Biography Sadullah Khan
Sadullah Khan, originally from Vryburg, South Africa, has been a notable figure since his early years. A student leader during the anti-apartheid movement, Sheikh Khan began public speaking at the age of 12, reciting the Quran at 6, and chanting odes in praise of the Prophet by 8. His academic journey includes law studies at the University of Durban, Journalism in the UK, and Islamic Studies at Al-Azhar University in Cairo.
Khan co-founded the Islamic College of Southern Africa, now known as the International Peace University of South Africa, where he led the Quranic Sciences Department from 1990 to 1998. His contributions extend to writing the “Ask the Imam” column for Beliefnet.com and lecturing on Islamic Civilization at California State University, Dominguez Hills. There, he also hosted a thirteen-week live TV program on Islamic Civilization & Culture.
As a motivational speaker, Khan focuses on theology, spirituality, empowerment, and youth development. He authored “Dimensions of the Qur’an” and has served in various significant roles:
Director of Muslim Affairs at the University of Southern California
Lecturer on Islam for the Academy of Judaic, Christian, and Islamic Studies at UCLA
Advisor for the post-graduate Islamic Studies program at Claremont Graduate University
Advisor to the Chancellor’s Committee on Religion, Ethics, and Values at UCLA

Currently, Sadullah Khan is the CEO of Islamia College in Cape Town, South Africa.
