

00:23:20 --> 00:24:00
			embarked on a ship on the ship. And in the Hadith that I mentioned in a hurry and Muslim. The this
ship this ship, they actually got them they allowed them to come on board for free. They gave them a
ride. So these people, the navigators, the the Seaman, the ship people, they were so good to them.
They were so good to Moosa and to this righteous servant that they allow them to get on the ride for
free. had their Iraqi death is Safina t Ha ha ha. And then when they were on the ship, he scuttled
it. He makes a hole in the ship.

00:24:01 --> 00:24:30
			And Musa said calahorra Leto Monica, Conchita Shania Mora, how did you do this? Have you scuttled it
in order to drown its people? I mean, here's the good people, they give us the ride. They let us get
on the ship for free. And that's how you reward them. I mean, what sense does that make? There's
absolutely no, you know, human being cannot see any positive side in that. How can you do something
like that?

00:24:31 --> 00:24:44
			The man responded not by explaining what's going on. Call it lm a call in Nicoletta satyananda.
sobre did not say that you will not be able to be patient, that you could not hold your patience
with me.

00:24:46 --> 00:24:59
			And then Moosa remembers, he had full intentions to obey and follow the intention to follow at full
intention to remain silent. Color let me be menisci. He said, forgive me

00:25:00 --> 00:25:12
			Don't call me into account for for my forgetfulness for God. He reacted well to help him in amorosa
and be not hard upon me for my affair with you.

00:25:14 --> 00:25:33
			So, this one incident past Moosa is still very puzzled for what happened, but he knew he cannot ask.
So they went on and that journey, fentanyl car. Hotez alakea hulan. So they made a boy for katella
he killed him.

00:25:34 --> 00:25:36
			Crack the neck of an innocent boy.

00:25:38 --> 00:26:12
			Kala Alcatel Tennyson's akhiya can be readiness, check on JJ and nohcra. He comes set up he said
have you killed an innocent person who had killed blood? This is a young boy this is a child and
you're killing the child who committed no crime. Naka Jetta she and Mr. Verily you have committed
that dreadful thing a great evil that you have just committed. Now the man's response, you know, in
the in the previous verse, he said, What did he say in

00:26:13 --> 00:27:02
			color? Hola. lm appel in Atlanta stop piano as of right in the first verse. And in the second one,
his response was was even more firm. Karla lm Aqua laka. In Atlanta, stuffy Anaya sobre. There is
two letters difference between this verse in that verse. And those two letters are very important.
It tells you a completely different tone of speech. Now the righteous man is getting more firm. So
Didn't I tell you, you will not be able to be patient with me? Allah LML colloca. In the calendar,
stuffy Amaya sobre. Who says realizing what's going on he he is reacting and he cannot be patient
and the man is right. And he's already caught him twice on this. And then he said Carla insell to

00:27:02 --> 00:27:47
			country embed half a lot of saw happening. If I ask any more questions, then you are free not to you
know, this Don't be my companion anymore. No, let me go on the journey with you. falletto sahibi
cards, Bella, Tammy ledger NEOs RA, you have received an excuse from me, you're gonna have to be
completely excused. I have no excuse anymore, if I do it a third time, because he promised not to
ask one question. And now he's already asked two of them he could, he protested twice. But the ax
brothers are so overwhelming, I mean, who could have kept his silence, you know, making a hole in
the ship. And the people have done nothing killing a boy. You know, these are amazing. These are

00:27:47 --> 00:27:50
			acts that are very hard to, to just watch.

00:27:52 --> 00:28:05
			And then online explains a lot tells us more. And so it's fun color car, and they move more, they
proceeded hotter in Korea, they got into a village, they came to the people of a town.

00:28:06 --> 00:28:59
			Now, when you walk into a town, and this has been a tradition for the millennia of human existence,
that it is an image and then they were walking across the Middle East. And it is like in many other
places of the old world is as strangers walk into a village or a town, they become the
responsibility of the people of those that have that built the shelter and the food, providing the
the place to stay and providing the food is the obligation of the people of that village. And
actually that is an Islamic principle. Now, if someone comes to a town of Muslims, and they need
shelter and food, and there is no mechanism, and there is no volunteers to provide shelter, and

00:28:59 --> 00:29:28
			food, for those who are in need of it, the entire people of the town are sinners. This is thought of
lucky failure. We have to provide that. If there is no other mechanism to provide it. It is our
obligation to do it. Now they here they are now they're on the journey. They're tired, they're
hungry, they've been traveling, they get into this town and they expect at least that and they get
nothing.

00:29:29 --> 00:29:59
			Now a guest should never ask for food or shelter. But they have to ask, they have to beg for stop
Allah Allah. Now that is by itself as an insult and gives you the the the the psyche of those people
the people of the village against should never ask they were asking for food and they're asking for
shoulder stop Allah Allah. yet. They refuse to feed them. Fat boo boo Houma.

00:30:01 --> 00:30:40
			And Allah said not only are you playing move home, are you buying food? It is an obligation of those
people of of that town to make moves and that companion as guests, but they refuse so what that what
does that tell you about those people? The mean? The very mean people, they're very stingy people,
they're very greedy people. They are bad people, just from that one incident from that one. And and
Subhanallah This is the beauty of the Koran doesn't need to have a full page of description in few
words, you get the full picture. Miracle ally, former US, Canada, that's what it is.

00:30:41 --> 00:30:54
			Are you ready for him? So they go into a place where do they sleep, they're not giving them shelter.
They're not giving them food, and they walk into a deserted area, that deserted place, and there is
a wall.

00:30:55 --> 00:31:22
			And that wall is about to crumble. It's an old wall. It's just about to fall down. Howard said that
he had a data URI to a young cub. And Allah says so they found when they're in a wall about to
collapse. So this righteous man, you read on a corner, he goes on and he said the Wall Street and he
repairs the wall. He started fixing the wall.

00:31:23 --> 00:31:34
			And Moosa is watching that. I mean here we are working for free. For those mean people, stingy
people, we are providing services for them.

00:31:35 --> 00:32:05
			Working for them and the police. Why don't we just ask for a bite? Can we ask for something in
return? We are working in this evil town and we are hungry, we are tired. Can we ask for food? And
he said Paula. She has barely a draw. He gave a suggestion to the man he said lo schita if you want
if you wish surely you could have taken wages for it.

00:32:06 --> 00:32:39
			For something you know a loaf of bread or something. We're hungry, we're tired. Carla, she tells her
family a draw. Carla has a new baby Nick. This is it. said this is the point of separation. This is
the part thing between you and me. Now set on a Bo Kavita wheelie Mel and testify Li sobre now, I
will explain to you the things that you will not be able to hold your patience from now it comes the
me you know, so Kerala the

00:32:40 --> 00:33:27
			the last event was you know, the first two are evil acts in their apparent in their outwardness
right and we know they're not evil because they were done by a righteous person and we will see how
but the last one wasn't an act of kindness. If you lay it in a in a place that acts of kindness
probably should not have occurred or at least it should not be a free act of kindness according to
the understanding of musala his cellar you know you put the good things were good things should fall
and and and the way those people treated moose and treated you know if you compare when we are
studying this the the story of Ibrahim Ali his cellar. How did Ibrahim plead his guests and look at

00:33:27 --> 00:33:42
			how the people of this village treated their guests. The guests of this village had to beg for food
at the ask for food and they were not given food. When the people that the three people that came to
Ibrahim who he knew nothing about them.

00:33:43 --> 00:34:18
			* attacca had diesel dyfi Brahim and McCraney is dahulu Allah He socceroo Salah Kala salam o como
mukuru for Allah Allah le jbH Adrian semi Ibrahim when he was visited by his guests, a lot called
and immediately mccrum an honored guest. They come to an honored man. They walked into him and they
say Salaam he knew nothing about them all SLM, he returned the Salah Carmen macaroon, he doesn't
know who they are. He immediately went to his family, and he brought a whole calf and put it in
front of them.

00:34:20 --> 00:34:59
			Without them asking, and they were actually what angels they don't even eat. But yeah, this is how
you honor the guest. And you see the opposite the exact opposite picture from those means stingy
people, but that was the breaking point. That was the third question that Musa alayhis salam asked
and at that time the man said, Now I will tell you now I will give you the explanations. He said Mr.
Safina to the cabinet, Lima sakeena meluna filta as a as for the ship. It belonged to poor people
working in the sea, for out to an EVA so I wish to make a difference.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:29
			defective damaged in it. Why? Why do you want to make a defect Why do you want to put a hole in the
in the in the in the ship color and then he said what can our Amelie Konya kalasa fee nothing, no
spa behind them waiting for them in that next port, there was a tyrant king who will take every good
ship. Last but he will steal it he will seize it.

00:35:30 --> 00:35:37
			And in the Hadith not in the Quran, Kula Safina tin foil he hadn't was bad, he would look at the
ship, he likes it. It's his.

00:35:38 --> 00:35:53
			And who are those poor people to defend themselves if nothing, they if they were fair, if they fell
into the hand of that King of that tyrant, they will lose their livelihood. That ship was their
livelihood.

00:35:55 --> 00:36:05
			That was what they called everything this many people have that was that ship, fish on it transport
goods, whatever they do with it. But that was their only livelihood.

00:36:06 --> 00:36:21
			And who protected them from that King, Allah subhana wa Tada. And the most unexpected way, by making
a defect by putting a hole in that chip allow us protecting them.

00:36:22 --> 00:36:24
			Who would have thought of that?

00:36:25 --> 00:36:43
			Who any of those poor people if they had a defect in the ship, they will think it's a disaster. It's
really something bad that happened to them. But who has the full picture? Who has the wisdom and the
knowledge? So Hannah hula illawarra Liam hacking?

00:36:44 --> 00:36:57
			And then the man goes on explaining what a mellow lamb about the boy understand the ship? You know?
How about the boy you killed? The boy said, Well, I'm Mel hula Falcon about our home meaning

00:36:58 --> 00:37:01
			his parents were believers. They were good people.

00:37:03 --> 00:37:32
			For her Sheena, Eureka Houma, Louisiana waka. So we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion
and disbelief. Allah only has the knowledge to know that this boy is growing up. To be an
unbeliever. It'd be a rebellion kid or a billion person. He will be someone who will oppress and
abuse his own parents.

00:37:33 --> 00:37:34
			Alan knew that.

00:37:35 --> 00:37:37
			And Allah wanted better for them.

00:37:39 --> 00:37:45
			This is this was the fate of this person, that he is not going to grow up to be that good man.

00:37:46 --> 00:38:06
			And people do oppress their parents. People do abuse their parents. And some parents suffer
tremendously. And when a parent suffers from the abuse of the children, they suffer twice. They
suffer from the abuse itself and they suffer more because it's coming from the children.

00:38:09 --> 00:38:57
			This is a very hard thing to take. Allah wanted to protect those believing parents from this abusive
parent transgressor son, and Allah says for Aradhna Ayub de la humara, Bella buena, Hiram Mendoza,
Catherine Walker about ohana. And we intended that their Lord should change him, for them, for one
better and righteousness and better and mercy. Someone who is near and mercy Allah replace that
Allah gave them another, another child. And some scholars say it was a voice. Some say it's a girl
allow on him, but Allah gave them a child that has mercy upon them that is good to them. That is a
righteous child.

00:38:58 --> 00:39:00
			So did they lose anything?

00:39:01 --> 00:39:15
			On the outwardness of it, lost the child, miserable thing for any parent, to lose a child. It's one
of the hardest thing ever, but a lot knows it would have been much harder if that child lived

00:39:17 --> 00:39:25
			and then becomes a source of misery and pain and harm to his own parents.

00:39:26 --> 00:39:33
			So Allah will replace that child for a righteous one. Well, how about the wall?

00:39:35 --> 00:39:37
			As for the wall well MLG de

00:39:39 --> 00:39:41
			fer can alula make anything made in

00:39:42 --> 00:39:59
			this wall belong to two orphan boys in that village. Now there is an Arabic proverb there's an
Arabic Say and you say, I'll do mean a Tammy, female directly. There is nothing more lost more more
miserable than orphans.

00:40:00 --> 00:40:02
			around the table of mean people,

00:40:03 --> 00:40:14
			they get abused, they get orphans are young people that have no protection. And if you put them and
with mean people, then they are going to get the worst of it.

00:40:16 --> 00:40:23
			Because these people are mean a lot demonstrated for us How mean these people were, how stingy these
people were.

00:40:24 --> 00:40:29
			And now Allah says to us that that wall actually belonged to to orphan child.

00:40:30 --> 00:40:36
			The artists completely out are overwhelmingly out of power than this town.

00:40:37 --> 00:40:49
			Amongst the worst of people. cannoli hula mania teammate if in Medina or Canada who canceled lahoma
and there was a treasure under that wall that is very than hitting for them.

00:40:51 --> 00:40:55
			And there is a catch here. What can abou Houma salia

00:40:56 --> 00:40:58
			and their father was a righteous man.

00:41:00 --> 00:41:04
			So there is an insurance policy written with almost penalty Allah for that person.

00:41:06 --> 00:41:25
			Allah Subhana Allah to Allah will protect the righteous and the righteous children. If you are good
with Allah, Allah will bring up your children to be good and Allah will protect them whether you're
there and you're not. Allah is the Protector, Mahara and half Eva Warhammer Rahimi as Yaqoob said
nakara

00:41:26 --> 00:41:32
			can abou masala can't read that, that these few words in

00:41:33 --> 00:41:51
			you know, we worry about our children. We want to protect, we want to get money for wanting to get
the best indication. We want them to get the best of everything. Well, the best thing that we can do
for ourselves and our children is to be an actress, and to deliver righteousness to them.

00:41:52 --> 00:42:25
			That's the best thing. That's the best policy and this is a store this is not as this is a reality.
This is what Allah is telling us to the believers. Look what happened. Allah will will will do it in
its most unpredictable and the most amazing way just because their parents say their father was a
righteous man, those two orphans who have no chance and that city in that town, they were protected
by Allah and Allah sends people to help them and Allah sends people to protect them.

00:42:26 --> 00:43:19
			For our Adora buka Yeah, blue should the hoonah it is the willow for law, that they will reach their
power their full strength now their children, but the wall was about to crumble. And the treasure
was about to be eaten up by those mean people but no, because the father was righteous. Allah sent
someone to put that wall again up strong enough. So it would last maybe 1015 years until those small
children are young, strong adults. And no one can abuse him anymore. And yeah, blah, blah. I should
down. Oh esta hora, jackin Zuma, they will dig up that treasure themselves underneath from from
underneath their own wall. Why is Stefanie Jenkins a homer? I met him Arabic as the mercy from Allah

00:43:19 --> 00:43:20
			subhana wa Tada.

00:43:21 --> 00:43:27
			And then he said, Well, my faculty who aren't Emory, none of the deeds that I have done or my idea

00:43:29 --> 00:43:31
			none of that was me. Who was

00:43:33 --> 00:43:43
			a less hands on with that. My faculty who an Emory, it was not my commandment, it was the
commandment of All Merciful, the all powerful and all wise.

00:43:45 --> 00:43:46
			trust in Allah.

00:43:47 --> 00:43:56
			There Licata wielu melon teslin la sobre This is the explanation of what you could not hold patience
for.

00:44:03 --> 00:44:04
			This is

00:44:05 --> 00:44:09
			if there is no argument for believing in our color on color.

00:44:10 --> 00:44:22
			More than this story in these these verses, I don't know what is. You know, we sometimes don't
understand why things happen. And Allah says, a lot of times you won't understand

00:44:24 --> 00:44:25
			trust in Allah.

00:44:26 --> 00:44:59
			Trust and the power of Allah. And sometimes I mean, things that are just so clearly and our vision
can be wrong. I mean, can anybody understand why a young boy would should be killed? Why poor people
would have their ship you know, sabotage, myself, Why me? Why did that happen to me? I don't deserve
this. Oh, I sometimes hear you know, people just say, Well, why I'm always been good. Why is this
happening to me? How do you

00:45:00 --> 00:45:17
			This is bad. You don't know what we don't know what's good and what's bad. We went through the
entire sewer of use of and we will see bad events turning good and good events turning Bad, bad
event and it was just one of those cycle. You know, good and bad is all relative.

00:45:18 --> 00:45:19
			If we trust the noble

00:45:20 --> 00:45:35
			and then we have to do what to be patient. How many times the word patience sobre lambda stata la
sombra de Fatah. Spiro lm lm to help me, hombre. Be patient, practice solver

00:45:36 --> 00:45:45
			especially with things that you may not fully understand. Law knows we don't understand everything.
Probably we don't understand most things that happened to us.

00:45:47 --> 00:46:10
			So is it good or is it bad law either? When a blue accom will hire you a sharp fitna at hospital. We
test you with good and bad and they both are trials. Fitness. They both are a test for us at us
Varun, are you going to have sabar? Are we going to have patients before they stay?

00:46:12 --> 00:46:23
			And this is clearly illustrated here. The knowledge of Allah is infinite. The knowledge of Allah is
so vast in the head Ethan al Bukhari and Muslim about this particular story.

00:46:24 --> 00:46:25
			He

00:46:29 --> 00:46:57
			Musa was will hover on top of the ship on the ship on the deck of the ship, and the bird comes in
and he dips its peak its beak in the water and lifted and then other fills Moosa this righteous man
he said Mary mocha while me, ye will holla fearing Milla, Islamic dharana Hamas forum and Cora.

00:47:00 --> 00:47:15
			The Sparrow comes and dips into its beak into the sea and other says, You're my knowledge, all this
knowledge that you're amazed with, and your knowledge and the knowledge that you have Mussa.

00:47:16 --> 00:47:27
			And the knowledge of all creation, when it's compared with the knowledge of the law, is as much as
that little bird dipped out of the big sea.

00:47:29 --> 00:47:53
			Well, now oh Tito, minella in me in La kalila. You have given none but a little bit of the
knowledge. So when whenever we think about that, we think about the knowledge of Allah, and the
power of the law. Even the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when he concluded this beautiful
Hadith, and again in Bukhari and Muslim, he said, In Arabic first

00:47:57 --> 00:48:26
			he said, when when the man said had the pharaoh Cobain, you have a neck This is the point of
separation. This is when we part of our source olalia, salaam, setcolor Hama la Hamza, what that
Nano Server had silent I mean, Mr. mahina, he said, may Allah have mercy on Musa I wish to fuse just
a little bit more patient. So I would we would hear more of this, we will hear more of these amazing
things. We don't understand more about the wisdom of our last panel data, but the knowledge of our
last panel with

00:48:28 --> 00:48:45
			the Prophet did not have enough but this was the the the way of Allah subhanaw taala to tell us that
things would happen to us and some things are good and some things are bad. And all of it is in the
hands of Allah Subhana Allah and all in the knowledge of Allah subhana wa tada

00:48:52 --> 00:48:56
			few things, few comments. I think we're probably out of time but

00:48:58 --> 00:49:36
			some of the miracles of the Quran of the Bayani of the of the language miracles of the Quran, are so
beautiful in this sutra and I will just leave you with one of them. The word when you translate the
word stop or testifier it's always translated as you can do this or can't do that. It's about
capability and ability to do this. But we say we see that Allah subhanaw taala said it in three
different ways in this particular story when the first time he said Paula in Atlanta Sophie and I
are sobre la ma Paulina Cullen test aqui Anaya sobre.

00:49:37 --> 00:49:59
			And then at the end when he started explaining, the saltier means you can you can be patient. And
then when he started explaining to him he said so in a bill Capita we need mellem test player, Allah
He sobre la Stata. Yeah, but the stock tire. And then when he finished explaining, he said that he
kept that lelou melon gusta la sobre

00:50:00 --> 00:50:18
			When the affairs were so difficult to understand, you know, cold making a hole in the ship killing a
boy, not asking for money for work, he was hard. And he would say, let that stop Leah using the
heaviest form of the verb testa.

00:50:20 --> 00:50:58
			And when he started explaining, he used the medium verb he didn't test that plow, because it's about
to be explained, it's going to get easier. And when he explained everything, the form of the verb
becomes the slowest one becomes the softest one Tesla. Now it's so easy to understand. Now you can
understand how you can be patient with it after after it's all explained to you. And you see, every
single word in the Quran cannot be replaced with another word. Every verb is put right, exactly
where it should be. And nothing, you know, no human being, can pay attention to those details as
they speak and they talk about all of these things. So that's just one of the things and additional

00:50:59 --> 00:51:38
			common just as a testament to the miracle of the Quran. When melty terminal enemy in the kalila and
we have not gotten have gotten out of knowledge except very little. So we ask Allah subhana wa to
Allah to bestow His knowledge upon us and to give us patience, even if we don't understand those
events around us but to give us the patience to cope with it to deal with it, and to give us the
trust to trust him Papa token Allah Allah subhana wa Taala ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to best
benefit us with this knowledge and to benefit us with with the Quran and to benefit us with the
Hadith in the seat of our prophets a lot honey and send them a hula Kohli has suffered a lot. How

00:51:38 --> 00:51:41
			are the many pairs of them suffering
